Stayed here for a night after last minute cancellation of Paris to London BlaBlaBus during evacuation flight back to UK during corona virus lockdown of Europe. Staff were so helpful in aiding check in - providing take away coffee and breakfast and the bed was so comfortable. Cannot recommend this chain highly enough - real affordable luxury. Just hope the world recovers and we can travel again soon.

Comfortable accommodation, clean room and building! Across the street is the jardins des plantes ( garden of plants) where you can take a nice stroll and relax, Appartment location is close to metro, RER and other attractions. I felt very safe, code is required to enter building and a key card is required to enter appartment, an elevator is available if you have lots of luggage. There's a small kitchen space with fridge and basic appliances if you wish to prepare your own meal. The only downside is having to go to a separate location to pick up the keys, however, at checkout there is a drop box in the building to leave the keys. I will stay at this location again for my next visit

Loving my stay here. Staying for 5 nights and the location is fantastic. Close to the metro, close to the restaurants, Seine River and Gare du Lyon station. Reception staff are great and helpful. Pedro was amazing with our check-in. We opted to pay extra for a room with a view of the Eiffel tower. We also have a view of Notre dame cathedral. Stunning views especially when the Eiffel tower lights up at night. Highly recommend this place. Spacious room, comfy bed, huge TV.

The hotel is right next to Lyon Station and the airport bus arrived within a few steps. I chose to live here because the Lyon station is a big station, the train to Nice departs from here, and the lower floor of the Lyon station is the subway, which is convenient to go everywhere. Although it is the railway station in the 12th district, it is safe for me to walk around with my backpack at 10 o'clock in the evening. There is no need to worry about the train station at night. Mercure entered with a room card, the room was clean and tidy and not small, there was a small refrigerator safe, and breakfast was good. In fact, it doesn't matter if you order breakfast. There is a French chain bakery, Starbucks, and a British chain healthy snack restaurant next to the train station. It is very convenient. There is a little Chinese brother at the front desk, and asked him to ask for the toothpaste and toothbrush that were not in the room. The service attitude was very good!

This is the second time to live here. I have stayed at other hotels in Paris twice, and once again confirmed the original impression: this small hotel has an excellent location, just opposite the Lyon station, and all kinds of restaurant shops around the downstairs are very convenient. The rooms are small but not too crowded (compared to other Paris hotels than to domestic hotels), the interior of the hotel is quaint but the rooms are refurbished, and the quality of the furniture and interior is better than the average chain economy hotel. high. The room is also very good. Our room is facing the Lyon station, and it should be the most lively street, but it feels very quiet at night, not at all noisy. There are some board games for children to play between the front desk and the restaurant. The room booked this time does not have breakfast, but it is not expensive to add directly at the time of check-in. There is a discount at the time of payment. The breakfast is not very rich, but it is still a matter of course.

This turned out to be an excellent choice for an overnight before boarding a train in the morning at the Gare de Lyon. The only disappointment turned out to be a café au lait in the morning, which came from a machine. There is nothing in this world which can exceed a kitchen pouring hot milk into a cup to brighten a day. And by the way, we found these confounded machines now in vogue throughout France. We lucked into a room the type of which we have read about over many years yet never seen - a mansarde. This one was roomy, clean and perfect for a jump back into a favorite country. We would recommend this hotel, especially as reasonably priced and certainly its nearness to the Gare de Lyon.

Very surprised as to how modern and comfortable this hotel was. Having stayed in other parts of Paris where we needed to get a taxi to Gare de Lyon station and the problems we encountered, this time we decided to spend a few days in Paris near our exit point. We loved how modern it was and how they utilised a small space into a very comfortable room and bathroom. No jug in the room but hot water and tea and coffee available on the ground floor at no extra charge. As it is off the main street it was very quiet and had no trouble sleeping. Hotel is close to many restaurants, some not that good and bars that have Happy Hours. The only down side was we arrived at Gare De Nord during peak period and with the traffic congestion the taxi was expensive. If you know the Paris underground it is a cheaper and quicker option.Parks, the Latin quarter and other Landmarks are within walking distance.walking distance

This was our 2nd time here, but the first since June 2014. We arrived just after noon and were warmly welcomed. An upgraded room was ready for us. We were tired as this was just our 1st full day in Europe. The AC worked well so not stuffy. Comfortable bed, good pillows, with many outlets available. Bathroom with rain shower but no tub. Quiet for most part with good soundproofing in window. Breakfast was the best ever at a Holiday Inn with a very good buffet. No eggs to order, but the scrambled eggs, one with cheese and one without were great. There was enough meat and French pastry as well. A good filling breakfast. We only had one issue-the TV. When we arrived, we were very tired so even though I could not get the TV to start, we waited and took a nap. We had dinner just after 6 so on the way out, I mentioned it to the front desk. Upon our return, the front desk guy recognized me and caught up with me by the elevator to say that no one had a chance to check it out, but he would be up on less than 10 minutes. 20 minutes passed so I tried to call. The phone didn't work too well, but I finally got through to somebody with option 9!!! Finally, a tall, skinny, young guy showed up and took his turn with the TV. We had discovered just before he arrived that it was unplugged and would need to be dismounted in order to reattach the plug. The guy offered us another room, but it was late He said the house mechanic was gone for the day. At check out, when I told the story, they waived the city tax charge. Staff at checkout included same guy as a check-in plus a second guy. All staff at front desk, maid in hall at our arrival who had to let us in the room since keys didn't work, after I showed her my room key card, until I returned downstairs, and breakfast staff top notch! I was definitely impressed with the renovations that had been done since our first stay. I have stayed at 6 or 7 Paris Holiday Inns and this was one of the better ones. I did a prepaid price with breakfast included. For my IHG Spire status, I got the upgraded room with free items in the fridge (just a water, juice, a fizzy water, and a candy bar, but still something). We don't come to Paris to watch the TV so that didn't ruin our stay in any way. The best thing for us on this visit was the short walk to our favorite bistro, Chez Paul, for dinner and the also short walk to the train station for our train to Lyon this next day. We will return here sooner rather than later! Merci

This hotel was a replacement due to our original booking becoming unavailable due to renovation work. We were notified of this only a few days before our visit to Paris but were able to secure a booking at Hotel Alexandrie which was close to our original Hotel between The Bastille and Gare de Lyon. Its well located, the staff (and cat) were friendly and helpful and the rooms were absolutely spotless with good showers. We didn't have the breakfast as we prefered to go and sit on the streetside at one of the nearby cafes, however the breakfast room is pleasant and it looked good as we walked past. I had meant to leave a review beforehand but was remembered because I needed a copy of my receipt which the Hotel provided within minutes of me contacting them by email. It was a very positive experience here and I would recommend it as it is very close to the Gare de Lyon and the wonderful Bastille area.

We stopped at the Palym hotel with my daughter. And it was really disappointing. Of all our 20 years old travel stories, this was the worst hotel and most terrible staff. That is why I am writing this review. This is the first time I experienced so much bad customer service. The staff was really unfriendly and behaved creepily. The hotel is really small and the rooms even smaller and really cold. So after checking out, we left a couple of bags in the hotel’s luggage compartment. When we returned to the hotel to pick up the bags the man at the reception shouted at us to disappear immediately because of the covid. I went to the bathroom for about 5 mins, fillowed by my daughter went to the bathroom for the same time. I told the man from the staff that when my daughter comes out of the bathroom we will leave immediately. But he began to shout aggressively, barking and threatening. And finally, what’s absolutely crazy, he took all our bags and threw them out of the hotel on the ground. Then he said after returning to the hotel, that it is not his problem if something happens to the bags or if they are stolen. This is really unprofessional and terrible behavior towards hotel guests. When we came out to pick up the bags from the ground, the bottle of white wine what we bought as a gift, was broken and later we discovered that the lights of the Eiffel Tower what we bought as a gift went broke. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone ever! If you don’t want to spoil the impression of Paris, never stay at this hotel. There are many more comfortable hotels in the same area

The room was a bit worn, and there's not much space to spare, but the bed was comfortable and the AC was good. The WiFi was decent, though it drops out periodically. Yes, there's an elevator, but just big enough for two with modest luggage. Perhaps not for the claustrophobic! Glad to see they posted "green laundry" signs, suggesting they'd only remove towels if left on the shower floor, but, to my chagrin, the gals changed the towels even though we hung them carefully. Some of the towels are pretty coarse, too, so I wish they left the soft ones we so carefully hung up! Lighting in the room is barely adequate. Had to get on the floor and use my phone's flashlight to see the safe box instructions and to check each shelf before we checked out. Cheerful front desk staff, and a really convenient location for train/metro travel. Not possibly handicapped accessible, and would be challenged even with a walker. Glad they had a hot water pot and tea, but would have appreciated instant coffee. Not sure how "fire safe" the place is, since the spiral staircase in the center is carpeted and perhaps not so easy to navigate in an emergency. Would go back in a pinch, because the place was clean, convenient, comfortable, and competitively priced. (Others at nearby "name brand" hotels were complaining about lack of AC, which was a real issue this summer!

The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.

I regret the booking of this hotel. The gentleman at the service desk when I checked in was incredibly rude and condescending throughout the process. The room was as small as expected however the beds and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. The shower had minimal pressure. The AC whenever it was turned on left a gathering of dust over everything in my room. Whilst it is located quite a distance from the centre, there are several stations close by which is handy, unfortunately the food options close by the hotel are terrible. I left the hotel after three nights instead of the five I had booked and paid for.

Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!

Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!

For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.
