I have been staying here At the Residence Inn multiple times a month over the past few months and I love it. The staff is outstanding from Dominique(sp) to Destiny And all around. I have to give a BIG thank you and show appreciation to the Front Office Manager Shermeen Lasdon who is behind all the great staff. My interaction with her was very pleasant and professional. She’s welcoming and makes you feel like home. She’s a great asset to the hotel! Thank you for everyone’s great service. I also would like to thank the GM for staying on top of things. Although it is a river that is separated from the core of the Washington Monument, it is very close, because the city of Washington, DC is not big. It is a uber during the off-peak hours in the morning, more than 8 knives to the White House, and it is more convenient to go to the Pentagon from the hotel. . The front desk service was very good. I booked a big bed room for myself and my friends. The beautiful woman at the front desk saw my friend with two children and took the initiative to give her a twin room. Each bed was about 1.5 meters. I only got into the room to know. Breakfast is very rich in the American style. Parking is 32 per day, which is much cheaper than the parking fee of the hotel in the White House. It is 24 hours a day from the time of check-in, which is very reasonable and human.

Warning: Don’t believe Marriott’s phone booking line. They are not operating on current info from the hotel. I was offered and promised many things as part of the upgrade pkg I paid for. The hotel appears to be operating on a skeleton crew, which means NO ROOM SERVICE, and FEW AMENITIES, EVEN WHEN YOU PAY FOR THEM. The Manager on duty just said “Sorry, you shouldn’t have been able to purchase that.” But are the managers contacting corporate to update their own Marriott reservation line? The only reason I didn’t book through a discount 3rd party was to ENSURE I WAS GETTING THE BEST POSSIBLE ROOM! SO WHAT IS THE POINT OF DEALING DIRECTLY WITH THE HOTEL if they just send you to a generic hotline with no current info? Promised/ Paid for: a view of the National Capital / Mall / a room on the highest available floor. Received: 7th of 12+ floors, a nice view of Georgetown and Potomac River. A dangerous, sweaty 15 min walk across 2 highways to watch July 4 fireworks in an overgrown field next to the interstate. Promised/Paid For: bottle of bubbly, choc cov strawberries, and 2 “American” breakfasts Received: a $50 discount, a bottle of bubbly, 2 choc bars, and a business card on which the Mgr wrote “2 Comp grab and go breakfast sandwiches.” All of this was abruptly handed to me with no tray, so I had to juggle the stuff and open doors with my elbows and feet. This was after being asked to wait in the hallway (10 mins) while I was already running late. I had to make an extra trip to the front desk because the desk worker who checked me in DIDN’T MENTION ANY OF MY PAID UPGRADES. He simply had me sign the papers, handed me my key cards, and said the cafe was only open for a few hours in the morning for pre wrapped grab and go. Promised / Paid for: 4 Pm late check out Received: Locked out of hotel room at noon because our key cards were deactivated, and yet another extra, unceremonious and barely polite visit to the desk. Promised: The hotel key cards and table-top advertisements in rooms say “ALL LE MERIDIEN HOTELS ARE FEATURING MALIN AND GOETZ NEW SPECIALTY FRAGRANCE”. Received: “Eco Hair and Body”. NO Malin +Goetz, THE STAFF HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT IT OR WHY THEY HAVE ADS FOR IT! Also: The hotel sign is not really visible for drivers, just the unrelated name of the building. Blink or drive faster than 5 miles an hour and you’ll miss it. It’s a hassle getting from the building’s confusing, crowded parking garage to hotel rooms. 3 separate elevator banks from ground floor/garage to your room with walks in between. Only half the hotel elevators are for hotel guests, good look not frequently trying to hail the wrong ones. The others require keys for the condo owners because the hotel is one of many occupants. The staff had no clue about which spaces are available for hotel guests since most spaces are marked RESERVED, Towing Enforced. You will not locate parking on the same floor as the hotel e

Breakfast is good, as shown in the picture, I have no breakfast for three consecutive days. There is a kitchen. The hotel has parking and is close to the Court House (Blue Line, Silver Line) subway station. There are buses, 38b, 61a, etc. above the subway station. At the Arlington Cemetery Station you can also walk across the river to reach the Lincoln Memorial. The center recommends at least two full days, one day on Capitol Hill, the Library of Congress, and walk down to visit the favorite museum. The next day walk from the Arlington Cemetery across the river to the Lincoln Memorial, the Monument, the White House, and continue the museum. In short, it is all about walking.

We got a great view out of our windows. The room was spacious and came with kitchen supplies needed if cooking something in the rooms. Our room smelled a little fishy though which was quite irritating. The basic room temperatures around the hotel is at 75 degrees but they have a little control by the door you can maneuver to turn the fan on and make it either colder or hotter for the room. Once you turn it off, it goes back to the hotel's temperature. The fan blew a bit of dust, I discovered, as I woke up to a dusty nightstand after leaving the fan on overnight so I hope they clean off the filters next time or the air ducts. The room came equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap as well. On the sink, there is a bar soap and a small lotion bottle. You can ask the front desk for toothbrushes, if they had any, and it apparently was complimentary so they gave us some right there. Shower pressure was adequate and temperature was good as well. Toilet pressure could be better. The hotel was also right by the courtyard where there's a FedEx directly out of one of the exits, a few restaurants you can eat at, a dry cleaning service, a small convenience store, and a salon. These direct amenities outside the hotel made the experience worthwhile as it was convenient if we wanted to stay in the hotel room for a break instead of wandering around the city. A little walk would also get you to bars around the area, Whole Foods Market, and a few more restaurants and cafes. I love this location! Parking was also skimpy so it was a good thing I had a compact vehicle. The little area you can park at in front of the hotel to check-in was minimal. I wish it was wider and had a lot more space. The gym only had a few equipments but not a lot of people use it either so it was understandable. The pool area can get crowded during the weekends when families take a short vacation but during the weekdays when they all clear out, there's barely anyone in the area. The only downside about that is it opens at 5pm-10pm during the weekdays and 10am-10pm during the weekends. There is also a lifeguard on duty everytime it's open which is a bit weird as I haven't seen a hotel do that before but it is for the comfort for those who have kids or if there's an accident that happen. The breakfast was decent. They change out two meat selections everyday but the rest doesn't change. They have two waffle makers. People are usually in line for it on peak days and hours during breakfast. They have at least 3-4 choices of cereals too. They have a few pastries and bread, toaster on the side. Yogurt selections and a few fruits to eat. Hard boiled eggs, scrambled egg, and egg whites are also available which I loved. You can also make your own wrap and they have a few condiments for it on the side. Also, during Tuesday nights, they have free dinner from 6pm-7pm which they usually have posted by the elevator. They serve wine that night too. All-in-all, my experience was superb! The location

I came to Arlington for a farewell dinner for one of my friends in the military. I picked this hotel because it was near the venue and had great military rates. From the moment I walked in I was impressed. It’s a nice hotel, but what really caught my attention was the staff and how friendly they were! The staff at the front desk instantly made me feel at home. The hotel had COVID-19 measures in place so you feel totally safe and clean. I was in room 540. It was a very nice size. I had a view of the city. The room was very clean and updated. There is a parking garage attached to the hotel where you can park your car ($20/night with and in and out privileges). It’s very clean. There is a Starbucks, barbershop, and other small restaurants in the same building as this hotel. The hotel is also across from a metro station that can get you to DC in no time. If you want to drive, it’s maybe 15 mins away (I didn’t have any traffic issues). Their room service is down do to COVID, however you are within walking distance of many restaurants that are open. I typically prefer Marriott hotels, but I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.

1. Hotel health is good, service is general, probably because there are too many Chinese to travel to Washington, the front desk here is not very friendly to Chinese. 2. There is parking lot, 25/night, parking is safe. 3. The hotel is in a good location, not far from the subway and the Pentagon shopping center. More than 800 meters from the hotel, there are whole foods, you can buy fruit bread and daily necessities, there are also box lunches, American-style BBQ, chicken rice, French fries, etc., also have Chinese-style sesame chicken, vegetables, etc., 8.99 kn / lb, feel still Not bad. 4. You can take the subway by travel. However, I am self-driving, recommend the best parking APP, reserve the garage near the attraction in advance, and stop all day long from morning to night. I usually choose the price of 10-20 knives, which is very convenient.

The hotel is located near the Crystal City subway station, about five minutes walk. The hotel has a shuttle bus to the airport every half an hour, which is very convenient. The room is large and clean. The air conditioner in the room turned on too loudly. I don’t know if I didn’t adjust it myself. When booking, pay attention to whether there is a charge for Wi-Fi in the room. We believe that Wi-Fi must be free according to the usual practice. When we checked out, we found that the charge for using Wi-Fi was deducted. At the hotel booked by Ctrip, we immediately contacted Ctrip customer service, and Ctrip immediately returned the money to us in the form of a gift package. Thank you very much for the excellent service of Ctrip.com. For many years, I have chosen to book airline tickets and hotels with Ctrip, and I will continue to choose in the future.

The view is very good, you can see the airport, subway and railway, as well as Capitol Hill in the distance. Convenient transportation, there is a free shuttle bus to the airport. The restaurant tasted very good. The place where we ate 7 meals in the restaurant for three nights was that the elevator always had a weird smell of rotten leaves. We had to hold our breath in and out. No improvement during the stay and the room cleaning was sloppy.

We had two stays here in August while preparing for a move. It’s a good hotel for longer stays because you get a kitchen. Not a great kitchen but met our needs. We had two different rooms, both were studios with small yet noticeable differences. The bathroom in the first had an odd design. The shower door opened to the right making it awkward to get out. Second room it opened to the left. Both showers you had to be inside of to turn on, which was not the best design. Neither dishwasher worked well so just wash things by hand. You’ll have to bring your own dish soap. There are many restaurants nearby if you prefer not to cook. We really enjoyed the Sweetleaf, Lebanese Taverna, and Rustico. Plenty of options. The AC was the hero of our stay. The 90+ degree heat outside was not an issue with their superstar AC. The pool was closed because of COVID but the gym was open. Small but enough for cardio and some free weight lifting. Staff were all fantastic. Friendly and helpful. Parking was $22 a night. Good thing work covered the cost because it added up quickly. The tiny business center had problems. Scanner didn’t work and copies weren’t very clear. Better to use the FedEx store down the street.

The hotel did not sprinkle, there is a shuttle bus to the subway station. Easy to enter the city. It’s just that the pick-up is not so reliable. I waited for an hour in the terminal building. I just started calling and said that I would come in 20 minutes. I have been waiting until I have been there. Then I called the master on the road. When did I know? . Finally waited for more than an hour, the front desk phone directly missed. Finally, I had to hit the hotel myself. In fact, the hotel is very close to the airport.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Arlington / Shirlington during a week of bicycling in the Washington DC area and could not have been happier. The property and staff were fantastic, but what we liked most about it was the location! Utilizing the Four Mile Run Bike Trail, which is literally just across the street from the hotel, we were able to connect to the vast DC network of stand alone bike paths that led us to Mount Vernon, the National Mall, Reagan Airport, the National Zoo, and west into the quaint suburbs of Falls Church, Vienna, and Reston. In the evening, we simply walked out the front door of the hotel and had a number of great restaurants mere steps away. Everything was so accessible that we didn't need a car for the entire time. If you have ever wanted to bicycle the Washington DC area, which I highly recommend, you should definitely consider the Hilton Garden Inn Arlington / Shirlington as the base for your adventure.
