We wound up getting out of St B hospital around 2 am. At time I had no clue where we were in the city, and the nurses recommended this hotel. Dude at front desk was super easy going and got us into a room... when we found out our stay was going to be extended they were super accommodating to ensure our room. The cleaning and maintenance staff were super amazing as well and looked after things nicely. Would definitely look at staying here again based on this last visit to Winnipeg.

Definitely give this hotel chance when staying in Winnipeg. The price is similar to some Portage & Main hotels, but this one has the amenity of being a short walk to The Forks, all the walking trails, bike paths and The Common food hall for take-out (or eat-in when that resumes). Parking is expensive - $21 for an outdoor, surface stall. The King room we had, was spacious with high ceilings, decent chairs for watching TV or having a glass of wine and had modern decor. The bed was super-comfy. The bubble-glass vanity in the bathroom is a show-piece and you'll enjoy products from the Riverstone Spa. I will definitely recommend Inn at the Forks for friends when they come in Winnipeg - and also for our next Staycation.

I stayed here for business twice this month so experienced two different rooms. Really nicely decorated - real old world charm. One room had a very modern shower, the other a bathtub. You get really nice l’occtaine bath products - liquid shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and hand soap. Loved getting coffee or tea at my door every morning (I tried both) I had the morning buffet once - great but pricey. Also had a la carte - which ended up being close to the same price. Great croissants! I had room service which was efficient and I ate down in the bar. Tasty but expensive. Had salmon one night and pot roast another - good. Desserts are not worth it. They all seemed like what I get from the freezer section at loblaws. My biggest disappointment was the lack of a business centre. You can use a laptop while standing near the check in desk and you can print (you have to ask the desk for the copies) That made it a lot harder to get my work done. There is nothing in the room like a coffee machine, fridge, or microwave (probably the reason for the great morning coffee service) but there is a nice shop in the building that also coffee tea, and cheap breakfast items like cereal.

We chose to stay at the Delta due to its close proximity to Hargrave St Market and the fact that it’s one of the few nicer downtown hotels that offers a pool area! The lobby and rooms are very nice and well maintained. The heated bathroom floors were a pleasant surprise too! That said, the pool area could certainly use a facelift. We booked our stay through a CAA price promotion that included free parking; Otherwise, the $18 parking fee would have been a hard pill to swallow for a Winnipeg hotel and potentially could have been a deterrent all together.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night to see the Jets play the Capitals (My favorite team). The hotel was nice, outside and inside, big lobby with a Starbucks as well. Disappointed it doesn't have a pool but not a huge seller. The skywalk entrance from the hotel to BellMTS Place was the kicker for me. As it was quite chilly outside, the warmth was comforting. Check in was easy as was check out. The lady working the front desk when I arrived was great and pleasant (I don't remember her name though) even upgraded my reservation from a queen to a king. I didn't have an issue with noise at all. The only issue I had and why it doesn't get the 5/5 is the room was very dusty (more so the countertops were dusted very well) upon arrival, I made sure to make a note to front desk to pass on otherwise the room was perfect. If the Caps roll through next year, I would definitely stay at that hotel again.

I Stayed 8 weeks during covid season which was very helpful and showed great kindness of the team and manageres Mrs Barkham Mr Dane to allow me to stay in a great hotel with Gym facilities. Downside.. TV is to small for the room and has no Bluetooth or Scart And is digital free satellite box channels so not great TV to watch. (but better things than watch tv. But.. On the Goodside thou was that Mrs Barkman (what a luvley lady and Manager) why she allowed me to have a microwave toaster fridge to go with my coffee machine in the corner which always stocked up with coffee as well. Room facilities are a bit old, but health is OK. The bed is particularly soft, and it will feel very tired after a night of sleep. This pure personal feeling, a small partner who likes a soft bed is a good choice! I have no breakfast in the room, which determines that the price/performance ratio is still a little low. The most important thing is that there is no free parking lot. I didn’t expect this parking time. The parking fee is 15 knives/day. Others are okay, friends who have no car live here is good, after all, it is downtown, it is quite convenient.

My sister, niece and I stayed overnight recently at this hotel, just for a girls’ overnight time together. We relaxed, played games in our room, watched TV, swam in the pool, enjoyed the hot tub, and ate supper in Aaltos restaurant and lunch the next day in the attached Tavern United restaurant. We had terrific service in Tavern from Jamie, our friendly and helpful waitress and very efficient service from Aaltos serving staff, and hostess. Food was delicious with lots of options at the buffet. We saw that the cleaning staff worked diligently in the hallways. Our hotel room was clean, and beds were comfy with nice pillows. Two areas though, are suggested for improvement; the cable TV kept losing its signal numerous times and we had to shut it off each time and then restart it and find our original channel — just as we were watching an exciting WPG Jets close game. This was very frustrating. We didn’t call for help as we were only there one night, and felt we could manage the annoying power re-starts. Secondly, we waited abt 10 min to check out which was far too long. Only one front desk staff was on duty and only one couple was in front of us checking out, but there seemed to be a problem with their bill or payment process or ?? so she was tied up for a long time. The manager (we assumed) walked out from the back office to the front desk to pick up a paper but retreated back to his office. We thought he was coming out to serve us. No he wasn’t. This well run and established hotel can & should do better in both these areas. Otherwise, the accommodations and service were very good!

Check in wasn’t much fun before you check in you need to leave a deposit of $150 the fun thing is the girl didn’t bother saying I had to ask how much there were taking. Room ok bed comfortable even though I asked for a room non poolside I got a room poolside it was fenced off and hot tub closed which is disappointing. Bathroom new tub rest off bathroom outdated. Oh hot water it’s more warm !!! Breakfast I was on the understanding that breakfast came with the room that’s the option that I choose just had to go back to reception and get a voucher then go back for breakfast otherwise breakfast after that was ok. The area restaurants 2 supermarkets easy parking and walkable.

We were greeted by a young women who couldn't even be bothered to get out of her seat. The parking lot is filled with pot holes and it is not clear where you are supposed to park. We were sent to the rear of the property and couldn't get to our room without walking around to a gloomy side entrance, because the rear door was locked! The hall carpets were old and dirty and tacked with muddy foot prints. The room was clean and the bed was ok, but the bedding &furnishings were poorly maintained and needed replacement and/or repair. There were holes in the walls, missing security locks, the thermostat was mounted side ways, a gaping steel lined hole in the bathroom wall and ancient bath floor vinyl. The toiletries had not been replenished; only hair conditioner available. Only a grubby looking little casino on the property and a dull sports bar adjacent to the hotel. Couldn't get a straight answer from the staff on where to get a decent breakfast, eventually drove a couple of kilometres into town and discovered a MacDonalds; only place "nearby" the hotel. Overall, a less than enjoyable hotel stay!

Foreign hotels have simple breakfast, they need to brew their own coffee, there is a fast food restaurant next to the heated bread crunch, and there is a Chinese restaurant not far away. Easy parking. An extra bed request can be made at the time of booking and the fee is fair.

This has been my second stay at the Clarion Hotel and Suites in Winnipeg for work travel. The staff was very accomodating when it came to early check-in to adjust to my work scheduled flights. The hotel itself is very clean with a modern updated look. The pool is a fantastic amenity (it was nice to be kidless and enjoy a pool!) The rooms were modern, clean, and had fantastic services. It was a really nice workcation. The only downside is the renovations causing an elevator to be out of service for major traffic travel. This led to extreme wait times and having to use the stairs consistently.

Motel 6, while new, was a disappointment for anyone wanting anything over the basics of a bed and tv. The bathroom was small, with shower only. The room did have a bar fridge, but no microwave, and a small table if you wanted to sit. There are no closets in the room and no drawers to store in either. The soundproofing is minimal to none, and though it boasts a pool, it is nothing more than a small rectangle filled with overchlorinated water. The continential breakfast was cereal or muffin, or an assortment of vending machine snacks and drinks. The rate was a group booking, at only $111/night. So if on a budget with no frills stays, then this is the place for you. If looking for friendly staff, and appealing amenities woth spacious rooms, then keep travelling down the road.

We stayed over the course of a weekend for a soccer tournament. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. Front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was very disappointing: the food was generally overcooked and bland. The staff seemed hurried and highly disorganized. The breakfast "buffet" was the most disappointing: very poor selection and food quality, and charging people $3.00 for toast when we already paid for the buffet makes the management seem cheap and out of touch. The restaurant management seems to be clueless on how to run the place. For the price, one would have expected a much better experience. I responded to an online survey and was told a manager would be in touch. It's been over a week and I'm still waiting......

Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay-cation at the Holiday Inn - Airport West! Welcoming and friendly service, spacious and spotless room, silky sheets on the king bed, and excellent amenities in the room. Despite the pandemic, we were able to use the pool - an efficient and fair sign-up process gave us 1 hour/day (could have been more). The continental breakfast was not included, but the location is excellent and we could easily walk across the street for sushi & bubble tea, pizza, steak, and more! Also a Shoppers Drug Mart and Liquor Mart right across the street. And, if you want some exercise, this hotel is a close jaunt to the beautiful Assiniboine Park & Zoo!

The staff at Super 8 Winnipeg East are all very friendly and accomodating. They have great safety measures in place in response to the pandemic, but it is not stressful or difficult to adapt - they make it easy, but also so you feel safe. The pool and work out facilities are well managed so you can still enjoy them but be concerned about the virus. I really enjoyed my time at the hotel and was able to relax and spend quality, fun time with my kids!

For breakfast, I have 12 Canadian dollars per person. I didn't use breakfast in the hotel. Instead, I went to the nearby Costco to buy sandwiches and coffee. It took me three minutes from the hotel to Costco, and there are plenty of places to eat. Overall good

Howard Johnson is lucky to have such amazing staff at their Winnipeg location. Austin, the supervisor is truly an amazing person who went above and beyond to accommodate our hockey team. He truly made our experience wonderful He helped with every detail to helping our team plan our transport,, meals and entertainment. We had 5 of our teams meals prepared by Christine, kitchen manager and she also went above and beyond accommodating 24 people. The food was homemade and delicious and reasonable in price.
