Hotels Near Bonito In Berlin
0.14km from BonitoStaying one night in Berlin in November 2018, I found the hotel Pension-Bernstein the most cost-effective option, seeming a bit out of the center but near a U-Bahn stop it seemed perfect. Sadly the biggest problem I had with the hotel isn't actually the hotel's fault at all, as I found Berlin's underground network pretty badly labelled and not very user friendly. This meant I never really got to take advantage of the subway across the road as even when I reached it and looked at the station it didn't tell me where it crossed over with other lines. As such I found myself walking 20 minutes to the nearest S-Bahn. Despite this, I found the hotel perfectly pleasant if unspectacular. Staying myself, I was in a long, slender room of the type I've become accustommed to in Germany, which was very old fashioned but perfectly clean and functional. Breakfast the next day was pretty nice, offering a nice selection of meats and cereals. In terms of location I didn't find it great for eating or drinking out, but there was a small supermarket across the road for essentials. Worth noting I was only there one night though, so with more time I may have found more options. Would I stay here again? Yeah absolutely. I would probably try to find somewhere more central first but there's certainly nothing wrong with the hotel itself, just nothing in particular to draw me back either.
0.17km from BonitoThe hotel is very close to the KADEWE department store. If you have a shopping need, you can live there. If you are tired, you can go back to the hotel to rest, just a few hundred meters. The room was very clean and quite satisfactory. The only downside is that the shower in my room is a bit problematic, either hot hot water or cold water, but it is not suitable, but my colleague's room is said to be ok, probably because I am not lucky. So the facility gave 4 points. The Mini Bar in the room is free to use, this is still a plus. Have wine and drink!

0.2km from BonitoMy husband and I have stayed here for a week (checking out tomorrow). Our stay has been very comfortable. Because we are expedia gold members we were offered a free upgrade. We also got a discount for another upgrade to one of their suites. Quite pleased with that! The room was excellent. The bed was a bit noisy (and I move a lot in my sleep, so that was not optimal), but comfortable. Internet was working fine on the 4th floor. TV was okay, but not many English channels. Bathroom was really clean and the breakfast was tasty! Even in COVID times. Thank you for a pleasant stay to Steigenberger Hotel Berlin if you guys read this! Special thanks to T.Ambt (if we remember correctly) for giving us the upgrade and for all of the communication!
0.29km from BonitoStarted a 3 weeks stay on business in February, which was cut short a few days due to the start of Covid. Review is based around what was experienced in a more "normal" time. Hotel was pretty busy at the start and, at least pre-Covid, seemed to have a steady stream of convention/business group customers. Location was great for my purposes. Very close to Wittenburgplatz station for U-Bahn, Zoologischer Garten for S-Bahn. Using either of those stations, or the 100-line bus that runs just a block away, you can get to the more central/tourist areas of Berlin (Brandenburg Gate, etc.) very easily. KaDeWe also virtually across the street and a plethora of shopping and food choices along or just off Kurfustendamm. Friendly staff too. I had a king executive room on the 6th floor (which I think was the quiet floor) overlooking the street, but did not have any issue with city noise. Room was basic but suited my needs. King bed, work desk, lounge chair, security safe in closet, and ample power outlets. No issues with bed comfort. I didn't have a problem with the bathroom size, but could see how others may. To be honest, one of the driving factors in choosing the Crown Plaza was to ensure I could get more than just one English speaking TV channel. Selection was ample with BBC, CNBC, Bloomberg, and an English variation of DW. Tons of channels otherwise. Breakfast was included as part of my stay. Good selection of fruits, breads, cheese, sweets, and hot selections including pancakes/waffles, eggs, bacon/sausage. Relatively the same offerings everyday, but that's OK with the size of the spread. Breakfast area definitely filled up early, but staff was attentive to clear tables and make room. (You seat yourself) I don't know what the daily rate for breakfast was if not included in the room though. I didn't partake of room service or the steak restaurant the breakfast area turns into in the evening, but was given a free drink at the little bar off the lobby when I checked in. Nice little place. I used the gym a few times, which again was basic and filled its need well. I think more people were using the pool/sauna facilities. Never had an issue with WiFi connectivity. Overall, it was a very good stay before having to cut things short. Location is a big plus with solid amenities.
0.29km from BonitoAs the name indicates, the hotel is close to the Kurfürstendamm, yet in a quiet street; it sits in a refurbished old building, fitted with new interior. When you arrive (or leave), you might have to wait for the receptionist, or call – I found him away on calls twice during my one-night stay. The rooms have a decent size, with a pretty new & stylish interior; those to the back face the courtyard (I had no problems with noise from the breakfast). The beds are good; the curtains are good but do not fully blank out the light (top not covered), and the doors not well sound-isolated (you hear the corridor), so still not a perfect night’s sleep… The switching of the lights is a bit confusing; there are also no reading lights at the bed. The TV was not working; Wifi worked well, though. The building wraps around a partially covered courtyard, which invites ‘lounging around’ – it has a really nice atmosphere. The building also offers free amenities like sauna, gym, and a pool table (in a room off the courtyard). Breakfast is served in the courtyard; choice was reasonable, and you can make yourself fresh waffles.
0.3km from BonitoI read some negative reviews upfront, but I was pleasantly surprised. I stayed for one night with my 3 kids (11, 13 & 17 yo) in a large room with 4 beds. Lots of space, nice beds and plenty of room for us. It almost looked like an apartment, even though we just booked a family-room. When reviewing this hotel you have to look at the price. It is extremely cheep, and therefore you can't expect too much. It is suitable for a stay where you don't want to spend too much time in the room, but just need a place to sleep. The stairway is dark and old but functional and so is the elevator taking you to the 4th floor where the reception is. Hallways are ok, walls and carpet looks okay and the reception area is as it should be. I red that the staff is grumpy, but I did not experience that. They smiled and were cool. Note that we got a room on the same floor as the reception. If you live higher up, there is a small stairway which is rather small and steep, but I don't see that as at big problem. We did not book breakfast, so I cannot review that part. The best part is the location - only 30 metres from shopping street Kurfürstendamm. At ground level there is a cool cocktail bar with serving outside . Nice when you return home from a long day of sightseeing and shopping. It was a short stay, but I was very satisfied given the low price :-)
0.33km from BonitoSuperbly located in the centre of Berlin and with easy access both by local train and Uber (€25 approx.) from the airport, this Accor hotel is tucked away in the facade of the square, but stands out beyond the other hotels in the area. There were plenty hotels and cafes, and shopping precincts, nearby accommodating all interests, and plenty of historical adventures to be had too. If you are seeking the LGBTQ+ scene then this hotel is perfectly located for such endeavours and not with any seediness. Reception was easy and allowed into my room early as “it was ready!” Being ready was surely the theme of their work ethic! I was there only for one night and room service still asked if I needed anything the next day. Moderately siZed room, completely as advertised, with beautiful, crisp bedding, clean and refreshing atmosphere and great views. The shower had a wonderful power to it. My only gripe (if I was there for more than one night) is that this standard room offers little clothes storage, and you had the hand garments on the wall. But, for a one nighter, it was perfect! Thanks the reception staff who were warm and welcoming for my first time ever in Germany!

0.37km from BonitoStayed here for 5 nights in September. We were booked into the Two Axel but at the last minute they moved us here by email. They stated the Two Axel was closed. Their website was still taking bookings. The staff on duty when we arrived were Charing and most welcoming. Christof, Mel and the Manager Oliver had wonderful personalities and knew how to talk with the clients in a most courteous manner. They looked after us very well. However the evening / night guy on duty was rude, snappy and arrogant. His main gripe was about face coverings and while he was correct there is a manner to talk to people that he needs to improve on. Even to re-charge the room key was a chore for him. The breakfast was not worth getting out of bed for or he money. Go out for it there are charming places across the streets. The room was good, we got an upgrade to a junior suite, recommended! The jacuzzi bath was a bonus. The location was perfect for our needs and the bars were very close. We would definitely go back. Thanks guys!
0.38km from BonitoBecause we are two girls to go to Berlin to play, so it is quite important to stay safe. The location of this home is very good, there are subways, supermarkets, commercial streets, and Chinese restaurants (the reviews are quite high, but I did not eat). It can be considered as a quiet place. The hotel is quiet near the hotel. It will go back around 11:00 in the middle of the night. There will be no strange people wandering around. But after a five-minute ten minute walk to the commercial street, curry36 also has a branch there. The hotel looks like it will be after 3 pm, but you can leave your luggage in advance. A credit card guarantee is required before check-in, and if not, a debit card is also available. The English at the front desk is also good. (In addition, the iced peach steam in the lobby is very good) I live like a suite, 59 flat. Is the entrance to the living room? There is a sofa TV or something, going inside is a bed, a wall behind the bed is a table, you can make tea or coffee. The wardrobe is also over there. Overall it feels quite big, there are two bathrooms, the shower and the bathtub are separated in the bathroom. (The only downside is that the bath water is easy to overflow, and the bathroom is a wooden floor. It takes a long time to step on it. It feels a bit uneven.) Breakfast did not eat, so I don't know, the overall is a good hotel, not expensive, the service is not bad.
0.41km from BonitoIt's my first time at the Sofitel Berlin Kudam and WOW the top design & top style, everywhere you have amazing paintings & sculptures. This is what makes you feel Berliner and the love for culture & Art. I have to thank also Alessia who made my registration, but without asking she gave me a gift and when I saw the view, she gave me a room from where I could see "Die Gedechniskircke" in front of me. I am often in Berlin but had never had this view. Also when entering the room the design the tast in the material they have choosen. The bathroom is made of green marmore and you get a selection of free drinks and the spece and quality its worth the money. Tomorrow will explore the surrounding and see that you are at the heart of Berlin and lots of restaurants to choose at Kudam....would also like to mention that safty is high in their priorities you feel safe and all precausion are implemented, even the TV control is inside a plastic bag to avoid any risk.
0.43km from BonitoI’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in Berlin and have loved all of them - this has to be the best though. The rooms are really cool but also comfy. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff are friendly. The location is very good - convenient for public transport but also for the main sights of west Berlin. The hotel was spotlessly clean. This hotel also has a great bar at the top. I will be back.
0.43km from BonitoBooked a suite and on arrival was advised that due to a "system mix up" there was no suite but a better room would be offered. Willing to take a chance we went to the allocated room which was a junior suite with kitchenette in the front of the old building. The room was awful and unsafe, the kitchenette was basic with a few sticky items of cutlery / crockery. The fridge door would not close properly and one of the lights was blown. The large room had a small double bed, a power point came off the wall exposing wires and another light in the bathroom was blown. To top it off the A/C did not work and rattled and we were expecting 30'c the following day. Obviously we complained the room was unacceptable, after some furious computer tapping and uncertain mutterings a room was found, it miraculously was the exact suite we booked and paid for ! some comment about taking the allocation from someone else was made ? I don't like being made a fool of and I could not work out what was the reason for the room mix up. COVID-19 challenges aside we asked if the hotel was busy and was advised 80% full ?? we doubt this figure as we hardly saw other guests apart from one or two checking in or out. The suite was as we expected, comfortable and spacious, cleaning was done daily but the standard was not up to expectations and could have been better. Ate breakfast just once at 19 euro each it was expensive and bland, across the road we found a bagel café with amazing breakfast so would recommend this. Overall H10 Berlin was a let down and disappointment with very indifferent staff. I would not recommend or use again.
Hotels Near Bonito In Berlin Review
Breakfast is okay, but it is still more monotonous than the domestic hotel. The location is very good, the entrance is the Potsdamer Platz, there is also a subway station, the Brandenburg Gate, the Parliament Building, the Berlin Shopping Center are very close, and there is a Mobai at the door, very convenient. There are also other companies sharing bicycles with children's seats, but the QR code can't be scanned. I don't know how to use them, but the hotel has a bicycle with a child seat for rent, 30 euros a day, 15 euros a day. To the northwest of the hotel is a large Tiergarten park, which is in a good environment with trees, grass and water.
Stayed here back in December last year, for a long weekend for the christmas markets before all the covid stuff had kicked off. We had hoped to return this year but due to the ongoing pandemic, its probably going to be 2022 now. The hotel is located in the East of the city. We flew in Tegel and found it a long , inconvenient journey but our return flight wasout of SXF which was much more convenient so the hotel will be pretty convenient for the new Berlin airport which opens soon. The lobby was spacious, trendy and contemporary as were the guest rooms. Our room was quiet though 2 of the lads we were travelling with had rooms overlooking a trainline, so request rooms away from trains. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we slept well . Everything felt very clean. We booked a hotel with spa facilities so had been expecting an indoor pool! disappointed that there was not one in the hotel however they did have a really relaxing spa area that had a hot whirlpool aswell as the usual saunas , so that was a nice way to chill out in the evenings after a long, cold day in Berlin! Please note however, its strictly trunks off. You have to use the area completely naked , which they say is for hygiene reasons. Although this was a little out of my comfort zone it did not detract us from enjoying the facility, I felt more embarrassed about my friends who i was travelling with having to see me naked though since we were sharing rooms we all owned up to sleeping naked anyway which no longer made it a big deal but for some guests particularly ladies it might be out of your comfort zone, so just making you aware, as its a mixed sex facility though was mainly men the two occasions that we used it which made it a little less awkward!. Breakfast was an extensive buffet which is free and had a great selection of hot and cold food that we thought was above average for a hotel buffet. Its very accesible for getting into alexanderplatz on the tram. Berlin is one of our favorate European cities, its cool, quirky and there is so much to see and do at anytime of the year. This is a great hotel and we look forward to another long weekend once all this horrible covid stuff is over. Staying safe and positive for now because we know that one day we will travel again!!!
Our room on the 13th floor was standard category. Spartan in decor, purely functional in layout, the room was clean, the tv worked and it had a minibar plus good view . No tea or coffee making facilities but that might just be a Radisson feature. However, when I needed help in checking in on line for a flight home, the wonderful lady at the Customer Relations desk was just amazing. I never established her name, but think her surname was 'Williti'. She is absolutely a gem and patiently managed to get us check-in with EasyJet, and printed out our boarding cards. Thank you so much. My wife and I were then treated to a trip to the 37th floor to enjoy the magnificent views. It was a very kind gesture and one we won't forget. I hope Radisson Alexanderplatz management appreciate they have a star on their team.
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on a city break. The hotel itself was ok, it was clean it was functional without being anything special. It was a little dull is how I would describe it without anything being really wrong. The staff were fine without being friendly. The lobby is poorly planned and the staff are locked away being big columns which are terribly placed. Two criticisms, one was that the lift was out of order and hence left one lift to cater for 4 floors and during Covid times the lift was always busy and long waits were standard. The second was that the bathroom had a glass panel from the room which let light in but overlooked the toilet and I thought it a little inappropriate that someone in the room could easily watch you doing a number 2 the other side of the glass. Not ideal. For these two reasons I gave it a 3 out of 5. Poorly designed. But the location was 10/10. 100m from Checkpoint Charlie and the Topography of Terrors. Lovely pub opposite side of the road.
We had a lovely stay. The rooms were stylish and very clean and quiet. The only thing missing was a tea/coffee making facility. We were impressed with the environmentally sensitive touches. We were happy to pass on the room service each day and were rewarded with a drink voucher each day. We used these for a delicious hot chocolate at bedtime on our last night. The breakfast selection was varied and of good quality. So much choice you couldn't fail to find things you wanted and there were plenty of healthy options. Our favourite was the automatic pancake maker. Gluten free options are available. There were plenty of tables and the restauraunt staff are helpful, friendly and efficient. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. We purchased our travel day ticket each day from the reception (validate it as you get on the tram each day). The hotel is well located to access the transport system and we used the trams, underground, rural train system and buses using our ticket. We would definitely stay again. The only reason we are not awarding 5 stars is the lack of tea/ coffee making facilities. Thank you for making our time so enjoyable.
The Riu Plaza is a 4-star place owned by the Spanish Riu chain, obviously aimed primarily at business and conference people. But it's a good place to stay for holidaymakers too. - Very well located in Schöneberg, 150 metres from Wittenbergplatz (and a little further to Nollendorfplatz in the other direction), so pretty easy access on the U-bahn to almost everywhere, and only 1 stop from Zoo Garden terminal for airport buses. - large, airy rooms, with good views (we were on 16th floor), comfortable bed, excellent and spacious shower and good bathroom in general, fast lifts - a good bar, with friendly bar and wait staff, and not overpriced, just off the reception desk area - generally friendly and efficient front desk staff (but see further on) - not expensive, at least in winter; we paid only just over 100 euros a night, which is good value Its flaws are minimal, but...: - Breakfast is too expensive. Sure, it has all the usual breakfast buffet stuff, but it significantly adds to the cost of the holiday to cough up 19 euros pp each day (we stayed 4 nights). Having just come from an excellent central hotel in Lisbon, where we had an excellent breakfast for 12 euros pp each morning, it seemed excessive, so we settled for a nearby cafe each day. - Make sure you put the 'do not disturb' sign on your door each day if you don't want to get up early. The first day we were there, Monday, having arrived in Berlin at half past midnight, we were woken up at 8.45 am by a cleaner banging on the door. Happened again at the same time a couple of days later when we forgot to put the sign out. Sorry, when you're staying for 4 days, there's no reason to clean the room that early - and I blame the management, not the cleaners, who just do what they're told. - Some of the staff are a little slapdash. E.g., the kettle in our room had been ruined by an idiot previous occupant trying to use it as a coffee perculator, so there was a baked-on layer of coffee on the bottom of it. On our way out the next morning, we took it down to the front desk - the guy there actually asked us to take it back up to our room on the 16th floor, and assured us it would be replaced by the cleaners. When we returned from sightseeing 6 hours later, guess what - the ruined kettle was still there in our room. Fail! I know this is a 1st-world problem, but the original front desk guy should have just taken the kettle and organised to get it replaced. When we took it down again, this time the woman on the front desk took it from us, and a short time later a new kettle was in our room. I don't want to criticise the place too much, as it was pretty good overall and we'd stay there again. But it felt a little impersonal, and while most of the staff were excellent, some were not well-trained or motivated enough to deal properly with issues, relatively minor though our's were. Thus, it gets 4 stars, not 5.
