This hotel is convenient if you are attending to some events in NUS or the western part of Singapore. A pretty small hotel but adequate based on the price paid. Not recommended for families as they cater to short time booking of the rooms as well; by the hour rates. So I guess many couples visit this hotel for a “happy” time. Many food joints just round the corner and operates 24 hrs. Thus this is a plus point, just a 3 min walk. 7-11 is also close by.FromUS$62.00

The location of the hotel is convenient, with multiple buses such as 143 and 51 passing by. Not far away is Backstreet, there are many restaurants there, all are delicious, the rooms are small but clean. livable. By the way, the lemonade in the lobby is delicious.FromUS$53.00

The overall feeling of the hotel is very good, the service staff is very enthusiastic, because we have different punch plugs, the service staff enthusiastically borrows our applicable conversion plug. Price: We were here during the super peak Lunar New Year period for a week. This was the only hotel in this area that didn't triple their room prices. That means their management is a fair one. Room: To be really honest, the room wasn't in the best shape. The paint on the bath tub was peeling, and the air-conditioning was the really old, centralized kind that it's always either too hot or too cold, you can't really control it. However, the silver lining was that it was spacious enough (19sqm compared to most other hotels at this price range are 14sqm or less), and for sgd100 in Singapore during a super peak period, we can't complain. Just be wise and bring your own shampoo/conditioner/shower gels. Otherwise, they do provide the good ol' bar of soup and fresh towels, if that's all you need for a simple shower. Service: Most of the staff were lovely, probably because they are older and fatherly, and were more than happy to recommend us places to visit and helping us book taxis. Vincent remembered our names and greeted us warmly every other day (because he works every other day), and even showed us his family photos, helping us with the food and baby chairs for our kids. Really sweet guy. Breakfast: It's always stir-fried bee hoon (thin rice vermicilli) on Tue/Thu/Sat and fried rice on Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun. On top of that, one egg and one sausage, free flow toast, coffee and tea. It's supposed to end at 930am (or 10am on holidays? I can't remember), but they start clearing up by 925am. If you meet the nicer staff, they'll still get you some food. If not, there's always 7/11 nearby. Location/Food: Most who chose to stay here was for its walking distance to NUS (National University of Singapore), or just a few bus stops away from NUH (National University Hospital), or that that they work in the marine line where they need to visit the ports along Pasir Panjang Road just few minutes away. Having said that, this location is God-send for us because it's hard to find food in most neighbourhoods this time of the year (most Chinese stallowners will be on a break!) but not here! Just a 100 metres walk away is a stretch of eateries and stores --- the Chinese Hong Kong restaurant ran by China Chinese, the two prata shops ran by Malays and Indians, and even the Thai store was open throughout this festive season. We were also thankful that 7-11 was open 24/7 throughout too. If you're into exploring the less known places in Singapore, steering away from the usual touristy recommendations, here's a fab list that's really close to this hotel (all of them less than 2 kilometres away): - Pasir Panjang Vegetable Wholesale (and the hawker food centre nearby) - Haw Par Villa - Singapore Yacht Club - NUS LKC Natural History Museum (awesome find!) - Vivocity and the connecting Sentosa, Universal Studios Singapore are indeed touristy, but they're pretty near too, 10-minutes ride away.SOLD OUT

The four of us stayed here on our visit to singapore. The front desk lady charged or room deposit instead of merely taking a credit card number to charge later in case of damages (this was against policy I discovered later). We stayed in a room with a queen bed and two bunk beds, ensuite bathroom, plus a small balcony. The room was clean and comfortable - all features functioned properly. The location is far from the main areas of the city and on the other side of singapore from the airport. A subway station is about 10-15 minutes walk away. A bus stop is directly in front of the guesthouse. It's a solid 30 minute trip away from little india or little china. Being a hostel we had concerns about noise at night but were not bothered by any. We did not utilize the breakfast option but did eat at the restaurant across the street and found it acceptable. On checkout I found that they could not refund the deposit. After working with the manager over the next several days she refunded the deposit to me via paypal instead of a credit to my original card. That was not desirable at all, but was the best she said she could do. On the whole this was a nice stay, I only advise you to be cautious about your room deposit.FromUS$53.00

Was served by Kelson for the two days. I enjoyed hotels in the suburbs, away from the major tourist attractions to explore the neighborhood. This is a business hotel with resort feel.
Upgraded to Club room 1809 for solo staycation. Rooms were clean, air-con is a bit cold. From my window, i can see beautiful city lights at night and sunrise in the morning. Since travel is not happening anytime soon in times of COVID, I can only pretend that I'm looking at the Manhattan skyline.
Towels were provided for the pool and gym.
Breakfast was included in package, along with $10 credit. Food wasn't fantastic, you can give it a miss. Disappointed that Coffee Belt was closed on weekdays. Would like to try their coffee next time.
Walking distance to ABC Brickworks, Alexandra Village Food Centre, Queensway Shopping Centre (an old school mall) and Ikea too. So many dining options. Would have extended my stay had I known there so many interesting things around the neighborhood.

1. The luxurious set, the room is antique, the style of Southeast Asia is strong, the height is high, the bed is very beautiful, and there is a sofa. The bathroom thief is large, there are two faucets, and the two people do not affect each other. 2. There is a cold water in the room with a copper pot. Boiled water can be piled together and drunk directly. Also delivered wine and fruit. 3. Breakfast is a long mountain road on the 2nd floor behind the villa, then in the restaurant on the top, go to the end of the small house and turn right, breakfast half outdoor and semi-open. There are not many things, but you can eat enough, porridge is not bad, bread can be grilled and then eaten. Each person can also order a free meal according to the menu. 4. From the labrador park subway station at night, walk downstairs to the villa, very beautiful and quiet. 5. The younger brother at the front desk can speak Chinese, but a little bit can do it. It wasn't really sound proof. But giving a good score for the extreme huge space and the view from the high floor. Didn't have much option of food but have to grab/Deliveroo or panda. The hotel has a parking lot. Because of the early morning flight, we checked out at 10pm and checked in for 8 hours. However, in terms of area, it is the largest room among the three hotels in this tourist accommodation, which is a pleasant surprise.FromUS$107.00

When we arrive at the hotel at around 12PM, we were pleasantly surprised to be told that we are given a free upgrade to Valley Wing Deluxe Room and given access to the exclusive lounge with drinks, high tea and canapés available for us.
We had our dinner later on at Waterfall Restaurant which was part of the package that we bought on Trip.com. The 3-course meal that we had was really delicious with great atmosphere as we were seated outdoors at the pool side.
The service provided to us was impeccable. Perhaps the only small downside is the accessibility of the hotel if you don't drive. We pretty much stayed in the hotel during our entire trip so it wasnt really a big factor.

St Regis delivers excellent quality service. It all started with a warm welcome and helpful smile during arrival! They are incredibly capable of meeting customer needs, very helpful and responsive as they paid careful attention on each of their guests. I felt really comfortable and doesn't feel lost at all being in St Regis for the first time. Do note that we chose St Regis hotel as our honeymoon staycation, totally fell in love with their executive deluxe room especially the stunning marbled bathroom which is equipped with a beautiful tub in the center. We literally spend most of our time in our hotel room. As we're having our honeymoon there, they surprised us with a chocolate cake and fruits followed by beautiful rose petals beautifully spread all over the luxurious marble table.
One of our favourite is their twenty four hours butler service, we asked for their signature hot chocolate every day of our stay. You can also request them to unpack your luggage or their famous signature bubblebath service. We're glad that we've chosen the right honeymoon staycation in Singapore!

I booked for my fiancé's birthday and in lieu to celebrate New Years. Firstly, early check in was given as to prevent the crowd during the New Years Eve. Very smart move made by the hotel which I am very thankful for! It helps to control the crowd.
Trip.com has emailed me to WhatsApp the hotel as were told by the hotel to request for early check in. Replies by the hotel staffs were fast too!
After checking in, I called to reserve the pool but it was sad I could not go as it was raining! The room was rather small but that's fine by me! The shampoo and body wash given smells nice! I usually do not use hotel's shampoo/bodywash but this hotel's toiletries was quite nice! The view from the toiler was not bad too! You need to of course close the blind to have a private shower. Was given free macaroons delivered by the robots to my room as it was my fiancé's birthday! Super kind gesture made by the hotel staffs! We were super touched!
The next day, when I went down to pick up my breakfast as I choose to take away(can select to dine in or take away), the staff could not find my breakfast order as my breakfast order was misplaced by one of the staffs (the one I gave my order sheet to) But that's okay because I did not mind waiting for them to pack my food again.
I was also granted late check out!
Overall, pleasant stay! The team was all very friendly and approachable. Thank you!

Booked 3 rooms for family staycation. I would like to thank Ms Dillah and Mun kind assistance in arranging an earlier check-in for the 2 rooms. Front desk staff are all friendly and helpful.
The room is spacious and clean. Water pressure of the bathroom is good!
However, I was kind of disappointed that the club lounge did not open. Nevertheless, they do send food and drinks to our room at 6pm, and will refill our drink every 45mins. The lady that serve the drinks and the guy that serve the food was very nice and friendly. The food (chicken chop with truffle mash potatoe) is DELICIOUS, and the white wine (requested during 2nd serving) they offered is nice!!! But didn't had chance to ask what is the brand, as I left the room after 2nd serving. Not sure how long they serve the drink, I guess till 7:30pm?
Great location, so we can easily bring our parents to Haji lane to walk around and feel as though we are on vacation.
Ginger Restaurant decoration is lovely!!! But the breakfast serve at Ginger restaurant was pretty average to me... Wouldn't mind having as a package, but wouldn't pay the price for the kind of food serve. Service at the restaurant were much slower too as staff tend to look at the floor instead of the guest. But its CNY so I shall not comment much. But there's one aunty that serve food with big lovely smile. Its a petty that I didn't take note of her name.
Overall experience staying in Park Royal Hotel Beach Road is good! Would definitely recommend if you are looking at staycation situated at convenience location filled with hipster cafe and nice restaurant.

Actually requested for highest floor with amazing view but they didn’t fulfil my request. It’s okay, they also mention to make advance booking for swimming pool and so we did, but pool is fully booked, felt so disappointed. During check in we try our luck again for the pool, lucky there is last 3 slot of us. Around 7pm went swimming, but no one was there. (Wonder why they say it’s fully book) 😕 In the afternoon try to make booking for pool again, again they say fully book. We didn’t bother to go down to check.
Aside from that, we do appreciate the gifts that comes in the package that include late check out at 6pm, inclusive of breakfast and semi lunch buffet for 2 adults. Room was very spacious and clean. Overall we are happy with our stay there. Definitely we come again.

From booking communication through email, Aisyah was the best. Everything went smooth and all our requests was accommodated. Even the room upgrade. Thank you so much Aisyah! :)
Check in was smooth and Vin was really friendly and welcoming. As for the room (1015), it was almost perfect! Room was spacious enough for two and the view was AMAZING!!! Truly a panoramic view. Balcony was great, but it would have been better if there was a brighter light for lounging out during the evening.
Only improvement I guess would be some of the staff being more friendly specially by the pool and beach area. In other Shangri-la, guests would go directly to the beds and a staff will bring the towels and some water for refreshments. We did not experience this here in Rasa Sentosa. Not sure if this is because of covid. But it would still be great if the staff would in those areas be more welcoming and friendly.
Overall, had a great time and had a great birthday celebration. We would definitely come back for another quick getaway from the city. Thank you so much!

Only 2 bottled water allowed per room. Request for more bottled water was refused. Water kettle was not working well, kept leaking and unsafe for usage. Had to go to plaza singapura to buy 5L of bottled water from cold storage. Upon request for shavers, they could only provide 1 shaver per room even though 2 pax check in. Extremely unhygienic, luckily we brought alcohol wipes.
Doors are not soundproof and can hear other neighbor’s doors slamming very loudly in the middle of the night. Request for late checkout also turned down even though hotel not fully booked (upon checking, there were many rooms available for booking on trip.com)
TV keeps disconnecting too
At this price point, suggest staying at D’hotel @ tiong bahru instead. Better service and not stingy.
