0.04km from Bei TakiGreat location, close to the centre and the main rail station Tube station just outside the front door Very friendly and helpful staff Inexpensive when so near to the centre Hotel was clean, food was excellent but what I remember most was the lovely staff who made us so welcome in a genuine way. Would highly recommend this hotel
0.1km from Bei TakiIn Munich for Oktoberfest, Frühlingsfest or the Tollwood Winterfestival? You couldn’t stay in a better-located hotel or apartment. Just minutes from Theresienwiese, Schwan Locke offers an inspiring tranquil retreat in the midst of the action. Our local borough, Isarvorstadt, includes the pretty neighbourhood of Glockenbackviertel, with its coffee shops, gay bars, global foodie spots and independent shops. And if your itinerary includes sightseeing time, we’re just a few tram stops from the city’s main attractions too. Including Marienplatz, the Viktualienmarkt, Beergarden Augustiner Keller and the museum quarter. Munich, done properly.
0.14km from Bei TakiThe hotel is located 2 minutes from U-Bahn station Theresienwiese, very close to Oktoberfest venue, and 20 minutes easily on foot to Marienplatz. For the price we paid you will not find a better one in the central area of Munich. The room was ready before noon when we arrived. While reading other guests' comments, I wonder if we stayed at the same hotel? Some of the guests complained that they were freezing, sleeping with their coats over blankets – however it was quite the opposite! Because of these comments I took my warmest pyjamas with me that I did not wear at all, as it was very warm in the room (we stayed 5 nights in December). The radiators can be adjusted manually as you please, from cold to super warm! Some other said they had only one towel per person, we had two and one for the floor, and they were changed whenever we threw them on the shower floor. Room was cleaned daily, and it was quite large, with nice seating area, perfectly quiet (our room was facing the yard, 3rd floor), with comfy beds, super Wi-Fi (very strong signal). It is not luxurious, but nothing was lacking in the room (even the hairdryer was there, obviously other complaining guests could not find it, as it was in the desk drawer). Breakfast was standard and decent, the only minus for us was the lack of scrambled eggs. Staff was very nice and helpful and I would recommend this place without hesitation!
0.17km from Bei TakiGreat accommodation option with many advantages: 1. The room is warm, the battery with a regulator, you can configure as you wish. Plumbing is clean, in excellent condition. Bed linens and towels smell deliciously fresh; it was nice to relax after long walks around the city. The cleaning is very thorough, carried out daily, including changing towels if necessary. 2. The room has everything you need: a safe, a refrigerator, 2 glasses, a kettle and welcome tea and coffee (updated daily), the beer opener was especially pleased. Sockets in sufficient quantity, at least 4 pieces (one by the bed, which is very valuable), TV 99 channels, including NTV (button 81) and Russia 24 (button 62). 3. Excellent location, a 2-minute walk from Theresienwiese metro (U4 and U5), with one change, the center is 10 minutes, walking time 15-20 minutes. 4. Nearest store 6-7 minutes walk: Lidl, Schwanthalerstraße 31, 80336 München. 5. Opposite (diagonal from the hotel) a great small cafe SARAJEVO IMBISS. Those who love Balkan cuisine (cevapi I pljeske, those who know will understand), definitely here, everything is fresh - it is prepared with you, as it should! Overall, a great option with a good location, helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Point 9+

0.22km from Bei TakiI went to Munich for a quick business trip having tried a couple of other hotels before and not having been pleased. This one is great. I didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that but my room was lovely (it was one of the superior rooms). It was enormous and the bathroom was beautifully fitted out. There was foot cream in a little sachet on the pillow which I thought was a nice touch (especially when you arrive at gone midnight and are very tired)!! The only complaint I have is that the towels are thin and feel cheap which is a shame when the rest of the room is so beautiful. The same comment goes for the loo roll. Easy things to fix though...
0.24km from Bei TakiBooking.com: “Newly opening in April 2013, this new hotel with a 24-hour reception lies in the heart of Munich.“ Nice front with the hotel name, KAVUN, but no entrance visible. Found at last a label inside the retracted door: „CHECK IN Hotel Atlas, across the street.“ No lobby in hotel Kavun. The breakfast is also across the street, in Hotel Atlas. After checking in, at the other hotel, I had to negotiate with the vagrant, laying in front of the front door. After that, it was rather easy to insert the key into the keyhole, although there is no outdoor light. Noticed though broken safety glass in the door, as the light came from inside. This is most likely the reason for the pictures on booking.com, showing the ground floor from outside. In the minibar was water, soda, beer and white wine and additionally bottle of red vine on the table, excellent, but there was no glass, not even toothbrush glass in the WC room. At the table was a pencil and peace of paper, but no light. The varnish on the parquet, was partly worn through on the parquet. Fine TV with one hundred, or so, TV channels in German language and some in Russian language, but not one in English. No instructions with the TV. The positive: Good location and clean hotel as almost all hotels in Germany. The bed was good.
0.25km from Bei TakiStayed at this hotel with two other friends and booked it because it offered the ability for 3 people to comfortably stay in one room, was centrally located, and was reasonably priced. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Munich HBF, even with luggage. The room was clean, although starting to show a bit of wear (walls need painting). We also had an issue getting the air conditioning to work that required two visits from hotel staff to resolve. The fully equipped kitchen was clean and appreciated. The bathroom was large and also clean, but stepping over the tub to get in and out is very high (may be an issue for older travelers). They do have some rooms with walk in showers though, if you require that. The hotel also offers parking for a reasonable price (15 EUR a night I believe it was, much less than some hotels in central Munich). Hotel staff remembered my birthday and left a nice note/gift in the room (the two bottles of beer were much appreciated). If I was traveling with friends I would stay again, we enjoyed the apartment-like feel.
0.25km from Bei TakiSituated just a few minutes walk from the main train station in Munich, this hotel was an ideal location for my trip. The hotel itself was very clean, with an eclectic decor which made it stand out to me. My room was spacious and again clean, with good wardrobe space (it also had what I assume to be a sofa bed which was unexpected but pretty comfy). The bathroom had a walk-in shower space, and they also provided a proper hairdryer which was much appreciated! There was a wide selection of breakfast foods available with the breakfast (cereal, cold meats, toast, pretzels, etc), along with tea and coffee and juices too. The staff were also all very polite and spoke excellent English. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
0.29km from Bei TakiThe best about this hostel is the distance between it and the München hbf. And that’s about it! The front desk was helpful and adequate. The free WiFi was pretty good. There’s good coin cappuccino coffee maker by the front desk. We’re assigned in a 3rd floor room in the back building. It faced the front building. There wasn’t any privacy unless you closed the thick curtain. Then, it became a dark room unless you turned the light on. The bedroom was not too small. It also came with a round table without chairs. (It was supplied after requested. No big deal.) the shower-room had moldy edges along with shower curtain. So it wasn’t very well maintained. The room was dusty. It’s probably because of the unbearable loud constructions going on next door from 7am while we’re staying. If you open the windows, the noise and dust just kept coming in. If you close it, then it’s hard to breathe. So it’s better to get out as soon as you can. Unfortunately, I won’t be staying at this a&o in the near future. So, I can’t recommend this hostel to fellow travelers.

0.29km from Bei TakiLooking back through reviews, I can't believe we never did one for this (trip was actually May 2019) For starters this is very much a no frills, locally owned business and must be judged as such. When it comes to location the Hotel Uhland is hard to beat. It is very close to the main station and has a couple of nearby local stations. It is also a pleasant walk to the Marienplatz area and is literally steps away from the Oktoberfest location (Theresienwiese). Breakfasts have a very good selection that was more than enough to satisfy all of our family (loved the mini Nutella!) Our room was a large 2-bedroom unit with a small kitchen that allowed us to do some grocery shopping and be able to keep leftovers or easily grab and keep food for later. Everything was clean and well kept, with both rooms having tons of storage. The staff were friendly and helpful, keeping our luggage on our early arrival and helping us arrange transport back tot he airport for our flight to Italy. Overall it was a very nice stay and we would not hesitate to stay here again upon our return to Munich.
0.29km from Bei TakiMy husband stayed here for two nights. The service was excellent, from the staff at the reception and also from the staff in the morning at breakfast, everyone is extremely helpful. The breakfast offer a variety of choices. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds very comfortable. The location is also a plus. About 5 minutes walk from the main train station and less than 10 minutes walk to the city centre. We would definitely stay here again.
0.32km from Bei TakiGday All We needed a reasonable hotel for one night while we traveled out of Italy into Germany. We took an overnight train from Rome to Munich and while we had a sleeper cabin we didn’t sleep well and arrived into Munich at about 7 in the morning. But we need to get settled so we went straight to the hotel and I have to give a round of applause .... without asking the concierge we were given a room immediately, offered breakfast and given a welcome tour of the dining area. Thank you so much!!! The hotel is modern and interestingly decorated with quotes and images from classic books so it’s a bit of fun to walk the halls and do the pop quiz ..... “which book was that” ... you get the Authors name. The room was modern with king size bed nice bathroom and services (TV Internet Aircon Lighting). After showers we went straight to bed till lunch. Yes the neighborhood is multicultural but if you’ve been reading the news for last 5 years .... Germany is welcoming people from elsewhere. The hotel is close to the train station and about a 20 minute walk to the old city center where good options for meals are plentiful .... one choice really though .... you must go to the Rathaus cellar restaurant.(our lunch) But there’s also a Munich beer hall opposite the train station which is great (our dinner) While on meals .. the breakfast was very good .... hot cold buffet ... juices coffee tea ... we don’t need 5 star brekkee but it definitely was well in line with 3-4 star buffets. We used the sauna and relaxation room and had it to ourselves which is a bonus. Good clean facilities .... lots of towels ... great 90 minutes I would recommend this hotel for one or two nights and it’s bookable through QANTAS and is good value. I’ve read reviews about a smell in parts of the hotel ..... yes there was a stale air smell in one of the hallways .... I’d be surprised if it’s not addressed. Cheers Robbee
Hotels Near Bei Taki In Munich Review
The location is very good, 5 minutes walk to the subway station, and the main attractions can also be reached on foot. Check in check out is very fast. The apartment has a cooking place and the room is spacious. The breakfast is quite rich, and many local specialties can be eaten at breakfast. The breakfast is long enough for you to taste slowly. There is no air conditioning, there is no problem in the autumn season, and I don’t know it in the summer. The fan is quite powerful.
This is a very cost-effective European hotel, the same price, better than the Marriott next door. First of all, the location is very convenient. It is 300 meters on foot from the subway station. The Lufthansa Express Bus at the airport is also at the entrance of the subway station. It can be 10 Euros from here to the airport, 15 minutes. The room was very good, I stayed in a superior room, but the facilities were great and new. There is a capsule coffee machine, there is a glass bottle of water (with a gas without a gas), there are bathrobe slippers, the towel is very thick. The room is very soundproof and the curtains are perfect. Room attendants are well trained and not as cold as most hotels. Book breakfast at the front desk for 26 Euros at check-in, which is a few dollars cheaper than direct signing. There are many kinds of fruits, a lot of fruits, and a handsome little brother will make you an egg roll.
Tulip inn is one of the many trade show hotels around the Munich messe. Located about 4km from the fair ground in a typical (there’s nothing going on but offices) industrial area. Directly located at the 94 highway thus easy accessible. Reception is understaffed and checking/ checkout might take a while. Rooms are pretty basic but clean (no neighbors noise!) breakfast is not to extensive but provides hot food and the typical bread and Cereals. To sum it up, not a place where you want to spend time with a family but a descend business facinity
Just stayed here for a few nights with the family. We opted for two rooms but where double beds were expected the rooms had two single beds put together. The bathroom was very clean and the showers worked a treat. There were very large TVs in each room and the beds were comfortable. Each room had plenty of storage space and each had air conditioning. We opted not to have breakfast, because the hotel was situated about 100 yards from the train station, so we went there instead. Breakfast here was about 20 Euros a head so we walked to the station for fresh food. As you leave the hotel and walked through the passage to the road, you turned right and the train station was right in front, just across the road. Staff were very friendly, there was free wifi and lifts to the rooms. Overall it was a nice place to stay and it was extremely well sited for trains and trams in and out of the city. Would stay here again, if only because it was so well situated being effectively just across the road from the train station.
We came 2 hours earlier than the check in time but were told that our room were ready. Tobias welcomes us at the check in and he was really friendly and welcoming. The hotel is quite new and about 8 minutes walk to the Station. It was quite fast to go to central Munich. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. Breakfast was a bit pricy at €19 per person per day, so we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel.
The location is excellent, but because of the recent construction near the Munich train station, the outside environment has a little impact, but the room is absolutely quiet and comfortable. We brought two children this time. There was no extra money for breakfast. The suites were arranged on the top floor and the scenery was beautiful. The rooms are fully equipped, all electronically controlled, very scientific and technological! PS: The hotel has a rich breakfast, especially the variety of fruits and high quality. There is also a bar that can make waffles by yourself. The children will make their own meals every day, especially happy.
