Stayed at the Key Hotel recently for two nights - had room 209 ( which is think is a deluxe room ) and it was just awesome. One of the most spacious 'deluxe' rooms I have ever come across - possibly around 60 - 70sqm in my estimate but well appointed and had 'smart' features. Bed ad linen was very comfortable, nice sized shower stall and a small but much appreciated feature - complimentary bottled mineral water, soft drinks, juices from the min-bar. I hate it when hotels charge ridiculous pricing for mini=bar content so this was most welcomed. The only other hotel group that I'd come across that offers free mini-bar in their room rates are the Chedi's from the GHM group. The room has widows panels that can be controlled from the bedside - once opened, they do offer one a rather nice view of the sea. Breakfast was decent - not buffet but plated though. The selection however is very good and you can always request for the kitchen to prepare whatever hot items / eggs that you might wish to have. Service in general was ok - mixed bag of individuals and service attitude but none that I would consider negative. I did have one clothing item which I sent out laundry early in the morning. Was told it would return by 8pm buy by 10pm, nothing arrived. It was only when I called reception that they then promptly checked and had it delivered to my room.

Our room was a spacious suite with a bedroom with huge king sized bed, and a living room with a sofa bed. But even though I booked through one of the online sites and specified two adults and two kids and their ages, it was only when I read the fine print of the booking confirmation when the money had already been taken that I saw they charged 15 euros extra for each of the kids "for extra beds." There was already a sofa bed, so why charge for two beds. Plus it was a giant suite that could easily accommodate the four of us. I have never before been charged extra for the kids in this way, after the booking is made. And forget the 15 euros being to cover breakfast. The selection was pathetic, hence why I'm titling this review "Stingy". Also there was no wifi reception in the main bedroom of the suite. Again, all they need is to invest in more routers. The location...great, right in the bazaar. And the locals tell us that contrary to what Lonely Planet says, it might be a big off putting to walk through the closed bazaar at night but it's not dangerous. But please note something the hotel should inform all guests: you will have to haul your bags from the main road through a fish market to get to the hotel. Or a further walk avoiding the fish market but still through the bazaar. So, no, the taxi driver is not tricking you or dropping you at the wrong place. On the plus side, the women on the front desk were friendly and helpful. Room was certainly spacious. Location very good. And it's a nice building. Had we paid the 80 euros I thought we would pay at the time of booking rather than the 110 I ended up paying this would have been a much more positive review.

Pros : the hotel is situated next to Çankaya metro station , very close to Kemeraltı bazaar , within walking distance of the Basmane train station and Pasaport .The hotel has been renovated, its rooms are clean and modern . Τhe breakfast buffet is very rich with many delicious choices . The hotel staff are very kind and room rates are reasonable . Cons : the triple room was a bit narrow and small . Hotel rooms have soundproofing problems so you can hear the slightest noise from the adjacent rooms and the main street . The hotel has only one small elevator . Turkish coffee is not included in the breakfast price . So you have to pay 8 Lira for a coffee . It's not about money because its cost is really inexpensive . I admit this is the hotel policy but it disappointed me a little because in Turkey even small family-run guest houses used to offer to their customers free Turkish coffee .

Previously stayed at another BW hotel in Izmir and thought we would have a change. It wasn’t a good idea. The hotel is in a good location, the staff are friendly and helpful, but overall the hotel is tired looking and lacks a modern feel. The room was reasonable with a reasonable view of the the sea. The bedding we assume was clean, and certainly hope so, but it was unironed and so horribly creased. This not acceptable . We were the only 2 eating in the restaurant. The room is dull and attention should be urgently given to the floor area b the room vent system- not been cleaned for some time. Food order was taken quickly. We decided against ordering wine as at 135TL for a wine that can be purchased at the Metro trade store tor less than 40TL is not good value. My wife ordered the almond chicken with asparagus- the dish arrived, it was nice, but totally lacking in any asparagus. If an item is on the menu please serve it explain that it is not available. We decided against having breakfast in the morning as the only choice was a Turkish breakfast. For an international chain the option of other types of breakfast should be made available. All in all it was a disappointing visit and can’t understand what the “Plus” is about as we didn’t get anything we would not have gotten in other hotels.

The Elite Residence Alsancak provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Elite Residence Alsancak is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Konak. From the hotel, Adnan Menderes Airport is approximately 17km away. Adnan Menderes Airport is the closest option for those who prefer to fly, approximately 17km away. The closest major public transportation, Cankaya Metro Station, is only 700m away. Keeping busy is easy, with Ismira Masaj Salonu, Gastrovagant and Aziz Polikarp's Church all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings.

Earthquake, there have been slight earthquakes for two consecutive days. The clerk told us not to panic. This phenomenon occurs every week. Breakfast is simple, bread and milk are still available. The two barbecue shops downstairs are delicious, the one at the beginning of T. It’s better. Now that these two families have eaten outside, let’s find other food, because I think there must be no good things next to the hotel. Who knows that the one next to the hotel is the best and it’s not expensive, per capita. Dozens

I can easily say that it is not more than an average hotel. The location is great for those who want to be close to the center. However, the hotel needs a deep cleaning and maintenance. The plug socket in my room was broken and I couldn't use the hair dryer, for instance. When I wanted to use an extra layer of blanket at night and found one in the wardrobe, I noticed that it was not properly cleaned as I started coughing because of the dust. The staff is helpful and welcoming and the breakfast is good.

I stayed in Hotel Marina for 3 nights (18-22 Oct). I arrived late at almost 11pm for my first night, a quick check-in was done and I headed up to my room. Once I stepped into the room, good size of room. Liked it. But I quickly realised there was a door which people could access from outside **It is NOT a terrace**, which made me feel quite insecure. So I asked the reception to change me another room. But he said he was so nice to give me a room upgrade to a double room as the single room was overbooked and trying to convince me to stay in that room (Honestly I just booked a single room). I said ‘thank you’ but I explained to him that I rather stay in a single with no access door from outside. In the end the same size of room was given on the 2/F. In the room, I tried to switch on the TV, it said‘No signal’, that’s fine, I was tired and didn’t want to bother as a late night. On the next day, I spoke to the Receptionist about the TV issue before I headed out. He said he would find someone to fix it during the room make up. I also asked about the complementary water would be daily replenished or not. I was told that would have been replenished daily. When I went back to the room at 5pm. The key was not working. I headed back to the reception to change my key. So I went back up to the room and I no water was there and the TV hadn’t been fixed. Went down again, finally a technician came to fix the TV and one more guy came to replenish the water. That’s my day one. Day 2, after my long day back to the hotel. When passing by the reception before going back to my room. Trying to ask for transportation information for getting to Bergama. The Reception staff first said no clue of getting there then indicated me to go to Pamukkale Bus (name of a bus company) to ask for the information myself. They did not even hesitate for one second to try to look it up for me. **Later I headed to the bus ticket selling office and found out this bus company didn’t provide any service to Bergama at all.** In the meantime, I also enquired to the same receptionist that I would be taking an early DOMESTIC flight (departure time: 8am) from ADB airport on my last day. So I was checking there could be any shuttle bus service (of course a ‘Pay’ one) and how much time I needed to be at the airport for checking in a DOMESTIC flight. The receptionist said ‘2 hours before the flight departure time’ and the earliest shuttle bus would be at 5:30am. I immediately questioned 2 hours for a domestic flight? But he confirmed it. **Later found out only 1.5 hours check-in time was needed for domestic, and airport shuttle bus running 24hours**. Room key was not working again. Alright, reception again! Key was done. The room was done, the new water was there. But saw stains on one of the bath towels. Whatever... My 3rd night...it’s the highlight. I did some research the night before and finally found the way to Bergama. In the day time the reception staff assisted me to fig

My and friends were there for two nights on March 14 and 15 at the start of the two weeks tour on the South part of Turkey. The bad thing: It was a small issue with the beds, when booked I asked for two separate beds not a King Bed and a sofa in a room with City view as booked and paid. It was changed to a smaller room with two single beds but with some inconveniences, the room didn't have a City view and balcony as described but a window to the rear of the hotel facing offices and residential spaces with an ugly view to air conditioning units and utilities full of garbage and cigarettes butts. I was very tired after a very long flight, car rental issues and airport transfer - driving from airport to hotel, checked in around 9 pm, didn't have the strength to deal with it so I gave up. The good thing. The hotel is located at a major intersection, e few walking minutes away to the sea or the bazaar. Everything you need you have it around. Shops, restaurants grocery stores, and what I needed the most: Currency, Exchange office and a shop where I bought a local SIM card, Turkcell I believe, they open at 9:00 am. Except the "bad things", I found staff to be helpful with everything else I inquired, info, luggage, parking. They also have city maps. Not all hotels do. The bar staff also nice. The restaurant looked closed, lobby bar as well, off season and it was pretty late in the night too, around 10 pm, nobody in but when I asked the reception they called the restaurant staff right away. We were a little concerned about the service and quality of the food judging by the the fact that we were the only customers and the waitress was also the cook and the bartender but....The lintel soup was amazing and the fried calamary with home fries were absolutely delicious. Worth a big tip! Breakfasts was typical, a little more than a continental breakfast but a little less than a 5 star hotel, but over all not bad. 3 star rating from me due to the inconvenience of the room downgrade. I will also inform Expedia.

Hackan hotel is a very lovely hotel to stay if you want to be near the ADB airport (approximately 25TL from/to the airport via taxi). The hotel staffs are lovely and helpful. When I and my friend first got to the hotel I had a problem with my sim card and they were kind enough to contact the call center for us. On the second time we stayed there (2 nights after checking out), they changed the room for us as we mistakenly booked a double bed and they knew we wanted it to be like the first time in which we booked 2 single beds. The room is nice and clean, so as breakfast. The hotel is also close to supermarket, restaurants, and cafes, very convenient for both business and leisure.

We stayed for 7 nights, had two rooms and absolutely loved the location of the hotel. The highlight was the friendly staff - they helped us with anything that we needed instantly, very attentive and helpful. A very special thanks to Ozkan as he went the extra mile of ensuring that we see new things and try new restaurants in Izmir during our stay. There is a Starbucks next to the hotel and it's very close to all the city center as well as the shore. Definitely coming back!

Because the plane in front did not catch up with the back, so I temporarily set this home, took the car from the airport and drove for a few minutes, temporarily rested for one night, the room was big, the big three was no problem, the breakfast was delicious, very recommend! Due to the late arrival, I went to Pamukkale for breakfast the next day, so the surrounding environment is not clear, but the hotel is very good.

But no matter how Ctrip returned the difference to me, thank you very much. So if the price of Ctrip is still wrong, and you want to experience this hotel again, you can try it again. The air conditioning is very warm, the room is very clean, but there is no outlet in the sleeping place? Because they changed the former double room into a single room, the socket was blocked by the bed and can only be charged in the bathroom.

This hotel has some positive points. The staff are friendly and very helpful with a lot of support from google-translate. The gym/pool is 5-star That’s about it. The appearance in the public areas and hallways is shabby. There is a tremendous shortage of lightbulbs - darkness rules everywhere, in the public areas, hallways, bedrooms, even in the bathroom. The rooms are large and empty. The bed/mattress is possibly the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced - like sleeping on a barely padded wooden box. The a/c offers two options: hot or hotter. And the window opens less than a hands width, so welcome to the sauna (in December!!) Breakfast is ok - below average for Turkey. WiFi is not user-friendly, requiring repeated sign-in and is very slow. The mini-bar fridge is no match for the intensity of the heat in the room - if you leave your bottled water in the fridge all day it comes out slightly cooled. The bathroom facilities and toiletries and accessories and towels are good Location overlooking a metro station - good for convenience, but a little noisy at times, especially considering that closing the window is out of the question. Elevators ok

It was a big disappointment, I was expecting a 4-star hotel with adequate services and comforts and instead it was a huge disappointment. I stayed in the smallest room in the hotel for the same price as my colleagues, 4 times I was not redone and at breakfast 2 times 3 days apart, they forgot to serve me the omlets ordered repeatedly. Too often the outdoor area dedicated to smokers was dirty and very neglected, next to the dining room, separated by a transparent window, there was a storage room partially covered by curtains, in which you could see the total lack of cleanliness and chaos was king.

All the staff from the front of house to housekeeping made the stay very enjoyable from the lovely room upgrade which included a balcony to the faultless service, nothing was to much trouble. It is very modern and clean, excellent food and flexible even if you wanted something that was not necessarily on the menu. Ive stopped twice now at this hotel due to been in izmir for dental treatments - main plus points are the staff - the reception staff are super helpful and speak perfect English, the young bell boy Memhet is a amazing young guy fluent in at least 4 languages and super helpful with advice on where to see - the hotel is clean bright and everything works although the WiFi could do with a serious upgrade - the hotel dog Smarts was a highlight for me travelling alone as she would come over as if she you knew you were a bit down and sore from dental treatment - I enjoyed both my stays and think the hotel managed well with the covid situation , well done 👏 A side note and Nothing to do about the hotel ! I went to Cesme the next day and took a flight to this hotel to make do with one night! Maybe it's because I booked a single room! Oh my goodness, it feels like I've been transported back to the 80's single room living in the hallway! The room is small and old! The window is facing the dark corridor, and I can hear the voice of the uncle next door. The toilet is not ventilated and the smell is terrible. I feel so miserable. I am a girl, and I am so bad to myself! Never come to this hotel again! Most of the hotels in Izhmir are expensive and not worth it! I paid half the price in Cesme and the hotel is much better than this! The breakfast is ok, very rich, but not suitable for Chinese stomach! Service in general. The decoration of this hotel is too old! It's the exaggerated court style of the 90s. I stayed for one night and didn't want to take any pictures because the room was so dark! Small and old! There are also TV dramas from the 80s, which is really a night of collapse.

Please stay away from this Hell of hotel if you care for yourself and your trip. It was one of the most disgusting dirty place and nothing similar to any pictures you see on the sites. There was no such a thing as breakfast buffet or even a descent breakfast of any kind and it was just a small plate of old used stuff that were recycled and 3 slices of lousy bread and a rotten boiled egg and the excuse was Covid virus and pandemic every single day. The rooms are small and you can smell the smoke every where and there is no such a thing as non smoking floor or room. The house keeping is lousy and dirty and each time they mop they leave your room dirtier. The cleaning towel is never washed and goes on every surface with out rinsing or changing. The towels and pillow cases are torn and old. I tried to escape the place as I had paid in advance because my agency mislead me and the manager especially one named Barlass was a complete ***** and selfish person who only cared about money and would refuse to talk to me or reimburse me in a descent manner with a usual penalty. They made my vacation like Hell to me. I changed room three times and there was a problem every where. The pipes where broken the water would come out of the bath glass door the draining was problematic. The bad smell of sewage would kill you. A constant noise of a pump that supposedly would empty the well was present even in the middle of night. They even lodged over 50 to 60 construction workers 5 in each room just for the sake of money and the hygiene was so poor there was dirty shoes and mud everywhere in stairways and at the door. No masks were used. The small elevator was almost useless. They were smoking and being loud all the time. It was impossible to sleep in the morning and night and nobody cared. No masks for the most staff. There was door banging 100 tines per hour. As I addressed the problem the irresponsible manager told me that he could not tell everyone to wear a mask because he might lose customers and that he didn't care at all. The kitchen people would touch everything and put leftover food back to new plates. The air conditioner stop working in the middle of very cold days and they was nothing to do about it. The water would tun cold as they had too many peoples and workers and it seemed more like a workers shelter than a hotel. It was a horrible horrible place and a nightmare for me. I will share some pictures as proof. Stay away from the "new Hotel Zeybek". There are so many better options in that area with a few price difference. I highly would NOT recommend that dirty dark place. Rude people mostly the two managers one male and one female. Front desk girls and employees were fine and tried to be helpful but they could do nothing.

Arrived at Izmir at night, so the nearest airport Hilton, 20 lire for 10 minutes by taxi, the reception desk is very gentle, the service standard is the same as a five-star hotel, the hotel room facilities are up to standard, safe, minibar, ironing board , Hair dryer, shower gel, and shampoo are all complete. In addition, I turned on the TV and searched 33 and 43 channels in non-Turkish languages, English and French, and I can understand them, so I was very impressed and felt very nice and friendly. Sitting on the balcony at night, the pool lighting is more beautiful, the planes flying by from time to time, I was worried that I would not sleep well at night. When I entered the room, it seemed that the soundproofing was good, and it didn’t affect it. I was still tired and slept deeply.&#128578 ;😄♪♪♪♪ For breakfast in the hotel, an additional 58 lire is added. The variety is not rich and the space to choose from is small, but the quality of service and dishes are absolutely ok. The overall feeling is not bad, compared to other local hotels in Turkey. The hotel is about 18 kilometers away from the airport. The advantage is that it is very close to the subway station. Basmane Station and the railway station are almost the same when you go out. It is more convenient to travel; from the hotel to the clock tower square Konak Meydani Kunak square can be walked, almost For 20-25 minutes, walk to the beach and turn left. It is about 810 meters from Havra Sokak Street and 1.15 kilometers from Ataturk Monument Republic Square; Saat Kulesi Clock Tower is almost the same. The city is also the center of the old city. The surrounding commerce is developed. There are small markets and restaurants for selling things. It is very prosperous. It is not far from museums, seaside pedestrian streets and other places. The hotel is considered to be a downtown area. The facilities are not new, but overall the price/performance ratio is ok, and eating around is also very convenient; the English of the waiters is not so good, the basic communication is OK, but the attitude is not enthusiastic; the breakfast is relatively simple in self-service, sometimes there are grilled vegetables The eggs are the kind that are made. It is no problem to eat saturated nutrition. Every day, seagulls come to walk and find food on the balcony. Some mountain views can be seen from the balcony.

Very nice hotel with a great location in the heart of the old and main part of Izmir (been to Izmir so many times but 1st. stay in this hotel). The senior Suite I stayed in with my wife was great (511) with direct sea and Izmir Ataturk Aniti (Monument) view from living and bed room. Staff were nice and helpful, and the most important they serve you with a smile and warmth... Thank you for making our stay so pleasant and hope to stay again in this nice hotel very soon.. All the best

Although the sparrow is small and well-equipped, it is very convenient for early flights. If you can sleep for a few hours, you will not feel so panicked. You can take the elevator directly from the hotel lobby to the departure and arrival floors (there is one in the picture) This is the top view of the lobby taken when I went to the departure floor). Very clean! The network is also good! I have to go to a shared place at the airport to eat. It’s on the lobby floor of the hotel. I don’t really like airport meals.

Kaya prestige hotel was very good. They gave us the room as soon as possible and it was really clean. The location is great and just a 3 minutes walking from a tramva station. The hotel is near to the beach and the alsancak neighborhood. The staff were polite and friendly. It was near a McDonald’s "good place to have dinner late at night". The breakfast was good for a 4 star hotel.

Location super. We arrived only for 5.5 lira from the airport by train directly (without transfer) in Basman. From there 5 minutes walk, very close. Interestingly, no one at the hotel knew that you could get directly by train)) From the hotel every day walked to the center. Breakfast was also good - several types of cheese, sausages, sausages, rolled eggs, coffee, tea, butter, jams, warm, torso, etc. The air conditioner worked well. Water was everywhere and free. The room was a teapot and coffee-tea was put every day. Every day cleaned the room, removed the garbage. Staff helped everything. Near a lot of cafes, it was possible to eat until 11th night for a normal price.
