My husband and I booked a night at the Verb hotel through groupon to stay after attending a concert at the House Of Blues. With the recent coronavirus outbreak our show was canceled and many area attractions were shut down. On our groupon it states that no refunds would be made to reservation canceled after the 4 day mark. I call the Verb and spoke to Joey in reservation. He was understanding of the situation and very accommodating. While he was not able to issue us a refund for the money, he was able to provide us with a "gift certificate" good for the amount to be used any time in the next 7 years. With the level of customer service I received, especially from Joey, I look forward to using my gift certificate! Good customer service goes a long way, and the Verb restored my faith in that. Looking forward to my future stay at the Verb!
