Breakfast was good, variety was ok on the weekend, however need improve the variety bfast on weekday. We stayed for 5 Night on 14 - 19 Oct and staff were also very friendly, courteous and helpful, especially for Rafft for making our stay extra enjoyable with his great service. Comfy bed, and big bathroom. the location of the hotel is very strategic in the city center and if you want to go to the mall or look for other food options it's only walking distance.

Old dated hotel but can stay. Try booking using the hotel website. They will get back to you via whatapps. 395K for standard room. But it was fully booked. So recommended to take grand superior room at 475K IDR. It is manageable to walk to peniun market area and A2 food court and grand batam mall. About 10 mins +-. Gojek from Marriott hotel (gojek shelter) cost 26K IDR to this hotel. There is a specific go jek shelter pick up point nearby Marriott hotel area. Just need to keep a look out. If can should book artotel which is a newer hotel compared to hotel 89.

First experience of staying here, and it was quite satisfactory. Choosing this hotel because of its strategic location (it happened that this trip to Batam did not take a private car as usual). Arrive at the hotel at 11 o'clock and it's nice to have a room ready (Grand Deluxe - 2 Queen Beds) even though the consequences are not suitable for City View special request; if you want to stay City View, you must wait for this check-out time normal. But it's OK, the important thing is that you can go straight into the room because the little guy fell asleep again. The reception staff is quite friendly, although it may be more friendly, but yes, yes, it's okay. The lobby is clean, cold and as its name suggests; this hotel is indeed vanilla flavor! For the Grand Deluxe 418 room is very ”worth it” for 350an (tiket.com plus redeem TIX point as big as 124ribu-an ).. the room is quite clean, quite spacious with 2 queen size beds, a lot of hangers hangers provided (and i'm so glad for that! ) clean bathroom, 2 pairs of hotel slippers provided; which is not expecting to get hotel slippers because budget hotels usually don't drink yak ... to Grand Mall, Sushi Tei, Pak Raden, just walk. There are also many food around the hotel, Alfamart next door, and a delicious durian shop! Until this review is written, I haven't tried the atmosphere of the rooftop and the breakfast (it's 3 am in the morning FYI ) but I hope it will be just fine! Overall with a price of 350 thousand, Grand Deluxe room, very satisfied! Recommended hotel for those who do not bring a car; because parking is a bit difficult ya. Keep the good work, Vanilla Hotel!

It was good before, hence coming back. However, in my opinion, the service is not up to standard now. The cleaning of room is only upon request and I was not made known. The room allocated was with no window and too small even for a solo traveller (i need to walk side way and no space for my cabin size luggage). Loud sound from early morning (630AM local time). Probably will not be back again. But the location is definitely a plus point.

We stay at room 201, pls have a look at the room and you will feel the terrible experience. The cupboard next to bed got noise and the staff told us that is probably mice behind it,..the bed sheet is so terrible stain and torn,.. worse is the shower where during rainy season they blame the weather for the faulty of hot water supply. For anyone gonna check in there, please check on the room prior payment or else they wont bother to make a room change for you.

Stayed 2 nights at the one @komplek baloi. Good location, near 2 shopping mall (BCS mall and Grand Batam mall). Outside the hotel there are many eateries, some are outdoor tents and there's also outdoor food court. Massage places are many around this hotel also. Convenience store also available across the street. The hotel is quite new, but the bedsheet a bit yellowish and saw stain at the corner. When i requested to change the bedsheet next day (by putting the card), they didn't do it because saw the same stain at the same spot. Came 2pm for check-in but the room still not ready yet, so waited at the lobby. There were no hand towel provided, called the housekeeping and they only gave face towel. Breakfast spread quite good, but taste average. They allowed for late checkout at 1pm.

Here annually, because of its superb location - near a large mall, near several massage centres (my perennial favourite being Thai best), near several excellent food places (must check out Mickey Mouse 66, as well as the coffee shops in its vicinity), near several wholesale shops but they do sell individual items (fantastic branded knock-offs at fantastic prices). As for the hotel itself, rooms are large; with basic amenities and free mineral water. Concierge is reliably helpful, friendly and efficient. Receptionists (same air of sulkiness, whoever is manning the station, whatever time) and buffet breakfasts (why eat here when there are superb choices nearby) are consistently below average, whether the hotel was “Gideon” or is “Gideon by Aston”.

I like the location of the BCC hotel very much. It is really convenient for me to go to A2 food court to eat and walk to two large shopping plazas and small shops. It is just a few steps away. In addition, I have a rich breakfast for four days. I have to surprise breakfast every day. Good to eat if you are not very demanding, other than that the swimming pool here is very large and clean because there are not many people swimming. The only downside of this hotel is that it is a bit dirty, the cleaning staff seems to be not trained, just clean 🧹 If you love cleanliness, it may not be suitable for you. If you choose this hotel, remember to bring your own towels, sheets, pillowcases, and hot water bottles, because although these things are in the hotel, they will make people shake their heads. In general, although it is cheap, I am a clean person. I will not stay in this hotel again next time. Dear,Managent In charge I can say that Iam quite a regular in city central and Iam writing due to my unpleasant stay and treatment from 1 of your staff I eloberate a small build Chinese lady with a stuck up and rude outlook and respond to guest frankly let me give the management my point of view if this lady don't know how to respect guest and smile I guess she don't belong to the Service Industry.And I believe the management are not on the ground to see this problem so as a guest I pay and not staying city central for free so I demand a small respect from your hotel staff as Iam a guest .But for the pass few days this small build Chinese lady wearing city central uniform really piss me off as if she owns the hotel ,higher management please look into the matters as if this staff keep on having her attitude problem towards guest she can spoilt city central good names from the outlook of a guests perception.Management should take note about this matters seriously before the situation get Bad for your hotel outlook and please send her for a hotel course so she can learn to respect guests in future . Very efficient Check-in and Check-out as the items inside the fridge are complimentary. The staff at the Oriental resto for b'fast and the x'mas dinner were pretty attentive and we also had a pleasant experience with their security and hk staff. Grab can drop-off at the lobby but you have to 'grab' one from outside the main road at the vehicle exit point of the hotel driveway. B'fast items, although in variety are not of quality standards as compared to hotels in Thailand, which is inclusive in the room pricing. Same for their X'mas Dinner! Good location, and to Grand Batam Mall is only about S$2.50 where you can cross the road to A2 foodcourt and BCS mall. Taxi from Batam Center to hotel is standard at 70K IDR if you don't want to lug your bags to the roundabout outside which is a distance away. Overall, a pleasant stay!

Checked into superior double room facing roadside upon arrival to Batam. Room was big enough for 2-4 pax (would need to add extra mattress), however, it was dimly lit for a huge room, aircon was faulty, bedsheet have some stain, towels are questionable and toilet/bath is not very clean. Told reception about the faulty aircon and staff went in to check. Confirmed faulty (which receptionist is apparently aware of the issue already beforehand). Got transferred to a twin room which seemed better. Well lit, working AC and bathroom is still so so. One of the beds still got visible stain. About to have dinner outside the inn, booked Gojek only to find out last minute that room door is unable to lock from the outside (note that from the inside, there is a working double lock, but I’m giving feedback from outside the room). Auto lock is faulty, hence I’ve tried to close the door and check several times to give it a chance but to no avail. Told the receptionist again and was informed that they will change my room the following day. Next day, I’ve decided not to go out of the room as the receptionist told me the booking is full and no other rooms available. Staff will just come and rectify the lock.

I attend a training session held in Biz Hotel from 22-27 February 2021. This was my first time in this hotel. I stayed from 24-27/Feb (4D 3N) in Room 708, superior room with twin single bed for 2 pax. First impression was good, clean, continously maintained. All furnitures, bed, curtain were clean. There is saving box (which not working) but it does not matter. I can see straight to Four Season Hotel, Jodoh. I observed this hotel using famous name for the functions room... unique ! We had breakfast on the 11th floor, which is very good place especially at night where we can enjoy perfect view of Nagoya-Jodoh area. Foods served simple, but tasty (Coffee, tea, eggs, and toast etc) This is the strong point. The hotel located just in front of Nagoya Food court, and it's another strong point. During the pandemi, I am sure the hotel also suffering with room occupation issue, but i notice all the staff are kind, polite, and friendly... The receptionist (cute, average height female with glasses), and On Job Training high school student, Maria (from Flores) at 11th floor were also communicative and nice. Continue your overall good working...!

Booked superior room again. The room size is great. But unfortunately this time, we tried to store our medicine in a fridge and freezer. They told us, they do not offered fridge storage service anymore, only able to assist with freezer. We were really disappointed. If you needed such services, pls do reconsider on this hotel booking. And I seriously thought that the 3 stars hotel standard should be reevaluated. And the room door sound proofing is really bad as well. So at the hotel room corridor, when they are guests talking loudly, you will be able to hear it clearly at the room.

Honestly chose this hotel because I have a business to go to the Holy Spirit Hospital and just leave it easy. But with a pretty cheap price (294 thousand for a Deluxe room) not bad the friendly staff, the lobby and elevator are fragrant, the room is quite clean even though in the bathtub the bathroom has stains.. Only the AC in room 411 is ”old” which is not allowed to be replaced. Because the swing is not working. The room is quite large, still able to enter an extra bed (150rb per night).. Breakfast is pretty good although the type is not much but it feels okay around the hotel there are many food shops and there are alphamart and indomare, it's not quite okay for those who don't bring a car Well for those who happen to have business to the Royal Buddha Hospital or the Bunda Hope Hospital, Choose this hotel, just let's just drop the luggage after checking out, it's not a problem with the luggage right to the hospital, the staff is super friendly and helpful, 1

Hotel was mediocre. Room does not have minibar. Airconditioning works weirdly. Switched it on but cannot feel any cold air within the room. Had to switched it off and switched it on again and again to ensure it works perfectly. Heater was useless. By the time it hits the second person who wants to shower,theres only cold water. Raised it up but no difference. So didnt bother to raise it up again. In front of the hotel there was a massive construction with a lot of noise obstruction. No message was left in the room to inform us on the massive drillings that we had to face. Nevetheless, the balcony was a plus point. Your staff Bayu was great. Check in was seamless , he took the time to explain to us thoroughly and informed us on the channels that was showing WorldCup. The Google nest in the room was a plus point too! Which i think its very brilliant. Havent been to a hotel that uses a google nest as a form of communication to the Reception which is very user friendly. Netflix and spotify was available too! Walking distance to Nagoya which is fine. Provided a 24/7 in room spa services whch require a 30minutes lead time as well. It was an average stay. Could have been better.

I don’t give 1/5 reviews. I am only triggered when the cleanliness and hygiene is an issue. This hotel gave me a room that I had to walk through a smoke reeked corridor. When I went into the room, I got a room that had so much wordless shakes than nods of approval. 1) Toilet was not clean. There was mold. 2) Room had to be “perfumed” with a packet of something hanging on the air con duct 3) ALL the towels in the room were stained. Asked for a new set and it was STILL stained 😳. 4) No shampoo as a 4 star hotel. 5) Recycled bed room slippers ( of which I am fine ) but it was stained with dubious stuff. 6) Room picture hangs precariously over my head. 7) The extra bed I paid extra for came without a bed frame and was placed on the floor. Housekeeping said it is like that 😵‍💫 Management has to do something. The poor housekeeping got a hard time from me 🙏🏻
