There is a big fish tank, I think it's a bit interesting. I stayed in Berlin for a day, and there was nothing wrong with it. I think I can live. There is a subway station nearby and I don't know if it's the train station.
Stayed at this hotel for five days , rooms were quite ok with a large tv , tea and coffee facilities, fridge with wine and beer for sale . Large shower was very nice . On the down side some plug sockets didn’t work, bathroom sink plug didn’t hold water and if like us you came back to hotel after a day out and you wanted a night cap they said sorry the bar is closed . This happened every night to us when we arrived back around 10/10.30 . Very central and we loved Berlin. Probably wouldn’t use this hotel again.
Hotel location is very good, close to the railway station, light rail station, bus station, surrounded by many large and small supermarkets, eating too convenient, what flavors, the museum island walked a few steps, I also came back to take a nap, next time Still living here. For breakfast, it is better to buy sandwiches from the bakery downstairs.
all good! Located next to the church! Within 100 meters, there is a famous German old hall! tasty! Hotel facilities are complete! There are many art paintings! Warm and comfortable! The bathroom in the room is big! Service staff is warm!
We booked this Hotel for a weekend get away, a great spot, easy walking distance to the river and all landmarks we wanted to see, the tram stops just outside if you want to venture further afield, the Hotel is spacious, we had a room only deal, one room was a suite style with bedroom and sofa setup and the other was a double and good size, in room safes, great bathrooms and toiletries and hairdryers and good TVs in rooms, we would book again very welcoming and a good price for a room only deal, we grabbed breakfast round the corner at Starbucks near to the railway bridge. Reception has tea and coffee free to take to your rooms, and a small bar area, but get out exploring, you wont be disappointed. a great hotel and in a great location.
This is a lovely hotel in a great location, close to museum island and shops/restaurants- all walking distance. The rooms are small but tidy and well done. The bathrooms are equally stylish with Molton Brown soaps/lotions. Best of all the lobby/ adjoining breakfast and bar area are spacious and full of interesting local art. There is a fireplace for evening drink and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel front desk staff was responsive to any and all requests. A great and reasonable choice for Berlin
Nook is a hotel chain that provides studios for travelers. This particular one was in a great location in Mitte, Berlin. Though it's quite in the thick of things, it's actually on a quiet street. I was able to walk to all the major attractions and also found lots of places close by to either get a bite, coffee, or purchase food. The street itself has some important pieces of German history, including Sophienkirche, which Martin Luther King, Jr. visited in 1964; a Jewish cemetery; and The Missing House. Though this was in some ways beyond the control of the host, I do want to note that the walls of the studios are paper-thin. There was an unruly family on my floor whose child kept screaming at the top of his lungs out of anger over something. The family also kept slamming doors and cabinetry quite early in the morning. I immediately wrote to Nook, and it turned out that none of their staff were actually on hand to deal with the matter. All this said, I really did have a good stay at this facility and can recommend it to others. Just maybe bring earplugs!
I wasn't expecting a great deal from a place I'd barely had time to research in any depth. But when we got to the concealed door of the hotel, I knew we were in for a treat! We were put up in an amazing room (all of their rooms are huge compared to some of the other choices in Berlin), and additionally, we had a wonderful view of Alexanderplatz from the window. Loud? You might think so, but this place is so quiet and perfect for those who are sensitive to noise. The immediate amenities included a small kitchen but also the snuggest pair of haus shoes our tired feet could find. Perfect if you've had a long day. The staff are very friendly, happy to help with anything you need, and, the rooms are finished to a really high standard. The shower is huge, and the bathroom is soooo modern. Appliance charging is organised by permanent and card-operated electricity. This place is incredibly cool, but not in-your-face. It's ideally placed for all the sights, but mostly for shopping! Ask the staff for tips on good places to eat, they know all the right places.
Would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay. Loved our time there. Very close to all public transport, great for getting around. Spotlessly clean room with modern design and a beautiful view of the city rooftops. Loved the artwork all around the hotel. Complete privacy if that is what you want - using the app to check-in and as hotel key was simple and easy. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff who looked after us. Staff at the reception and bar were happy to chat with us and point out some local gems in the area we wouldn't have found by ourselves! I had a small issue with the app after checking out and returning home and was looked after remotely by Thomas, and all was perfect. Thank you for a great stay.
A relatively new hotel, about 2-3 years. After going out, the downstairs intersection is the klosterstrasse underground station. It is also close to Alexanderplatz and Alexander Railway Station, and there are many places to eat nearby. At this price, the breakfast is good and the bread is good. The room is not big, there are a lot of plugs, and the bedside plug also has a usb interface. The mattress is not bad and the sanitary condition is very good.
The hotel is okay overall, in the Siemens town, next to the subway. Not too much service, some at the front desk are good, some are not smiling, but also charge extra for breakfast. Later, I will go to the exhibition and change places.
Location is awesome. It's almost like living in a park atmosphere. Lots of walking trails nearby, close to downtown and most of the major tourist attractions, but still in a quiet area. Public transit is readily available (bus stop right across the street, and several trams within short walking distance). Front desk staff were incredible throughout our 5-day stay there -- from check-in to check out. As we were in Germany to assist a family member, ours was more like a working holiday than a relaxing one and although our personal circumstances were seemingly constantly in flux, the staff were EXTREMELY courteous and helpful in adapting our reservations several times. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. There is a nice beer garden in the back where you can get an early start on ”the German experience”, but don't worry about all-night partying or rowdiness...it closes around 9:00 p.m. so, even though we had a room right above it, the noise was never an issue. Rooms are well-soundproofed so getting a good night's sleep was never a problem either. I would give this place more stars if possible, primary due to the outstanding staff and service provided during our stay. This will definitely be our ”go-to” place whenever we are in Berlin.
Because the other room type is set the next day, the housekeeping staff is very helpful to change the room, we do not have to run back specially, the nearby traffic and shops are very convenient! Super recommended
There is a bus stop 7 minutes downstairs, the bus is super punctual, and it takes only 10 minutes to reach the Brandenburg Gate~~ Hotel facilities are great! ! More than 600 nights, five stars really live super satisfied ~~~ just breakfast is too expensive ~ to 25 euros, choose to go to the nearby supermarket to buy German bread drink latte solution ~~~
The location is good, it is very convenient to go to various attractions, and you can walk or take public transportation. Shopping around is very convenient. Reception front desk and doorman service are very good and very polite. The hotel's decoration style is more ancient, and it doesn't matter if it is different from person to person. It is difficult to comment. What the individual doesn't like is the breakfast mode provided by the hotel. The buffet style on the table is only a small variety of bread, butter, cheese, sliced meat, a little fruit, a little juice and so on. Any omelet or egg, or sausage, or hot vegetables, must be ordered in a variety of language menus provided by a single door. Although the speed of serving after ordering is OK, the taste is average and even disappointing. The taste of the drink is average. The overall feeling of the hotel's breakfast quality is not worth the price it sells. In particular, if you are accustomed to eating a self-service rich breakfast, you may not be able to adapt to this breakfast mode.
The location of the hotel is very good, with a subway/tram station next to it, and convenient transportation.
There are many shopping shops nearby, and it is not far from the Haak Market. It is very convenient to eat, drink and play.
The room is large, there is a hidden induction cooker, and there are kitchen utensils in the cabinet, which is very suitable for friends who want to cook for themselves.
I really like the washing and care products in the room. The soap is black, which is very special.
I am a guest of your's. I am very happy here. I sing highly of your service.
First of all, the hotel is so beautiful. It looks like a garden. I enjoy it.
Then, foods are delicious and some of them are amazing. Most important reason
is that the bed is so big and soft that I don't want to get up every morning.
It's wonderful here. I can't believe it that I must leave. I want to live here
again if I come to this city again.Thank you.Sincerely yours a guest.
We always tend to stay here when in Berlin as the location is perfect for the gay area. Hotel staff are very friendly & accommodating. Room was warm & comfy but some of the furnishings are looking a little outdated now. Cleaner didn’t automatically come every day which was disappointing - no doubt another ridiculous Covid19 rule. The fridges with minibar seem to have been removed from the room which is a little annoying - shall we blame covid19 for that too?! The hotel also expects you to wear face masks which is a bit unnecessary as you can walk round any bar, restaurant, or shopping centre now without the need for a mask. I don’t blame the staff In the hotel for this rule but the company needs to get a grip & realise that most travellers are fully vaccinated now. How else could we have got to Germany in the first place? Having said that, we would stay here again as overall the facilities & location are good.
The twin room of this hotel is equipped with three beds. This situation is rare in China and is more suitable for family and children. The second is that the area that needs improvement is a pot that does not have hot water. But the front desk helped me burn a cup, thank you!
I have seen many hotels in Berlin and this one is by far the cleanest/most hygenic one! Especially now during Corona times, they literally send their cleaning team to sanitize door handles etc. every hour and they have a full no-contact check-in and check-out system that works by a telephone service that is always there for you. The cozy rooms and excellent location at Rosethaler Platz makes the stay just perfect. A secret tip: ask for one of their ”signature rooms”, created by local Berlin artists (no additional costs charged). Definitely a recommendation for everyone!
Maps.me map is wrong, Google maps are correct. Located on the west side of the main street. It is a little less than 10 minutes on foot from Alexanderplatz. 1 S-Bahn from SXF Airport. Dormitory for 4 people Shower toilet Ensuite. There is a mini locker. There is a locker that can be locked under the bed. Wifi is connected even in the room. The room and the toilet are beautiful. There is also a light outlet and storage at the bedside. If it's hot, fans can borrow a deposit of 20 euros at the front desk. There is a washing machine in the basement. 3 euros for washing dryer 3 euros. Cospa is wonderful in Berlin where the accommodation fee is high.
The hotel is located on the luxury street of Berlin. There are various big-name and traditional German brands, as well as general department stores such as Kadiwei, and also direct stores of Apple and Tesla. Shopping is very good. Go to Charlotten. The Fort Palace is also very close, but the facilities are a bit old.
Stayed in a Junior Suite. Room was large and extremely clean. Two large doors to let lots of air in. Only thing that disappointed me was it says its a room with a balcony however there is no actual outside space, the doors open and there is a bar directly at the doors and only one chair in the room so no way for us both to sit there. Bed was so comfortable and great pillows! The blue nightlight option was beautiful. Bathroom was fab! Shower was amazing, didn't want to get out!! Floor in the bathroom is heated. Wi-fi is decent but keeps signing you out so don't lose the piece of paper with your codes on it. Cleaners were fantastic, changed our towels & bed daily and fresh glasses & cups. Ate one night in the restaurant on the rooftop and the food was beautiful. Then sat on the rooftop lounge outside with a drink and the view and lights were beautiful. Location is great... Two underground stations both within a 2 minute walk. I would recommend to get a welcome card if travelling a lot as it covers underground, trains and busses. We would have spent 3 times the amount we paid for the 4 day card and also covers from airport if you buy zones a,b&c Staff were very friendly throughout our stay. Would have given 5 stars if I had of known in advance there was no actual balcony but was one of the main reasons I booked as my partner doesn't drink and our plan was to sit out there at night where I could enjoy a few glasses and he doesn't have to be in a bar. But overall had a lovely stay. My pictures don't do the room justice but just to give an idea.
The location of this hotel is good. There are two Chinese restaurants nearby. Go right and turn left. The first owner of the restaurant called Green Restaurant is more enthusiastic. The front one seems to be Cantonese. KADEWE Shopping The mall is about 10 minutes walk away; it needs to be emphasized: the hotel room is small, Wifi can only connect one device at a time, the speed is normal, the room just entered the moldy smell, originally wanted to change the room, the next day tastes slightly Better; convenient transportation, a few hundred meters in the vicinity is U BUS station or 100/200 station; next time it is estimated that this hotel will not live, because of the taste of the room, wifi, and cost. If there is no special requirement for taste and WiFi, this location hotel is worth considering.
Great traditional European hotel Hygienic negligence Improved with complaints and apologize promptly to remedy. Unique geographical location, historical heritage, is the legendary name of the hotel industry, the only.
If you spend the night in this city, it's a great hotel. The location is very good, the surroundings are very quiet, and there are very good restaurants nearby. If you had stayed here, you would not have chosen another hotel.
Good location, small rooms but basic facilities and clean. It is convenient to travel, there are many attractions around, and the airport is about 26 Euros. The room booked did not include breakfast, but there was a buffet on the first floor, 12 euros for one person. To experience the local breakfast in Berlin, we chose to go out and have breakfast in the bakery. The hotel helps to make a reservation for a taxi and needs to pay for the service. The actual taxi at the entrance of the hotel is not difficult to call. When leaving the hotel, it is a black taxi. It feels like being bypassed.
A great hotel in a central location. The breakfast was great, although the atmosphere was pretty noisy taking into account the huge number of people staying at the hotel. The only disadvantage is that for parking I was not able simply to drive into the parking garage, although it says that no prior reservation is needed, so I suppose I had to call the hotel in advance and tell them I'm coming with a car. So I would advise Ctrip to update this part of the information. Nevertheless, if you want to pay 10€ instead of the 22€ a day for parking in the hotel's parking garage, you can consider the parking area at Gleisdreieck, which is around 5 minutes on foot from the hotel.
Excellent hotel in a beautiful building and lovely location. our room had a wonderful view on Tiergarten which was peaceful. the service was excellent, everybody (front desk, concierge, waiters at breakfast, barmen) was extremely helpful and friendly. special thanks to the two very lovely young men at the bar. also, the breakfast menu is fantastic. every product was fresh, tasteful and high quality. the rooms, although a bit too small for this level of hotel, are beautiful and very well furnished and equipped. beautiful bathroom. I would strongly recommend this hotel and come back with pleasure.
The service staff is very enthusiastic. Very clean. The hotel room is small but already prepared. The soundproofing is too bad, the movements in the hallway are clear and clear, and the walls of other rooms will be vibrated. I was scared at night. The mattress didn't seem to breathe, and it was very hot to sleep on, and didn't sleep well at night. Air conditioning is either too cold or too hot to master. I felt that the price was good before I checked in, but I really didn't rest well.
We spent 3 days at Gorki last week, slightly early Valentine’s trip. We love it as it’s just easy here, spacious apartment, clean, modern, great location and in one of the best cities in world! We cooked one day and ate out the rest of the time. With so many bars and restaurants within walking distance, you are spoilt for choice! Regarding the review below, not sure what that’s about, we’ve never had any issues, hence our third visit and not our last. Also, we just loaded the dishwasher ourself, we didn’t need the room attendant to do it! Love the personal service too, when we booked our visit, Constance messaged me the list of rooms to choose from, from the category we had booked. This was great as each apartment is different, no 2 are exactly the same. We are working our away across the different categories :) We asked for a late check out and were told it was €50, we declined that, but we were able to stay in the room until 1pm. We’ll be back in the summer, see you then!
The hotel close to city center and to railway station lies in a perfect location, offers valet service for parking! the personnel is extremely friendly, helpful and professionally working. I got a quiet room with zircon, which is necessary on hot days in German summer. Breakfast was fine!
This place is clearly a Five Star Plus Hotel, and for a comparably low price!
Before I comment the hotel, I would really like to mention the Receptionist Mo!! He was at the check in when I got there, and immediately saw his positive energy and vibe and at the same time professionalism, which is very important as it’s the first impression when you step in the hotel. He also speaks couple of foreign languages such as Russian, English, Italian, German... I am working as a GM of Korcula Hill Resort in Croatia, and I have to say that every hotel should have at least one Mo!!! Very smart and polite guy, and really hope he will be soon upgraded to a higher position in the company as I’m sure he’s capable of managing more complexed stuff, situations and business decisions. Amazing guy!! Also, another young receptionist Ane, I loved talking to her on Spanish and we laughed a lot during my stay. Very cool persona and her English, is just brilliant with nice accent! As A Moxy lover, I have to say that this Hotel, again, was very modern, cool, funky, colors and decoration everywhere, the Vespa at the entrance... Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the view not bad at all. Water pressure in the shower was perfect! Breakfast was good too. The location is great, only 300m to the S Bahn/U Bahn lines, very good connection with the city and Tegel Airport. I believe the Gym is great as well, it must be a stunning view at the area around the hotel... If you want a 5 star service and you don’t want to pay the fortune for it, book immediately this hotel!
We had two rooms for four days. My darling bride and I were in the ”Wine Room” (518) with vineyard themed decor and a lovely balcony that overlooked a large courtyard. My daughter and her partner were in a larger room (511) with room for all four of us to plan the next day. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were cleaned everyday. What more could you ask for in a hotel?
Trafficwise the hotel is a gem. Berlin was for me always a great city with lots of public transport issues. Even if you are located right next to a subway or S-Bahnhof it could take you hours to get somewhere else in the city. However here, you can just walk to the Hbf with ICE connection and go everywhere in the city within 45min. Everything else just fine. Typical motel one. Breakfast could be a little richer.
The hotel is in a good location, very close to the Brandenburg Gate and the Museum Island, within walking distance of the main train station and two metro stations. The booked suite was large and the environment was very good. When the hotel learned that we were three adults, we quickly added a bed to us and praised their professional and quality service!
The bright lights were the two very friendly guys, one slim German (?) at the reception, another bearded German (?) in the bar/restaurant area. The rest (mostly Spanish teenagers it seems) were obnoxious, pulling the plates from under your nose while you are still eating, walking around with a sour face like they own the place (and you should get out of their way). The arrogance we encountered upon our arrival and throughout our stay from the young ladies at the reception was revolting; putting this kind of people at the desk is a fail. Especially because I had to get at least ten times to the reception to activate the cards of our three rooms. They said it was because of proximity to our cell phones, but at least three times our phones were in the (locked) room …. Also one safe was blocked (battery dead, happens, but again making us face those ladies’ utter arrogance). We had three rooms. The cleaning people entered each room while we were still in bed (around 9am each time), in spite of the marker … they tried on other mornings but the door was closed, still quite unnerving to hear someone attempting to get in. Also some older women came to check out the service, just walking in asking if everything is ok… fawlty towers if you are old enough. Our rooms didn’t get cleaned every day, which you simply expect in a 4*, forcing us at some point to go and face the ladies at the reception to beg for towels, because they don’t pick up the phone. We got a commercial geste but rather had had a smooth stay without having to get things fixed or face unfriendliness all the time. I stayed in Melia hotels and this does not live up the chain’s standard. As you will see from my other reviews, I am a positive and constructive traveler. Positive points: location close to the metro; the gin and tonic; the breakfast buffet was very fine, managed by the friendly bearded guy; the slim guy at the reception desk helping us out. They lifted the place up (where the others seriously pulled it down, unfortunately).
