During the check-in and the first night, something unpleasant happened. Fortunately, it was resolved in time through Ctrip's customer service. Thank you very much Ctrip customer service. The hotel should not be too old, it is a new hotel, and the geographical environment is relatively convenient. The hotel room facilities are also good. Breakfast is good in Europe

I just came to Milan to eat hot pot and soup buns. This hotel is good. It is very close to the subway station of Line 1. Only one day ticket for Milan subway has increased from 4.5 euros to 7 euros. There is Carrefour next to it. Cheap. The room was clean and there was a kettle. The receptionist was fluent in English and there was no obstacle in communication. A lively bar was also found nearby, which happened to be the day I stayed. This is my second time staying at this hotel and I personally find it more convenient than Leonardo da Vinci. You can live in Da Vinci by car, and Da Vinci's parking lot is free. Ctrip's price is cheaper than booking, confirmation is faster, and there are groups that can chat just fine.

The hostel is very good for a quick stopover between travelling. Rooms were decent and location was good and quiet. It was roughly 30min walk to and from Milan Centrale which was nice. If I will have any other Milan layovers will use again.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, had some problem with before staying in this hotel, such as lastminute.com trying to send me to another hotel because they couldn't confirm this hotel was open, but i knew the hotel was open because i emailed them before. So i was having it and tried everything i could to stay in hotel venini. Mainly because of the location, its close to the central train station 20 minutes to be precised the closest you're gonna get for a cheap price. There are some cheap restaurants around mainly chinese and italian based, some big shops near by. The other hotel was very badly located, 40 minutes away from the central train station and closer to the cathedral meaning no cheap restaurants. But all this confusion was due to coronavirus. But the worst was yet to come when we found out about city tax something that is common in italy but nowhere on the internet warns you about. In Milan it is €4 per night for 3 star hotels and below and €5 for 4 and 5 star hotels. This caught us of guard expecially when we were staying for 16 nights and had to pay €65. When we went it was a room serviced breakfast that was a form you filled out the night before. You could tick as much as you want as long as it fitted on the tray they brought up in the morning. The breakfast was great, toast, boiled eggs, omlet, muffins, lemon cake, chocolate cake, fruit cake, cereals. The drinks were, orange juice, apricot juice, coffee but small cups not like the british or americans like, tea and hot chocolate. The menu was changing everyday. The first couple of days i was enjoying the hot chocolate until they started charging €3 for it. Sometimes stuff was taken off the menu then was back on. It was on time almost all the time. But all these complaints is due to the pandemic if it wasn't i wouldn't be complaining. The hotel is very clean inside and out, they make the beds and change the towels regularly. The hotel staff were very friendly and talkitive especially the guy who worked the night shifts. The room we had had the biggest balcony, some of the other rooms don't have balconies. I would recommend this hotel, but probably best to wait when the pandemic is over.
Milan is the last stop of our trip to Italy. Because it is a self-driving car, we are more afraid of entering the restricted area. However, we met several ZTLs on the way to the hotel and called to the hotel for consultation. Because of language barrier, the front desk found one The Chinese aunt gave us a call. The aunt didn’t know the traffic rules and gave us the phone number of the boss. The boss also enthusiastically explained the prohibition. When she arrived at the shop, the aunt came down to welcome us and introduced us a lot. , I also praised their boss’s personality 😊, and they have been eagerly asking us to pay attention to safety, especially in Milan Cathedral, where there are more thieves. It is suggested that we can store our luggage in a safe place like a hotel. The room is also very comfortable. Both have enough heating! If you want to go to any place, you can take the subway. The hotel only takes about 3 minutes to walk to the subway station, and you will be on the Piazza Milano. It’s very convenient. I didn’t go to the boss’ restaurant for dinner this time. Go again! ~

Hotels Near Bloody Mary Restaurant In Milan Review
Fortunately, the waiter helped me carry the luggage. There are two narrow steps into the room, which is quite difficult to cross. The location is very good. There is a subway 200 meters away. It is convenient to travel by subway in Milan. I have been in Italy for ten days and finally visit a big city.
Me and my wife stayed here for 2 nights over Valentine’s Day. We arrived early at 11am and were allowed to check in! All staff spoke perfect English and were friendly and welcoming. Our room was perfectly fine and overlooked the street. All the main public transport lines are literally across the road so no trouble getting anywhere. The room has a minibar with reasonable prices, fresh towels and toiletries all provided. We didn’t sample the breakfast so cannot comment on that. Oh and a highlight is across the road from the hotel is the Lamborghini showroom!
Convenient location, around 10 minutes from the Milano Centrale Train station. Its inside of a big street with a lot of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Capsule rooms are decent in size and clean. Heating works properly in the rooms. Expect a fair amount of noise as the capsule is made of thin metal so you can hear banging sounds. Bathrooms are big in size, and clean. If you have your own washing liquid, you can use the washer dryer for free. You also get a welcome drink when you move in. If you are under 27,you dont have to pay the city tax, just to let you know. Overall, it was worth the price and the staff are very helpful.
Clean room. Good service. Lobby staff is very friendly and helpful. They are willing to help you whatever you needs on finding a place or helping to call up train and day tour agents for clarification. Love their services.
The hotel is just opposite the train station and soon arrived.
The room also has a fan.
The little yellow duck in the bathroom is delivered and can be taken away. The hair dryer looks like a vacuum cleaner
The hotel's breakfast is very rich, there are a lot of types, it is delicious, and there are many fruits.
In Milan still have to pay attention to your belongings, especially in Milan Central Station subway station, there are quite a few thieves.
Well, this hotel provides what you need at a reasonable cost. It is a 15 to 20 min walk from the Duomo, so the worst tourist traffic is gracefully avoided at this location. By the way, this location also means advantages for close by visits to restaurants etc. Instead of ending up at expensive tourist traps near the Duomo with si-so food, you can find excellent, genuine small restaurants in this area serving georgious non-over-complicated food and very nice wines at reasonable prices So far, I have only stayed at this hotel for 1 night, so my experience is limited. However, i will book this hotel on my next trip to get more input. The only negative thing noticed so far is the single rooms being very tiny - these rooms are not for the clausrtofobic! Otherwise, the room was good, clean and in good condition. The bed was small, but gave me a good nights sleep. Oh, if you are very (VERY) easily disturbed at night, you may catch the noise from the subway passing under the hotel. I was situated on the 4th floor, but late in the evening when everything else was quiet I could hear a weak rumble from the trains passing by. However, this was not frequent and did not bother me going to sleep. Breakfast! Well, the selection was not vast, but the quality on the offerings were very good and service prompt and friendly. In fact, at this hotel I had the best scrambled eggs and bacon ever! The bacon were very thin and perfectly crispy and the eggs were for some reason more tasty than "normal". Front staff was friendly and helpful. In fact, tThe entire hotel seems to be friendly and helpful in many details. You can e g have complimentary: -Tea or coffe with some bread in the lobby, - An electronic "travelguide" (located in your room) which you can take with you (like a mobile phone) on your excursions in the city. - A bike to borrow to cycle around Milan. As mentioned above, I will explore this hotel further in the future!
Lovely hostel in a terrific location (about 10 minutes by foot from the Duomo of Milan) and very reasonably priced. The room and bathroom were clean and modern. Breakfast was served with social distancing measures, and the staff were really nice and friendly! Grazie mille!
Milan is an expensive city, yet this Hotel is very reasonably priced. A family hotel for more than 100 years, the furniture and art reflects an eclectic collection built over the generations. My daughter and I found it quite charming and delightful. Our twin room was a good size, with excellent air conditioning and chilled sparkling and spring water refreshed in the room each day. Expresso coffees will be made by staff on request at any time, and there is also a bar on site. The bathroom in our room included a full bath and had excellent lighting. The complimentary breakfast provided was a generous spread. We requested soy milk for our coffee on the first morning we attended breakfast (due to allergies) and as none was available we quite happily drank our fresh coffees black. Without requesting, the next day soy milk was on the menu! The hotel is a convenient walk to the metro and the tram stops right outside the door. It took about 20 minutes to get to the Duomo Cathedral. This is not a luxury hotel, nor does it pretend to be. The staff were very friendly, helpful and we will return.
The hotel on a business trip is not bad. There is an Italian restaurant opened by the Chinese. Walk to the pavilion for 10 minutes and walk to Citylife for about 20 minutes. The hotel lobby has a Chinese style, with water and sweets in mind. Breakfast is 19 euros, and the discount is 15 euros, so it is expensive. Check out to 5 euros one person's city tax, the payment still has to pay, a good choice for a special period.
I liked the cozy atmosphere of the decoration and furniture. Really nice idea. The continental breakfast is pretty good. Everything was clean and good managed. The personal i can describe as attentive and polite, that is really important.
This is the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in this week in Europe! The service is very good! Hotel location is also very good! Going out is the famous street! If you still go to Milan, you will still live here! Old building, enthusiastic staff!
1. It is more than 2 kilometers from Milan Cathedral, you can walk to see the street view all the way. 7,800 meters from the nearest subway station, more than 1 km from the car rental point, there is a supermarket nearby, about 200 meters, in short the hotel location is OK, outside the ZTL traffic restricted area
2. There is a parking space at the door, which can be temporarily parked to unload luggage;
3. Breakfast is average, Italian standard;
Insufficient: The room was small.
Generally speaking, the first day of the trip to Italy landed in Milan. If you want to live comfortably, we don't recommend this.
Breakfast is good. The location is ok, 5 minutes walk from the subway station, 15 minutes by subway to the center of Milan Cathedral. The hotel's room reservation department and lobby reception gave zero points, bad reviews! Due to the wrong date of a room, I contacted the hotel before Ctrip and wanted to change the time. No refund was required, but the hotel kicked the ball to Ctrip several times. After the hotel, I continued to fool, saying that Ctrip had not contacted the hotel for changes. The date of stay. However, I am willing to believe that Ctrip, Ctrip's communication service and attitude are very satisfactory, and I would like to give special praise to the customer service. I feel that this hotel has a completely different attitude towards Booking and Ctrip. I hope Ctrip is more powerful in international status! When people say that they are different through Ctrip's attitude, this feeling is super unhappy, I want to continue to support Ctrip! Never stay in this hotel in the future
The best hotel to stay in Italy, although not the momentum and standards of five-star hotels, but the service facilities are good, very satisfied. [Location] 10 minutes walk from the Central Railway Station, 5 minutes walk from the nearest subway line 1 station, there are some restaurant bars downstairs, and Carrefour walks in 5 minutes. [Room] is a lot bigger than the 16 flats I imagined. I don't feel forced, and the hot water in the bathroom is very stable. [Breakfast] is very rich, and you can have a meal until the afternoon. [Service] The front desk is free to help print the documents, and check-out at 12 o'clock is great!
Hotel muito bom por um preço justo! Atendimento excelente. Muito limpo. Local do estacionamento um pouco distante caso haja necessidade. Cafe da manha acima da media de hotéis da mesma categoria. Banheiro do quarto padrão é muito bom. Em minha opinião, é um hotel altamente recomendável.
It can be seen that the old four-star hotel is very particular in all aspects, ten minutes walk from the cathedral. The service attitude is very good, especially the bar brother, who wants to drink some cigarettes at night, although he has already arrived at work, still insist on serving me. For many hotels that discriminate against Chinese people, this is very satisfying to me.
it was a very pleasant stay. The staff was super friendly and were 24/7 available to help or guide in any way. Also, breakfast was a very nice and affordable option you could have! Definitely, a good choice! Grazie a tutti!
Hotel location is good, very close to the Milan Central Railway Station, but the hotel is relatively old, the soundproofing is very poor, knocking on the door opposite to knocking on the door, was awakened in the middle of the night. Travel is more suitable, travel is convenient, there is a Chinese restaurant next to it, it tastes good
The hotel is outside the ZTL restricted area, but close to the subway, convenient to travel, the surrounding supermarkets, restaurants are very close, in fact, there is time to walk slowly to the Finzi Museum, Milan Cathedral, all the way to see the sights, but also feel For a local life, there is free parking and it is suitable for self-driving travel.
Firstly excellent location a 10 minute walk from Romolo metro station. Hotel is immaculate in all areas, very generous single room and a shower that would drown you it is so good. Slept well in a quiet room with good ventilation. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and a nice top floor location overlooking the rooftops. Also only a 20 minute walk to canal side restaurants and bars. Finally, amazing staff - helpful and really friendly. Very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend.
Hotel location is good, 1-2 minutes walk to subway station. The service was super good: the brother at the front desk was very enthusiastic and gave us roses; when we returned to the room at night, we put slippers by the bed and gave us small sweets. Clean and sanitary, but the facilities are a bit dated, and the rooms on the side of the road are a bit noisy, but it did not affect my staying experience. Recommended!
Great hotel, but definitely not the best. Compared to ***darin Oriental Milan we stayed last year, this hotel really has a long way to go. Especially the service of the lounge cafe and the restaurant need to be improved a lot.
15 days, 14 nights in Italy, the most comfortable one of the 5 accommodations I stayed in. 1. The real big bed is not like other hotels / hotels that are made up of two small beds or do not even try to do it yourself. The cushions are very comfortable and the room is very spacious. 2. Breakfast is also OK. Vegetables and fruits can also provide boiled tea. 3. City tax 5 euros / person / night 4. Google navigation is not near but not difficult after the subway station exits Find
Sounds like home away from home. Super cosy, yummy food and really warm welcome. The spaces are extra clean, plus it looks amazing! We had a great night at the karaoke night as well. Everything had exceeded our expectations.
Very good very good! Convenient location, suitable for children to play, suitable for couples to travel, breakfast is very good! There is a parking lot! It is a hotel worth living again! Continue next time!
My daughter and I visited Hotel Oro Blu for the first time last October. Since then we have been back three times. We chose this hotel because it is located right at the metro station to go downtown to the city center/Duomo and has parking in the building attached to the hotel. The first time we stayed at a hotel closer to the center but it is a nightmare to drive in the center and it is forbidden to drive on some of the streets. So for us it is better to have easy access to parking and the metro and not have to deal with the crazy driving in the center. Hotel Oro Blu also has larger than average rooms for hotels in Milan so there is plenty of room for luggage, The beds and pillows are very comfortable. There is cute bar next door. But the main reason we keep returning is the staff at Hotel Oro Blu. Everyone from the front desk managers to the maids have been kind and helpful. Especially one front desk manager Matteo who makes us feel welcome every time we arrive welcoming us back and helping us with our luggage. They really make an extra effort to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. For example, one time the ice maker was out of ice so they ran next door to the bar and filled up an ice bucket for me. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Milan and Hotel Oro Blu!
We were picked up directly from the airport to the hotel at about 8 pm. The door was very small. The front desk was very enthusiastic after entering. The hotel felt that the equipment was very old. That machine was broken ... and then I kept repairing the machine until it took me 30 minutes! Because I wasn't sure if the card could be used, I asked a little brother to accompany me, and said that if it wasn't available, let the little brother come down and change it for me. Sure enough, I couldn't open it.
This card is a big bug. I returned to the hotel late the next night. This card has been unable to open the door. We live on the 3rd floor. Go down and get the magnetic card strip to open the door again. No, go downstairs, just back and forth 4 times! The last time I asked her to accompany me directly! If not, I won't go on! It's okay to drive!
Breakfast at this hotel is OK Eggs Bacon, Fruit Bread! Both yogurt! The fruit is the same for three days! There are only two coffee machines, and one is always broken! As many people arrive, the coffee machine lined up! The place to eat breakfast is a bit small. It is crowded after 8:30, and many people have nowhere to sit! My mother and I rushed to eat to give up seats!
Very close to the subway purple line, 6-8 minutes walk away!
There are also some pizza shops and small supermarkets opened by individuals, and there are also pharmacies opposite!
The hotel room is small, the beds are small and too soft, but the air conditioning is nice and warm! We arrived at the end of November, it was raining, it was cold, and the hot water was good!
This hotel is very poorly soundproofed. My mother and I were able to sleep well, even if the sound of the corridor was very loud in the middle of the night!
The hotel is in a typical old Milanese house, which is quite unusual and therefore interesting for tourists. The reception is at the first floor (there are about 10 steps you can't avoid at the very entrance, so careful if you have very heavy luggage. no clue if there's a system for wheelchairs or strollers). The elevator is a bit small (again, old Milanese style!), but without luggage you don't have to wait for it all the time, since the stairs run just around it. The location is fairly handy, the street quiet and the room (4th floor) was surprisingly silent. A bit small, and the bathroom, without the window, was slightly stinking. Not pretty, but handy terrace facing the main road. We had a good room service with new toiletries and clean towels every morning. The reception is open 24/7. If the prices were lower, it would gain a 4th star.
Due to the business trip to the hotel, most of the time will change. For the reservation or early departure, the check-out fee needs to be changed. After all, it is not reasonable to leave the store and pay the room fee in advance.
