We had a suite and a regular room, and both were clean and well-stocked. The main pool and the glass-bottom rooftop pool were both amazing. I felt safe and in the middle of things, but I also got great rest. Can’t wait to visit Miami and The Gabriel again!

Lovely first impression to arrive there after a long flight, look at the sea and enjoy some of the bottle of champagne which had been left on ice as a welcome gift! The dishes on the breakfast buffet in Jaya were plentiful and would have been delicious but unfortunately stone cold which seemed a shame. We took a la carte after the first morning which was much better. Extremely loud music at dinner in Jaya meant we couldn’t have a conversation so had to move inside, which again was a shame, though by chance we had a good view of the live show which we hadn’t been expecting! You can walk for miles along a boardwalk just back from the beach.

There is a continental breakfast included and a little outdoor pool that my husband and 3yo son enjoyed. The poor area has many large iguanas living in it, which were interesting to see. There was a misunderstanding about room type. We booked through Jet Blue Vacations- the room we selected was ”Luxury Double-1 King Bed”... they should fix this as it's contradictory! We got downgraded from a city view to a wall view but we didn't spend much time in the hotel so it didn't matter. There was a questionable-looking bug in the first room we were assigned so Marcela moved us to the next. My biggest concern is that the hotel is rated 4-stars on several sights. It's definitely a solid 3-star: small, old, and pretty run down. We enjoyed it regardless.

First time in Faena but for sure not the last, very warm welcome and smooth check in. I went downstairs to explore, and for a quick breakfast and our waitress, Diana, was extremely welcoming and accommodating; we had a beautiful table with pool views, and Diana gave us very good recommendations. Service was perfect, she is charming. Very nice staff with a good vibe, all around. We are DEFINITELY coming back !!! Thank you Faena team for a memorable stay !!!!

|0.82km from city centerYou can't beat the location - 12th and Collins, within walking distance of amazing restaurants and shopping, not to mention 1 block from the beach just around the corner. The staff was nice and friendly, and I was especially grateful for the stash of sunblock they had behind the desk (my stay was short so I was grateful to be able to borrow a bottle for the day). They also allow you to borrow beach towels. The hotel is no frills but clean with a very charming decor. In this COVID world there was some slight wear and tear, but nothing that would deter me from staying there again. I personally didn't go to Miami to sit around my hotel all day :). There's only 17 rooms or so across two floors and there is no elevator, so be sure to ask for the ground floor if you have an issue with stairs. Also, probably due to staff shortages, there was no one on site at the Impala. If you needed anything, you had to go next door to the Flora where the main desk was (e.g., extra coffee for the machine in the morning, check-in/check-out). But, like I said... we're still in COVID, plus it's a bit off-season. Not sure if it's like that year-round. I enjoyed myself - would stay again. Special shoutout to John and Carlos for their smiles and hospitality :).

It takes 20 minutes by taxi to see Little Havana, Little Haiti and Designer Street. We arrived early, and the lady at the front desk helped us store our luggage first, and we went out to play. In the past few days when I arrived at the hotel, I caught up with the extreme cold that has never happened in a century, so I didn't use the beautiful swimming pool on the top floor! Remember to ask the front desk about their free beach umbrellas and beach yoga on Saturday mornings! The gym needs to use another sister hotel, 20 knives a time. There are also problems in the hotel. After we checked in, we found that the TV was broken and couldn't be repaired at all. Thinking about it, we don't watch TV very much, so we didn't change the room (there is no room to change, the store is full!). The service attitude of the staff is very good and professional.

We do not agree. After many communications, we adjusted to a front. Although the sea can be seen, the windows cannot be opened. A room on the 15th floor with a side balcony. Although the room is large, it is very old and has been upgraded for us. We do not need to upgrade the large room, we only need to have a balcony room with sea view according to the booking conditions. The waiter means no, because the fee has been paid in advance and cannot be refunded. It is night, and there is no other way. This large room without a front balcony has a sea view and does not match the booking conditions. I feel very uncomfortable! Communication is difficult due to the lack of language, as if cheated! The location is excellent and in walking distance to Espanola Way and Lincoln Road and the complementary bicycles were a treat to ride on the across the street boardwalk. The hotel also offers complimentary beach chairs through a vendor on the beach (umbrellas are extra)! As this is a re- modeled art deco hotel, the rooms are small and we had no view but for the one night it was a pleasurable visit.

|0.18km from city centerI feel the need to contribute an honest and transparent review. I booked my stay at Greenview - WEEKS PRIOR to falling upon the Tripadvisor reviews for this hotel. I read these overwhelming reviews days before checking in and they had me scared that I was walking myself into a nightmare stay. I decided to make my own mind and stay anyway - and I am glad I did. Upon arrival on a Tuesday morning (10am), the check in staff member was VERY nice and immediately took my bags to hold. March is a busy month in South Beach, so I didn't expect to have a room that early so I planned to do work in the lobby or a coffee shop. This hotel is located right off the Lincoln road mall so I actually decided to post at one of the nearby Starbucks locations. By the time my work was finished it was 2pm and I walked back to the hotel to check on the status of an early check in - and to my surprised my room was ready. I was on second level, #204 - the check in staff ensured I was in a room away from the nearby construction. I held my breath as I walked into my room - and to my great surprise, it was great. The floors are wood, the AC unit was working (blowing cold) and looked fairly new. I don't like cold, so I turned my unit off and didn't need to turn it on the entire stay. The room was like the picture of 2 full beds, same colors on the wall (green/teal). It is a little dim at night - but there was plenty of light and light fixtures to turn on. There was a nice flat screen tv with cable channels. The window was nice and large with a black out blind and sheer curtains. The black out blinds actually caused me to sleep so well the first night I woke up late! The bed is very comfortable, I had plenty of clean linens and pillows. The room was spacious, there was a separate small walk in closet with plenty of shelving, and hanger space as well as a personal safe. The room had a desk, chair and a small fridge. Bathroom was adequate with a spacious step in shower. I had plenty of towels in the bathroom as well as back stocked in the closet. The amenities were premium. Overall the room was clean, spacious, comfortable and equipped. It did not smell - this was my greatest fear from these bad review - as I have an acute sense of smell. I did not have or see any bugs at any time during my stay. Actually, the cleaning staff were ALWAYS working. I woke very early on days to run and so I was in and out the room a lot and I witnessed the cleaning staff constantly cleaning & servicing neighboring rooms. Now was the room and hotel BRAND NEW AND PRISTINE?? There are scratches on the wood flooring, wall paint and furniture - but scratches isn't filth. The tiles in the bathroom aren't brand new - they look to be original to the old construction of the building...but again, cracks and not being new, doesn't mean it's filthy just older. |1.27km from city centerI would not recommend this place, I repeat I would not recommend this place no matter the cheap prices, it’s a crappy and unkept the rooms are like bunk beds, bed bugs on the sheets , cockroaches all over, the batheroom is disgusting and unkept no matter how good it looks in the pictures, it’s all a decoy, do not book!!!!!!!!! , stop and dnt books this dump at any cause, they dnt give a crap about the situation we had with multiple private rooms with ****tty batheroom and bed bugs all over, I’m literally disguised they dnt have to refund our money we were forced to leave at 5am because of the situation and when we asked the front desk staff to go check he refused, no help at all, we were told the manager doesn’t come till 11am , but this point we didn’t want to even stay in this dumpster hotel, this isn’t a family place at all, it’s the very unpleasant I repeat it’s very unpleasant so pay your money and stay in comfort and relaxation , the shower was a whole other situation with that, people literally walk in and out whenever they feel I like, screw each other and leave and you can hear that through there thin walls, I regret booking this place for spring break, waste of money and time. For sure I’m reporting them cause I can’t believe a hotel like this does this kind of unhealthy business at this moment I’m just saying what I feel, so please dnt book this, take my word for it, 100 percent.

The flooring, furniture, etc. and it has an old Otis elevator that you have to manually open and close which I thought was so cool. It also comes with great perks like beach chair rental, bike rental, credit toward the restaurant, bottled water, and glasses of wine.

|0.15km from city centerIf you are looking for a location i the middle of Miami, this hostel is the best. 5 mins walking to the Beach and 5 mins walking to the malls and restaurants. The place is very much packed with solo travelers, the price is good. Hot water all the time, AC in the rooms, very clean bathroom and rooms. The Kitchen is pretty small for the huge number of the guests. but clean and practical. Cameras are everywhere. They have a seating indoors and outdoors. I would come again, but maybe book a double room, instead of sharing, because of the number of the guests. No privacy at all. But other than that its very practical - 20mins away from the airport. I would add one important thing - which is the Language Barrier. Mainly they speak Spanish, so keep that in mind, and come prepared. Summary, the hostel was very practical and i would come again .

We were checked in by Dewayne and he checked with his manager Roberto and he allowed us to do an early check in. That was very nice and convenient for me and my family. Small pool and a nice restaurant in the premises. Good food and nice service. Rooms very clean and a very affordable price. We got 2 rooms to accomodate us. We will be back. Thank you guys. Good job.
