      Hotel Biton is reasonable, saving the stay by the staff's excellent attention, because my experience in November 2019 was not the best, was 7 days of stay and in no one of them I had access to the face towel despite requesting, as well as the beds and bathing towels were powdered or shaved, the bathroom had no support for sabun and shampoo to put on the floor, had no cabin in the room, very simple breakfast that does not match the hotel's classification, which I cited for example that one morning I had no French bread/salt or yoghurt, and it was said that the owner was in a meeting who had no time to buy that they were already going to provide, and finally I was received on the first day with a dead cheap in the room, on the stairs another cheap staying there for the 7 days and, at the entrance of the hotel that had many, i.e., is missing zeal and care by the owner with his establishment so that episodes like these reported do not happen anymore!!!

      The hotel common areas such as the lobby and the gardens are beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and varied as well. The hotel is a bit far from the city center and there isn't much around it at all. Front end staff was friendly but not willing to offer much assistance. We needed help calling a tour company and the reception clerk told us that she can't help us because the phones they had at the front desk could only receive calls but they could not dial out...this absolutely ridiculous excuse was just insulting. Other than that, no complaints about the hotel.

      The staff in the dining room and air conditioned rooms are the only saving graces for this place. The location is terrible- the room had a view of a junkyard/auto repair place, taxi's are very expensive to go into town (and you have to call ahead). The rooms were not super clean, when we arrived there was hair in the sink and on the floor, which remained for the whole stay. The internet was fine when it worked- but without notice it would stop working and go offline. There are maybe 10 TV channels that don't all come in completely clear. The pools were refreshing, but the chairs are hard plastic- not super comfortable to relax on. That being said, the staff was accommodating and kind. Some spoke Spanish, but others did not and I don't believe anyone spoke English, but I didn't even try.

      Generally very nice place, just a few minor issues. At check-in, which was around midnight, they gave me a room with a terrible View and a nonworking air conditioner. The second room which was the only other one available had no View but a good air conditioner. We were tired at that hour and that is all we could accept. That room was smaller than what we had paid for but it was clean and quiet and everything worked. The Wi-Fi I was excellent. And they did have CNN in English. I notice some reviewers did not like the food, but I can tell you the dinner buffet was excellent. The food was fresh and there were lots of choices and it was a beautiful big restaurant. The breakfast was quite simple but they had all of the basics. One thing that sort of borders on fraud is they have the word thermal in the hotel title and I have no doubt that the pool water was not thermal. I believe it was just regular natural water and they think the word natural means thermal. In other words there was no chlorine in the pool. There were also no signs about anyting thermal and no one could answer a question about it. Regardless, the pool was nice and the staff were all very friendly.

      Hotel Damen is a good accommodation option for anyone who wants a simple, clean, well-trained and comfortable room. No luxury. Good bed, air conditioning working, and no noise of the moved avenue in the apartment of the bottom. The pool was sweet because of the leaves of the trees around, but water was clean. It is only a little late for those who travel to work; and the restaurant was very hot; they didn't connect the air conditioning and the open windows helped nothing; staff very careful and educated!
