During my travels across 16 countries and living in two, I have to say that Pan Pacific Yangon stands out as the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Its location is ideal, conveniently connected to a mid-sized shopping mall, and the in-room amenities and facilities are top-notch. Unlike some “lazy” five-star hotels, the gym, spa, and swimming pool are exceptionally well-maintained and managed. The breakfast service was a real highlight – each day offered new and varied dishes, and despite having breakfast there four times, I never got bored. However, what truly set this experience apart for me was the people. The staff were always smiling, patient, and consistently went out of their way to help me, making the stay all the more enjoyable. I believe this speaks not only to the hotel’s brand culture but also to the warm and optimistic nature of the Myanmar people themselves. Their kindness left a lasting impression on me. To everyone at Pan Pacific Yangon, I sincerely wish you all the best and hope you stay safe during these challenging times. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, where I can say “Mingalaba” once more!

After having a busy time at work, it is just right to reward me. And, what is the perfect way of doing this is to treat myself to a staycation at ParkRoyal Hotel. The hotel is 5/5 in cleanliness, budget, location, and, most significantly, THE STAFF. The Staff has made my staycation a relaxing and perfect experience. I couldn't say anything negative because they went beyond my expectations as someone who, most of the time, stays in a hotel. The Staff, namely Theint Theint, Thazin, and Zaw of the Reception, Gi Gi of the Lobby Cafe, Alex and Thet Tun of the Concierge, Le Le Win of the Spice Restaurant, and Nanda of the Housekeeping were superbly amazing people who were willing to assist me. On top of that, I have to give credit to Ms. Khin, the reception manager. She was a rockstar in service. Her assistance, from my emails to the check-in, was very smooth. Thank you so much, guys! You are all fantastic hotel staff. Kudos to you! Of course, I cannot ignore that the breakfast was good, the pool was perfect for taking a plunge, and the fitness center was my favorite. Overall, I will keep returning to this hotel because ParkRoyal is Perfect for a Staycation! Thank you, ParkRoyal!

This is a newly opened hotel, so the facilities are clean and up-to-date. All rooms are large in size, so you can feel very relaxed. It's a convenient location to go anywhere. The food was also a passing grade. As the number of guests increases, the number of items will likely increase. I felt a strong desire from the staff to ”make this hotel a better hotel from now on.” Another thing I recommend is the view from the pool. You can see both Shwedagon Pagoda and Yangon River. There's no pool where you can see both. Shwedagon Pagoda and the Yangon River illuminated by the setting sun are spectacular. It was a very satisfying hotel. The manager, Mr. James, took great care of me during my stay. thank you very much.

I stayed for 4 nights. The downtown location makes it convenient for sightseeing and dining. Although Yangon experiences frequent power outages, the hotel has its own generator, so there are no inconveniences with air conditioning or refrigerators. The free buffet breakfast at the rooftop restaurant had a wide variety of options and overlooked Yangon city, which was very satisfying. I think the value for money is good for a hotel in this price range. This time I booked through Agoda, but it would be much cheaper to book directly on site. The exchange rate applied to international credit cards is the government-set rate of MMK2,100/US$, which makes it feel a bit expensive. At money changers downtown, you can exchange both JPY and US$ at the market rate, so it's a good deal.

This hotel seemed brand new. We stayed in a Junior Suite. Everything was sparkling clean, the blue velvet couches in the room looked like no one had sat on them before. Very gutsy of the designer to choose this color/material combination for couches in a hotel room. I’m afraid it’ll take one lousy guest and they won’t look as new anymore :-P Anyway, I enjoyed the elegance of the place through and through.. and for this price! You won’t find anywhere else in the world. I’d say this is Four Seasons quality, for which I’m used to paying 3-4 times more. The air-conditioning is superb. It keeps the temperature and air circulation exactly how you want it without the noise. In too many hotel rooms the AC blows on your face when you’re sleeping, not this one. You don’t see it or hear it, yet it’s chill and effective, which is exactly how you want it. The shower pressure is good, and the temperature is easy to navigate. I prefer the handheld that can be placed on a specific level on the wall, I find rain showers too wasteful, nevertheless it’s there. The toiletries are plentiful and conveniently come in pump containers. There’s shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, and a soap bar. The room slippers are comfortable and pillowy, the bathrobes are light cotton fabric. Drinking water is complimentary, and provided in four 500ml glass bottles, replenished daily. There’s a small gym right by the spa, but it has all the essentials: 2 treadmills, a stationary bike, an elliptical trainer, a mat, and a dumbbell set starting at 2kg going to 20kg. I was the only one there all three times that I used it. The breakfast portion is on the smaller size. If you order the eggs Benedict it comes with 2 small eggs on white toast, and small pieces of smoked salmon. The sides include a jar of fruit salad, yogurt, and a bread basket. The cappuccino is really good. If you have a reason to visit Yangon, this is a must-stay.

I stayed there 19 nighs. There are some good points (mostly) and a few bad ones. Fistly the staff is very friendly and supportive. There can be no complaints about them. Secondly the management acted very responsible, when I was in a health danger situation. I am very thankful to them for that. The bad points: One Aircon was not working and I was told beyond repair. I waited for a word of excuse (or even compensation) by the General Manger Mr. Smith Tin Win Aye, but that never happened. Finally i asked 2 time for an appointment, only to hear that ”he is not free” ”he is busy”. Is that a proper way to behave by a GM ? I dont thinks so. Finally it must be mentioned that I could hear every word from the guests below my room. But total lack of sound isolation is common in Yangon.

Great hotel close to the airport and reasonably close to town. The hotel has shops/restaurants and easy access to both downtown and the airport. Stayed 1 night after arriving in Yangon. The hotel is very slick, well run and professional. Check in was easy and straightforward. The staff were helpful, friendly and informative. There is a bar and coffee shop serving Lavazza coffee and other guest services too. The room service menu is good and spa services are very reasonable too. The room was very clean and had a nice, modern over sized bathroom. Although breakfast starts at 6, the restaurant is functioning and fully operational by 5.45. I was leaving to catch an early flight and managed some breakfast before leaving. A big thank you to reception and the chefs/breakfast staff for being very organised. Overall a good stay in a decent hotel. Would recommend.

My family was in Wyndham to celebrate our son’s first birthday. We asked the staff to help us with the decorations if possible and they did help us with all the decorations as much as they could. Shortly after, the hotel staff ran the door bell and surprised my family with a complimentary cake for our son. The 4 staff who came to surprise us Yee Mon Kyaw, May, Phillis,Myint Myint, my family would like to sincerely thank you all for your effort and kindness. Staff were friendly and helped us a lot. We mentioned when we booked the room that we were going for our honeymoon. The hotel immediately upgraded our room, upgraded our standard room without windows to a luxurious balcony room, and the view of the Ruiguang Shwedagon Pagoda from the balcony. They even prepared roses in bed and bathroom. Another thing that surprised me was that when we finished the view and returned to the room, we found the hotel sent us a beautiful cake and a postcard full of blessings. The facility was clean and I felt very comfortable. The gym is large, and you can also use the sauna and jacuzzi. The view of the courtyard and poolside from the breakfast venue made me forget that I was in Myanmar, and I was able to enjoy a relaxing time. However, perhaps because it had just reopened or because there were few guests, the breakfast options were few and poor, and some of the items were used from the previous day and were not delicious. Besides the incredible facilities, what really stands out to me about this hotel is the staff. They are beyond amazing and are so professional! Their hospitality and the continuous times that they go above and beyond for their hotel guests is a testament to their incredible work ethic. I booked the room with the free breakfast every morning and the staff (chefs, waiters, and waitresses) on the first floor are exceptionally great! The chef would even come to talk to you about the meal and thay was such a great touch! The staff in the hotel lobby (including the doormen) and also all of security at the front of the hotel are so friendly and welcoming. The duty manager (Nyein) is one of the best I have seen in the hotels I've been to worldwide because she really cares about the hotel guests and checks in with you and you're well-being. She helped with putting an ironing board and an iron for the room which was a really nice addition that I needed. When there was a slight misunderstanding (which was quickly and promptly rectified), she made sure to fix the issue with assorted fruits, juice and a complimentary meal that came with dessert, which she personally arranged and brought to the room. The women at the reception were amazingly friendly and welcoming everytime I went up and down to the room. The food is exceptional, the staff should be applauded and the swimming pool.....fantastic! Again I say......The staff ❤️

At Pier 6, you can see containers and ferry boats. I like the retro design. The 5th floor restaurant can watch the sunrise and sunset. There is a small supermarket in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. Recommended.

Yes, the staff were very enthusiastic. There was also an offline exchange meeting for entrepreneurs held at the hotel that day. I thought it was a blind date, but I saw a lot of people. After asking the staff, I learned that it was an exchange meeting.

As an international student in Myanmar, I recently spent a week at Hotel Scion Yangon and had a fantastic time. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, which made my arrival and departure very easy, and their pick-up and drop-off services greatly helped this. The staff was friendly and they were always willing to help with any questions or requests. I particularly appreciated the high-speed internet, which allowed me to stay connected with my work and friends back in Australia. The rooms were also clean and had a nice comfortable beds, which were all very well equipped with all the necessary amenities. Additionally, I appreciated the fact that the hotel has a lot of plugs available for multiple devices, which made it easy to charge all of my electronics. Finally, the rooftop bar was my favorite which offered fantastic views of the pagodas around the hotel and is a great place to relax and unwind after a busy day of exploring. Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Scion Yangon to any international students visiting Myanmar.

The first one for the Myanmar’s location is 9miles and very quiet place and stay good options for the Korean tourists choose. I’m happy with April season so hot environment but everybody playing water like Thailand here call Thingian. Enjoy for tourism

Good old hotel with antique atmosphere and courteous service, I liked the room but got dissaponted that the bedsheets and towels are too old and not clean, and it has some more caveats. The hotel is situated inward corner from the main street and need to call taxi every time just to get out, which is annoying if you want to go around the nearby area. Inside the hotel building there's one convenient store but the front desk never mentioned that and couldn't find it on the day of arrival. The biggest problem is there are so many noisy and dangerous street dogs nearby the hotel and they are barking at every car going in and out from the hotel, and when you try to walk back to the hotel it is really a big threat as they swarm and try to bite you even in the daytime. Those dogs are seriously damaging the hotel access and make the guests uneasy.

Stay almost 2 weeks! First and Foremost Mr Aung Kyaw hotel General Manager who made us stay at my hotel yangon ! He is extremely nice and very well listener which is very important for that position! He take good care of his hotel guests and staffs . It was extremely unforgettable stay there because of Mr Aung Kyaw , Also all the staff are really humble and very well listen to guests without any negative attitude towards to others especially Restaurant Mr .Thiha and all F& B staffs and also HK team Ms Su and all who clean our room 501 with there lovely initiatives and front desk staff especially skinny and tall gentleman who ware glass , my apologies that I could not able to recall all the names. Also thanks to two security gentleman who always rent umbrella and really really thanks to General Manager Mr Aung Kyaw who made us to stay that hotel who is the one made hotel extra revenues Thanks very much Mr Aung Kyaw and all F& B staffs and FO staffs and Security team and also lovely HK team along Ms Su !!! Highly recommend to stay this hotel but first contact to GM Mr Aung Kyaw !!! Thanks very much for everything and will definitely be there whenever we do have yangon trip !!! Eilyas Aung
