We stayed 1 night in room 30. Lady on phone didn't tell us we would be walking up to 3rd level, NO LIFTS, beware of this, Room small, for what it was and so much stuff, furniture, shelving, nik naks, etc so clutted. Take half the stuff out and it would make the room so much bigger. The smell of garlic and other smells wafted thru from the restaurant below. NO BALCONY. The view from room 30, luckily the rooftop restaurant / cafe / nightclub wasn't open as this room looks directly down onto it. This is what the view is, oh yes, if you look up you will see the lovely blue sea, but this view is spoilt by this big concrete slab right in front of the room. The chairs have been blown over by the wind I presume or maybe that's how they store them, a mess to look at, you get no choice. The restaurant below this was open, for both lunch and dinner, and the noise from that on a Sunday night is bad, live music seemed to stop around 9.30pm, but people still talking loud till at least 10pm, you can hear every word the staff are saying whilst they are cleaning up, they obviously don't realise noise travels. Would hate to stay there on a Saturday night, would be even later and the live band, well say no more. If your looking for a quiet place to stay, this is NOT it. For the price paid for this so called resort, it's not worth it. There are plenty of others to choose from nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay at Beaches on Lammermoor, right across the road from the beach with great walking tracks. We really preferred to stay at the beach compared to the town area. We stayed in Apartment 22 and what a beautiful apartment, we were on the 4 th floor and had a great view of the water. The apartment was very comfortable , spacious and well furnished , the kitchen has everything we needed. There is aircond in the living area and the bedroom, we found the aircond a bit noisy but it kept the apartment cool. You also get a wonderful breeze off the water. The bathroom had a shower that was nice and hot with beautiful toiletries and a spa bath. If you like entertaining , the balcony is huge with a large table with 6 chairs. We didn’t use the pool area but took a walk around the area, the pool was clean with sun lounges , it also has a room with a pool table, bbq and kitchen. Town was only a 10 mins drive away.

A lovely relaxed spot for families, couples or even if you’re flying solo. Nestled away in Cooee Bay with access to its own private beach! Three generations of my family have and still enjoy Blossom’s hospitality and Seaspray’s comfortable home-away-from-home vibe. Everything you need is here, but beware the ‘luxury’ hotel chain star chaser as Seaspray is not meant for you. Prices are very reasonable which encourages you to stay a little longer and enjoy all that the Capricorn Coast has to offer or zip up to Rockhampton if you are missing the hustle and bustle. Visit Upper Stony Creek, Emu Park, Nobb Creek Pottery and the national parks in amongst time on the beach. We like that it also has rooms that cater for all members of the family so we can stay and play together. AAA+++ PS I forgot to mention pretty handy to the Rosslyn Bay Fishermans Market! Yum!

BUILDING The Salt building is a modern lavish luxurious apartment block that have units that are owned individually and all managed by the Salt management. They do not really advertise it as a hotel but rather as holiday apartments. While they have a cafe and restrustants, they are seperately from the Salt. The building is easy to access and very close to nearby shops and the lagoon pool. APARTMENT The one bedroom apartment that I stayed in (404) was lovely, spacious, modern and well stocked but chairs are worn and torn. Shower needs a tray to hold soap, shampoo, etc. Other than that the apartment have been fantastic. Easy to access from the lifts. The ocean view is really only the northern part of the beaches and not the whole foreshore. But there is a walkway to each room behind the units that over looks the pools and to the south past the free lagoon (there are no units that over look the pools). POOL The pools are very unsafe. No hand rails to assist getting into the pools for which the steps under water is very deep. I struggled to get in and had to use nearby chairs as a helping brace. This was why I prefered to use the free lagoon pool down the road. Also the pools needs to be redesigned to give guests a chance to swim laps. How about moving the chairs to the other side near the building and the pool merged into one long pool along the back wall similar to the NEXT hotel in Brisbane which I stayed in. I have had an enjoyable stay at the apartment and will be happy to stay again in the future.

I try to keep my reviews fairly neutral but this place is faulty towers, Yeppoon. We booked 3 rooms. Apparently one of them had to be a skyline unit, not a Bayview twin like the other two due to availability. For this we paid an extra $60. When we checked in we were given three room keys. I asked which was the skyline unit and was told “there are 60 rooms in this hotel, I can’t be expected to know what each one is”. When I explained I wanted to know because we paid extra for a skyline unit he replied “well since you booked them why don’t you just duck your head in each one and see which one you like best!” Put out by the “customer service” I took my keys and went upstairs. All three rooms were the same. They had subtle differences (one had a larger fridge, but then another had a stove top?!) but nothing that would differentiate a “skyline unit” and since the hotel staff couldn’t tell me that either, I assume that’s because there really wasn’t any difference. That was the first problem. The place is dated, but that wasn’t such a big issue. The photos on their website are very misleading. The rooms don’t look anything like that aside from basic layout and colour of bed linen. One lift was out so you had to wait ages or take the stairs. Our room was not tended to once over 3 days despite leaving each morning for breakfast at 7 with a please make up the room sign on the door and not returning till the evening. On the second night I cracked it feeling very duped by the whole stay, when I had to go downstairs to get clean towels and I complained to rude reception guy again about what I paid extra for in the skyline unit since they were all the same? He blamed someone called Vic? Said vic picks the rooms, only vic can approve refunds and vic doesn’t like doing that because they hear this all the time. WHAT A SURPRISE. I asked for Vic to call me to discuss and was told no, Vic wouldn’t call me. I’d have to try and catch Vic! So here is my review instead. Maybe Vic might read my message? Some other things that make this hotel a complete dupe... No seating for 3 people even though the room states 3 person occupancy. Bathroom and floors filthy. Yet they ask you to clean your own cups etc to help them out? Out bathroom door had been replaced with some sort of home job bifold that didn’t really close and when it did you could see through the gap in the middle. It was hard to close and awkward to get around. Not what I would think belongs in a $180 a night hotel?? Considering you can stay at Rydges for that, it’s a very poor joke. Toilet had a “seal” that was just draped across the top of the toilet pretending to be sealed. I guess they reuse them. Oh and the third day we tried to use the pool but couldn’t because it was filthy and had a dead bird and feathers all through it. It had been that way for 3 days (other people staying mentioned this to us). Overall we’ll never go back. For $180 a night NOT including breakfast it’s overpriced

My husband & I stayed in a 1 bedroom spa apartment for 5 nights. The view was very beautiful. We could see right over Yeppoon, which was awesome at sundown & night time. We also looked out over the sea to the Keppel Islands. We were lucky enough to have spectacular weather. The balcony is quite small but adequate for 2 people. The mornings were lovely eating fresh mango while enjoying the warm weather & amazing view. The apartment itself was quite comfortable & had all the necessary equipment for our stay such as plenty of dishes, mugs & glasses. We did use the oven once & that was fine too. The sofa was okay but we did not use it much as we tended to use the balcony a lot more. We really enjoyed the lovely King size bed & slept very soundly. The whole complex was very quiet & peaceful. We appreciated it being smoke free too! The lady on reception was very friendly & helpful with tips on where to eat etc. I won’t go on about the hill as others have done - if you want the great view in an elevated position, then don’t complain about the hill! We just took our car into the town & back, no problem. Secure parking beneath was a real bonus. Although our room was showing some signs of aging, we really do recommend Oshen to others.

We stayed at Villa Mar Colina in beautiful Yeppoon for 2 nights. The first night we spent in a 3 room apartment with views over the ocean from our balcony. We enjoyed a meal made in the full equipped kitchen and in the morning we were able to take a dip in the infinity pool facing the ocean. The second night we got upgraded to the - Drumroll - PENTHOUSE. This place was the most incredible we´ve ever set foot in. First we were amazed by the size of the place, then we were amazed by the bluetiful views through every window we looked. And then we found a Jazucci to enjoy a cold bottle of sparkling wine in while watching the waves hit the ocean below us. The big terrace and the top floor is big enough for hosting a big party at - even though that probably isn't allowed. Before we checked out we couldn't resist setting the alarm at 4.30 to watch a spectacular sunrise show from our bed before we enjoyed a breakfast and wished we never had to check out. Big thanks to Glenys and Gavan, we would love to come back one day! Best Regards, Sofia and Fredrik VAGABONDS OF SWEDEN @vagabondsofsweden

Sail Inn is an older type motel but it is in good condition and is immaculately clean. It's conveniently located within comfortable walking distance to the Esplanade. Most importantly our queen size bed was very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. Most motel beds are rock hard or too saggy but this bed was just right. They do have king size beds but there was none available at that time. I would definitely stay here again.

I write reviews often, I travel often. And I have never experienced a stay as horrible as this. I beg you before you book here, to take a look at the negative reviews and see the theme. The owner of this establishment treats people in a truly awful way. I booked to stay here on Boxing Day 2019. I arrived late afternoon, checked in, and dropped my belongings in the room. I went out to meet friends, and I ended up spending the night staying at a friends place in town. Unfortunately I didn’t wake up until late the next day, after the hotels 10am check in. The owner emailed me saying my belongings had been removed from the room and I had been charged an additional $80 for a new key. I fully accept responsibility for this and was fine with the charge. I paid $170 for the room for the night plus the additional $80. When I arrived around 3pm with my 2 friends to collect my belongings, the owner was in quite a happy mood and said he actually didn’t care too much about the keys but he wanted the key hook on it back because he didn’t know where he had gotten it. I asked if I could have my $80 back because I returned the key. He laughed. I then asked for the sea horse key ring seeing as I had paid $80 for the keys. He obliged. Then when his staff member brought my belongings out, he dropped my 1L bottle of Bacardi which smashed all through my bag covering my clothes, hair straightener and dryer. I asked if I would receive compensation for the damage and he laughed at me and just said sorry. I also requested reimbursement through the company I booked with, and they said I needed to take this up with the hotel directly. The booking company asked for a review of my stay and I recounted this story and rated them a 4.6 out of 10 - facilities where very small but clean, customer service was questionable. The owner then replied to my review saying that the reason I was late back was because I was (and I’m not even joking- he said this all) arrested for public intoxication and public nuisance and I spent the night in jail and the next day in the watch house (I stayed at my friends house in Yeppoon). He then also said I rocked up drunk, which I didn’t and I have two friends who can confirm this. He then also went as far as to say that because of this he had me blacklisted from “several hotels in the area”. I then messaged the hotel a number of time asking how this was possible when this was my first trip to Yeppoon and I had never actually stayed in any other hotels. He didn’t reply to my messages and I threatened to pursue legal action because he was slandering my name and making false claims to have me banned from other venues. He didn’t reply to either of my 2 messages, although he read them both. He then blocked me. I then called him and he attempted to yell over the top of me that I left them a bad review and I deserved everything I got. Although when he realised I wouldn’t give in to his petty tactics he hung up on me. When I called back he said to

Great hotel. The staff is very nice and willing to help. The hotel is built on the hillside of the beach and is quiet. There is a golf cart transfer, which is very convenient. We had a fantastic time here in Noosa. It was our first time to visit this beautiful place and the weather started out great, before the welcomed rain towards the end of the week. This didn't impact our love of this natural wonder. We did some of the walks, ate at many of the restuarants and cafes on Hastings street and also nearby at the marina and Noosaville. The SEbel is perfectly located in such a central spot. Walk to Main beach, shops and Aroma cafe at your fingertips! The two bedroom unit we stayed in was fantastic, spacious well appointed, great kitchen and fridge was large enough for the 6 of us. The lift near us was handy to get street access and we were right near the bus bay, 2 min walk which was super conveinient. The only bugbear was the lift at the entrance which seemed to be broken for most of our stay - we used it a couple of times with elderly parents travelling with us. Staff were very helpful, rooms were cleaned efficiently and daily, we borrowed boardgames on rainy days, umbrellas and everyone was happy to accommodate. The pool was a big hit with the kids, they absolutely loved the water! Plenty of sun chairs were available and overall it was a great relaxing holiday! Will definitely be back!!

We stayed here as a family for 1 night in May 2019. The reception staff were very friendly, but it's interesting to note that reception closes at 2pm on a Saturday. I suspect the Noosa International is one of those resorts where each unit is individually owned at the resort manages the rentals on behalf of the owners. This means you take pot luck on how your room is decorated and furnished. Ours looked like it could do with a thorough renovation and tart up. As others have mentioned, the rooms are very basic and a bit dingy with low ceilings and bad lighting in the bathroom, which has no external windows. We had a small balcony overlooking the back pool with a great view along the Noosa River towards Noosaville. The resort is at the top of the hill between Noosa Heads and Noosa Junction. There's a walking track with steps that takes you to Hastings Street through the bushland, which is pleasant, but going uphill is not for the unfit! This wasn't any problem for us as we were there to go hiking in the National Park, but others may find it hard work. Another thing we had been looking forward to was spending the afternoon soaking in the spa. However, it was so hot we couldn't sit in it for more than a couple of minutes and came out looking like boiled lobsters. That was very disappointing - don't they know about he guidelines for spa use? It was way hotter than the recommended 36-37 degrees! In saying all this, we got a good price for the room, so I suppose we got what we paid for. I remember when the Noosa International used to be the height of sophistication and luxury (I'm talking the late-80s/early 90s here) but now it's very tired and hasn't kept up with accepted standards. Great place to base yourself for a budget trip to Noosa, but if you want a luxurious getaway, I'd give this one a miss.

FAIL! I booked this hotel for our anniversary getaway. I always do my research on hotels before I book anywhere, and Trip Advisor is one of the my key resources to get feedback. After seeing so many positive 4 and 5 star ratings from previous guests, I decided to book. I booked direct through the hotel website a few weeks ago, I booked a Deluxe 1 bedroom apartment. Arrived on 25/9 and not happy with what we were given, nothing like the reviews that lead me to book this hotel. This room is old, dated, dirty and needs work. Remember I said I booked a 1 bedroom deluxe apartment? You open the door you can see the bed, the spa bath and the couch. Sound like a bedroom when its all open? Fans are filthy, lights are dirty, the sliding bathroom door didn’t close, the patio door didn’t lock, the trim is coming away from the wall. That is not a Deluxe room. We are really angry. I spoke to reception to warn her that I had posted to Trip Advisor and to their facebook page, overhearing us was the maintenance manager. He came straight away to look at the bathroom door, he tried to slide the door and couldn’t budge it, because it was swollen and split. He said that the door needed to be replaced but couldn’t do it while we were there, which we weren’t expecting him to replace it with us there. He broke the guide off the door so that it was at least able to be closed. He managed to repair the lock on the patio door. He said that the hotel had been booked full for the last 8 weeks and nobody has mentioned these issues. I find it hard to believe that NOBODY told reception that the bathroom door couldn’t be closed! I’d be more apt to say that the room hasn’t been used in ages, OR, someone has complained and nothing was done. One or the other. I told the maintenance manager that we would be leaving a day early, the place is filthy, he told me to talk to the reception girls to see what they could do for us, but they couldn’t move us to another room because the hotel was fully booked with school holidays, another thing we knew. He told me that they could maybe give us an upgrade for the next visit, I told him there wouldn’t be another visit, he said “yes there will”….umm, NO there won’t. I gave them a chance, I don’t return to a place I write bad reviews on. You impress me the first time and I’ll return. This did not impress. I would never stay here again and would not recommend. If you decide to come here anyway, and they assign you room 201, tell them you want another room! There is no way 3 nights is worth the $711 for THIS room. Thanks for what was supposed to be a lovely anniversary weekend away and wasn’t! Only good point to this place - good amount of undercover parking and free wifi. THAT’S IT!

Location was great, right on the main high street, but not enough parking for us to park on site and the parking around was all restricted during the day. Our room was fine, good size for 2 of us and had a balcony so we could sit outside. But it could have been improved. Obvious efforts have been made to make it feel sweet and have a nice vibe. However, the floors were dirty, as was the toilet when we arrived. The shower door leaked and made the small bathroom very wet. There was only one wine glass for 2 guests, although they did give us another one from the bar downstairs. No one cleaned the room for the 3 nights we stayed. On the 3rd day someone changed some of our towels, but nothing else. No clean glasses, mugs or bathroom, even though all had clearly been used, pretty disappointing.

The location is good, the hotel is a bit old, very close to the beach and there are plenty of places to eat downstairs. Relative to the facilities, the price is a bit high, I don’t know if it’s late for me.

Saks is in a great location on Hastings Street, it’s much smaller than some of the other options and an older building, our apartment was a 2 bedroom, but downfall, they’re all one bathroom, one toilet, which is not great for a family of 5 with older teenage kids! There’s also no lift and car parking is downstairs. Staff are very friendly and accommodating though. Not sure I would stay here again as there’s better options on Hastings but for location and value for money I would recommend it.

We loved our stay at Noosa Springs. I did a bit of research beforehand and settled on Noosa Springs as I wanted an apartment close to Noosa but away from the holiday hordes. I was a little concerned by the reviews on this site saying that the apartments were tired/dated/dirty but they weren’t at all. I am a clean freak and it looked perfectly spotless and all surfaces were gleaming. We had a top floor unit with views of trees and golf course. Very peaceful and probably the only time I was ever able to sleep without earplugs on holiday! You will need a car if you stay here as it’s around 5-7 minutes drive from Hastings St. It’s not really family friendly, only one small pool with lap swimmers seeming to take ownership/priority, and one cafe/restaurant. Not much other than coffee available early morning; would like to see more options for us early birds. But the apartments are well equipped for a week’s self-catering stay with laundry, cooking utensils, decent sized fridge etc. All spotless. Will definitely return next time we’re in Noosa. Thank you.

If you want to fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach and be woken up by the delightful song of the birds in the morning, this is the place to stay! Just magical! Positioned perfectly right on the beach with Noosa Spit Recreation Reserve right next door to the complex, it's lovely and quiet with the perfect outlook. The complex, pool and BBQ area and grounds, are immaculately kept. Be aware there are NO LIFTS in this complex, stair access only to all apartments. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a Deluxe Beachfront Apartment (1 bedroom). Perfect for a couple! Very well equipped with all kitchen utensils and a great kitchen to cook in! Only thing we would like to point out is, if you are staying longer than a few nights, there are no laundry facilities in your apartment. There is a laundry provided downstairs for guests use. There is a clothes airer to dry beach towels, swimmers etc which we found really helpful. So close to all the amazing restaurants & bars on Hastings Street. Direct access to the walkways that take you on beachfront walks up to Noosa National Park where you can watch the surfers catching waves or just people watch whilst enjoying a coffee. We won't stay any where else. We left (begrudgingly, lol!) feeling relaxed and refreshed. Planning our next stay very soon!

Stayed at #2 Hastings Street recently ( Unit 14 ) with my elderly Mum ( age 88 ). The apartment was really lovely with an absolutely gorgeous view over the canal and backed by beautiful chipping birds . It’s so peaceful in Apartment 14 at the back of the building, you could just relax most of the day on the balcony and read , chat or watch the world go by. You can watch private boats , paddle boarders , kayakers , Noosa Ferry and even one or two electric hydrofoils pass by ..... both very relaxing and interesting. The apartment was very nice and well appointed, though the balcony wasn’t swept when we arrived and there was a very in your face cigarette butt stubbed out on the balcony. May have seemed petty but we reported it , plus the lamp in the second bedroom not working and whilst we were out the lady in the office removed the butt but still didn’t sweep or mop the balcony ( as there was ants and bird poo also on arrival ) . She also sorted the bedroom light which was not turned on at the PowerPoint , so an easy fix . Bar the balcony issue, I couldn’t fault it , other than a larger TV should be installed / is warranted for the price ( and there is only one in the unit ). The position for shopping and restaurants in Hastings street is fabulous and access to the beautiful beach or Noosa Woods for a walk are both right on the doorstep. We loved the visit so much I asked Mary in the office if we could extend a night and she was thoroughly helpful and sorted an extra midweek night for us - she was very nice and helpful ( different to the lady I reported the balcony to ) . Just be aware like most apartment blocks in Noosa there is no lift, which was not a problem for us and this is clear on the website. Thoroughly recommend this property and Mary in the office was very helpful, positive and professional.

We stayed 5 nights for a mini break. Reception staff so helpful and housekeeping perfect. We have stayed in a few places lately that have used Covid as an excuse not to properly service. Everything was 10/10 here, property glowing, plenty of towels at pool, coffee machine in lounge area, newspapers supplied. Everything thought of in rooms. Left refreshed and happy.

We stayed for just one night, booking on the day and arriving after hours. The instructions to access the secure car park and then the unit were very clear. The 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit was spacious, modern and clean - very functional. Some noise (we were above the access gate) but not much. But a little lane brings you straight out onto Hastings St and all it has to offer, without the hassle of driving. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful when we completed the paperwork the next day. Bella Casa is perfect if you want to be in the heart of Noosa, with a clean, comfortable unit. But if you after resort style living (big pool, views of the ocean), then this would not be right.

We have just had 6 nights at the Caribbean Noosa and we had a great stay. We chose a river front room which overall we were very happy with. The unit was clean and bright and furnished nicely. The kitchen while compact was very useable. The terrace over-looking the river was our favourite part - always something to see from there and so lovely to have your own private outdoor space with table, chairs and sunlounger. The only problem we had with it was that the bathroom was downstairs and the bedroom up on a mezzanine. But we kind of got used to that as the week went on. Not suitable for a family but perfect for a couple. The pool area was great and the free bus is right outside the door (I believe this free service is only for the summer holiday period). The location is perfect for Hastings Street which is only 5 minutes walk away.

We have been to Noosa many times and in the past have stayed at large resorts. This time we decided to go a bit more intimate. The Hastings offer stand alone 2 story appartments. Ground level had a room for storing surfboard and a washing machine and dryer. Go up one level and you have a huge kitchen, dining and lounge area with an out door balcony. Up to the next level with two bedrooms, two showers and plenty of room. We felt like it was our own house. Situated behind Hastings street, The Hastings are well located for all things beach and Hastings Street. Do your self a favour and give it a go.

We stayed in a 2 story penthouse apartment. (apt 31). This was our second visit over a period of 4 years. The staff were excellent and very friendly from the front office receptionists to the cleaners. The amenities are very, very good and the upgraded pool area and gym have been thoughtfully done and are a big improvement from our first visit. There is an elevator for disabled or elderly guests and the location in Hastings street offers easy access to all the area has to offer. The room was very clean and well appointed and we honestly couldn't fault it. The views from our apartment faced Noosa National park and over Laguna bay. We did however have one complaint and that was the bed. The bed was not comfortable to the point where I ended up looking at it as I couldn't understand why it was so hard. The mattress had a mattress topper on it which usually improves a bad bed no end but not on this occasion. Our only suggestion would be to get a new mattress as it looked old. Even with experiencing a hard mattress, we loved our stay and didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back (hopefully the mattress will be replaced by then).
