Fully equipped, kitchen, refrigerator, washer-dryer, storage cabinet, friendly service. The surrounding area is quiet, the security is good, and the two blocks from the subway are convenient. However, it is that 12 people are not very ventilated and the indoor air is a bit poor.

Great position in Lincoln Park, surrounded by lots of shops, cafes and facilities. Adrian on front desk is very helpful, as well as Nina who helped organise our stay. Nina was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend as a great place to stay and very convenient to transport.

This hotel was great in proximity to Wrigley Field. It has an old, historic feel with modern touches. The room was clean and beds very comfortable. Rooms are quiet, albeit dated. The only downfall was parking to check in, and then parking to stay. You'll likely have to use the parking ramp behind the hotel unless you're lucky enough to find street parking: if you enter the alley immediately after the hotel, you'll need to do a Y turn to get into the ramp. One thing I'd like to see changed is that they don't fill the fridge with beverages (no room for late-night pizza leftovers), and a microwave in the room would have been nice. If you're looking for a room with all the amenities of a ”chain” hotel, this isn't it. It's basic necessities. I would stay again. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here in June of 2022 for the Dead & Co show at Wrigley. It was also pride parade weekend, so the neighborhood was hopping. The location of this hotel is awesome. It's in Boys Town right next to the Belmont El, and there are a ton of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel is really cool- art deco style, lot of rooms but not too loud. My drawbacks are that our bed was tiny. My fiancee and I felt like we were sleeping on top of one another... not a huge deal for us since it was one night, but if I had been here mutliple nights it would have been an issue. We didn't have a shower curtain upon check-in, but they did bring one. Water pressure left a lot to be desired. Overall a decent property. We paid like $350 for the night so I typically expect a little more luxury for that rate, but it was pride week and a concert in town. I'd stay here again if the rate were a bit more reasonable for the quality of the accommodations. Clean property and quiet, so clearly well-managed. 3 stars- I'd give a 4th if the plumbing were better.

First time using a Hostel experience while traveling. It is prime walking distance for anyone (or a small group of adults) to go to the Wrigley Baseball game, bars, and/or bowling. It is also easy access from the Red Line. There is a supermarket a few blocks away too. It was nice mingling with the other visitors, playing pool, scrabble, and watching TV. There are plenty of bathrooms and very clean!!! Guests were very respectful when it was time to go to bed (no one talking or watching vids on their phone etc). There is a porch with plenty of seating and beautiful flowers. Nicely decorated throughout. Rooms were air conditioned which made sleeping comfortable. Kitchen was clean, fully loaded with place settings, cookware, and seasonings to help cook. Can't beat the price!!!

I rate this hotel as a three star but know that it has very good parts and not so good. Let’s start with the pros: Clean, modern, great fitness center (this is atop an athletic club). Both breakfast and lunch menus and food were good, healthy options. Bar has a sufficient choice for everyone. It was wintertime so we didn’t use the outdoor pool, but I suspect it is fun. While not in a tourist area, it is in a good location if you need to stop by a store to pick up something you need or forgot. Staff were friendly without exception. Rooms have ample space and everything you need. The rate is reasonable too, even with the $25 daily resort fee. In room coffee was good too and there is a small refrigerator. The cons: not a place for rest or quiet. The beds are very firm, too firm really to feel comfortable. I found myself tossing around quite a bit. On our first night, we awoke at 3 am hearing the workout room below. Someone was really jamming and they no doubt had a good session. It was loud enough that I could recognize each set. I mentioned it to management the next morning and it didn’t happen again. The gym is closed until 5 am so it was odd. Other reviews note this and I know that we were not dreaming. You can hear a lot of noise between rooms as there isn’t much acoustic dampening, but our neighbors were quiet once they got settled. Our friends stayed on the 5th floor, one floor up from us. They didn’t have the noise problem. Maybe you want to ask for a room on floor 5.

Hotel is very well situated in a really nice location and we always felt safe coming & going...walked a LOT and most things we needed were very close. The Majestic is an older hotel, so the carpet and bathrooms could use a bit of updating, but the amenities were nice. Beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows, covers and AC, a MUST in summer. Separate TV room with couch and desk was worth the bit extra. Entrance requires guests to always go by the small front desk which is ALWAYS staffed day or night. This means anyone entering to use stairs or elevator must go by a staff member...a feeling of safety accompanies this arrangement. Front desk staff was always attentive and pleasant with a kind greeting. A stop by the breakfast area, though no breakfast offered since covid restrictions, was a MUST to grab a cup of their special blend coffee they've used/sourced for 10 years...it is absolutely HEAVENLY and always fresh day or night. Quaint, safe, clean and offers a pleasant stay in the heart of Chicago. The area has nice landscaping which makes you feel you are in a neighborhood...pretty & pleasant. Easy access to a bus stop, the lake and lots of nice businesses, cafes. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I stayed here for one night using 50,000 H Honors rewards and loved it. Check in was fast and friendly. Wifi is fast and reliable. Be sure to push hard on the door to open your room since it's a new door it's still kinda stiff no big deal but I figured it out! Also when getting on the right elevator make sure you use the right one since they share this property with another Hilton brand hotel here. Angela the manager was nice enough to send me a text to ask if everything was ok! That is service above and beyond what is expected! Kudos to her great customer service! The King deluxe city view room was huge! it felt like more like being in an apartment. Microwave and fridge were very convenient. The bed and pillows were super soft. The area is kind of quiet at night since it's a business district but the good thing about that is that it's quiet at night and right next door to the Willis Tower aka ”Sears Tower!” I highly recommend a visit up to the 360 observation deck. The closest restaurant that was open past 6pm was Giordanos. I had the Italian beef sandwich add cheese and it was amazing! It's right across the street. The orange line is only 1 block away right across from Giordanos and it takes you to Midway Airport in less than 30 minutes. If I am in this part of Chicago again I would definitely stay here! Thanks and keep up the good work!

The location is good and the location is good. It's not far from the subway station and the bus station. The service attitude is not bad. The view from the room is very good and there are no obstructions. The lighting in the room is very good, and the mood is also improved. The sanitary conditions are good, the bed is very comfortable and not too soft. wifi: Manual connection is required, and the room space is not small. The facilities are complete, the toilet is very good, and the cloakroom is enough for luggage. Communication is enthusiastic. Sent fruit, not bad. Breakfast: very rich, tastes good, and the overall price/performance ratio is quite high.

The hotel has a good location, just beside Michigan Avenue, and convenient to all major attractions in Chicago. The hotel environment is also very good. It is quiet and clean. The space is large enough. There is sufficient hot water supply, but there is no hot water to drink. We brought our own heat The most distinctive feature of the kettle for boiling water is the hotel’s robots, which can deliver water and daily necessities, which are available on demand, great! We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but there are many restaurants around, which are very convenient. The waiters in the hotel are very good and the service is very warm and thoughtful. Our trip felt very good, the price was affordable and the process was comfortable!

The location is next to the Netherland Theatre, a few hundred meters away from the Millennium Park. The location is good. The large 34 square meter room is spacious. Prepaid is good. If you pay by credit card debit after you leave the store, the information is lagging behind. Hotel prices vary from day to day, and the same room may double the price difference. Don't spend money. It is the most economical to buy sandwich milk from your own supermarket.

Lovely, large hotel, no more than a mile's walk (20 mins) from any centrally located landmarks. Our corner room on the 21st floor had spectacular views, and was comfortable with everything we needed. The best bath we had had in the USA! - deeper than many, and really hot. Breakfast a little basic, but we have come to expect this in the USA - coffee, waffles, cereal, eggs, sausages, fruit. Not the amazing array of cold cuts, Greek yoghurt, fresh baking etc we have enjoyed in similar hotels in Europe - Germany, Italy for example.

This was our first visit to Kimpton Gray in Chicago, IL. My husband & I stayed for 2 nights (Friday & Saturday) & used 76k IHG rewards points (the price later went up to 122k, so book early!). ARRIVAL/CHECK-IN: We arrived before check-in, but thankfully our room type was available. ROOM: Prior to arrival, I called & emailed the hotel to request early check-in, a quiet room on an upper floor & possible room upgrade. Thanks to my Diamond Elite status, they placed us in a 1 King Premium Deep Soaking Tub. Unfortunately, they could not accomodate the high floor request, so we were assigned room #601. I appreciated the welcome amenity of Acqua Panna Natural Spring Waters & dark chocolate w/ sea salt. • Amenities: Coffee maker & mini refrigerator. You can request a microwave be delivered to your room free of charge. • Bath: Plenty of hot water & decent pressure. The soaking tub is divine! • Bed: Bed & pillows both very comfortable • Cleanliness: So so. I called housekeeping upon arrival to request the team vacuum our room & wipe down surfaces. I also requested a freshen up the next day. Both were taken care of! • Decor: Average. A bit tattered around some edges (see photo of mini fridge). I did like the accent wall behind the tub though. • Heating/cooling: Worked well • Sound: Mostly quiet. The hotel does appear to host a lot of events, so there were a few loud guests walking the halls late at night. • TV: Average; no movie channels that I recall • View: A building & street • WiFi: Worked well DRINKS/FOOD: • No free breakfast offered • Boleo was closed both evenings for private events, so we could not check-out or enjoy the rooftop bar. We tried to use our $20 raid-the-bar credit at Vol. 39 on Saturday at 8:30 PM, but the bar was also closed. Thankfully, a front desk rep allowed us to grab $20 worth of snacks. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Good. We especially loved being able to contact the team via text! Super convenient. LOCATION/PARKING: Prime location. Parking not needed. OTHER: • Note: You can not use the Kimpton $30 spa credit as the hotel contracts out their spa services. • No pool Would I recommend/stay again? Not likely for full price if paying cash* (vs points). *Rates in October for this room seem to run $467.31 - $556.54/night on a Friday & Saturday. Although location is central, customer service is good & bed soft, the hotel is lacking in 4-star amenities, particularly for a Kimpton property.

The car is parked in the Chinatown parking lot next to it, 16 US dollars for 24 hours. Hotel is very nice and kept up well. The only reasons I have three stars include lack of parking, lack of towels in the room and lack of plates, bowls and flatware at breakfast. On arrival, the check in process was smooth and staff was friendly. We received bottled water. Parking was non existent. Apparently the hotel has only 20 spots for more than 200 rooms. They have no arrangements for off site parking. Though parking is at a premium in Chicago, this is ratio of available parking spots is not reasonable. It took close to 45 minutes to find a parking spot, in front of the McDonalds Hamburger University. In our room, there were no towels of any kind. We asked for towels and they were brought up promptly. Breakfast was sufficient, but at the time we were there, 9-930a, plates bowls and flatware were always missing and weren’t replenished for prolonged periods of time. The room with kitchenette and sofa bed was well kept and clean. It was quite roomy for our family of five. Only complaint was the loud music from a neighboring building that was heard by our room’s outside wall.

This is easily the worst Marriott I have stayed at, not even considering that it is likely the most expensive. I try to always stay at Marriott properties but this one is lacking and I regret it. The bathroom is maybe 5x6ft. The door nearly touches the toilet and rests against the tub. The tile in the bathroom/shower is cracked. The washcloths are stained yellow. The shower head leaks. Why is the light in the shower a strange color? Oh, because of the dead flys and roaches in the bowl. There is enough dust caked on the sprinkler in the ceiling that you can’t hardly tell what it is except for the chrome color. I booked a room with a King, had several emails and app notifications confirming the King but I was given a double queen. Not a big deal, it’s a one night stay, but annoying considering it said my room selection was “guaranteed.” The TV is on the small and older side. This room is just weird in general, you walk through a common door that leads to two separate rooms. May be good as a family thing? Who knows. Food/prices at the bar were laughable for what you get. I mean. Gave it two stars because the AC worked and the beds appeared clean. Other than that, this place is just bad folks. Look elsewhere.

Taniya, Natasha and Jazzlynn at the front desk were always patient and friendly. Concierge was helpful and welcoming. The hotel provided a good voucher each day for the Grant Park Bistro where again the staff and quality were definitely 5 star! The hotel service is good, the room for this price has everything you need, a coffee machine, glasses, writing materials, all toiletries, even toothpaste and a toothbrush. but as for me, the design of the rooms is not very cozy and the hotel itself is very old. despite the new furniture, freshly painted walls, windows and doors straight from the last century, which generally spoils the impression. but for unpretentious tourists or those who need to spend the night, I recommend the hotel.

In Ctrip, I booked two big bed rooms. As a result, the hotel was told that there was only one big bed room. The hotel manager explained that Ctrip did not specify the specific room type when ordering. The online contact customer service Ctrip has been procrastinating, resulting in 184cm son in Canada. The small bed lay down for two nights. Once again, I will appreciate Ctrip's super service and go to Ctrip.

The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to Millennium Park, Glitter Park, and the Art Gallery of Chicago. It is a 10-minute walk to Lake Michigan and the cruise ship terminal. There is a Cantonese restaurant near the hotel, which is very delicate and tastes very good. The net red deep pizza restaurant Giordano's is also nearby. Next to the hotel is a CVC store, shopping is super convenient. The hotel is in a good environment, the view of Lake Michigan can be seen in the room, the service is good, the room is clean. A recommended hotel
