My wife and I stayed at the Sachsenpark Hotel with our two Border Terriers, for five nights In November 2017 whilst we attending the World Dog Show whish was being held at the Leipziger Messe, which is just opposite the hotel, and which, therefore, was very convenient. The hotel is located only a few minutes from the A14 autobahn, and our SatNav directed us straight to the hotel. The hotel which is about 7 kilometres from the centre of Leipzig, is outside the 'Environmental Zone', and therefore we did not have to obtain a permit for our car. There is a frequent tram service from the conference centre, and tickets can be obtained from the hotel. Because of this, we had no need to drive our car into the centre of Leipzig. The hotel is located in a mainly business area, though with a small shopping precinct with a Petrol Station, a small MacDonald’s and a couple of restaurants, neither which we used. On the outside the hotel, particularly from the rear is reminiscent of an East German barracks, however, inside it is a first class hotel. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. We arrived fairly early in the morning; however, we were immediately found a room, on the ground floor. This was most convenient for the dogs and their trolley, and myself as I had recently had a hip replaced. The room was clean, the bathroom being immaculate, and the room was serviced every day. The furniture looked as though it had come from a flat pack, but was adequate, and the bed was very comfortable. There was an excellent breakfast provided, and the evening meals were also very good. All in all we enjoyed our stay, however, I cannot give it five stars because of two deficiencies. Firstly, though there was Wi-Fi provided, for those who had not brought their own computer, there was no computer room available for guests. Secondly, and more important, there was no coffee shop. The restaurant closed after breakfast, and did not reopen until dinner time. There was nowhere to sit down and have a coffee or a drink with friends, nor anywhere to obtain a small snack.

Three nights for a business convention in the nearby Congress Center Leipzig, with nice weather in 15 minutes walking distance. The Hotel is well located in a shopping Center area, but outside the city, a suburb of Airport, Shopping Center and Convention Ground. For a quick fast food or easy food stop simple to reach also for all kind of shopping! The check-in was friendly even not with all attention, but the service people do all kinds of jobs in the Hotel, so multi tasking is key. Rooms are very simple, even more, no curtain just the shades, which leaves you to go either naked at light, or dressed at daylight but no other way to have privacy. Also no closet to hang Shirts, Suits or lay T-shirts and pants, yes there are a hook and a shelve but no closet! WiFi is working well, the bed was good, the shower and toilet simple but working, with all towel service needed. Breakfast was very good, also simple but with a lot of love and effort to make it rich and valuable for almost all - do not expect fresh eggs your style only one style mass product! If you prefer to sleep at an open window change the room to the inside, the worst room was to the Highway and the Aircraft runway, when they start the departure. Okay for a cheap night when you have to visit the CCL, but otherwise maybe not my first choice, sorry.

We stayed for one night with a party of tourists on a coach holiday. The evening meal was excellent with a salad buffet, soup, and several main courses again on a buffet, with a good choice of vegetables. There was a choice of dessert. The hotel does provide jugs of tap water on the table in the dining room, which English people prefer. The bedroom was clean and nicely furnished. There is a kettle provided to make hot drinks in the bedroom. Wi-fi is available too. There was a very comprehensive buffet breakfast.

On our way to Berlin we stayed one night in Leipzig to explore the city. The Days Inn is located an approx 15min drive from the city center. We took the way in the night, so not sure how much traffic there is during the day. Seems there is also a train station close to the hotel to go into the city. It was a very reasonable priced option with about 50e/night. The rooms were clean, ok in size and in good condition. For one night really ok. The staff was friendly but the checkin took some time...We did not have breakfast. There are quite some trains in the night passing close to the hotel, so if you have a light sleep, it might disturb you. If you are not looking for anything special and just want to stay a couple of nights, a good place to stop.

We arrived late afternoon and reception closed. Went to the restaurant entrance and ignored. Called their number and told to return to the restaurant to collect key. Waitress not sure what needed to be completed. Room clean but basic. No hot water in sink but bath did, no shower. Very expensive and very far from city centre. Breakfast reasonable. Check out and they make you exit the hotel to walk through the puddles in their pot-holes car park to pay. Won’t be returning to this hotel.

I had just a one night stop-over at this hotel during a business journey, but it was a good choice for me. Room was relatively cheap, but that's probably because of nearby road works. They don't cause any noise in the hotel area, but they do make this hotel a bit hard to reach from the highway. Make sure your map is updated before you try to reach it, because mine wasn't so I was circling around it for 20 minutes until I found the way to it. But as any road works - it's just a temporary nuisance, and you get a cheaper room as compensation for it. Hotel is also next to some kind of small shopping mall, which means there's lots of free parking next to it, and if you forgot to buy something you need for your trip you will surely find it there. Lady at the front desk... I would use word "efficient" instead of "polite" or "welcoming". My room was on 1st floor, as was the bar and restaurant. Dinner at the restaurant was quite ok. Staff didn't seem to speak much English, but they understood my requests and were very polite. Breakfast was very good with wide variety of choices, so if you stay for several days in this hotel, it will take a couple of days before you make a full circle in your breakfast selections. Hotel corridors have seen a lick of paint and recarpeting recently, so they appeared bright and fresh. Room I had was a single bed room. It had a nice sofa and a working desk. For some reason rooms are equipped with tablets that guests can use. There is a TV in there too, but if you want to kick back at the sofa and read your morning news on the tablet - it beats reading them on the phone. Inside the desk I found a usual bible, but also a book on teachings of Buddha which seemed like a nice touch of multiculturalism. A complimentary bottle of sparkling water was on the table. There was no mini-bar in the room. Carpet had some stains on it, but they looked like they come from overzealous attempts to clean it (they were lighter than the rest of the thing). Room was clean. Sheets too. Inside of the sofa - not so much: amount of crumbs under the cushions revealed this area was not on the usual cleaning checklist. Bed was a bit too soft for my taste, but I had a good sleep anyway. It helped that there were no loud noises during the night. Bathroom was clean and well maintained with usual things you would expect in it like shampoos, hair dryer, etc. Shower curtain was long enough, but too narrow so it wouldn't reach from wall to wall when taking a shower - meaning that afterwards floor had to be wet on at least one side of the tub. View from my room was towards the flat roof of the adjoining mini-mall, and steel fire escape stairs, so it wasn't much of a view. But in that area it wouldn't have been much better whichever side it faced, because it's a rural outskirt of Leipzig. If you want to see anything, you have to get out of the hotel and drive for 5 minutes before there's anything to be seen. Altogether

Just got back from a two night stay. The hotel is well place for a trip to Leipzig taking, about 10 minutes into the city with the tram. The stop being just around the corner. The hotel is clean, and our 3 bed room (201) was very spacious. Breakfast was very good at an extra cost of 12€ per person. The only draw back is that most of the rooms face the road and bus stop, and it did tend to be very loud. With the windows closed it was quieter. Parking can be found for free on the nearby side streets( with a little luck). Overall a great hotel for a weekend.

I stayed here for a night on my journey through Germany and found the hotel to be quite nice for nights stay. Unfortunately construction was under way at the time of my visit but it didnt impact on my stay too much. Its in a quieter area of town and there are some nice restaurants along the street. My only issue was parking. I couldnt get a parking spot on site and had to park 2 blocks away on a side street. There is nowhere in front of the hotel to stop and drop off your bags, so had to carry them from my car to the hotel. Overall a nice room and nice bathroom.

Yesterday evening, we noticed that the shower was overflowing. However, we didn't think much of it. This morning we noticed that water had actually leaked into our room. So at 9 I decided to go to the reception to report the problem. Even though it said the reception would be open from 9 to 8, there was no one in sight. At around half past 9, I spotted the cleaning lady. She tried to help me, but knew this problem had been going on for quite some time. She gave me some numbers to call so I might be able to reach someone who could fix this. No answer. Tried many times. When we left the hotel we noticed the receptionist entering the building around 10. When I told her she simply said that she would tell housekeeping. When I mentioned that she might need to fix the shower rather than simply clean our floor. She accused me of not closing the shower door correctly. I was really offended. She proceeded to tell me she knows this tends to happen, but it is due to the guests not knowing how to close the shower door and therefore the issue would not be solved. In her opinion this wasn't an issue. She then told me to come back later if I needed more info. In my opinion it is clear that if you have a hotel. You have a couple of responsibilities: -be there at the times you are supposed to be there (apparently they tend to come in somewhere between 10 and 12 rather than the given time) - be of service to your customers when they come to you with issues. Customers are the reason you are in business. So keep them happy. - make sure when 4 rooms share one bathroom that it is actually properly working. Never going here again.

The Suites Hotel is a bit outside of the downtown Leipzig area, but there are convenient train connections - with the stations about a 5-7 minute walk away (you can by train tickets at the desk). It is walking distance from Helmholtz University (where I was working). The suites are big and spacious, the beds comfortable, the internet connection good, and the bathrooms spacious. There are only a limited number of English t.v. stations, but many in German, of course. My shower shot from too-hot to too-cold, but I managed. Everything else about the room was fine. The breakfast was wonderful and diverse, and changed from day to day. The restaurant for dinner was just ok (but there aren't many other eating options in walking distance, except a supermarket in the same building). The building itself is bright and airy with open sky lighting and a glass elevator. Best of all, the price was relatively inexpensive, especially considering the confort and the room. Overall, a nice stay.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in October and were pleased we did. The room was all that we needed for our quick trip to lovely Leipzig. Positioned on the perimeter of the city's core just across Trondlinring, it was ideal. The service super friendly at the front desk, nothing was a problem. The breakfast, again, all that we wanted. Room rate reasonable. Positioned just 5 minutes walk from the rail station made it even better for us. Would stay here again.

Check in and out was efficient and friendly, although the staff followed all needed corona protocols. The hotel offers nice and comfy studio and one bedroom apartments. The studio apartment (mine was in 8th floor) offered a kitchenette including a table for two people, washing machine, and all items for a longer stay. Overall the layout of the apartment is well thought, even in small details. Everything was clean and well maintained. Location is in the city center with all pro and cons. I liked it, particularly in a city like Leipzig where you can walk or use public transportation to many places. Gym and pool are small, but ok. The team was very friendly and helpful without any overdone politeness or servility. Overall, still an excellent option for staying in Leipzig, and maybe one of the best for a mid- to longterm stay. Very good value for the money. Recommended. Will come back again.

For first many thanks to the staff: for the very warm welcome and support at the reception desk, the great & friendly service during breakfast time, the ladies who cleaned our room very carefully - nothing to be taken as granted. Some other feedbacks notices that the rooms and the hotel as a whole have a flair of vintage, but it doesn’t really matter because of: enough space in the room; the new (?) windows with the possibility to open for fresh air and keeping the noise outside; really hot/warm water and heating for regulating by oneself all the day; a really good & fresh offer for breakfast, including fruits and vegetables; never ever I saw such clean white walls! I could find more examples, in the end it is much more than somebody could expect from 3 „stars“! And above all it is located in the center, only some minutes away from the main railwaystation, near a lot of tram stations and some minutes to the city! We were really very satisfied!

I had a great stay at Ibis Leipzig City. The hotel is located in central Leipzig, just a 5-minute walk from the main train station, and very near to all attractions in the old city. Nearby there are grocery stores, restaurants, transportation options, banks, and all other conveniences. My room on the 4th floor was clean and stylish. The soundproof windows offered a quiet night's rest. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large and the water pressure in the large shower was excellent. I did not try the hotel breakfast. The staff is helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
