I am surprised that a few guests have left bad reviews about this great in January and February . Our experience was nothing like that. We came here by accident. My wife, daughter and I booked two rooms at Beryl Signature hotel nearby through Booking .com. However when we reached the hotel tired and sleepy the receptionist told us that they had a problem. They claimed that our rooms had a terrible smell so they decided to move us to their sister hotel with an upgrade. The receptionists were very apologetic and took us to the Palace Hotel which was round the corner. However, we sensed that they were not telling the truth. What must actually have happened was that they had double booked our rooms and they were given to somebody else. The booking company told us that they were very unprofessional to do so Anyway, it was a blessing in disguise because Bryl Palace was much bigger. By nature most buildings in Hanoi are very narrow so hotel rooms tend to be small. But Beryl Palace rooms were the best spacious rooms we have stayed in during our ten day tour of Vietnam The location of this place was superb and gave us time to visit the local shops and restaurants. The war museum and the Lenin stature were within walking distance and we enjoyed the short walk there the second day The two receptionists were welcoming and friendly. The staff are genuinely warm and attentive. Our two rooms had all the facilities we see in a four-star hotel in the UK. The rooms and toilets were very clean. What’s more, there was a knee-height wooden stand in every room for you to put your luggage on so you did not have to bend to picky stuff out of it. The volume of traffic in the area provides a continuous noise but you don’t hear when you are in your room . The breakfast area was small but when we went down there were no queues. They cooked breakfast for us quickly. There was enough variety for vegetarians like me and my daughter From the bell boy to the manager all were very courteous and extremely helpful. The reception and the lobby area were spotless. The best service was the Travel desk. They helped us in arranging transfers, excursions, and daily info on local delicacies and places to go to see Hano who helped us plan a few jeep tours. The travel desk was also fast in responding to queries. They booked our taxi to the airport and the driver was on time. They had a quick check-out as we were in a hurry and sent us off with a bow and acheery wave All in all, I would say out of four hotels we stayed in during our tour this was the best one with spacious rooms. Friendly staff, nice food, and brilliant travel desk. I highly recommend you stay here when you visit Hanoi.

I had a great three days stay at this hotel. I stayed with some friends and my family joined halfway in the week. The rooms were very nice, spacious and the facilities were vast. I very much enjoyed the breakfast which was a mixture of international and Asian cuisine, with curry, eggs, sweetcorn, porridge, cereal, and fried food for breakfast. The hotel is convenient for a trip to the night market every evening, with a 15 minute walk each way. It is also close to walking distance of the lotus puppet water show and other sites to visit, such as the Hanoi flag tower. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who would like a friendly stay they felt very safe and comfortable.

Very good experience! ! Before coming here, I communicated with Jenney at the front desk of the hotel about the pick-up service. Since our plane was a little late, the driver waited for us outside the airport for a while, but the driver didn't complain at all, and offered to help us carry our luggage; when we arrived at the hotel, it was already It was past 12 o'clock in the morning, and the little brother at the front desk was still waiting for us, and helped us check in very quickly. We were already hungry when we arrived at the hotel, and the little brother at the front desk also took the initiative to tell us where the supper was delicious, which helped us a lot; I like the swimming pool and SKYBAR on the rooftop of the hotel the most. It is also a great enjoyment to enjoy the night view of Hanoi here! ! The hotel's breakfast is also very rich. We ordered Pho every day, which was very delicious We also enjoyed the hotel's SPA massage, the price is reasonable and reasonable, especially the teachers TINA and HANA, the technique is very good, recommended to book SPA service for staying here!

Our saga begin with a canceled agoda booking. Which we overlooked. We came to Meritel assuming we had a confirmed booking. We were stranded and lost in Honoi. Mia and her colleagues knowing our predicament offered us refreshments and snacks. Comforted us and assured us that they would do the needful to assist us. They were fully booked, however, they made arrangements with another hotel in the same vicinity for accomadation. We have never experienced such care in any other hotels before. Our sincere and heartfelt thanks to Mia and her colleagues. We would wholeheartedly recommend meritel hotel to any guest.. We returned to Meritel a few days later when a room was available. The hotel and room reminded us of the hotels in France. MERITEL's (Mia and team) Hospitality is 5 star and we have never experienced such exceptional hospitality and service. Mia and her team made my daughter's birthday celebration most memorable and one to be cherished. Thank you.

I loved staying at this hotel as the room was great and service also. My only complaint is that it advertised a pool and gym; however, it was located at its partner hotel 15 minutes walk away. This is terrible and false advertising. For this reason I won’t stay here again

Hotel reception staff are all very helpful and very informative. We have no idea where to go for a proper PCR test hospital for the departure to Hong Kong. The hotel did recommend us one hospital which is about 2km from the hotel and most importantly the hospital was super efficient that provided us the test results within 4 hours and the price is only half of the other hospital charged. We are extremely pleased with the kind service that Acoustic Hotel to us during the stay. Service is excellent and room is very clean. We definitely will stay again next time in.Hanoi.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights during our Honeymoon trip around South East Asia, the hotel is in a great location on a main road, but wasn’t too noisy or difficult to find. The hotel was lovely for the price, but could do with some renovation - the handles in the bathroom were stainless steel but crudely painted gold etc - Nothing bad, just looked dated. The TV also had an analog aerial so the reception was terrible - not an issue for us, but might be for some. The breakfast was good, was nice to have the option if you have a busy day planned. Our stay was extra special as it was over Chinese New Year, so was great to be a walking distance from the centre of town.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Overall everything is fine, clean room, delicious breakfast, suitable for the money. The high point here is that all hotel areas have air conditioning, which we appreciate very much. It only takes a few minutes from guests to Pho Co, but we are not presented with a map when checking in. The female staff member didn't seem happy when we needed to recommend some places to eat. Great bell man and sales department. You will have to pay a very high fee if you lose the motorbike key that the hotel also gives you!

This is a hidden gem in the midst of the old quarter. A part of Hanoi where a myriad of shops selling a huge range of goods exists next to Hanoi's seemingly endless coffee shops. In very European architecture These small shops are bustling throughout the day. The hotel is nestled comfortably up a side street accessible via both stress, though only one is used by taxis. The staff are extremely friendly and make it their business to ensure the traveller is well looked after. Rooms are clean and come with a stocked fridge with Beer and soft drinks. The air conditioning is superb and in near 40C heat it is so welcoming. The balcony is large. Almost a second room in itself. Sit on the balcony in the evening during a thunder storm and watch the light show in the night sky...tremendous. With the balcony walls being solid, privacy is guaranteed as is safety...not going to fall off this. Breakfast is a pleasant mix of western and Asian. Cold cuts or cooked food. Eggs done by the chef to order. The hotel has a small travel desk so do ask about places to visit. Staff are very knowledgeable. Top tip: get the GRAB or BE app to book your taxis and avoid cab hailing....the risk of being scammed is very high. One final thought...not far is Railway Street. I won't spoli it....go and find out what happens. Get a daily timetable of trains. It is an experience. Highly recommended.

The location and service were very good, but there were countless small flies flying around in the room. Furthermore, something like a cockroach came out in the shower room. Also, the shower only came out with water, which was a problem. However, the Wi-Fi is strong and you can register Youtube, Netflix, and Amapura on the TV, so you can enjoy stress-free on the big screen even during your stay.

The room was booked and paid at the Family Transit Hotel. The room put us in shock, where the hotel is located too. And we moved to the Dragon Airport Hotel, regardless of the money already spent. Compared to the previous one, it was a super place to stay, although the noise of the track gave you information. Thanks to hotel staff for helping to transport things from a previously booked Family Transit Hotel. In the Dragon Hotel... clean. You feel safe. Bed is comfortable. I don't want to say that good breakfast, but there is no place to eat nearby. In general, in terms of food and in the rest of Hanay much poorer than Hoshimin. Near the airport we have cost a lot of hotels because of the situation. And this seemed to us the best option. If you are a tourist with claims, there is not one hotel near the airport that will not suit you.

Our group of 6 stayed 3 nights at peridot. We had some hiccups which was of no fault by the hotel..( like losing one luggage from our group from our cruise, and tour operator etc). The hotel went above and beyond to help us resolve our problems. Special thanks to Plum, who was so nice and friendly and was so professional and efficient to resolve issues for us. Hotel has plenty of restaurants and street food everywhere and is very near the lake. Beautiful pool and sky bar too.Everyone was very friendly and helpful, from the bellboys to the front desk staff. They even gifted my mom who has a bad knee a herbal compress from the spa. Small details and kind gestures made our stay here so special. 5 stars to the peridot team!

The location of the hotel is okay, and the service attitude is okay, but I think it's a bit strange. My colleague arrived at the hotel first and did not provide BOOKING and passport information. The front desk directly called her name and gave her the room card. After we checked in for one night, when we returned to the hotel the next night, the boy at the front desk asked us to have our passports copied. Before having breakfast, I gave my room card to the man at the front desk to check out, and he said it was OK. I said I had ordered laundry service, and he told me to have breakfast first and do the accounting later. Then after breakfast, I went to the front desk, and he told me again. I said, are you sure you don’t have to pay? What did he say to pay? I asked about the money for washing clothes, and he said wait, and then after confirming it again and again, someone took the bill. The hotel is okay overall, but I feel that there are some problems with the internal management. If I am not an honest person, and the front desk told me twice that it was okay, if I did not ask for the cleaning bill any time, then they would not receive the money. . I also asked what to do in that situation? The front desk told me that it was their front desk and customer service responsibility. It would be better if I feel that internal management and training need to be strengthened. The breakfast is average and can be enough to fill you up. It is not particularly rich or not rich. But the taste of the powder is a bit strange and not very delicious. It was okay when I checked in for the first time, but this time it was obviously not as delicious as before. The texture of the noodles and the taste of the soup were both wrong. Hope it improves.

A great hotel in the Old Quarter and very convenient for sightseeing in Hanoi. Situated near beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake and its lovely gardens, trees and temples. Very reasonable rates- value for money. The rooms are comfortable, clean and air-conditioned. Clean towels and water ere delivered daily. The breakfast buffet was good and you could also order from the breakfast menu so there was lots of choice. The staff make this hotel. David the manager is very welcoming and extremely helpful as is his staff, particularly Henry and Ian. Nothing was too much trouble. David booked our sightseeing trips to Ninh Binh, Halong Bay and Sapa for us - all were excellent and at very good prices. Pick ups from the hotel were organized by the staff so that made organising transoport easy. The hotel has Vietnam SIM cards for your mobile, and they also provide a currency exchange. We couldn't have been happier as it made organization easy and we had a smooth, trouble free, comfortable and a very happy stay at the Rising Dragon Legend Hotel. Thank you David, Henry, Ian and the rest of the staff. We'll return. Peter and Vicki, Australia.

The staff in this hotel were excellent! From welcoming us with some welcome drinks and fruit, to politely going through our booking details with us (as there was a mix up about payment) and even looking after our bags for a night (as we spent one evening in a village a little way out from Hanoi and returned to the hotel the day after). Of course the rooms, cleanliness and breakfast were also fantastic - and the only reason for rating the location as a 4 is owing to the fact that as it is centrally located in the Old Town, it can get quite noisy at night. In fairness, the hotel accomodated this by ensuring guests were placed in rooms further away from the noisy street (and with double windows), but it is something to bear in mind. We didnt mind of course - you cant expect to be in the midst of it all, and at the same time expect pure silence!

Tony, Chuong, Annie really went the extra mile to make my stay perfect. Tony was very proactive always inquiring if everything is ok and making suggestions, if better options were available, that I did not think of. Chuong helped me restoring my by mistake deleted pictures from the cameras SD card once I came back from SaPa - thank you so much! Without you I would have not been able to use the camera - or I‘d have to buy a new SD card. Annie was great in explaining the differences in the tours, asking what I expect and was also very honest when telling me that the 6 hour tour is the standard one day tour everyone takes and is hence a little more crowded. The location of the hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Hoan Kiem Lake and the Opera (there is the money exchange offering great rates - Quoc Trinh Gold Shop - right around the corner) as well as to the train street. The train station, if you‘re going to SaPa by train is approximately a 15 minutes walk. The rooms (as I stayed there twice, I got to use two different rooms) are very clean, cleaned daily and have really comfortable beds. Really loved staying there and will be for sure staying there again, if coming back to Hanoi.

Room is a decent size for the price but the AC is rubbish, water marks and weird stains on the ceiling and wall, wallpaper peeling off and the shower wasn’t great. Generally didn’t seem very clean, I found someone else’s hair tie on the bedside table and glitter in the bathroom. The sheets smelt very perfumed which made it seem like they hadn’t been cleaned and smelt of the previous person who slept in them. Staff were friendly but a bit pushy trying to sell spa treatments and despite putting do not disturb on the door we were awoken with consistent knocking and the phone ringing by housekeeping trying to get in. I stayed in Hanoi for a few days at this Brilliant Hotel and Spa, it was incredible! The location is perfect; it's right in the middle of the old town, it is convenient to get anywhere in the city and I was at the heart of everything I wanted to see. I had family staying across the street in another hotel, and while theirs was more expensive, the Brilliant Hotel was much better. The service from the lobbyists was friendly, helpful, and insightful -- not at all looking to scam or take money from me (unlike other locations I visited during my trip, or even from my family's experience). They immediately offered me a physical map of great places to travel in the area, and communicated with me in a personal and friendly manner. I told them what I was interested in seeing, they helped highlight it on the map. Google maps isn't the best option in Vietnam, and having a physical map actually helped 'save' me from being lost more than once on my trip. I thought that was the end of that, but at night they left a personal card on my door, always remembered my name as I walked in and out, and even remembered where I went and what I said about it, making conversation whenever I wanted, even at breakfast! The breakfast was quite good, besides the normal food they can cook you omelets, pho, pancakes, etc. The service here is unlike anywhere else I've stayed, the lobbyists Fiona and Lucy in particular were extremely friendly, approachable, understanding, and helpful. 10/10 I recommend this hotel, and I definitely will be going back here when I travel through Hanoi again!

We recently had the sheer pleasure of staying at the Hanoi Stella Hotel for three nights and our hearts are still nestled in the warm embrace of this exquisite establishment. Situated in the vibrant heart of Hanoi, the location afforded us the luxury of strolling through the city’s captivating streets with utmost ease. The rooms we were initially provided were a haven of comfort, showcasing pristine hygiene, especially in the bathrooms, which is always a big tick. The jewel in the crown was undoubtedly the staff whose proficiency in English was matched only by their boundless kindness. Their welcoming smiles immediately dissolved any travel-weary tension, making our interactions with them utterly delightful. Our adventure beckoned us to Sapa for a few days, but we found ourselves looking for the comforting cocoon of Hanoi Stella. Without a second thought, we booked it again for our final night in the city. To our sheer joy, we were upgraded to a family room—a spacious sanctuary that made us wish we had booked it every day of our stay. The room was a cornucopia of comfort, boasting ample space, heavenly beds, and a top-notch air conditioning system ensuring a cool retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle. The reception was a redux of our initial warm welcome, greeting us with tea, making our return feel like a homecoming. Their attentiveness added a golden touch to our already stellar experience.

To be honest, didn't stay at this hotel. This hotel is behind the White Horse Temple and there should be two stores. At the front desk of the hotel, my sister could n’t speak Chinese and communicated in English. Then she told us that the hotel circuit was broken. We changed to another shop, called TU linh palace hostel. Our room was small. But my uncle who came to meet us spoke Chinese and experienced the difficult communication in English. I felt kind to this uncle instantly. At that time, we did not exchange enough Vietnamese dongs. We exchanged 3,000 renminbi dongs with our uncle. Then I asked my uncle to buy a 22-dollar ticket to Da Nang for us. This is more pit, but as the first stop abroad, Hanoi can still accept it! !! In the end, Hanoi, as the capital of Vietnam, has more Westerners, less hotels in Chinese, and higher consumption. The hotel is like that, anyway, I didn't live in this hotel.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights before my trip to Sapa and for another night on my return. On both occasions I was allocated the exact deluxe double room on the same floor. Hotel: This small and clean hotel is located in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter within a 2-3 minute walk to popular Ta Hien street (beer street). As I arrived I was greeted warmly by the very friendly door boy and receptionist and was offered a plate of fresh fruits and juice while they were taking care of the registration. All staff were very friendly throughout my stay, housekeeping was always on point and the general areas of the hotel spotless. I did not use the hotel wi-fi because I purchased a tourist sim card at the airport. And neither was I able to try out their complimentary breakfast. So I unable to comment on these services. Location: The airport express bus 86 as well as the big sleeper bus from Sapa stopped within a 5 minute walk to the hotel which is very convenient. The hotel is located on the eastern edge of Old Quarter so if you are arriving from the airport, inform the 'express bus 86' conductor that you would like to get off at the '142 Duong Tran Quang Khai' stop. You will save heaps compared to catching a cab from the airport. With this being my 2nd trip to Hanoi and having previously stayed in multiple other hotels in the same area (Old Quarter), I had a fair idea of the location prior to booking. What can I say, the hotel sure was in the heart of it all with coffee shops, bars, restaurants, clubs, travel agents, laundry services, a pharmacy, etc right below and all around the hotel. A popular Vietnamese BBQ restaurant 'Bo Nuong Xuan Xuan' is almost across the street from the hotel which I highly recommend. Most must see places are within walking distance from the hotel including the lake, popular egg coffee shops, train street and of course Ta Hien beer street. And I found the surroundings to be very safe. Room: A deluxe double room on a higher floor was assigned as requested which was exactly as pictured with just the right amount of space, modern and very clean. There was a mini bar, complimentary water, a safe, study desk and two small windows which unfortunately did not have much of a view. The bed was large and very comfortable and the flat screen TV had plenty of English channels including multiple music channels. The air con worked very well and kept the room nice and cold. Bathroom: I am very particular about bathrooms when booking hotels, and more often than not, I would rather have a nicer bathroom over a nicer bedroom. In this instance however I have nothing to complain about since the bathroom was equally as good as the bedroom. It was very clean, of a decent size, with a modern toilet, spacious vanity, and a large walk in shower with a rain shower head. No issues with water pressure and hot water. The shower cubicle had a see through window into the bedroom which can be closed by blinds (by the person t
