The room was clean and the environment was good, free parking. There are free snacks and red wine in the afternoon. It was very close to the port, and it was not far from the road. The seafood shop at the intersection was very hot. I wanted to eat there. I had to queue up and gave up. I went to a nearby Chinese restaurant to eat, the boss, Shenyang, gave us Have a few Chinese dishes.

Great Staff. Place was clean and had all the amenities room was large and even had a fireplace along with a jet bath tub and a balconey with a view of the Morro Rock. The only thing missing was a microwave oven, there was a alcove two doors down that had a micowavw in it for your use other than that it was agreat two day stay Due to the covis 19 there was no breakfast being served at this time. I would make it a point book a room next trip to Morro bay.

I stayed 2 nights in the Sunset suite, on a last minute solo escape to the Central Coast. I've been very careful about travel during COVID and I felt very safe at Estero -- the staff wear masks, all the walkways are outdoors, there are only 8 rooms total, so you can easily keep a distance from anyone else. Also, the location of the hotel is in easy walking distance of everything in Morro Bay, so you are never far from your room if you need to take a break and remove your mask for awhile, use your restroom, etc, which these days is extra helpful. It's also very convenient to have Estero Adventures operating out of the building, just downstairs. I rented a kayak one day and a beach bike another day, both of which were fun experiences and couldn't be more hassle-free. Plus you get a discount for being a hotel guest, a nice bonus. Normally I am a "get out and go" kind of traveler who rarely spends time in the hotel room, but again, during COVID, I knew I would be spending more time in my room (no bars to go to at night, etc) so I purposefully splurged on the waterfront views, and it really did make the whole experience so much nicer and more relaxing. If you have the choice, definitely book the Sunset Room, as you have full front and side views facing the bay and the Rock (when it decides to come out from the mist). I thought being right on the water may be noisy, but it really wasn't bad at all. You will hear the occasional sea lion bark, and fog horns or boat go by, but I just turned the fan on when I went to bed and the white noise was enough to drown out any other noises. The fireplace is a nice, cozy touch when the temps drop at night, but don't get your hopes up too high for an actual sunset view, as the sky conditions in Morro Bay do not always cooperate with clear views of sunset! Still worth it tho, if only for the morning view while having coffee on the balcony. Tai at the front desk and Bailey at Estero Adventures were both really friendly and helpful, which is so helpful to have when you're traveling solo. Highly recommend a stay here!

The Indians opened the front desk of the hotel. No one had to press the bell to check out the deposit for the same room rate (but did not tell the deposit) because I didn’t pay attention to the bill because I was late for the day because I was worried about the online prepayment. I deliberately charged me a rent, so I asked Ctrip the next day and asked if the deposit would be returned. I don’t know if I don’t ask if the hotel would be stupid because the general deposit is an integer and they are Holiday amount

We found this hotel on a link on a website and are glad we did. We stayed here one night on our trip down PCH. There are lots of places close to walk to and eat! The hotel offers a small breakfast to grab on your way out. Nothing fancy, but enough to snack on to start your day. The room was super clean and modern. We really loved the way it was decorated. The room and bathroom were big and the bathroom had a walk in shower. The bed was pretty firm, but comfortable. The sheets were soft. The room was hot when we first got in it, due to the west sun coming in as it set. There is a corner unit in the room for AC. We found that opening the windows and door cooled the room off faster than the unit. This was a great room for the price and it was fairly quiet. The night we were there, the fog horn blew all night long and I could hear it, my husband could not. I had to put earplugs in to stop hearing it. If we were in the area again, we would stay here again.

Booked this hotel temporarily, but it was an unexpected surprise on this journey. The hotel was a bit of an idea, but from the beginning of the reception, I felt that the owner was working very hard. 1. Parking is convenient and free. 2. Walk five minutes to the beach and one minute to the supermarket and fast food restaurant behind the hotel. 3. Each floor has a special reading area to provide local bird pictures to introduce local culture. There are also vending machines for drinks. I booked a room with a balcony. I could sit down and smoke and admire the sunset by the sea. 4. The front desk offers afternoon tea from 5 to 6 pm. Breakfast is on the third floor, the food is average, but on the terrace, you can overlook the waves and sails of the sea while breakfast, as well as the big rock. 5. I only booked one night, but found a coupon when I opened the door in the morning. It reads: Don't go so fast, give me a one-night fifty-six dollar discount and stay for another night, and enjoy the beauty and food here. If it hadn't been for my later itinerary, I would really like to stay another night and enjoy the tranquility of the town.

We had a three day getaway and thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Beach Bungalow Inn & Suites. The location was within walking distance to everything Morro Bay has to offer. It’s a short walk to the Embarcadero where you will find restaurants, shopping, and rentals as well as various excursions. A little further and you can walk to the iconic Morro Rock. There’s also a nice sandy beach to the right of the Rock. Please update the website to notify everyone that your room will not be cleaned each day nor is there any breakfast. When you first arrive, they have contactless check in and you will receive your key card taped to their office door. We had to call for this. This important info needs to be communicated more clearly. For additional needs, we asked the very friendly staff for more towels, coffee and toilet paper which they happily supplied. Thanks for a memorable trip!

The town is small, the hotel is close to the sea and there is a little distance to the town centre. There are fewer people in Christmas and the surrounding restaurants are not open. The room facilities are relatively new, the sanitary conditions are good, and the parking is convenient. A good motel.

Our on-line reservation told us this was an EconoLodge - no big deal, EconoLodge is a decent enough chain. But we drove past the place 3 times before we realized it was the right place, but no longer part of the EconoLodge franchise. The owners are working to upgrade the hotel's image - updating the decor, adding amenities you don't normally associate with a budget chain, freshening up the exterior, but the revenues from their budget chain heritage don't allow for much investment in luxury range facilities. The rooms are still small and cramped, the bathrooms barely adequate, and the parking lot better adapted to sub compacts than luxury sedans and SUVs. There's only so much price increase, without a major overhaul of the facilities, that the market will stand before clients go elsewhere, and the owners are pushing the envelope on this. The $69 a night lowest rate must be for a Tuesday in January.! We paid $120 plus tax. Also, you can't do much with the location at a busy intersection a block and a half from the beach - traffic noise is going to be a problem no matter what changes you make. And even in the summer, the nights on the Central California Coast are pretty chilly, so you need somewhat more in the way of blankets and comforters than the hotel provides. On the plus side, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the management is friendly and helpful, and the port of Morro Bay is a two minute walk away.

This Inn was a recommendation for a wedding that we were attending in Cayucas. CA. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot I was reminded of the roadside hotels along Rte. 66 when I was a kid, rooms set in a row. I was mildly surprised how clean and updated the facility appeared. You could tell that they had updated the exterior of the place. When we entered the recently renovated room it looked fresh and clean although it was kind of small but nice. There was a King bed in the room which made it feel sort of cramped with the table and chairs but nothing that could'nt be overlooked. The bed was a pillow top type and very comfortable. The room was a little stuffy so I turned on the a/c and large ceiling fan (not usually provided in these types of places) and the room was very comfortable almost immediately. There was a new mid-sized tv with most of the regular channels that you'd expect but when I turned it on all that I saw was snow. A call to the front desk and they responded immediately and fixed the issue. The normal amenities are provided, microwave, fridge, etc. The only issue we had was when my Wife wanted to go lounge by the pool and read, the gates had locks installed that were supposed to be open at 8am and she went out at abot 9:30am. This Inn is just north of downtown and the Embarcadero, it only took about 5 minutes to get there. Overall, we were very satisfied with the accomodations and would probably stay there again. I knocked off one point for the smaller room and locked gates but it's a nice/cleanplace to stay for the weekend.

I've stayed here several times. I've always been met by friendly and efficient staff and have been very happy with the clean and quiet rooms. The heater is quiet, and I could not hear any noises from the adjoining rooms. It's a convenient location, very close to the beach. There is a park next door - great if you're traveling with dogs. It is a budget motel, so don't expect a mint on your pillow. It is great for a quick stop and good night's sleep. It's one of the best Motel 6's I've stayed at.
