The service they provided from the free shuttle bus to the reception had been excellent! The shuttle bus driver kept reminding us to call him for pick up at Kaga Onsen station even though service had already ended. On the day of checkout, they volunteered to send us to the airport, which really took us by surprise. Throughout the 3 nights stay, apart from the array of hotel facilities, the staff had been very hospitable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This is a large ryokan, although the lay out makes it seem and feel more intimate. Check in was professional and friendly as was our orientation with a cup of green tea made by staff in our room. We had the Japanese style room. The room was beautifully traditional and minimalist with a beautiful tokonoma, but also included a TV, fridge and excellent amenities. Of course yukatas and "happi coats" (a short coat over the yukata) in different sizes and sandals were also provided. The room even included a couple of beautiful origami birds. During our dinner our beds of comfortable futons were laid on the tatami mat floors. All in all very comfortable. The onsen was wonderfully relaxing after a day of touring with three different temperatures available; equally great was going into the onsen bath as a way of energizing oneself early in the morning. This ryokan had extended hours. As novices we were thankful that it wasn't busy. But you soon get the hang of the various steps in an onsen bath - especially making sure your tenugui or small towel never touches the water. All in all this ryokan was an excellent and enjoyable introduction to another aspect of Japanese life.

Hotel facilities are a bit old, the basics are all Japanese, the front desk service is very poor, we arrived at about 2:30, the Japanese who arrived at the same time were led in batches, we also checked in, but did not give the key , said check in the specified time is 3 points, only 3 points to give, and later to the theory before giving 10 minutes earlier. Obviously different treatment! However, it is necessary to specify that the door-to-door driver and the baggage master serve the first-class bar. They smile and face each other, and they greet each other with a big compliment. The front desk should really learn from them! The surrounding towns can be said to be nowhere to go, not recommended.

Close to the bus stop, it was convenient to use pick-up. I would also like to use it when I come to Yamashiro Onsen. thank you for helping me.

1) Breakfast is Japanese style and tastes good; 2) Of course you have to pay for extra beds; 3) Let's go to the side and say that it has a history of 200 years, and when we find out that it really feels like 200 years, we retreat. When I left, I found that there was a very good bath in the first floor of the hotel. I didn't know why the front desk didn't say anything. 4) The hotel service is good. The girls are carrying luggage, which is embarrassing. Although it is the Hoshino Group, this "world" is obviously inferior to Hongxi Yanuo. It ’s a different sub-brand, the surrounding environment is very bad and it ’s not worth it

This hotel is invincible, the price including two meals is very reasonable, the child charge is also very reasonable, the bath is small and big enough, the service attitude is very good, breakfast and dinner are very exquisite, the variety is definitely enough although it is the same every day, even Stayed for three days, very close to the bus station, even if there is no shuttle bus, it is very convenient. The bus station also has two high-speed buses that go directly to Kanazawa Station and the main attractions twice a day, which definitely exceeded expectations

JR gets off at Kaga Onsen Station and waits for the hotel shuttle bus to pick you up from the hotel according to the time. It is important to make an appointment if you can’t make it. There are outdoor hot springs, which are not big, but they are clean and must be naked. This is very important. The triple room is very large, with box-spring beds and sofa beds of average quality. The first floor is by the river and the fifth floor is on the ground, so the lower floors have a damp smell, which is very important. The breakfast catches up with a tourist group, and it is important to queue up to enter the restaurant. The return journey should also be arranged according to the hotel shuttle bus, 9:45 and 10:45 in the morning, this is very important. The town has a nice view along the river, and the walking path is worth walking. The town is very quiet.

I love the check in reception area with its beautiful bamboo garden in the background. It relaxes you instantly. I was shocked though once you enter the hotel, it leads you to a long escalator. We had a lot luggages and boxes so I was a little embarrassed that the staff incluiding a old lady had to carry our shopping bags all the way up by stairs, which was next to the escalator. The staff were extremely helpful including the receptionists. The reception was on the second floor. The outdoor onsen is very relaxing as you are looking at the forest. The check on area was for both men and women so it was a bit confusing, ladies onsen was upstairs. We were guided to the room and the staff was trying her best to explain everything in English. The dinner service staff could not speak English and there was no English menu for the dinner served. The food was of average quality. We wanted to drink the sake we brought and the corkage charge for 3000 Yen and they could not even serve us properly. They gave us a tall wine holder that cannot put ice. We later told them to change it to a container that is wider. The bellhop was very helpful and managed to help us squeeze all the 5 lugguages and 4 carton boxes into our car at check out.

Everything about staying at Kayotei was wonderful. The service, the food, the artist experiences, the onsens, the inn itself, and the gorge walk were all highlights. The inn is a 20 minute drive from the Kaga-onsen train station, and they can arrange for you to be picked up. We arrived and all the staff turned out to greet us. The staff was all extremely gracious, and everyone we interacted with spoke perfect English. We were checked in by the lounge with a cup of tea by general manager's son, and met the room attendant who would be personally taking care of us. We had arranged ahead of time with the General Manager, Jiro Takeuchi, to visit some local artisans. That is a particular passion of his. We went to a soba noodle restaurant, and made our own soba noodles, which they cooked for our lunch. We visited the studio of paper artist Mika Horie, who makes traditional Japanese handmade paper from gampi tree bark. (She's also a photographer who makes cyanotype prints on that paper.) She showed us how to make the paper, and we each made two pieces of paper on our own. She dried them for us, and mailed them on to our next hotel a few days later when they were ready. Finally, the next morning we went to see Yasushi Satake, a third generation woodturner who makes amazing lacquer bowls. We bought a couple of his bowls as souvenirs. There are extra charges for all these experiences, but they were one of the highlights of our entire trip. After the experiences we tried out the onsen baths. Some rooms have their own private onsens, but those rooms had already been booked. We tried out the two single gender onsens, which were empty at the time. They alternate which one is for which gender each day, so if you stay for two nights you can try them both. They day we stayed, the women's onsen had a second outdoor bath. There is a rather picturesque gorge directly below the inn, and there is a nice stone paved trail through the gorge, across an amazing footbridge, and into town. We had a nice walk, and explored the town a bit, which has some nice shops (and a post office, if you need more cash). They served a multi course Kaiseki dinner in our private dining room. It was one of the nicest meals I've ever had. I've heard from several sources that it is was one of the nicer royokans in terms of food. Everything was delicious, and nothing was "too weird" as to be off-putting for my children (ages 12 and 18). Much of the food is local sourced from small producers. The rice, tofu, rice wine, soy sauce, seaweed and so many more were all extremely special. They've been doing the local food thing for 20 years now, before it was so common. The great ingredients were expertly prepared. In addition to trying the local sake, they also have a French wine list with some very nice bottles. The service at dinner was discrete but efficient. One particularly nice thing was that our room attendant kept explaining what we needed to do, since much of it was un

The hotel is located in Kakayama Naka Onsen Onsen Street. There are basically no tour groups, and most of them go alone. About 20 minutes by car from JR Kaga Onsen Station, the hotel has a free BUS shuttle. The hotel is next to the Hexian Creek. There are two large baths, which are exchanged by men and women. There are 3 private soups. You can choose one of them and use it for free for 50 minutes. You need to make an appointment in advance. Room facilities are a bit older, but the service is good, the staff is welcoming and attentive. There are free on-site pancakes to eat. Good meal, especially dinner, cost-effective, noden crab in the meal, recommended! You can rent a hotel bicycle for 500 yen for 3 hours. Staying in the hotel for two days, walking along the stream and strolling on the hot spring street is also a good experience!

From the moment we arrived it was 100% service. The valet parked our car and took our bags to our room without us having to say or do anything. We booked the couples private onsen which we enjoyed immensely both were clean and luxurious overlooking the river and nature. Our bedroom was massive! and the tatami floor was so comfortable it was the best sleep we had in japan. We were given complimentary champagne for our honeymoon dinner. The food was all traditional Japanese there were over 8 courses and breakfast was just as interesting. I was very nervous that the hotel might smell of cigarette but it did not! This was the perfect Japanese experience thank you for such wonderful service I would recommend this to everyone.

We stayed here for two nights during the Sakura season. The food and the service blew us away. They provided shuttle service from the Kagaonsen train station. On our second day there the staff drove us to the train station so we could go sightseeing in Kanazawa. We were late getting to the Kanazawa train station, missed our train and thus our previously agreed upon pickup time. To my surprise they were at the station waiting for us when we got back to the Kagaonsen, a couple hours later. The food was delicious and portion generous. We had a hard time finishing what was offered during breakfast and dinner. They were also very accommodating to my daughter's picky eating habits. We dined in our own room so we could just dress in yukata to enjoy our meals after enjoying the onsen. The room we stayed at, which has a private outdoor onsen, is a bit dated but clean. It was facing the river so the setting is very peaceful. There is also a private family onsen which we utilized quite a bit. It was very difficult to leave such a lovely place. Highly recommended!

There is a shuttle bus from JR Kaga Onsen Station (it should be Yukuai's No. 2 bus, with timetable attached). It is very convenient. If there is no reservation, the driver will let you get on the bus. The room is really big, it is the largest room in my trip to Japan, I feel that there is no problem with ten people. The banquet dishes for dinner are also good, and the food is very satisfying. During the afternoon in the open-air bath, there is also free sake and plum wine. The service staff is very polite and constantly greets you and chats (he speaks Japanese, I speak Chinese and English, this five-minute awkward chat... Hahaha) If you leave the hotel, turn right and walk for a few minutes to the public baths, where you can experience the locals’ bathing, so don’t go for tattoos. There are hot springs for soaking your feet and hot springs for drinking in the square outside the baths. It is very comfortable to bring your own foot wipes to soak. It is a pity that I only stayed for one day due to the itinerary. I will definitely go to live for a few more days next time. The tranquility of the Hokuriku countryside is definitely a good place to relax on vacation.

My wife and I enjoy visiting Ishikawa-ken because it is away from the typical tourist crush...it is quiet, refined, clean, and unhurried. We keep searching for those ryokans which cater to couples rather than to large tour groups, and to couples rather than families with loud and unruly children. Also, we look to find ryokans which offer private, in-room rotemburos. Kuriya Yasohachi seems to have it all — an air of quiet elegance, a nice modern room with a private rotemburo, excellent food in measured quantities, and top notch service. We stayed three nights and did not feel like we were getting repeats from the kitchen — each dinner and each breakfast was different, delicious, and satisfying, without being overwhelming. The service was excellent and management went out of its way to cater to all of our needs, even those which were not a ryokan issue (a dysfunctional GPS navigator on our rental car, for instance). Cleanliness was top notch, and we never felt like tings could be a little cleaner or a little more tidy: a perfectionist would be in heaven. We were sad to leave as we felt so welcomed in the inn. We never saw the public baths because our own private rotemburo was wonderful to bathe in. We had views of the ravine, the river below, and bamboo trees — complete privacy, and the sound of the river lulled one to sleep. What is not to like? 1. The exterior of the building could stand a good cleaning and painting. While the interior has been impeccably maintained, the exterior gives the impression of age and decay — don’t worry, the inside is wonderful. 2. The ryokan charges for coffee. Many of the luxury ryokans in which we have stayed offer coffee, usually self-service, but complementary. Yasohachi charges JPY500 per cup, which to be fair, is freshly brewed for each client. 3. Yasohachi provides a beautiful selection of yukatas for the ladies. We wish there had been a greater selection for small ladies — there was much greater variety for taller and larger women than for the petite ladies. We’ll be back!

We came to Yuzankaku as a family; my wife and kids love hot springs and I do not. By all accounts they had a great time in the baths. Much less impressive was the food: we had a dinner and breakfast buffet and all of us found the selection and flavor not to our liking. Everything was a little too bland, a little too dry. The karaage was nigh inedible; how do you get karaage wrong?? Even my wife, who was mainly excited for the crab legs, said they were skinny and not satisfying. Dinner did include unlimited beer, sake, and other alcohol which was a nice gesture. I would not return to this hotel.

I will continue to choose this hotel next time. The location is superior and the service is serious. There is a drug store and a convenience store downstairs. The subway is 5 minutes away. Recommend everyone to consider staying in Tokyo. If the family of three is not recommended to book a double bed, the two beds in the twin room may not be comfortable. The location of the hotel is about five or six minutes walk from the south exit of Shinjuku Station. The view on the high floors is good. Nishi-Shinjuku buildings are unobstructed. The front desk service is very nice. When checking in, I said お tired れ様です and handed over the towel. The room was not big but enough The only small flaw that feels pretty good with cleaning is that the window is not particularly large, but overall the price/performance ratio is already super high

The hotel location is very good, the traffic is very convenient, two subway stations are just outside the door, there are a lot of eating and shopping in the next two or three business districts, there is a shopping mall diagonally opposite, there is a Chinese restaurant on the ground floor, the cost is very high, the taste is also very good . The breakfast in the hotel itself is very good. There are three places to eat. The western breakfast on the top floor is the best, followed by the western food on the Lobby floor. The Japanese breakfast on the Lobby floor is exquisite but not full. The room is clean and hygienic. The area for two adults with one child is large enough. The bed is wide enough. The large bed is 2 meters wide. The garden inside the hotel is very beautiful, the garden is a standard Japanese garden, and there is an artificial waterfall. Generally speaking, it is very suitable for parent-child travel!

Shinjuku
I stayed for consecutive nights because of the corona vaccination being carried out at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. It has been used several times It is a beautiful hotel with no complaints. Cleaning is also perfect. This time the outside scenery was not good in the room, but it was good because I could relax in the room slowly. You can stay cheaply and get rid of the tiredness of work, which is really helpful. I look forward to working with you next month.

Shinjuku
Size of the room type: Considering the price point, it can be considered in Shinjuku area. After all, you can't expect a large area of 20-30 square meters for a few hundred blocks. By the way, if the luggage is too large, it may not be easy to expand. Transportation: It is close to the subway station Shinjuku Sanchome, but it is not particularly close. You need to walk a long way. There are various undocumented inside houses. Unfortunately, foreigners dare not look into it. It seems that there is no other comment on living at high levels at night It ’s so noisy, and the sound insulation of the room has not been actually tested, anyway, it is quite satisfactory From the perspective of personal travel, overall is pretty good

Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi
Environment, service, and sanitation are first-rate. I do n’t have to say the location. I really like the design of the room. It ’s the Japanese style I chose for breakfast. I did n’t have enough to eat. I used a bowl of porridge until afternoon tea. I had to make a reservation by the window in advance. Replaced with a jewelry box. One of the small improvements is that we can't check in at less than three o'clock when we check in. We recommend to go out and go around. In the winter, we wait outside at three o'clock as a first-class hotel and we have not arranged a warm and comfortable waiting area. The bed looks uneven from the surface. Uneven

Tokyo Tower Area
The room is arranged on the 18th floor, facing the Tokyo Tower. It’s so happy 🥳...The breakfast is on the 33rd floor. It is not luxurious and exquisite. Facing the tower view, I feel comfortable and have a great appetite! There are Tokyo Tower, parks, gardens, and Zojoji Temple, the tomb of General Tokugawa’s family, so adults and children can stroll around. The room facilities are very pleasant: not to mention the separation of dry and wet, the bathtub and the shower are separated, and it feels great!
