The Ruby Coco is a lovely hotel! Situated in a mall with a Rewe, not to mention some cafes and restaurants, and RIGHT by the station for underground, not to mention the lovely park front, you could not ask for a better location. The hotel itself has a charming Coco Chanel theme, and has a very upscale feel. The room had an extremely nice bathroom/shower with a good/fancy bidet, a nice shower with two sprayer options and decent pressure. It was super nice to be able to get some cold drinks and snacks at Rewe, and get coffee and breakfast in the mall cafe's (which includes a gluten-free bakery!) in the morning. We had two pillows per person, a hard and soft option. No mini fridge or kitchenette, which would be the only thing that would make it even better, but still a fantastic experience. It was delightfully quiet at night, and got lots of broadcast channels on the tv as well. One more note: Check the pictures of the bathroom set up, it's not a room you'd want to share with a coworker. The shower is glass and extremely not private, you will be very "on display" while showering to the room, and the toilet area, while opaque glass, is probably not the favorite of shy bladders.

I was here for one night, visiting a friend, after a holiday and before returning home. Arrival was very smooth: left the car at the entrance, it was parked by the valet service. Smooth! Room: nice, nothing spectacular though, but good! Public places: well, very classic, but ok. Not outdated (yet). Spa: very small, this is a city hotel, you don't spend much time in the spa, you use it after returning form a shopping trip, have a quick steam and a short swim and go for dinner. When i got in the steam room (late afternoon) it was not warm at all... Another client told me they had to switch it on... I understand keeping everything on, consumes a lot of energy, but: this is a 5 star hotel. When I go wanna have a steam, I don't want to wait an hour until the the room has reached the temperature... Bar: ended up in the bar with my friend. Had a lovely night here! Cosy atmosphere, and the blond waiter was so incredibly sexy. Had a gorgeous smile, even behind his mask... We hoped he was gay, but no such luck :-)) I hope they keep the place 'up to date' and don't wait too long with updating (was in the Steigenberger Frankfurt the night before, and that place really looked outdated...). The 'living room' for instance, is a nice concept, but: that place didn't look very 2022.... Urgent need for a makeover. Breakfast: loved it!!! Very very good! And: this interior looks great! Light, very welcoming, nice view!!! Location: the best.

We spent 5 nights here after weeks of trying to find the "Perfect Hotel". The Hotel isnt Perfect, but it is pretty good. The Location is the major plus point!! Next to the hotel is a lovely park that feels like a world away from a city. Across the road from the Hotel is the Konigsalle which is a VERY pretty street with a small canal running through it. A two minute walk has you at the riverfront with cracking views and 5 minutes has you at the TV Tower. Perfect for exploring the major sights. The Hotel is a 10 minute walk from the main train station and as it is flat, it's relitevely straight forward. Our room (535) looked out over a small park and large glass office complex accross the street. Every morning we sat at our large windows (which opened right up), had a bite to eat and watched/listened to the Parakeets(!!) as they made their way from tree to tree - fantastic. The room was clean and although we didnt recieve the complimentary water (4 star and advertised) the coffee pods were welcomed! There was a safe, hair dryer, Nespreso machine, large TV and plenty room. The bathroom was spacious with a deep overshower bath. The Lobby/Reception area is very modern and the glass lifts are a cool feature. Check in and check out was very simple. Covid19 - face coverings in common areas and hand sanitiser provided at the entrance. Staff were compliant also. We felt very safe and comfertable. Very enjoyable stay. Not quite a 4 Star but close enough. Would stay again.

Why disgusting hotels like this are able to keep their license and not be shut down amazes me. Who thinks it’s acceptable to keep original carpets full of stains and filth? If you are too cheap to replace the carpets, at least purchase an affordable carpet shampooer and clean them. Mini fridges do not work, No air conditioning, mildew all in the bathrooms. The pictures with the blue carpet are all of the front lobby. You can use your imagination on what the actual hotel room carpets look like. The owner was also very rude. I did not choose this hotel, a booking travel agency set it up for us for the Medica conference. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here if you are looking for a clean comfortable room. I left and stayed at the 25 hours hotel which was absolutely beautiful and cheaper than this run down place. Obviously the prices at monopol were gouged for the event.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was adequate. The staff were polite and accommodating as we did arrive earlier and managed to get a room and we were also very kindly and free of charge granted a later check out. The location is certainly central and there is easy access to public transport. However, this is not a boutique hotel, at least in the rooms themselves. While the communal areas looked nicely decorated and stylish, our room did not in the slightest meet the same standard. We stayed in room 336 and allow me to itemise a few maintenance items that need attending to: reading light not working as was damaged; side lamp only had the one bulb, tiles in bathroom about to come loose and clearly a lovely water stain by the air con vent. None of these impeded a comfortable sleep or an adequate stay, however they did make the room look tired and not worth its value. Ah and when got a call to the room we were unable to take said call as the phone cord came loose. We attempted to put it back but still the phone would not work. We were prepared for the room being small and it certainly was small and did the job, Lastly, If parking on site do be prepared for tight corners and bends. Anything larger than a Mini does require some manoeuvring and care, you may well come out of the parking with scratches on your side, as you will notice by the many scratches left by previous drivers on the walls.

After your stay you receive a mail with a thank you for staying in the hotel.Always a pleasure to receive such a mail. The hotel itself has a very good situation. A 5 min walk and you are on the Königsallee. 10 min. to the Shadow Arkaden and Altstadt. Also a 10 min. walk to the main trainstation. Furthermore 20 meters away from the hotel you have the entrance of a large parking garage. Alltough we were on the corner of the Oststrasse and Grupellostrasse it was very quiet. This hotel made us super pleasantly surprised. We thought that the room rate of more than 300 yuan per night should be a fast hotel like the domestic one, but it was much better than the fast hotel. The location of the hotel is very good. It is just at the exit of the subway station. There is only one stop to the train station and only three stops to King's Avenue. Then the hotel room is also very spacious, with desks and stools, sofas, and quite a lot of mirrors (you don't have to grab a mirror with friends to get up early, it's great). Strong push!

Unrelated to Covid guidelines (and its restriction) but nevertheless the fact that one could expect a decent standard in a (Chain) Hotel with 330 beds - this hotel proved to be a "FLOP" all the way & that we could have done without (see my list below)! The worst was not even our valid points of complain. The worst was the lack of care. No manager on site available and the staff just followed orders/given script . All we wanted were clean beds, towels, an AC ( since we knew the temps were high during our stay) and breakfast with coffee. Our booking.com price was right, but comparable with prices before Covid. It goes without say that we didn't expect that their Gym & Wellness area to be open ( and usually included in their rate) BUT: The hotel should have had enough time to be prepared to service guests. After they were closed for months and reopened for 1 month already - there was no excuse for their shortcomings. Especially as a hotel chain that advertises to be above standard. We all know the situation when you call a company for service (you paid for but didn't get) while getting the recorded voice & while on hold for hours: "Your call is VERY IMPORTANT TO US, please remain on the line until an available agent can get to you. Or press 0 to leave a message.” And then when you finally get somebody on the line and state your complain, you get some scripted answer like: " I apologize for your experience, but....( I can't help you)" - That happened to us (constantly) throughout our 2 night stay. The standard excuse: Covid 19. Mind you, that I am not the complainer type and I can't remember to have ever written a negative public review. I also want to point out that I don't blame the (reduced) staff, but the upper management. One staff member told us that upper management made such drastic cuts on service to save money and that the few staff members working were either trainees or staff that were put on part-time. So, when the NH Group wonders why guests will start to stay away: Please don't blame the staff, but consider what you could have done better. Trying to save a buck on the expense of your guests will hurt you over the long run. Other guests of yours I spoke to felt the same way. 1. Reserved Room for 3:00 PM was not ready at 4:15 PM ( but if you stay longer than noon upon checkout, NH charges you 10 Euro for every hour). Since it would have taken another 1/2 hour until it was cleaned, we were given a different room. 1 king size bed instead of 2 separate beds we had booked. 2. Room: small & sticky (dusty floors). No complimentary water. 2 towel & 2 hand towels/ no extras for 2 people. 1 tiny bottle shampoo, 1 tiny soap. No plastic lining in the trash bin. AC light on/ but did not work ( as we found out during the night when we woke up at 3 am in the morning sweating. We actually went downstairs to catch a breeze outside the front-door). After we realized that the AC didn't work, we opened the window for the remaining hours of the n

Simple and in fact quite good. One of the older Ibis's with a perfect location if you arrive to Düsseldorf by rail - or by plane, since the communications between the airport and hauptbahnhof is frequent and good. Outskirt area of course, but public transportation is very well working in Düsseldorf. Quiet. Small rooms with even smaller bathrooms, but all in good shape for a night overstay and with AC! A small, quite sweet, but functional hotel in Düsseldorf Bilk, near Heinrich-Heine University. The rooms are quite small and simple, but offer everything you need for a night stay. The service was friendly and premature. Mkr was explained where my room is located, because the building is somewhat uncovered and can be confusing. With the help of the description I found my room. It was clean and ordening. The mattress was unfortunately very soft and not very comfortable. However, I could sleep somewhat well. Great found that both shower and bathroom were with on the room. And that despite the bedroom. Check out is also completely uncomplicated, as you just have to throw your room card into a box at fast check out and then can go. Whether you come back and recommend it further. Price performance ratio is also very good and hardly batterable.

The hotel is located in the southern part of the city, so a bit far away from the center. It is modern and always feels fresh with their distinctive Moxy smell once you set foot in it. With Corona, social distancing and obligatory face masks were always respected. All directions were one-way, so to exit the hotel, you had to take the emergency backdoor fire exit. The room was comfortable but of course a bit small. Just like the Moxy-style ones, they lacked closet, safe and fridge, but for a short weekend stay it didn’t create any problems for us. Had baby food with us, and the receptionist was very helpful to put it in the hotel’s fridge for us. Buffet breakfast was no longer served due to COVID-19, so we had to fill-in a card choosing the items we wanted and the time to be served so they could make it ready for us the next day. The card should be given to the reception before midnight to make sure it gets ready for you in the morning. The breakfast is basic, but diverse enough to cater to all tastes. Car parking at the hotel costs 10 euros per day, and the city parking on the street outside the hotel gives you 2-hours limit only Monday to Saturday, otherwise you need to park it far away in back streets. Check-in and check-our were fast and friendly. Overall, very nice experience and I recommend it for short stays if you plan to discover the city as the tram stop is a short distance walk from the hotel. Also there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

Wonderful stay from before the start! Even before we arrived, the hotel staff was amazing via email. They were able to let my teenage child into our room when she arrived hours ahead of adults due to delayed flights. Front desk staff was always ready with a smile to help with restaurant suggestions, brewery research, reservations, etc. Gorgeous lobby and rooms are well-appointed and bathrooms have more than enough space for guest toiletries. Bartender was very friendly and nice and offered his own restaurant suggestions that turned out amazing. The location near Old Town was excellent. Curtains are dark and room was VERY quiet - helped with getting over jet lag. Delicious breakfast buffet! Only minor issue was that there wasn't an obvious place to put suitcases while we lived out of them (only stayed a couple nights of a much longer trip so didn't need to unpack) so they were constantly in our way.

Accommodated by Jochen Schweizer. The hotel is located in a quiet area with excursions in weinen walking minutes. Parking is possible in the hotel's own garage (reserve a bit close) (I think cost 9E/Tag) From outside the hotel makes an average impression. The reception is very friendly and uncomplicated. The room is quite modern and very clean, also the bathroom. Here you feel well. Safe in the closet. Little sofa. Table with chair. All you need for 2 nights. The best definitely breakfast, in the cellar, something narrow, but a very good choice that you rarely find. Brood, bread, toast, cheese (about 6-8 varieties) sauce (also about 6-8 varieties), rod, sauce, spice, cooked egg, marmelade (self made), about 4-6 juices, coffee, tea, milk, cereals, various straws (garneles in dill, garneles in curry, Herring salad, egg salad etc.). Breakfast is a highlight. In a few minutes you can walk to the Rhine (through the Ergo Park), from there you can then walk comfortable to the city. From the old town with the train to home is a little difficult. But nearby are also locals and restaurants, you don't have to compulsory to the old town. Also a brewhouse is around the corner. We would definitely stay here again and can recommend the hotel.

I have now been to the Maritim Hotel at DUS Airport twice, in April and July 2021. Both times I arrived at the hotel alone with a car full of suitcases and bags... and unfortunately didn't find a luggage trolley available to take the luggage to the promote lobby. When I asked, I was first told in a friendly manner in the lobby that I could use the elevator (from the hotel entrance to the lobby) so that I didn't have to climb the stairs with my suitcases!!! So I would first have to lug the suitcases to the elevator...then out again, then to the lobby... The hotel's luggage trolleys under the stairs behind the elevators to the rooms were chained together, so not usable. Luckily I found an abandoned luggage trolley from the airport outside, which I could put to good use. Anyone who comes with a few suitcases or needs any other help with lugging them is probably already "bathed wet" when they check in at the lobby! Otherwise the hotel has nice rooms. Restaurants were closed or I didn't use them.

An unexpected ‘bonus’ stay due to missing my connection and so paid for by Eurowings (a regular occurrence according to the staff member checking me in). Literally across the road from the airport, the room was great, large and comfortable with heating/air con. All staff I encountered were very friendly. The layout is a bit odd, being all on 1 floor and a large ring. You could end up with a room a very long way from reception. The restaurant was a little bit not to my taste, so even though dinner was also on EW, I struggled to find something I liked, but got there in the end. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, plenty of options, hot and cold food and plenty to drink. All in all, I was very happy with this hotel, even though the reason for my stay was annoying and tiresome, the Sheraton relaxed me after a frustrating day, so job done.

My daughter and I stayed here while going to a music concert at a nearby arena.we stayed for 3 nights. The room was spotless with very comfortable beds, feather duvets and pillows. Breakfast was delicious with a wide choice.
