A very small hotel, 15 min. walk from Tanah Merah metro stop. Around the hotel a large Food court ,supermarket, fruit shops are located. Suitable for 1 or 2 nights stay without expecting much. booked a birthday BBQ for friends and it was just alright to say. the room on the upper floor was small enough Just to fit 4 beds (we booked a quad room). the air-con was blast (a friend said that was the best functioning thing). TV was not working properly but we didn't use it anyway. we booked for 2 nights. on the 2nd day morning, housekeeping wanted to clean the room which we said it was fine as we didn't want to trouble them for the mess. the cleaning staffs were all very friendly. things to take note for the $100 deposit. do not pay by nets as there is a service charge of $1. the refund you $100 cash. o work in hotels and I have never encountered this system as everyone pays by credit card for deposits. also, very slow service. we ordered induction cooker and it came after 2 hours and a few more calls to the reception. it was already 7pm. there is a 24hrs shop for BBQ essentials which is good. we wanted to have a late check out. called reception and they said they have to check and ask us to call back in 5 minutes which I did. I was told that the room is booked and we can't have late check out. as I told them that we would pay the late check out fee till 3pm, without hesitation, I was told that u can come to reception to make payment via nets and I can check out at 3pm. very money minded. place looks rundown. can get better value or money at other resorts in pasir ris. would not recommend this place to anyone. all payments have to be made on the on the spot via nets or cash only. Extended Dad's birthday staycation here. (We booked the 1st night with another SRV partner). Value for money with the Singapore Rediscovers Vouchers, compared to other hotels of the same category.
Service: Prompt and friendly especially by the service staff at breakfast who remembered my father's food preferences (i.e. prata). Thank you, Carole!
Room: Well-appointed and modern. The kitchenette is handy for reheating takeaway. Good-quality toiletries are an added bonus.
Lobby and surroundings: Hotel lobby is inviting. Fun vibe with quirky, contemporary art installations around the hotel.
Access: Easy to get to with both the Downtown and East-West lines. Love the proximity to the Changi City Point for dining and shopping at the various sports and fashion outlets. Jewel is also nearby and a fast commute.
Areas for improvement: The room gets a little stuffy, when air-con temperature is higher. Breakfast quality could be improved- but a minor issue with the many dining outlets at the nearby shopping mall.

Booked it by mistake, but after arriving was very pleasantly surprised, great coffee shop and restaurants located side by side. I had a great night, slept like a baby, and woke up late. I’m now a member and will absolutely do it again, perfect perfect perfect. The outdoor area on the second floor was very peaceful and such a great thoughtful idea. I love this hotel so much. However there were two things that upset me.
1) person at check in was unfriendly. Did not even explain to me about the hotel facilities or whatever things that I needed to know. I was not aware if I was being upgraded or not?? My package stated there will be a complimentary upgrade to the next category.
2) I was woken up by the maintenance work beside my room. The engineering team was ignorant while doing their preventive measures. Kept going in and out of the room and was making so much noise. Thankfully I called the reception and the lady who answered the phone was nice enough to help rectify the issue.
So overall I’m happy with my stay. Only the service needs to be improved! FromUS$61.00

I LOVE IT. It is so quiet and peaceful. The rooms and big and spacious you can use the wall as a whiteboard for planning or just playing games. It was such a peaceful get away compared to my previous staycay at other hotels in Singapore. Hated it. The food is good too and its about 5 mins taxi ride to changi village. They even have shuttle service going to changi village at certain timings. Friendly staff and perfect environment to just relax from the rushing lifestyle of Singapore......(since we can't travel overseas now) this will be our go to hotel for sure. FromUS$70.00

Due to travelling restrictions, my husband and I are confined to looking for staycation as our honeymoon after we got married this year. We had a really enjoyable stay in Shangri-la. We requested for earlier check-in at 12PM and was told that it will be subject to availability. When we arrive at the hotel at around 12PM, we were pleasantly surprised to be told that we are given a free upgrade to Valley Wing Deluxe Room and given access to the exclusive lounge with drinks, high tea and canapés available for us.
We had our dinner later on at Waterfall Restaurant which was part of the package that we bought on Trip.com. The 3-course meal that we had was really delicious with great atmosphere as we were seated outdoors at the pool side.
The service provided to us was impeccable. Perhaps the only small downside is the accessibility of the hotel if you don't drive. We pretty much stayed in the hotel during our entire trip so it wasnt really a big factor.
Would love to visit Shangri-la again in future :)

I booked for my fiancé's birthday and in lieu to celebrate New Years. Firstly, early check in was given as to prevent the crowd during the New Years Eve. Very smart move made by the hotel which I am very thankful for! It helps to control the crowd.
Trip.com has emailed me to WhatsApp the hotel as were told by the hotel to request for early check in. Replies by the hotel staffs were fast too!
After checking in, I called to reserve the pool but it was sad I could not go as it was raining! The room was rather small but that's fine by me! The shampoo and body wash given smells nice! I usually do not use hotel's shampoo/bodywash but this hotel's toiletries was quite nice! The view from the toiler was not bad too! You need to of course close the blind to have a private shower. Was given free macaroons delivered by the robots to my room as it was my fiancé's birthday! Super kind gesture made by the hotel staffs! We were super touched!
The next day, when I went down to pick up my breakfast as I choose to take away(can select to dine in or take away), the staff could not find my breakfast order as my breakfast order was misplaced by one of the staffs (the one I gave my order sheet to) But that's okay because I did not mind waiting for them to pack my food again.
I was also granted late check out!
Overall, pleasant stay! The team was all very friendly and approachable. Thank you!

Booked 3 rooms for family staycation. I would like to thank Ms Dillah and Mun kind assistance in arranging an earlier check-in for the 2 rooms. Front desk staff are all friendly and helpful.
The room is spacious and clean. Water pressure of the bathroom is good!
However, I was kind of disappointed that the club lounge did not open. Nevertheless, they do send food and drinks to our room at 6pm, and will refill our drink every 45mins. The lady that serve the drinks and the guy that serve the food was very nice and friendly. The food (chicken chop with truffle mash potatoe) is DELICIOUS, and the white wine (requested during 2nd serving) they offered is nice!!! But didn't had chance to ask what is the brand, as I left the room after 2nd serving. Not sure how long they serve the drink, I guess till 7:30pm?
Great location, so we can easily bring our parents to Haji lane to walk around and feel as though we are on vacation.
Ginger Restaurant decoration is lovely!!! But the breakfast serve at Ginger restaurant was pretty average to me... Wouldn't mind having as a package, but wouldn't pay the price for the kind of food serve. Service at the restaurant were much slower too as staff tend to look at the floor instead of the guest. But its CNY so I shall not comment much. But there's one aunty that serve food with big lovely smile. Its a petty that I didn't take note of her name.
Overall experience staying in Park Royal Hotel Beach Road is good! Would definitely recommend if you are looking at staycation situated at convenience location filled with hipster cafe and nice restaurant.

Actually requested for highest floor with amazing view but they didn’t fulfil my request. It’s okay, they also mention to make advance booking for swimming pool and so we did, but pool is fully booked, felt so disappointed. During check in we try our luck again for the pool, lucky there is last 3 slot of us. Around 7pm went swimming, but no one was there. (Wonder why they say it’s fully book) 😕 In the afternoon try to make booking for pool again, again they say fully book. We didn’t bother to go down to check.
Aside from that, we do appreciate the gifts that comes in the package that include late check out at 6pm, inclusive of breakfast and semi lunch buffet for 2 adults. Room was very spacious and clean. Overall we are happy with our stay there. Definitely we come again.

From booking communication through email, Aisyah was the best. Everything went smooth and all our requests was accommodated. Even the room upgrade. Thank you so much Aisyah! :)
Check in was smooth and Vin was really friendly and welcoming. As for the room (1015), it was almost perfect! Room was spacious enough for two and the view was AMAZING!!! Truly a panoramic view. Balcony was great, but it would have been better if there was a brighter light for lounging out during the evening.
Only improvement I guess would be some of the staff being more friendly specially by the pool and beach area. In other Shangri-la, guests would go directly to the beds and a staff will bring the towels and some water for refreshments. We did not experience this here in Rasa Sentosa. Not sure if this is because of covid. But it would still be great if the staff would in those areas be more welcoming and friendly.
Overall, had a great time and had a great birthday celebration. We would definitely come back for another quick getaway from the city. Thank you so much!

Only 2 bottled water allowed per room. Request for more bottled water was refused. Water kettle was not working well, kept leaking and unsafe for usage. Had to go to plaza singapura to buy 5L of bottled water from cold storage. Upon request for shavers, they could only provide 1 shaver per room even though 2 pax check in. Extremely unhygienic, luckily we brought alcohol wipes.
Doors are not soundproof and can hear other neighbor’s doors slamming very loudly in the middle of the night. Request for late checkout also turned down even though hotel not fully booked (upon checking, there were many rooms available for booking on trip.com)
TV keeps disconnecting too
At this price point, suggest staying at D’hotel @ tiong bahru instead. Better service and not stingy.
