Ca Amadi is lovely and very Venetian. It was previously owned by Marco Polo's family and Marco himself may have once lived there. It's near the Rialto bridge, but hard to find - in a courtyard down a narrow street. We printed instructions for getting there from both the train station and the Rialto bridge on Google Maps. This was a big help. Due to the overwhelming number of tourists trying to take the vaporetto, we ended up walking there from the train station which took about 20 minutes. The hotel is on the second floor and has no elevator. Our room was beautiful and the bathroom was modern and elegant. Breakfast was delicious. Great restaurants in easy walking distance.

I was worried when I read the reviews on Trip Advisor, but when we actually got there and saw our room, I had nothing to worry about! Room was clean and the location of the hotel is very convenient. It’s true the reception is not 24/7, but we had no issues with that. Erica was very friendly and informative. We visited in January, so it was rather quiet, both in the hotel and on the streets, good time to avoid the crowds and really enjoy the sightseeing

The hotel Is located in the best part of Venice. Walking distance from Rialto Bridge and Ca’Do’Ro. San Marco is at 15 min walk. 5 min distance walk. We had a beautiful room with Gran Canal View. Even if it is located in the most crowded aerea of the city, the hotel and rooms are very quiet. The staff was very kind and assisted us with all of our questions and needs.

Location is just off the Rialto Bridge which was perfect for us. We received clear instructions from the owner and we found it right away. Google it before you go to get your bearings. It's literally just a couple of yards away from the Rialto along an alley opposite the bridge. It was the perfect base for us. Took the vaporetto from the train station and got off the Rialto stop per the email instructions. The proximity to the vaporetto is so convenient. You get to the hotel in 5mins or so depending on the mass of tourists in the Rialto. It's not really a hotel per se as it is not really staffed 24/7 but they do a great job coordinating with you and estimating the arrival check in time. Check in is typically at 3 anywhere but the owner/manager was very accomodating and commented that they will try their best. We corresponded with the owner by email and gave them an approximate time on when we'll be there and sure enough the manager/owner was already outside waiting for us when we got there. He was very nice and friendly and accomodating. We were actually able to get in to our room at 11am which was wonderful. The property only had a couple of rooms so I'm thinking it's more like a b n b. The owner manager showed us around the room, how to work the AC and the windows and the locks and wifi etc. He was very nice. The room was pretty spacious for Venice standards and the bath/shower was too. I've stayed in another hotel in Venice years ago so I understand how the rooms may be smaller than in the US. This one was spacious enough. We had a triple room with a queen or maybe it was a king and a twin. Wifi was free and functioning. Room was clean. There is bottled water in the fridge. AC was cool and very much needed as it was starting to get warm in early June. Everything was functioning, no clogged sinks or slow draining toilets etc (we've had a couple of issues with clogged sinks in the Ritz in Santa Barbara and a hotel in Sedona and Hawaii). Point being, everything was functioning properly in our room in this property. The location was quiet. No issues whatsover. The property is very near a swanky department store to the right facing the Rialto. Go up to the top floor and you'll be rewarded with an awesome view of the Grand Canal and Venice. It's free to get in. The location and value of this property cannot be beat. It's about a 10 or 15 min walk to Piazza San Marco, longer if you get lost. A lot of restaurants and gelato places and souvenir shops in and around. On our last day, we left early as we wanted to go to Burano and then catch our train back to Rome in the afternoon. We were able to leave our bags in the office. Coordinating the time to pick up was easy peasy with Angela. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff were very nice and accomodating. Shout out to the housekeeper Carmen who was very friendly. I would stay here again. Yes, there is no elevator but it was not an issue for us. I always opt take the st

We have just returned from three nights at the tourist house. The communication received before arrival was brilliant and the instructions on the water boat and how to find the location were excellent. We followed these exactly and were in the hotel less than one hour after landing in Venice. On check in the host was extremely helpful and friendly. He went out of his way to find the details of the night boat and bus we needed for the Saturday for the airport as we had an early flight. Again these instructions were outstanding and we travelled back to the airport at 4 am with no problems. The room was small but quaint. The bedding and towels are spotlessly clean. The bathroom is a little small, my partner struggled in the shower but I was fine. Toiletries are provided. Plenty of hot water. Bathroom was very clean. There is a minibar in the room with a reasonable price list of you want to use it. We found closing the window shutters helpful. Heating in the room was excellent. Complimentary coffee and pastries are served 8 am to 10 am. Location is great, five minutes to Rialto bridge about 15 minutes to the square. As it was so close to Rialto it was always easy to find our way back. If you are looking for convenient, clean, friendly and a great welcome stay here. I would return in a heartbeat. Thank you

The airport can take the bus to the hotel! The hotel is convenient and fast, and there is a bus stop at the door to go directly to the main island! It is easier to compare than to live in the main island! Breakfast is not bad! There is a parking lot!

After a 20-minute walk in the labyrinth of streets and alleys, I found Palazzo Canova right by Canal Grande, a few steps from Rialto Bridge. I received a friendly and warm welcome from the receptionists who all spoke good English. I was quickly checked into my deluxe room, which had a courtyard view. The room was large and would easily fulfill five star critera although the hotel only has four stars. The room was beautifully renovated and decorated, impeccably clean and in perfect condition, complete with pristine parquet flooring. The room came with a very comfortable bed, a sofa and coffee table, a desk and all the amenities that you would need: coffee maker, safe, A/C, umbrella, minibar, two complimentary 0.5 L water bottles that were replenished daily. Wi-fi was free, fast and reliable. The bathroom came with a deep bathtub and a wall-mounted as well as a handheld shower. While the water pressure in the shower was okay, the tub took a long time fill up. The bathroom was also well-equipped; there was a bathrobe and slippers as well as high quality bath products from Rituals plus all the amenities one might need, like dental kits, shaving kits, sewing kits etc. Christmas 2020 came with more than a few restrictions in Italy, which were naturally reflected in my hotel stay, as well. However, the rooftop terrace bar (beautiful views!) was open on a few nights, and they served some food as well although it was mostly snacks and felt a bit mediocre. On the other hand, with restaurants in the city forced to close at 6 pm, it was great to be able to enjoy a hot dinner at the hotel in the evening. There was also limited room service available until 11 pm, with an extra charge of 10 euros, consisting mostly of snacks and sandwiches, together with a few hot items. The location is very central: Rialto Bridge and Rialto Market are a minute or two away, and you can walk to San Marco. The walk to Piazzale Roma or the train station is about 20–30 minutes (depending on how many times you get lost on the way!), or you can take a vaporetto, which stops close to the hotel. The hotel was a bargain at less than 100 EUR a night for a deluxe room, which at normal times would cost 350 EUR during high season. A few rooms have views of the Canal Grande, and you will of course pay a premium for those. I had a wonderful Christmas in Venice and look forward to returning to Palazzo Canova again.

At least lived in Marseille, the letter-to-price ratio is high, the breakfast is not many, but the quality is good! It is very convenient to go to Venice. It is a 10-minute walk to the train station, 10 minutes by train, and 2 stops away. The breakfast was great, recommended! But why do you have to go to the front desk to pay the voucher and return to the breakfast room for dinner? Paying a certain incidental deposit (pre-authorization) at the front desk can solve it, which is inconvenient for guests. Returning to the room from the breakfast room to get money, and then going to the front desk to buy breakfast vouchers, it is not convenient to return to the breakfast room. However, next time the location is affordable, the same location will still choose staycity
