Hotels Near Berimbar In Paris
0.23km from BerimbarWe could have easily given this hotel a better review because of its good location and clean rooms. We really enjoyed our stay up until the very last night when our room was robbed (along with three other rooms). 1. Four rooms were robbed (with other guests from Europe and South America). The affected rooms were in different levels of the hotel, and we were all scheduled to check-out the next day. We do not know if the thief/thieves were able to gain access to this information. The hotel receptionist said that this was just a mere coincidence, but this is hard to believe. 2. No forced entry in any of the affected rooms, which means that our rooms were easily opened using a hotel key card. During the night of the robbery, the hotel receptionist said that only the hotel receptionist and the cleaners have a copy of the master key card. We were later told that one of the master key cards went missing. We do not know how it went missing, but this was the hotel receptionist’s explanation of how the thief/thieves were able to enter our rooms. 3. Our luggage zippers/locks were destroyed (the other guests' luggage zippers were also destroyed in the same way), so even though our shopping purchases and some valuables were kept inside closed and locked luggages, they were still forcibly opened. 4. We wanted to view the CCTV footage, but the hotel receptionist said that there wasn't any CCTV camera in the hotel. This is very surprising, given that the hotel has several rooms across several floors (6 levels). The hotel lobby and hotel entrance did not have a CCTV camera, even though the main door of the hotel has a sticker/sign that says that the hotel is being monitored by surveillance videos. 5. When we asked the receptionist to call the police, he said that he couldn't get in touch with the police. However, we were easily able to call the police by ourselves. We spent the next day in a police station to file a formal police report. 6. Upon checking-out, the hotel offered to waive the cost of our hotel bill, and after we left Paris, the hotel’s management also offered to compensate us for a partial amount of the value of the items that were stolen from our room. We appreciate this gesture from the hotel’s management. We’ve all read about pickpockets and the growing number of scams in Paris, and as travelers we try our best to prepare and avoid that. But the last place that you would expect to get robbed is in your own hotel room where you should feel the safest while you are on a vacation. Naturally, we were left feeling very disappointed since we never expected this to happen in a hotel with good reviews. We hope that the hotel can improve its security so that future guests wouldn’t have to feel scared or worried that a thief/thieves can enter their hotel room at any time. We truly appreciate the concern shown by the hotel manager following the incident. If only we could have also received the same level of concern from the hotel s
0.27km from BerimbarDo you want to stay somewhere and experience real Paris? You won't find a tour bus stopping here. It is clean and it is affordable. It is also spacious. The wifi worked. There was a tv and a shower. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but there were people everywhere so it was fine. The owners may not speak English as per other commenters. I don't know. As I speak French, it was fine. They were nice. You could probably manage with an easy translation app. It isn't like you are going to discuss much with them anyway so don't let that keep you away. The staircase is definitely unique and challenging so if you have mobility issues, you will need to reconsider. They do help with your luggage though. I will stay here again if I return. Basic French breakfast is provided and it's fine, but we took advantage of the pastry places since we don't get to France much. Restaurants and grocery stores in very close proximity. The bed was a little hard so if you need a plush bed, maybe not your joint.

0.27km from BerimbarThe hotel is easy to reach from Gard de Nord train station being only 6 stops on Metro Line 2 and then a 5 minute walk. However its half way down a small road which is easy to miss in the dark so pay attention. The rooms are based either side of a central passageway and on either the ground or first floor, accessed by stairs, no lifts. I was on the first floor and this was not a problem for me but might be for others. I had a Standard Double Studio which has the bedroom partially separate from the small kitchenette and shower room / toilet. The room was quiet and, although small, normal for Paris. Everything was provided as expected including a nice coffee machine but only 1 coffee capsule and 2 tea bags, as I was there for 4 nights I bought more from the local supermarket. The room was quiet during my stay and neither too hot nor cold. The only negative point I would make is although this was a 'Double' the bed was pushed up against the wall meaning that a second person would have to get out of bed by climbing over the other person or via the end of the bed, fortunately I was on my own but maybe a question to ask booking. Overall the hotel and room met by expectations and I would stay there again,
0.42km from BerimbarWe stayed here for three nights and a great little hotel to stay in yes the room small and the shower but it did the job for the amount of time you stay in you room. The reception. Both the lady and gentlemen could not be more helpful nothing was a problem we recommend the bar next door but one looks like shop frontage but once you enter is a tiny bat with a great atmosphere you are slightly out of town but parmenter is a five minute walk and you can travel around on the metro without any problem. We would recommend this Little gem
0.54km from BerimbarPlus points: We were given a ground floor room on request as we had a small baby and was easier with the pram on finding out how small the lift was. So the room was a disabled access room which meant we had a fairly large room as well as a separate toilet and shower room. Was perfect for us. We also had 24 hr access to the microwave which meant we could easily sterilise bottles for baby. Plenty of sockets available to charge our phones and boil our kettle (we had brought one with us, hotel does not provide) There was a 24 hr reception so if we needed anything there was always someone there which was good to know. Very close to the metro and local amenities. Minus points: The cot provided was of very poor quality unusable for any baby. We would never put our baby in such a thing. It looked like it had been brought from a dump site with no mattress inside and surrounded with holes in the netting and burn marks. Breakfast was just a disgrace, completely cold and had to pay extra! On top of the overpriced room they expect guests to pay extra for cold croissant and bread and a cold cup of coffee and juice. The simplest of breakfasts and we paid extra for that. Luckily we just agreed that we'd try it for just one morning then the next we went out to eat. There was dust on the lighting by the bed and walls.
0.55km from BerimbarWe recently stayed at Cosmos Hotel for 7 nights, and absolutely loved it. I would not hesitate to stay there again next time we are in Paris. We ended up with a large room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. The room was spacious and there was plenty of room for ourselves and all of our luggage. The room was very clean, the furniture was modern, and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms had a very nice shower, fresh towels each day (if you wanted), and was very clean. The room also had a new and efficient air conditioner, a safe, tv, writing desk, and two windows that could be opened easily. The staff at the front desk were very kind and helpful. They were happy to speak to you in either French or English, and there was always someone available (24x7). They made our entire stay very comfortable and stress free. The hotel was ideally located. There were tons of great restaurants, small bars, wine stores, bakery shops, grocery stores and more. We never once felt unsafe. It was close to several metro stops, and at least one bus passed directly in front of the hotel. We were able to get to all major sites without problem using public transportation including the airport. You should note though, if you are looking to stay at a fancy hotel with lots of frills this is not the place for you. It is clean, functional, well located, and the staff are great but don't expect the Hilton. All and all, this hotel was a wonderful place to stay and we look forward to visiting again.
0.6km from BerimbarWe were originally placed 5 floors up, with a window that didn't close properly. We requested an alternative room which they did accomodate. The first night we stayed in a 3 person room, which was clean and tidy - but it would have been quite small with three people in it. The staff allowed us to leave our luggage in their storage facility as we were in a different room the following two nights. The second room we stayed in wasn't great! We had to cross through a courtyard, which was more like a building site, into a separate room. The room was dirty, there was mould growing throughout the bathroom, and it was very small. There was also mould growing on the ceiling of the bedroom. The location itself was great for exploring Paris - easy walking distance for the metro or bus into the centre. There were also plenty of small shops and resturants for getting food in, although the hotel does a breakfast (which we didn't try.) The lift is very very small - barely fit one person with a rucksack, and the stairs are a steep spiral, so I would not recommend if you have any mobility problems. The staff themselves were very helpful and friendly, but the hotel itself is small & dirty. The neighbourhood isn't fantastic - I wouldn't feel safe on my own at night.
0.63km from BerimbarWe had a lovely stay at the Acacia while visiting the Atelier des Lumieres - it’s across the street from a grocery and several small cafes and right on a central bus line. The staff were very accommodating, loaning us both an umbrella and a fan when the room was stuffy. Love that you can open the windows for fresh air and to feel more a part of street life. The room is basic to be sure, but met our needs very nicely and is priced attractively. I give very high marks, however, for the super fast and efficient follow up when I realized I had left behind my iPad. It was too late to go back for it as we had a plane to catch but the front desk staff, after some back n forth messaging, got it in the mail to me and I received it in 2 days (all the way back to the U.S.!) I will be forever grateful. Just a note on the stair/elevator comments from another review - the elevator works very well but if you have lots of luggage do it one person at a time. The stairs were easier for us, being on the 3rd floor; we found them neither narrow nor steep.
0.63km from BerimbarWe stayed for a night outside the main tourist town for the first time (11th arrondisement) to see the Atelier des Lumieres show. We had a choice of two Ibis hotels and this one was at a very competitive price. It is quite small for an Ibis but we had a cheerful and helpful reception rescuing us from our execrable French and murderous accent. The room was small but clean and comfortable the shower and toilet again small but functional and with the wonderful hanging dispenser for the shower gel. I wish I had one at home! The wifi was excellent, we were able to stream Netflix from our Oz account. Mobile reception not quite so good. Air conditioning was very effective. Our room faced teh courtyard and was quiet. It made a really good base for a walk and meal in the area, both of which are recommended. The breakfast was good and certainly kept us going until our mid afternoon flight meal. Checkout was easy. Possible improvements would be to add card security to get the lift to your room and perhaps a hot water source for a cup of tea. We did not use the room service menu but it looked like it would do the job.
0.64km from BerimbarArrived at around 10.30am to find that our travel agent had cancelled our booking and the lovely lady on reception was so helpful. She printed off our original booking saying they’d cancelled it so we could claim it back. Luckily they still had rooms so we paid again a very reasonable price and she let us check in there and then with no extra charge. We felt immediately at home once we saw that the receptions and hallways were decorated with Keith haring figures who we love 💕 All the staff we encountered during our stay were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is bright, clean and airy and the room itself the same, quite big for Paris and had two double Juliet balcony windows which came in handy because it was very hot during our stay. Oberkampf metro is only a few minutes walk away on a main room with shops, restaurants etc and the hotel was a very good location, just set back on a side street behind this. Our room was opposite a bar which stayed open quite late but the noise wasn’t bad enough to keep us awake even with the windows open. The only negative I could find was that the lift was absolutely tiny but that wasn’t a problem to us but could be to some people. We are heading back to Paris in September and even though we’ve already booked somewhere, we are looking to change to Des Metallos because we liked it that much. Thank you so much for being a safe haven in a situation that could’ve spoilt our break.

0.66km from BerimbarI got a good deal on this room through Priceline. Checked into my room and unpacked. After being in my room for a bit, the bathroom door handle broke and I couldn’t get it back open. I alerted the staff, and they came in the room to try and fix it. It took quite some time, and eventually I had to switch rooms to another floor. I had to re pack and relocate. They offered me an upgraded room at an additional cost of €30 euro a night. I asked if there was anything the hotel could offer for the inconvenience, and they said no. When checking out, there was a nearly €30 euro room charge which was for the coffee I drank each morning in the cafeteria, which I specifically was told I wouldn’t be charged for. When I asked the front desk guy about this charge, he said I should have been told about the charge, but the two previous desk people did not tell me about this. I felt very disappointed with all of this. The staff was friendly, but they didn’t go out of their way to resolve any of this for me. The rooms are very small. Though they are clean. I would not recommend this hotel due to my experience. The location was not close to anything good, and they definitely didn’t go out of their way to make my unpleasant experience better. I’m not typically the type to try and get something for nothing, and I was very friendly when trying to resolve the issues, but the staff was inconsistent and unwilling to do anything extra to make up for their miscommunications.

0.79km from BerimbarWe were really looking forward to our trip here (booked pre-covid) but then our flights were cancelled 3 months ago due to the pandemic. We contacted the hotel straight away but were told we had booked a non-cancellable and non-transferable room so they were not willing to let us cancel the room. We repeatedly messaged them as various quarantine rules became in force but always with the same result. I then messaged a final time this week due to the Paris curfew (ie e writhing closing at 9pm) to be told “Dear Mr. Smith, You have made a non-modifiable and non-cancellable reservation. The Scarlett hotel is still open. The curfew is from 9pm to 6am and every body must adapt to this exceptional situation. We are sorry to announce you that we can not refund or defer the booking. Best regards, The management” Several other hotels that I and my friends have booked have worked with us to try and compromise (eg take a deposit, defer through booking to 2021 etc) so I am extremely disappointed in the hotel’s attitude. “Non-cancellabe and non-refundable” do not really apply to the conditions we are all living in during 2020 so to have them thrown back in my face by a robotic reservations clerk is frustrating and insulting.
Hotels Near Berimbar In Paris Review
The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.
Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!
For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.
Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!
We got a beautiful Junior Suite with Balcony, even in the city and on a street with traffic located, it was very quiet and you couldnt hear anything from outside while the doors are closed. It is very spacious and with a very pretty bathroom with luxury amenities from Hermés! And of course full equipped mini bar with Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is delicious and a mix from a la carte and buffet, what I love. So you can have everything what your heart desire. The best is the amazing Akasha Spa!! It is so big and has everything, big indoor pool, big sauna, big steam bath, big jacuzzi and a cold bath. Even if they are many relax beds to lay on, sometimes you are just alone and its like you have a private spa. Friendly and helpful staff all around the hotel! I definitely will return!
Convinrent airport hotel perfect for what I needed. Short walk away from transit train dirent to the terminal. Very helpful staff. Front staff speaks good English and when I had small problem in the room the reception staff fixed it swiftly and changed my room. The maintenance man who helped fixing was also super helpful and friendly. Thanks very much !
