1.16km from Bayreuth EichendorffringThe hotel is located on a very attractive street in Bayreuth, a few steps from the stunning Margravial opera house, which is open for public tours. The hotel itself is a grand, traditional stone building. The interiors in the hallway, landing and restaurant/breakfast rooms all retain their vintage appearance, with beautiful wood panelling, antique furnishings and references to famous former guests of the hotel. The hotel has been run by the same family for generations. The owner and staff give a very personal and attentive service, and take pride in the hotel and its history. We even received a lovely birthday gift on behalf of the hotel during our stay. The breakfasts are cooked freshly to order. The evening meal menu was very flexible in adjusting to our needs and we enjoyed meeting the chef to discuss our order. Both the breakfast room and restaurant are lovely and charming rooms. Our bedroom was a good size. We very much liked the traditional and colourful furnishings and fabrics. The hotel feels very much a part of Bayreuth and the town's identity.
