The room is quite large, the double bed is a 1.35-meter bed, can sleep 2 people, a family of three live, with four 28-inch large boxes for children to start school, no problem. I was worried that Hilton’s second-tier hotel would not be in place for health services. The renovation time of the hotel was quite long, but the facilities were well maintained.

This is room 309. Our first visit here, we have no complaint everything was good. We loved how big the room was and how it’s decorated. Everything was just perfect until our second time staying here. We checked in an earlier time (12:56 pm) do to a special request we made online. When we got to our room and looking around to make sure everything was clean, we saw a juice bottle inside of the trash can, the sink was all wet and there were lint and dust under the nightstand. The only thing that really bothered us was the juice in the trash can. To us, it felt like someone stayed in that room for one minute and decided to exchange a new room for who knows what reason. So at this point, we just wiped down everything and anything in that room. Second, since the mirror is Bluetooth, our stay kinda sucks bc we didn’t know what’s the pin to connect to the Bluetooth. Overall, it was a good stay

The decoration style is retro, the front desk service attitude is very good, the check-in is very fast, the lobby is super beautiful, and the surroundings are very convenient. It takes only two minutes to walk to the city hall. There is also a subway near the entrance. It will be fast everywhere. If parents go to Philadelphia next time I'm sure to play this

Reception was great, housekeeping friendly. Reservations were awful -- booking extra days around a wedding block was ridiculously difficult. Getting in and out requires taking an extra elevator from the entrance, which is not really a security extra as anyone can take it. Note that the lowest floor of rooms (#4) does not require keyed entry, but other floors do. COVID rules meant no daily room cleaning, although towels and amenities were graciously offered by staff. The bar is WAY overpriced -- there are good places to have a drink nearby -- and the bartender the night we stopped there had no idea how to make a simple martini (but he was very friendly and offered good service). The room was large though dimly lit. The hotel location is terrific if you want to take in Chestnut Street and Rittenhouse Square (although I don't really see what's the big deal about this rather average size city park). It's a 2-mile walk to the Penn/Drexel university area. When asking the doorman for a cab, he made a quick phone call and warned us that it would take 15 minutes to arrive -- from then on we booked Ubers to get around, although they were a bit more pricey than the cab. If taking a cab, better to hail one yourself. Overall, this is just an average city hotel that does not go out of its way to be helpful. Seems a very good place to have a business meeting, but not really targeted to tourists. And one more thing: I'm not sure what they use to wash the bathroom tub and tile between guests, but it's REALLY SLIPPERY, especially the tub. No plastic mat provided, so used a small towel. I fortunately was not badly hurt when my foot went out from under me and I fell the first time I stepped into the shower.

From the outside the hotel looks updated but inside it is a time machine back to the 70s. Other than the newer carpet the rooms were decades behind what you would expect from a Marriott property. Breakfast was less than minimal, but the coffee was at least ok. The staff is one high point, everyone I dealt with was a delight, and even if simply walking past you they smiled and said hello.

The hotel was worth the rate. I enjoy Hilton hotels for travel. The only issue I had was that there was a group traveling with children who checked in the day after I did and they were very noisy. They were staying between several rooms and the children would run through the halls. The adults would hold loud conversations in the hallway which was disturbing at times.

The location is awesome. Easy to get to and from the major attraction in the city. i was there for the Penn Relays and it was a great, easy scenic 1.5 mile walk to and from each day. Got my exercise while seeing the city from on foot. Best of all on my walks this was how i decided where I would eat breakfast and dinner. So I was able to try something different each day. i was a little tempted to try Ruth Chris but I did not :(. The train ride to and from the airport was quick, easy directions to follow and though not the most scenic ride on the train, seeing the steel and stuff looks industrial America. I likes!! I did try one of the take out Chinese food spots ..oh man.. that was colorful to say the least...Bring Your Own Bag!! What an experience that was.. I guess its a city thing. The room was nice. I got real comfy real fast. The bed was super comfy and the view reminded me of my college days in NY. Just watching cars go by and at night with the lights reflecting off the windows creating various patterns. My only challenge was the TV... can you believe after all that good stuff my issue was the TV!? Just the hardest thing to navigate. maybe its cause I dont watch enough TV. :).

Just inside Chinatown, eating around is very convenient, and it is close to several major attractions in Philadelphia. It is a ten-minute walk to see the Liberty Bell. In fact, as a turnaround to Boston, there is no plan to walk in Philadelphia. Overall good, but the parking lot stops relatively far, you have to take the elevator to come in from another door, one night seems to be 30 knives, counted as a cheap parking fee in the United States.

The road in front of the hotel has a main road and a secondary road with a separation belt in the middle. Baidu navigation has always been prompted to sit on the road, the result has been walking on the left main road, eyes can not enter the hotel, have to turn back. The room was clean and the service was good. No coffee pot, no hot water, instant noodles can't be soaked. The left hand of the hotel is not far from the intersection. There is a Chinese-opened restaurant. It is good to pay for food by self-service.

Could not have asked for a better location! Close to everything and within walking distance of small shops, family owned restaurants and lots of history. Staff was nice. The pool was not open for the season but I saw no signs anywhere for where it was even located. I at least wanted to check it out. Room was clean and well appointed with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The hotel itself was quiet however it's sandwiched between a fire station and the Franklin Mint (which was having some work done) so outside it can be noisy but that's big city life and not unexpected. If you are a person who needs dark to go to sleep you'll need to do some prep work. Lots of things with lights in the room- the clock, the TV, hallway light coming thru the peekhole, the microwave etc. Once I unplugged or covered all the lights up it was fine to sleep. The bed and pillows were comfy. The hotel restaurant was probably the least impressive thing. Not sure if it's because of Covid but it didn't have a great selection and was kind of pricy. The chocolate cake was the bomb and all the staff were nice and friendly. Just really limited menu. We only ate breakfast there because there were so many other great local restaurants to eat. I recommend Big A$$ Slices pizza and National Mechanics.

Only stayed for one night. The overall feeling is still good. It is within walking distance of the Independence Palace and the Liberty Bell. It is very close to Chinatown and there is no problem with dining. Mainly talk about self-driving: Considering the congestion in New York City, choose to return the car in Philadelphia. This time, the Budget Car Rental is 800m away from the hotel, but in a small office in another hotel, you need to look for it patiently. The next day, take the Greyhound bus Greyhound to New York. The station is about 700m away from the hotel. It is also very convenient.

The hotel is in the university town, the hotel has a parking lot, check with the hotel when you check in, will give you a card, charge 35 knives a day, can enter and exit multiple times, the cost is recorded in the room. This kind of parking is very convenient, and it is more economical. Otherwise, it is difficult to find a parking space on the street and the parking fee is expensive.

As a mariott bonvoy member im really disappointed. Stayed for the night and reserved a suite with lounge access. When reserving with lounge access you will only be allowed to eat in lounge for breakfast when the room amenities say complimentary breakfast. I have traveled many places and staying in lounges you would expect a little more ”upscale” then the $17 Continental breakfast they charge in the restaurant. I did not eat in the restaurant so I don't know what they served but I hope it is better than what they serve in this lounge. The eggs were hard yet watery the sausage was disgusting. Ended up having a bagel in a bag (couldn't even splurge for fresh bagels?l) Also the Starbucks coffee is in an urn you do not get the fresh coffee that they are pouring fresh in the lobby The room was ”ok”. There were stains all over the living room sofa and there was water in the middle of the entry way which we have no idea where it was coming from The a/c unit ran all night sounding like toilet was constantly running. The lights above the bed it took us a bit to figure out where the little black button was to turn the lights off. (On the left side of the bed on the head board there is a little black button that blends so it is hard to see) My family use to stay here years ago when it was the Sheraton and I will say this was really disappointing for a Marriot. All in all not worth any of the upgrades. Just get a standard room and pay for the Continental breakfast. Seems like you're punished for upgrading

The stay was a bit tortuous. First of all, I didn't have my reservation information at the front desk after I arrived at the hotel. I contacted Ctrip butler and fortunately helped me to call to solve the problem. Secondly, when I arrived at the room, I found that the room type was inconsistent with my booking, and communicated with the Ctrip housekeeper for a long time, indicating that I booked a suite but the hotel gave me a one-room room, and finally said that I would make up the difference. It's really not easy to think about it. Ctrip's overseas hotels are obviously shortcomings. Many problems have been encountered in booking Ctrip's overseas hotels for so many years. Besides this hotel, the location is very good, it is close to the bus station, and there is a big market across from it. I booked breakfast at the hotel, but I didn't know it was over at 9:30, so I didn't have it late. Overall pretty good.

The hotel is not bad, check in and check out are met with a special nice front desk, Xavier, must mention it. The location is very good, on the edge of the downtown area, it is very convenient to go shopping and drinking. It is not far from walking to the Barnes Foundation Museum. Of course, a little more is the Art Palace and the Rodin Sculpture Museum. There is a Chinese restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, which is better than the chain fast food. The Chinese stomach is OK. The rooms are large with kitchen, free coffee and mineral water, and the kitchen is stocked with a small bottle of detergent. There is a cloakroom, not a cabinet, a big box spread out no problem. The interior of the room is relatively dull, the hotel is very old, but the competition is spacious and the experience is quite good.

Called ahead and spoke to a representative about options for decorating the room prior to arrival. Was told I could have white flower pedals sprinkled around the floor/bed. And also recommended having champagne chilled on ice upon entry. I ordered both and told them what time I was arriving. Upon entering the room neither was in there. I went to customer service and inquired about it. They asked me the name of the person who I spoke with? Which I didn’t have but they found it on my account in their computer. They couldn’t explain why neither were done for me. Thirty minutes later I got a phone call saying they are bringing the champagne up and comping it. Problem is we were ready to leave for dinner and never got to enjoy it. One thing I didn’t like about the room was the lack of bathroom privacy. The doors swung open like western bar doors and you could see in between the doors plus there was no exhaust fan when you showered which fogged up the mirror.
