A beautiful property in the heart of New Delhi. even in these hard times of Covid, great hospitality and maximum care. The complete experience from Check-in to check-out is excellent. We have had a very long stay (15 days) and therefore had all the time to experience the real Tajness of the Taj Mahal Delhi. Though the swimming pool is under renovation, there is enough open shady areas to laze around in the well kept gardens and don't be surprised if you find Thomas from Verq checking on you (not his task or duty) for water or any other thing that you may require. As per our last experience/stay at the Taj Mahal, all rooms do not have the health faucets (essential for most Indians) and therefore we requested for a room with the same and Taj was kind enough to provide the same. So you may have to request for it. The house keeping staff, a special reference to Gopal, who ensures that all your room needs are well taken care off and there is nothing left to look for. It is felt that the Taj Mahal should conduct a guided tour of the hotel, which was not done for us and we had to request the Taj team to show us around, for the guests staying for a longer period. Currently, in addition to the Tea lounge, three restaurants are operational, Verq- Indian cuisine, The House of Mings- Chinese and Machan- your 24 hours multicuisine savior. Though some repairs are in progress, but it is restricted between 0900 to 1700h, but we could only hear some remote noises (not a disturbance) I feel writing a few words will not do justice and a visit and stay is the only way to enjoy the great hospitality and Tajness. Thank you Taj Mahal Team once again for not letting us miss our home even for one day.

The hotel booked by the tour group is the same on a business trip. I experienced a 5 star service in India, the environment and service, and the location are good. I just passed the security check when I entered the door, and I saw singing in the performing arts. It ’s good. I saw a different world in a different country. For example, the location of the video screen is the place to eat breakfast. It is a bit expensive to eat here at noon and dinner! The bed in India is soft, and when it dawns, the breakfast is good, it is worth the price, there are many types, and the service is good. I stayed for 2 nights and the price is high. After all, in the capital of New Delhi, India, the price is pretty good ...

A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of staying for a few nights at this little hotel in Delhi and we were very pleased with it. The hotel is small and all the staff are very friendly and attentive. It is spotlessly clean and in a very quiet residential area of New Delhi with no traffic noise. We were welcomed with a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers and a personal welcoming note from the owner in our rooms and all the requests we had were quickly and professionally dealt with. For example, one member of our group accidentally forgot a pair of earrings in their room and got in touch with the hotel the day after we had left. They reassured us that they had found the earrings and kept them safe for us for over a week, until we were able to go pick them up when we got back to Delhi at the end of our trip. We also very much appreciated their tipping box at reception. This is to discourage giving personal tips only to the hotel staff you meet and ensures a fairer splitting of the tips amongst all the people who work at the hotel, also the ones who do such a great job ensuring the smooth running of the hotel "behind the scenes". It also took away the stess of constant expectation of tips we sometimes felt in some of the bigger hotels we have stayed during our trip. Thank you very much for making our stay in Delhi so pleasant, we are very grateful!

More disappointing stay experience. 1. The room card was swiped twice and the door could not be opened. Although the door was swiped after responding to the front desk, it did not solve the problem of the door. The room is not as big as the picture shows, the room is small, and the double bed is small. 2. The area of the public area of the lobby is small. It is not like the lobby that Shangri-La should have. There is no place to sit when waiting for Uber. 3. The breakfast price is high, and the airport transfer is not slightly higher. The Marriott and Lalit are much more cost-effective. Shangri-La is the most expensive hotel in India this time Did not meet expectations. Not recommended. Recommended for other hotels at the same price.

Ahuja Residency at Sundar Nagar has been like a second home for me for the past two years. I have stayed here for as long as a week and also for short stays of a one or two nights. The key reasons I always choose to stay here are: 1. The friendliest staff I have ever come across in any hotel or guest house. They have always made me feel welcome and are happy to take the trouble to organise any need for food, local transport, advice on local matters, etc. There are no exceptions across reception, security staff, kitchen, waiters, cleaners, etc. Its one big happy family. 2. Very comfortable facilities ranging from big rooms that are unusual even in higher priced places, home-style food including room service and a welcome roof top. 3. Great location with easy access to Delhi's railway stations, all three ISBTs and the airport. Markets at Connaught Place, NOIDA, Lajpat Nagar, Defence Colony, Khan Market and ***y others are all less than half an hour’s drive away from here. Given a choice, I would always stay here on my visits to Delhi. I recommend you book early, especially during the peak winter months.

The hotel location is really good, surrounded by five-star luxury hotels, because it is not far from the famous Plaza Conte, India gate, history museum, presidential palace, a few hundred meters away is the subway line, and also to the Jama Masjid Just 4 stops. Eat live bar .. Although the price is not cheap from the economic chain hotels, but from the location, it is still good compared with the surrounding large hotels. Hygiene can not be said, clean, bright yellow and white are the salient features of this hotel, clean, good service without any odor. The breakfast was rich and the restaurant ate 2 dinners. It can be said that the taste is still very good, especially the nana in his house is served with curry, which is not bad. The hotel is equipped with a mini bar, a variety of drinks, snacks, and whatever you want. The socket is even more suitable. People in China can simply use the socket without changing it.

What is strange is that there are not many users who book this hotel through Ctrip. At the same price or slightly higher than other five-star hotels, the hotel is almost impeccable in New Delhi. The entire hotel has completely preserved all the traditions of the Indian colonial era. The entire hotel is very well maintained from the structure to the details, from the exterior, the interior of the building to the specific rooms, style and quality. Instead of spending money on various attractions, it would be better to spend money on this hotel for two nights. Absolutely good value for money. And be sure to book a room with breakfast.

The location is good. Next door is Shangri-La. For friends who are not used to Indian food, you can eat directly at Shangri-La's Shang Palace, but the price is too expensive. Five of us, each spending more than 1,600. Very ordinary home cooking six or seven. From India Gate and Walking Street, all can be reached directly on foot. When we arrived, it happened to be a little riotous, and security was in place. I booked through Ctrip. Compared with BOOKING, the price is cheaper, but for the hotel services inside, it is a bit expensive. We have more than 900 RMB / standard room for one night. There are no slippers and no toothbrush and toothpaste, which is estimated to be caused by local habits. The entire hotel's internal facilities are old. The most important thing is that there is no WIFI, which is difficult to understand. Wifi needs to be charged, it seems to be 20RMB / hour. So it may be a bit inconvenient for friends traveling on business. Because the hot spots are not connected. You can only pay. Also, breakfast is OK, there is room for choice. I like to play the piano in the lobby sometimes. In short, if you can order a relatively cheap price, it is recommended to stay, if it is more than 800RMB, it is recommended to plan to live next door Shangri-La earlier.

Stayed here for 14 nights, and was well cared-for, throughout ! Was in cheaper room, but when I expressed concern that there was no interior safe, I was assured one would be provided, at no extra charge. And the promise was honoured ! Hotel public areas are spacious and clean. Daily newspapers are provided, free, in the foyer. Hotel is popular with Indian businesspersons, families, and older overseas travellers - generally speaking. All reception staff speak good English. The hot buffet breakfast is included within the room charges. The hot selection varies considerably, day by day, but you can ALWAYS ask for fresh toast, and an omelette ! Bananas, watermelon, and papaya are always available, too. The restaurant is also available for meals - or room service - from noon until late (around 11pm, I think ?). The menu is mainly Indian cuisine, and it is of good quality, very reasonably priced, and with VERY generous portions. ( One dish, with rice, will feed two normal customers !) All staff are always courteous, and keen to assist. And the rooms are diligently serviced, daily. The only reason to give less than a perfect score is the outside environment. The hotel faces a concrete flyover for a national highway, and a very busy exit road from it is immediately outside the hotel front. The exit road traffic is often near-stationary, with much honking of horns, often by motorcycles and auto-rikshaws attempting to (illegally) proceed against the traffic direction ! All in all, an often chaotic scene, and pedestrians need to show great care at all times ! I don't think there are ***y rooms at the front, but ask for a quieter one, anyway ! Oh yes, there ARE English language news channels on the TV, but none are from primarily English-speaking countries, apart from a solitary Australia station ! And one Sony sports channel shows live Champions League, Europa League, and FA Cup replays - but due to time zone differences, these tend to start after 1.30 am, so good luck in staying awake until the end of those ! ( The channel shows a LOT of cricket, though !) Hotel room wi-fi is good. Thank you for a pleasant stay !

This hotel was just ok. Close to train station which was good, but on a very busy street. Room was fairly clean and was WiFi was ok. It said you get free bottled water which you do not, we asked for it and they gave us a jug of water, which we cannot drink Indian water. We paid extra for air conditioning room, which we had to ask them to switch on, and once it had been on for 20 minutes, they just turned it off which I think is not fair considering we paid for it. Otherwise hotel was ok for the price and location, but wouldn’t stay here again due to the issue with air conditioning.

Breakfast is not available, the waiters are all male, the location is relatively quiet, in the alley, Google Maps are not difficult to find. The service is not bad. After all, the price requirements should not be too high, and there are more pubs nearby. Relatively, this looks pretty good, and it is convenient to get to the streets. The tax is high, the breakfast is expensive, about 120 people, and the children have the same price. Health is good and service is good. The sense of science and technology is very strong, everything in the room must be controlled by the ipad on the bedside, but this ipad must be plugged in all the time, it is really a strange circuit. I went out in the morning and got off the electricity. When I came back to the night, I didn't have any electricity. I couldn't even close the curtains. Booked for 4 nights, Super deluxe room, left after 1. Big traveller and in no way fussy(once stayed in the worst rated room in the worst hostel in phi phi and never felt a need to write a bad review. The difference, they were honest and I knew what I was getting. But this place deserved some special recognition. This hotel was so unnecessarily bad and dishonest that each of the hu*** senses needs its own E***cipation session. Everything below multiply by 2 because we tried 2 rooms and same problem in each. Vision: both rooms are actually okay structurally and have potential to be what the “completely genuine” reviews say it is. But it is absolutely filthy. Rubbish on the floor, carpets that have not been hovered since ever, built up grime on every surface that could easily have been cleaned but was not. In short, not a stain here and there, but that dirty dirt that takes effort to build. Sound: After 12 hour travels we arrived at 2am, where we were greeted by neighbouring room literally ruffling plastic bags in the hallway and chatting with their door wide opened, like clockwork when they finished their game of ruffles at 4.00am we were greeted by a relentless t******ous roar of a water boiler which kept us company until check out the next morning. Touch: The half a toilet roll and the towels appeared dry but had a delightful damp feel, which settled the debate on a late night shower. The sheets as I lay there fully clothed with the rustling, the roaring and the tiredness added to the experience by having crusty stains where your hand would pull the sheet to your body, which added to the macro experience. Smell/taste: To call it just a smell is to do this odour an injustice. The stench of urine e***ating from the grimy toilet was so pungent it was like you could taste it in the back of your throat, like an invisible sulphuric soup that flavored the rustling, roaring, grimey, crusty most memorable experience. After all that, they said I wasn’t entitled to refund on early check out, even though room was definitely not the “super deluxe” it was advertised as. Other than that it was fine.

I really do n’t understand. How could my compatriots recommend this hotel? I really do n’t recommend you choose this hotel for specific reasons: 1. The hotel is too hard to find. Do n’t say that the taxi driver is the person near the hotel. I do n’t know there is such a hotel. How can you find it? The reason why you can't find it, please see the first photo. The facade of this hotel is a small folder, you will miss it if you don't pay attention. 2. The second picture is the shower room in the room. The floor area is about 2 square meters. It is difficult for people to stand with their arms outstretched. How can I take a bath? This doesn't count. There is no door in the shower room, only the curtains. When the water cage opens, the curtains take up 1/3 of the space. In short, taking a bath is suffering. 3. The original booked is a deluxe double room, and the third picture shows that two small single beds are merged together. 4. The price of a room is not cheap. I think the price is very low. The hotel may argue that the hotel is lively, but our tourists are attractions, not nightclubs.
