Hilton Honors üyesi olarak özellikle seçtiğimiz otelde birbiri ardına gelen kötü deneyimler yaşadık . Otele giriş yaptığımızda 14.30 civarı idi, (check-inn 15.00), odalar henüz hazır değildi ki olabilir, bize bavullarımızı bırakmamız önerildi. Akşam 19.30 sıralarında otel döndüğümüzde bavulların olduğu odanın kapısının açılamadığını, görevli personele ve otel müdürüne ulaşamadıklarını öğrendik. İlaçlarımız dahil herşeyimiz kitliydi ve ne zaman açılacağı konusunda hiç kimsenin fikri yoktu. Yoğun ısrar hatta agresif bir yaklaşım ile sonunda gece 2.00 gibi kapı kırıldı ve bavullar geldi. Bu arada bize defalarca otel müdürünün pazartesi günü bize ulaşacağı söylendi, ki bu HİÇ OLMADI :(( Bitti mi, HAYIR, sonraki 2 gün oda temizlenmedi, sonunda gene defalarca söyleyerek odayı temizlettik. Bitti mi, HAYIR, Bu otelde 2 oda ayırtmıştık birisi 1 Eylül diğeri 2 Eylül çıkışlı.Kızımızın başka planı olduğu için. 30 Ağustos günü herhangi bir özür vs. alamamış ve zar zor odamızı nihayet temizletmişken, iki odayı da 1 Eylülde boşaltmamız gerektiği BİLDİRİLDİ. Şaka sandınız değil mi? gayet ***dilerdi, ne otele varış öncesi, ne check-in sırasında ne de otelde geçirdiğimiz 3 gün boyunca bahsetmedikleri bir fazla rezervasyon olduğu , çıkmazsak polis çağıracaklarını söylediler. Açıkcası elbette odadan çıkmayabilirdik, ama gerçekten artık olay bu otelden kaçıp kurtulalıma geldiği için, oteli terk ettik. Ne yaptılar derseniz, tabii ki biz ödemek kaydıyla başka bir otelde rezervasyon.... Yani siz bilirsiniz

Lovely and special hotel in city centre (converted monastery) with friendly staff and very clean rooms! Prices are a bit high for overall experience, current charged tourist tax by hotel is way higher than it really is [charged 5,- pppn, it really is 2,35 pppn), hotel could try to put you in a comfort room when a superior room is booked. Parking is too expensive, 5 walking minutes out of the ccity centre you park for free (Sittard is a small town). Buffet breakfast is too expensive for what it actually is, The bathrooms are mostly open plan.

Was in the area for a wedding, and the hotel we originally booked closed down, so we last min had to change to this hotel. They accommodated us perfectly. our room had a great view. The shower and toilet were set up like locker room stalls which i guess is the purpose of this hotel, and not for wedding type guests. The service at the restaurant and bar were amazing! very friendly and helpful.

Where to start .... Checking in took about 25 min. !! We had made reservations weeks in advance but we were not 'in the system', someone had to be called, didn' answer, .... so it took a lot of time. Then we got our keycard to room 105. Once there, the card didn't work so back to reception. Ah, then uou need a (enormous) key to enter, no repairing the card! Wa made reservations to dine at the hotel. What a disappointment: we ordered some hors d'oeuvres to take our time to look at the menu. These were brought after the appetizer. However, all sorts of things were missing ... without notice. The main course was brought and immediately we asked for an extra portion of fries. It was never brought. The main dish also lacked things that were indicated on the menu. So let's go to the room. Once there the television didn't work. Back to the reception. Ah, apparently the previous guests took the remote control with them! Isn't that checked when you clean the room? Breakfast in the morning. At 9 o'clock we go to the breakfast room. Your room number? .... Oh, you haven't passed on an hour! Unfortunately.' Did we have to do that? Yes, at check-in you must immediately give the time when you want to have breakfast'. That was not asked. That's too bad!' ... And so I can go on: very dirty rooms indeed (the washbasin was not cleaned), dirty corridors, ...) This is definitely not worth 4 *, at most a low 3 *. We went there for three days to relax and all the relaxation provided by the (fine) Wellness was immediately transformed into stress by the hotel. They don't see us there again.

Stunning building & façade. Main interior rooms perfect decoration on first impression although scuffs and minor repairs not attended to on close inspection. The carpetting up the stairs &in the rooms was worn, dull & very stained & dirty. Rip it up , replace or bare wood would be better. Sink and bath both rusty and the grout is very dirty. It would take much investment to make this hôtel amazing. Staff bare minimum , very keen to assist but very busy doing other jobs. Wine list not offered fortunately the house wine we asked for was delicious. No water on table. It was a lovely stay that could be improved. Would love to stay again once improvements are made.

Good hotel for a business trip. The room was pretty good - size and a very nice shower. The room has a pod coffee machine which is a great idea, but why they don't leave it set-up - ready to go - is beyond me. First you have to plug it in - ok first world problem, but why not leave it plugged in? Then fill up with water, and then work out how to use it. I mean - wouldn't it be great to be able to just walk in and use it? There's a gym which is pretty tiny, but at least it's there. The restaurant is excellent for evening meal - good choice and huge portions. Definitely went down well. The breakfast is only a simple affair but they do have a short-order cook doing eggs. Good place to stay for a business trip. I'd come back here if staying in this area again.

The front desk staff were compétente as well as warmly welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, with enough hangers! The only complaint is that the sink stopper work so it didn’t hold water. The breakfast buffet had a wonderful variety of excellent choices and the staff were very helpful. If we are in the area again we would definitely stay here again!

Dit hotel als uitval basis gebruikt voor een dagje valkenburg. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is meer dan goed. Klein ontbijt bij de prijs inbegrepen. Kamers zijn klein, maar een goed bed en een goede douche. Parkeren is gratis. En je kan s'avonds nog een biertje, wijntje of iets fris kopen om op de kamer of buiten op het terras te nuttigen. Personeel is vriendelijk.
