The RC Key Biscayne is a lovely and truly tropical resort. We have gone twice in the last year because our beloved Maui is just too far for us with all the complications that were/do exist. It is an impressive resort and the whole vibe is very similar to a Hawaiian, Mexican, etc...(harder to get to for some) resort with the same stunning ocean views and long sandy beach for walking. We are two adults traveling and so did not use the RC Kids Club or the large (and fun looking) family pool. We enjoyed the adult pool and did purchase a cabana which was a luxury but I can highly recommend (Shade, TV, dedicated lounge chairs outside the cabana, welcome drinks, champagne (we subbed white wine), fresh fruit platter, a fridge with soda, water, candy bars, juice. With tip it was a bit more than $600 a day but again, we thought it was worth it. Our room was a meh. Very outdated. The bathroom was likely from the late 1980s/early 1990s. We did opt for Club level and it was wonderful. But I would say the RC Key Biscayne needs to get on the renovation because for $1500 a night, not very impressive. The two things that ding a fifth star were the extremely unfriendly bartender at the downstairs bar (which is lovely and a wood paneled private club feel). Maybe an off night but he was brusque and unwelcoming to us and the people we saw seated at the bar when we were there. No need for a faux joviality, but be welcoming. Our waiter at the Lightkeepers dinner was truly bizarre. We had a reservation, were on time and didn't have an extra request. But the reservation was in my name (a woman), our older male server was very dramatic in treating my husband as you would typically treat the lady at the table (asking him what he wanted to order first, re-pouring the wine for him first etc...) My husband finally said, "you can pour for my wife first." It was very pronounced and we don't know what brand of misogyny or cultural "Ladies don't make reservations" was going on. Or whatever it was! It was funny but also weird. So thanks for that. Never ever seen this even at a business meal where there is one woman and one man. Literally he was projecting and I am not sure what. I'd nip that in the bud, RC Lightkeepers. I really would. But otherwise, service was delightful, staff hardworking. Our first lunch at Lightkeepers, a piece of paper (used between cheese or meat patties) was cooked into one of the burgers, it was not a huge deal, but our server was "on it." She apologized profusely and comped that burger. These things do happen but she handled it very professionally. An absolutely gorgeous wedding was held one night of our stay and I can say, the RC Key Biscayne knows how to stage a wedding. It was stunning and so tasteful. As guests not at the wedding, we never felt inconvenienced. We will return, but make sure all reservations are in my husband's name-I kid! But kind of not...

The parking fee is 25 dollars. The bed is very comfortable, there is a park next to the walk. The environment is OK. Half an hour walk from the city center. The waiters are also very welcoming. There is breakfast, but I did not buy it.

The hotel is in a great location, in the CBD, and surrounded by high-end office buildings. 15 minutes walk with whole foods, there are many restaurants, very convenient. The room layout and facilities couldn't be more satisfactory. It feels like home. It is also very convenient to cook. The tableware and equipment are also complete. I will choose Fortune House next time!

We called at 4pm to ask if they had a hot tub and they said they did. Upon arriving at 6pm they said it was closed for the evening. Are you kidding me? Then we are told we can park our car if we want but the valet service is required and is $30. Outside the valet person was nowhere to be seen and then he insisted we had to use him even though the front desk person said it was optional. After several minutes of back and forth he finally explained how we could park our car ourselves. Then they said the restaurant which included how we would get breakfast the next morning was closed Monday’s and Tuesday’s and we arrived hungry. Finally the elevator requires a card to activate and it was confusing causing us to have to go back to the lobby to have someone teach us how to use the elevator. It was impossible to find the way out to the garage where our car was stored. Such a waste of money. The rooms are dated as well. Not sure why anyone would pay what they ask if they knew how terrible this place was. As a couple it’s insulting to not be allowed to use a pool or hot tub after 6pm. It’s not preschool. We continuously had to wait several minutes at the desk to see anyone who could help us and the front desk staff was condescending when we had trouble with the elevators as well as the wifi password. The floors were hard and uncomfortable. The bed was nice and the pool area attractive (which we couldn't use since we arrived after 6) but those are the only things about the place I liked. Worst property by far I have stayed at in the Miami area for our needs. If you want to be in the center of Coral Gables and care about nothing else including getting ripped off it's fine. Otherwise, steer clear.

Very good five star hotel. Good location, surrounded by high-rise apartments and glass office buildings. If you need to drive in and out of the parking lot multiple times by car, it is recommended to use the hotel's Valet, which costs slightly more than US $ 48 a day, but unlimited access, only need to call 10 minutes before the car. If you only need to go in and out once, you can self-park. There are only a few street parkings around the hotel. The room is large and the facilities are fully functional. The toilet is separated from the wet and dry, which is very user-friendly. The pool area service is in place, you do n’t need to worry about it during the whole process, just enjoy it ~ the food is very delicious, I ordered three dishes, everything was delicious

We stayed at this hotel for a quick weekend visit to Coconut Groove. It was average overall. The hotel and room were decent, but for the amount of money they charged for the room, it often felt like we were being nickel-and-dined. A good example is the wifi. They make you buy a day pass for $12. The cost is not going to make a difference, on you overall bill, but very few places do this anymore. They also, have an 18% gratuity added to everything. Chances are, I'm going to tip 20% on everything, but when someone does it for you, it's a different feeling. The icing on the cake was a $600 litem on our bill for a drink at the bar. Turns out it was an error and more like $70. Oops. Going to assume it was an honest error. The staff was nice and the location is great. The pool was nice too. It's just a few of the little things that can make a difference.

The one with a kitchen was booked, and it had a balcony, and it cost me 25 dollars. In the end, I added 40 dollars to Fudge. It was said that it was a bay room. When I entered the room, I got a city view. I just stood on the balcony. There was a little shadow of the sea far away. After more than half a month, I found that the upgrade fee was credited to US$101. After processing by Ctrip, the hotel refunded US$56, which should be US$61. Very satisfied with Ctrip.
