My husband and I stayed here April 2022. We enjoyed our stay but before coming back and paying over $1k per night here we will wait until it is renovated. The property badly needs renovation, specifically the rooms, hallways and pools. PROS- the food at State Fare was tasty, the main restaurant. The exterior, lobby, and most of the outdoor common areas are well kept. Highly recommend getting a room with a fire pit. The views from the rooms are very nice if you get an outward facing room. Having an adults only pool was very nice. Chevelle (I believe her name was?) gave excellent service there. Nice but small gym. CONS- other than the pool attendant, service was horrible, very slow and not on par with a Ritz property. I chalk this up to COVID but they didn’t seem understaffed. Have to echo other reviewers here…The pools need to be refinished and the rooms are very very tired. Not worth the price. There was actually some sort of spatter stains on the underside of our dresser handles my husband noticed while doing sit-ups that made us look at the bed skirt and there were spatters of whatever on there too. Dusty. The hotel clearly caters to those they designate as VIPs- when I was walking to breakfast one morning, one of the cleaning staff had dropped a sticky note that read “VIP room numbers” with about 5 rooms on it. Maybe the service is better for those folks. I had to laugh when I saw that but not surprised. Surely the management knows this property is in need of major upgrade, they should have taken advantage of the slow COVID period to do that. We would consider coming back when it is upgraded for the price and service.

One would think the location is perfect, unless you know that Motel 6 's are NEVER in a good location...A homeless man sat on the stairs outside my room and shouted for hours... Since I had to work the next day I was concerned and called the manager for help. She refused to intervene and said she could call the police...then she added.... "They will bang on my door at 2 in the do you want that?" Sounded like she was threatening me that calling the cops was worse than putting up with it. I was shocked at how I was treated like the" undesirable tenant " even though I was paying good money to stay there! They really need a rent a cop to just patrol the area so that guests are not forced to confront problems themselves. As a female I am really uncomfortable at MOTEL 6 and incensed at the rip off rates! These hotel rooms have terrible AC systems and old bathrooms. Not really that clean. I hate Motel 6 and unfortunately have to stay there for business.

My team of eight and I were in town for a conference. We booked everything a bit late - 30 days before the event. In our research of hotels, we discovered The Saguaro hotel - and the price was right for our budget. I have to admit that I had my concerns. Upon arrival, my team and I were plesantly surprised! As we walked into the lobby, there was a collective "this is different." Once we got to our rooms, everyone began texting "What color is your room?" It was hilarious! We all loved the quirkiness of the place. Not your usual hotel for sure. My room looked right out at the pool area with a deck and seating for two, which was beautiful. We stayed three nights. The location to a mall and other stores was perfect. The entire team also had lunch at the hotel restaurant El Jefe. The food was good and the staff was very accommodating. Would I stay at The Saguaro again? Absolutely!

Beautiful hotel. We were upgraded to the King Suite with two large couch areas, so it could probably sleep 4 people! The swimming pool was incredible. Great DJs playing, and an incredible vibe with so many young people lounging by the pool.

Hilton's service was really good. The front desk woman had a bad attitude. She lied to him with millions of disgusted expressions. I asked the hotel if I could change the double bed and told me to increase the price. I booked a landscape room and gave me a room on the road. Although Ctrip had a little money back, the poor receptionist called and asked why she complained? Lie and say we are going to change our twin bed for free, we give up ourselves. Hilton has encountered bad reception many times, and his friendliness is 108,000 miles behind Marriott. In the future, he will still live less in Hilton and can only rely on low prices to attract customers.
