We came with a large group of mostly older people and stayed Friday night and Saturday, full board. I cannot comment about the value because it was a package deal including bus and guide, but the hostel was chosen as an economical place to sleep at night with good food and a large conference area. The rooms were basic as expected, small fridge, small kettle with some black coffee packs and sugar, TV. The twin beds were ok. Our room on the street towards the park had a nice view. Fri dinner and Sat lunch were tasty, with several choices for main course meat as well as side dishes. The Sat afternoon meal was non-meat traditional and also tasty. There was also another large group but the lines moved fairly fast and there was a lot of extras in the main courses for seconds. The kitchen crew were courteous. The location was great for us since we were looking for something pleasant and quiet across from Ganei Yehoshua, (Tel Aviv's 'central park') which offers a few kilometres of river side walking/bike paths which go all the way to the beach (20 minute walk).

This hostel was phenomenal. I have been to 50 countries and stayed at countless hostels and this by far is at the top. Breakfast is amazing! Fantastic variety (like crazy huge variety) Stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm and each bed had its own plug, light and curtain which was sweet, felt very private. Very aesthetically pleasing! So clean, modern and trendy Had lots of activities offered (however didn't get a chance to try any) Did not find it an overly social hostel however didn't really take the initiative to socialize with anyone as I didn't really have time and was traveling with others! All different ages Maybe a bit far from the main touristy spots of Tel Aviv but you can reach everything by walking (or lime scootering) down the beautiful boardwalk Staff super friendly and helpful!

Traveled, took a photo of the restaurant (Figure 123), scheduled breakfast, breakfast is quite good. The restaurant is a small bar in the evening. Figure 4 is outside the window, the room is too messy to shoot. Walking to the beach for about seven or eight minutes, there are gay friendly beach and dog friendly beach, (Figure 7-8) are very good. The location of the accommodation is a certain distance from the old town of Jaffa. It is not cheap to take a taxi. The hotel stayed at 3 pm, and the next day it was 12 o'clock. On the day of departure, I booked a taxi for 400 sher to Jerusalem, about 780 yuan.

The location of the hotel is good, not far from the bus station. No parking facilities are provided, but there is a large paid parking lot at 50 meters, which is very convenient. The hotel's breakfast is the best I've had in Israel. Don't give too much hope to Israeli food. It should be an experience. A young man at the front desk was very enthusiastic. After checking in, he called the room and asked if it was agreeable.

I had never been to Tel Aviv before and wasn't sure about what to expect of this accommodation. Sharni, our host was amazing; nothing was too much trouble and he even managed to help us with some very heavy luggage! The rooms were clean, beautifully appointed and the coffee machine much appreciated. Thursday evening drinks and refreshments on the rooftop was a lovely touch and a great way to meet people. The location was perfect and I would highly recommend this property. When next in Tel Aviv, we will definitely return. שהייה יפה, תודה

The hotel gave us a sea view room and the room rate is really cheap. It also has a double breakfast. It is very convenient to go around. Overall, the experience is really good! The missing items in the room can be called to check out. It is also very convenient. The fly in the ointment is that the site has to pay taxes, but in fact it does not have much impact. I hope I can live in a cheap hotel next time. Hahahahahaha

Toda raba to the entire team of the Alma Hotel for making our stay so wonderful and special. The staff were outstanding with their support and fulfilling every special wish, from the moment of first contact for the booking until we picked up our suitcases after a day tour in the evening. We felt at home immediately, the room was fabulous as well as the food, the roof top lounge is like a dream come true and the patio with the restaurant like an oasis. We enjoyed our stay from the minute we arrived - actually we did not want to leave again. Merci beaucoup to the entire team for the wonderful time, we will be back for sure!

Stayed here as part of a solo tour of Israel before a family wedding. I usually prefer smaller hotels to large impersonal ones. The Saul is excellent: modern, clean, with a stylish functional design. I stayed in their smallest room since I was alone. It was very comfortable; I’d consider a larger room if going as a couple. Amenities like the 4th floor lounge and 5th floor sun deck, available drinks, add to the convenience. The location is great, on a quiet street, within a few minutes walk to the beach, Rothschild, and other attractions. Best of all are the staff: kind, patient, fluent in English, always eager to help.

We booked 2 rooms, 1 double room with balcony and 1 triple room. The rooms were super clean, vibrant design, quiet, comfortable beds. Rooms well equipped with coffee machines and the double room included also a refrigerator. Service was outstanding, young staff that really wants to make you feel comfortable - Mika Nadav and Amit Ben Moshe were so nice and Ido Mamon's breakfast hospitality was super welcoming. The facility is beautiful, few buildings well located in a quite street in the amazing Neve Tzedek neighborhood. Walking distance to Rothschild avenue and main attractions. Breakfast choice is limited however coffee was great as well as the service that came with a smile. The working space is a small, narrow room. Not that comfortable and not COVID days best choice. Perfect stay and we will definitely come again!

The staff at reception were terrible! From the very second we arrived, throughout our stay, everything we had to do with them was annoying and difficult. Partly probably due to some very strange rules (e.g we were asked to pay in advance for the rooms and not allowed to give a credit card number as security until we leave and pay with another card, which was not with us at check in, they also charged our card a security amount of €200 without even telling, let alone asking us before doing so). We’ve asked for a few things they might have for the children, and never heard back, including when we needed a thermometer for one of the children I called because I was alone with them and couldn’t go down to reception. I never heard back from them for over an hour and had to go buy one when my husband got back later on. These are just examples, it was like that with everything we needed or asked and they were generally unpleasant. Perhaps it was the overload of the second part of August? The concierge was on his mobile on a private call and we stood there for 5 minutes until deciding we better go out and get a taxi on our own. The list goes on and on....

My Israeli born wife who visits Tel Aviv each year always stays at the Miami but this was my third visit and this year we had a friend stay with us. I honestly cannot understand some of the negative reviews which definitely don't match our experiences. This is not a luxury hotel but is a superbly located small family-run business which offers great value for money and is clean, friendly and safe and just 100 metres from the beach. The balcony rooms have great sea views and the hotel has undergone extensive recent updating with a very pleasant lounge and bar area with free coffee and tea and very reasonably priced drinks. All bedrooms are comfortable and well equiped with safes and there is free wifi. The hotel is very clean and the cleaning staff are most helpful. A great range of good quality breakfasts are served just 20 metres across the street. The owner/manager Shai are very friendly and helpful and will advise on anything you ask. Reception is manned 24 hours. It is important to note that currenly there is no elevator so it may not suit people with mobility problems. If you want a small, friendly, clean and safe hotel in a great location which offers great value then you will not be disappointed and we hope if you choose the Miami you will enjoy your stay as much as we did.

It is close to the sea and has an excellent location. The room was small, clean and ok, the sheets were a bit dirty. Breakfast should be considered to be of a medium level, but the locals mostly eat cold dishes, and the meat is fish that I don't like. There is no cleaning service in the room after 4pm, and drinks are only given on the first day of stay. The front desk was very helpful and the service was good!

We are well travelled and have stayed in many top hotels all over the world, however we have never experienced true hospitality, warmth and homeliness such as The Norman in Tel Aviv gave to us. I had heard how good it was from others but you have to experience it for yourself. This hotel comes into its own from the minute you walk through the door. “Our home is your home, whatever we can do to make your holiday comfortable we will do”. No request is too much for them and we had more than our fair share of challenges to offer them. Having tested them to the brink I am 100% convinced this has to be one of the most accommodating places to stay. The rooms are luxurious with lovely features. If you can afford it go for a garden suite. The breakfast is truly magnificent and don’t forget to finish with halva and a square of chocolate brownie. The bar including bar staff is fabulous with a great range of cocktails, wines and spirits . A final thank you to the amazing staff on the front desk, concierge and restaurant. If you need anyone to drive you anywhere ask for Eli, he is a very special man

I would definitely stay here again! I chose this accommodation because it was affordably priced, thinking I was going to be getting some slightly better than hostel-type accommodations, but I felt like I was staying in a much classier hotel than I'd expected it to be! The twin-room studio looked recently refurbished, and it was well equipped with everything a visitor might need: it included a kitchenette with cookware and dinnerware, a bathroom with toiletries that were replenished daily, and a much-needed air-conditioner that worked very well (it was 30 degrees while we were there). The flat was walking distance from Jerusalem beach, from Carmel market, and from various tourist-friendly establishments (i.e., open even on Shabbat). The front desk/reception is a 7-minute walk away (I think it's the reception for a number of centrally-managed flats for rent in the area). The staff at the front desk was also very helpful: they helped us book a day tour to Jerusalem, gave us advice about which bus to catch to get to the train station, and let us leave our luggage in storage on our final day as we went around Jaffa. I will be recommending this place to friends!

All in all I liked the hotel, there were just a few things that annoyed me. The first thing was the reception. For some reason it's on the topfloor of the hotel. Why not on the groundfloor? There was plenty of room. The hotel is situated in a beautifully restored Bauhaus building and the rooms are nicely designed and of a decent size. But why were there no hooks in the bathroom or in the room proper? My towels were draped over a chair in the room. I booked a room with a balcony of its own - great. But the chairs on the balcony were very uncomfortable. I tried bringing the chair (with the draped towel :-)) to the balcony, but it was too big. I'm sure the balcony chairs were designed by a very famous designer, but I really would prefer a less expensive chair that you can actually sit in without hurting your back. The hotel is located just next to the Carmel Market and very close to Shenkin and King George Street with a lot of cafés and restaurants, and it only takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach. The rooftop with the bar and the pool is just great and the reason why I'm considering booking another stay a Poli House

At any other time, it will be the right choice. However, the time changed. The first day the cleaning lady walked without any mask. The receptionist told us that she would take care of it. Later that the day - the same. The following day - she had a mask on her HAND. I complained again. If the cleaning lady does not wear a mask, I don't want to think about how she cleans the room. I went to Super-Pharm across the street, I bought cleaning products, and I cleaned the room. I asked the receptionist to inform everybody not to go into my room.... I didnt feel safe to stay in the room - Well, although we want to support our businesses, we should think about our health first. Unnecessary !!!

Of an amazing stay! A real shame as the location is top notch. The rooms and bedding are top notch. It’s the service and the appalling lack of self awareness - that - I’m sorry, as hip at your Bar/Brunch spot Bellboy, you canNOT disassociate it from your hotel experience, ESPECIALLY since you force your guests to walk thru said venue to get into their rooms!? While I appreciate the Bellboy is popular AF on evenings, I don’t appreciate attitude nor response that “you should have made a reservation”. guess what? I DIDNT KNOW! Normal procedure would be to a) invite PAYING ROOM guests in advance of arrival via email like normal hotels do explaining their “amenities” and b) at check-in maybe mention it?! And don’t get me started on the useless breakfast voucher on Fridays and Saturdays where the action is at Bellboy, not the crappy cafes (check google review) blocks away. While I write this, the hotel has acknowledged my shock and disappointment and covered my brunch so thank you. But guys - get real - WELCOME your paying guests to this ASSET of Bellboy; don’t make them feel excluded as an outsider especially when it’s easy to alter this behavior / situation. And I work in the Tourism industry.

We stayed four nights in Shenkin hotel. Location is perfect !It is in a small street with very little traffic. Our superior room was located on fourth floor. It was clean , bright and big enough , everything was in perfect condition. We even got a small bottle of red wine for our first night. We really felt at home,- it was perfect to have coffee , cookies and cava as much as we wanted and whenever we had a craving for it. But what really made the difference were people working at the reception. They had an answer to all our questions and a solution for whatever the problem was. Always friendly and smiling. Trying hard to get the best for you, for example a table for four on a Friday night at 8pm... thank you Omer! Breakfast locations were nice and easily to reach within a five minute walk. To make a long story short,- for my next visit in Tel Aviv I would check in there again!

This hotel is simply amazing. I have to put this down to the incredible attention of the General Manager Torsten Richter. We were there on Yom Kippur. Having never been to Israel before, let alone on such an important holiday, we didnt know what to expect. It was quite a surprise that at even a 5 star hotel there would be such an impact. Many of the services were not available. There was a limited menu offered at the one open restaurant. There was not enough staff given that all guests staying at the hotel were dining in as there was simply no where else to go. Torsten Richter jumped in and was taking orders and waiting tables. I know he didn't get much sleep that night. Long before dinner, we had arrived at the hotel. Mr Richter was there greeting guests personally, and showed us to our room. Our room was very small with no space for luggage but had a very nice bathroom. I was crestfallen that the lovely Chapel Bar was closed for the holiday. Mr Richter saw to it that we were still able to enjoy this beautiful bar even though it was closed. Is there a more lovely bar in the entire world? I dont think so. Due to the holiday and something to do with the airspace being closed our flight was delayed by many hours. Mr Richter allowed us an incredibly late check-out as there was really no where else for us to go. The airport had not even re-opened yet. It was an immensely kind gesture. Thank you so much. This is such a beautiful and special property. We long to visit again, NOT on Yom Kippur, so that we can enjoy all the amenities Im sure the Jaffa offers.
