|0.56km from city centerWe checked in yesterday (02 Jan 2024) for 2 nights stay. The hotel seems to be fanciful but breakfast is priced very expensively at 21€. We wanted to try this new concept of the Accor group anyway so why not? The room was in general clean but to my horror, upon lifting up the toilet bowl cover, I was greeted with a toilet bowl full of yellowish piss that had not been flushed away. That meant that the toilet was never ever cleaned before releasing for next guest.. or the housekeeping took a convenient piss before leaving and forgetting to flush. Anyway, it could be a genuine mistake so let's not make a fuss at this moment. But I was disappointed to see that there was hardly any amenities in the room. No tea or coffee bags with water boiler. There was only a packet of drinking water in the minibar. It turned out that the water was not even replenished the next day. What was funny: there is a sticker on the minibar door that indicates vending machine available on ground floor. But it could not be found. When we asked the receptionist, we were told that the vending machine is still yet to be installed ??!?!? And suggested to us to go to their restaurant bar to order water or drinks instead. No way ! I am not going to pay for pricey drinking water or tea from their restaurant. Not mentioning that the service charge we will have to pay for getting drinking water there. For a hotel at this tariff, I expected at least to have the basic water, teabags and coffee bags available and replenished! At least most of the basic hotels in France offer this. Some hotels would even offered a coffee machine with capsules. It makes us started to look around the room with a more critical eye. Indeed not only drinking water and basic beverages are not offered. There was only a small bar of handsoap and a miserable piece of body soap placed in the shower to be shared by two occupants of the room. Not only that, the next day after housekeeping, the body soap was not replenished at all. We came back into the room to see the previous bar of soap lying there miserably. This is not what we expected from an Accor hotel which is usually a brand we feel confident in. Mama Shelter tries to be hip and fanciful in their loud decor but in real fact is lacking in hospitality by trying their best to save up whatever they can from the basic necessities (soap, drinking water...) Definitely I will not ever stay in this chain ever again. I sincerely hope Accor group will review and see if it fits their usual standards, because I surely don't think so.

|0.73km from city centerThis hotel is very centrally located in Djon ,close to all amenities and within walking distance of the old town The majority of bedrooms overlook a private central courtyard belonging to the hotel and this provides secure parking for guests The building it's self is traditional French build ( I read somewhere it was originally a staging post ) Very beautiful and retains lots of its original features The hotel is very clean and comfortable and the bedrooms are spacious ,warm and inviting Bed linens are spotless Continental breakfast is available and offers a excellent variety of eats to set you up for the day ahead Staff were very friendly and helpful The hotel has a lift to reach all floors and is dog friendly for a small nightly additional charge Djon it's self is a very attractive well maintained town , well worth a visit if travelling through france and you will find a very comfortable stay at this lovely hotel if required

The hotel restaurant is 2 stars in Michelin, a small dozen tables. Very sorry that I didn't book in advance and missed it. However, there are many restaurants within a minute's walk around. Special snails and red wine beef face meat are worth trying. mustard roast chicken is especially recommended.

|0.26km from city centerStayed one night in a studio. The hotel is perfectly located in the old town, minutes to shops, restaurants, palais des ducs and les halles public market. The hotel was clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was tasty and well stocked. Only drawback was the wonky elevators , drab hallway decor, and the fact that the desk is closed between 1 and 3 pm. If you arrive early to Dijon and wish to check your bag until check-in, make sure you get there by 1! Other than that, the place was top notch and we enjoyed our stay.

The room was OK. for a budget hotel and have been steadily improved over the years. There is is great restaurant across the carpark - excellent dinner at a good price. The big disappointment this visit was the breakfast. As before, it was a simple continental breakfast. This time the croissants were stale and seemed to be from a previous day and the baguette was chopped into thin slices, so that it dried out. The coffee is now from a self-service machine, but tastes ok.

Prices for food seemed good, but with 20+ eateries in the huge mall immediately next door we ate out. Great stopover when travelling through France. Parking is immediately outside hotel and is outside, so no height restrictions and well lit at night. Rooms have the basics you need and the staff were helpful. Additional city tax we weren’t aware of but is 10 Euro per room. Super Easy, convenient hotel.

It is an old house with a history of three hundred years, and the red door is very eye-catching. A total of four rooms, we lived in Room 3, very spacious, is a suite, 2 large and 1 small, the sofa bed in the living room and very comfortable. Although the appearance of the old house is very historical, the interior decoration is very new and modern, with a spa bath, separate toilet and bathroom. There is also a swimming pool that can be used, which is great. The owner has a dog and a cat, very cute, breakfast is also very good, is the high-end B&B, there is a large floor-standing bookshelf on the side of the stairs, you can freely read, but unfortunately all French-based, can only look at the picture The atmosphere is very good, quiet and tidy. |4.31km from city centerReally well appointed hotel,very modern.It’s situated north of Dijon which seems a bit out of the way on first impression but there is a cheap and regular tram service the T2 and the stop Pole Sante a few minutes from the hotel and there is the Toison d’ Or ,a vast shopping complex with everything under one roof,which is a 15/20minute walk or few minutes drive away.The rooms are very good,we had 106 on the first floor,maybe needs a few more electrical sockets,but the facilities in the room are very good,we have say a big thanks to the receptionist on duty when we turned up at lunch time and asked if our room was ready(The check in time is 4.00pm).She was very helpful and said she will attempt to get our room ready asap,possibly around 2.00pm,so we walked over to the shopping complex,again thanks to her for the directions,to kill time and we were glad we did,it’s got a food court so finding lunch was easy.She also advised us about the tram details,where to catch it etc.She really went out of her way to help us. There is a secure gated car park accessed by a code given at reception. We will certainly return when we are in the area but this time stick to the 4.00pm check in! This is one of the best Kyriads,not far behind the one in Troyes.

Im Sommer wird es sehr heiß in den Zimmern, da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist. Bei geöffnetem Fenster kann man aber nur schlecht schlafen, da sie umliegenden Klimaanlagen sehr laut sind. Both Booking.com and TA can’t tell us the type of charger - fast, slow, Tesla etc. I urge these agencies to take their travellers into the 21 century and provide these filters. This hotel surprised the life out of me. Not only were there a bank of fast chargers in the garage, but the premium for usage was very reasonable. Only problem, as always, was a Belgium Q8 parked in charging bay with a thundering V8 diesel engine - when can we educate these people? Charging for my I-Pace was a doddle. The rooms are well appointed and have all that you could want and the bar is well stocked and staff are multi-lingual. We eat out in a favourite restaurant and will most certainly put this on our itinerary for our regular Provence trips.

Reception staff are charming but unexceptional. You basically take care of yourself here. The Bar is a very popular post-sightseeing relaxation spot with great cocktails and friendly wait staff, with occasional small live jazz entertainment at night.

Restaurant staff were a little over worked in the evening, so could of done with another set of hands. Fantastic food and breakfast. Room was generous in size, but just a little tired and needed a revamp. Cannot fault the cleanliness of the room, though bed was a little harder than I’m used to. Courtyards were lovely, though a little unkempt. Great location being only a couple of minutes walk from the main square, with lots of nice bars, historical buildings and plenty of shops, should you to buy anything. Secure car park right opposite the entrance to the hotel for overnight parking.

The toilet and shower were shared but clean. The next morning we took breakfast, which was also basic but for 5 pounds you can not expect anything more. The lady working at the reception was polite and spoke english so it was easy to communicate.

|3.82km from city centerSimilar to a previous reviewer I’m having to sleep in the car as the hotel could not give me the room I reserved. After driving 12 hours I arrived with two children to the hotel at 10pm to be told the 3 single bed room I booked on HRS and was confirmed as booked is not available and only a double bed is available. I could have booked a two bed for much cheaper elsewhere but paid a premium for the three beds. As I could not find anywhere else to book at 10pm I had to give the room to my children and sleep in the car. Thomas on reception was no help, he gave no ideas to resolve and was quite rude. I mentioned he could call head office or a manager, or move a mattress into the room, or find another hotel to transfer me to, or give me two rooms for price of one. He refused to even consider any of these options, saying it was too late to call anyone or do anything (I think he was going home at 11pm) and he had no authority to do anything (but also said he was the manager) I had paid 85euros+tax for the room. His only offer was another room for 100euros! More expensive than the one I had already booked! He even offered 10% off to take it to 90 which I took as him making a joke. Avoid this hotel, they seem to have a broken booking system and no customer service. Car park was locked on arrival and had to wait for another guest to use their code to let me in. At least it was secure to sleep in the car for the night. A complaint to Louvre Hotels has resulted in them shifting the blame to HRS but this doesn’t resolve the rude service and no help to solve the problem on the night leaving a family to work out how to sleep in a car.

The climate is effective and adjustable individually. The hotel is located near the rocket, but it is not the case: it is very soundproofed. The breakfast is correct, nothing has missed. Pour les en-cas un distributeur est implanté à l'accueil. Durant notre séjour, une personne, très sympa, pour l'accueil et le service du petit déjeuner (problèmes d'embauche ?) Nous reviendrons.

|2.19km from city centerOn arrival, reception looked nice and welcoming. The guy on reception was polite, helpful, and English speaking. The lift was out of order but made no difference to us being on the 1st floor. The room was surprisingly large. It included a towel each and a packet shower gel. Twin beds were very basic with dated sheets and blankets, not duvets. One pillow per bed, both tired and battered. The toilet and shower room is the plastic modular type fitted into the room and only big enough for 1 person. There is free WiFi and a decent tv in the room. Breakfast is extra and you get a choice of bread and croissant or cereal and fruit, it is not all you can eat. There is an IKEA down the road sob that might be a better option!. Parking is easy and plentiful right outside the front door. If you want luxury, this is not the hotel for you. If you want a cheap overnight stop then this is ideal
