The location is excellent on the main island of Venice. From the train station, take the water passenger boat to the Santa Marco Square and walk for five minutes. It is just that the hotel must be strictly in accordance with the two o'clock in the afternoon to stay for one minute and will not let you stay in advance. The room was small enough for a night, although the facilities were old and decorated, but it was very early and small but clean and clean (clean means only items that can be changed). Other things like wall bathtubs are inconvenient and easy to change. It’s quite dirty to catch up with the three hotel front desk staff to hand over one of the Philippine chubby gentlemen and other European face staff than the attitude is simply too much and amiable

We can't fault this lovely hotel, it really is a hidden gem. It's in a perfect location, just a few hundred yards from St Mark's Square and many famous sights. It was also a real advantage that this hotel is only a few minutes walk from the waterbus stop (San Zaccaria) because during our stay we saw many other tourists walking over bridges and down side-streets looking for their hotels! There are many shops, bars and restaurants in the surrounding streets and although we stayed in August the hotel was amazingly quiet. As a family of 5 adults, we had three different rooms on floors 2 and 3 and all our rooms had attractive décor and were equipped with everything we needed. Some reviews have mentioned mosquitos, but we stayed mid -August and we had no issues at all-and I am usually a mosquito magnet! However, we did not open the windows but did not need to do so, as the rooms were air conditioned. All of the staff we met were helpful and friendly and created a welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast had a good choice of cereals, pastries, cheese, meats, hard boiled eggs, and toast. We'd stay here again and do not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

This is a hotel with a profound artistic background. The entrance of the hotel is not too big, and there are surprises everywhere after entering. It is especially suitable for taking pictures and punching cards. The service is also very good. I came in winter, and the room is very warm. I can see the entire lagoon from the balcony. The location Excellent. An extra bed is available. It was already 22:00 when I checked in. I came to the hotel restaurant with the mentality of giving it a try. I didn’t expect the most amazing thing to be the upstairs restaurant. This is the most formal Italian restaurant in Europe. Eat Serving a dish with a set of tableware is too particular. It was great to have a great foie gras, the beauty of the dessert and the rich flavors. The buffet breakfast the next morning was even more unexpected. Not to mention the top-notch view, the rich and delicious breakfast is also top-notch. The location is very close to the Bridge of Sighs. St. Mark's Square is so beautiful, and the products in the nearby shops are also very good. 80 euros to sit on the gondola, it is worth it! Take a water taxi from the hotel to the airport, 130 Euros and board the boat directly from the side door of the hotel lobby, which is very convenient. When I came to the hotel, I didn’t understand. I took the water bus, 15 euros per person. The bus stopped when it saw the station. The boat was full of people. It took an hour to get to the St. Mark’s Square station. I got off the boat and walked 300 meters with my suitcase. After about 10 meters, we crossed the Bridge of Sighs and arrived at the hotel. It's not very convenient. If you take a water taxi for 130 Euros from the airport, you can go directly to the side entrance of the hotel lobby in 20 minutes.

Perfect little hotel few minutes away from main attractions. Tucked in a narrow alley next to the cute little campo. Good local cafe and bakery downstairs and a nice bar just around the corner. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Room on the small side but cosy, comfortable and very clean. Nice bathroom with two sinks ans big shower. Rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy, especially early in the morning when local shops open and late in the evening when people are having fun in surrounding bars but that wasn’t a big issue, certainly not something that would put me off form staying there again. In January the price was great and the hotel was not busy. Overall a great place to stay in Venice!

The hotel is in a great location for exploring Venice. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was clean with a seated area, tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar fridge and free to use safe. Lovely strong/hot shower and toiletries' supplied. The breakfasts are continental style and amazing, such a great selection of fruit, cold meats, cheeses, eggs. Also warm pastries and delicious biscuits and cakes everyday. Too cold for us to use but in warmer weather there is a courtyard to relax in. Fresh filtered coffee is available throughout the day with homemade biscuits in a comfy lounge where you can watch the world go by. Our luggage was looked after for us on the day we left. I would highly recommend this hotel as a great base to stay.

I like it very much and I have recommended it to my friends. The outside of the hotel is very well-maintained, the facilities are very good, there is a very good smell in the air, the service staff is very warm, the breakfast is simple, but it is very particular, and finally eat hot bread. The palatial feel of the room decoration. The wall covering of the full house. Specially designed for Italian decoration. The single room that was occupied on the National Day, more than 800, the price is good. I also came across a wedding photo with a good mood.

I can't understand all the good reviews. I was stayed here for 3 nights. The location is wonderful. Just a few minutes to the train station and a Vaporetto station almost right in front of the door. Bars and restaurants are also in the immediate vicinity. The room ( EZ under the roof ) is very small, spartanian furnishings, furniture almost crack, with a sharp stairs and the roof is very low so I could not stand up with my 1.80m. And it is very bright. You hear from the guests in the neighbouring room so quite everything. Also the bathroom is small. If you are big or very bodybuilding, it becomes difficult. I hit the knees on the wall when I sat on the toilet. After my arrival, I found hair on the ground and dust that was not only one day old. What I found quite evil. Unfortunately, I can't upload photos to this. After I told the host, my room was cleaned immediately and then it was okay. However, I was assumed by the renter that I had put my hair there myself. That's a wickedness and it's not going!! I don't think you can handle criticism here!! I got a negative review on Airbnb. Sergio has been very unfriendly and superb. I have not been allowed to experience the famous Italian friendship. Marcella is, however, a very nice host who provided me with everything I needed. Also tips what you should have seen. Venice is an amazingly beautiful city and I will surely come back. But you will choose another accommodation!!

This hotel is advertised as 3 stars, but comes nowhere near to meeting the minimum requirements for 3 stars - It may have been a long time ago but it is definitely not anymore. Staff are not Italian, but from Bangladesh. Communication was an issue - there was only one staff member that worked in the afternoon that could understand English. If you ask them to order you a taxi, they get one of their ”friends” to transport you (which costs more than a normal taxi). The rooms are very small and tired. The bathroom floors are very slippery - my mother fell and hurt herself. Check-in was only available from 3 pm. We arrived on an 11 am flight and were made to wait till 3 pm. There is nowhere to leave luggage securely until check-in. After waiting till 3.30, the cleaner was still busy in the room when we went upstairs to settle in. There is no dining facility (the dining room is closed up). The air-conditioning only operates in the cooler hours of the day - not active between 1 am and 6 am and also between 9 am and 4 pm, which are the hottest parts when needed most and turns off if you open a window and you have to call reception to reset it. It turns off when you leave the room and remove the key. Lots of mosquitoes. We had two different rooms during our stay and both had issues with non-working lights and power points, no bar fridge, and only 1 skinny pillow (more were supplied after multiple requests). There is a lift, but only large enough for one person and a small suitcase. the two of us had to take turns in the lift with our suitcases. There is nowhere in the bathroom to put clothes, toiletries, etc (only one small towel rail and hook) - nowhere in the shower for soaps, etc. Rooms are only serviced (cleaned and re-stocked) every second day. It is convenient to public transport, however, there are very limited and mostly poor eating options in the area. The beds were comfy enough. Only Italian channels were available on the TV in the room.

I’ve chosen this hotel for it closeness to airport, coz I arrived late night. There was long line for taxi, no another transportation at night. The location of the hotel makes possible to walk to it, 20 min. I had small and clean room , nice breakfast. Atmosphere is quite nice and calm at the hotel. Also there is a bus stop close to get to city center. I would advice to add the compliment water for your guests.

This hotel is somewhat brand new, maybe about 3-4yrs. Rooms are decent size along with bathrooms. If you need to stay close to the Venice Airport, they offer shuttle service for a fee ($15 for 2 persons) and operate hourly. Hotel has a restaurant downstairs, complimentary breakfast and casual dining for dinner (at your cost) which is very convenient. We would certainly stay here again, if you've been to Venice a couple of times and want to be close to the airport for ferry service to other islands, this is an alternative to consider which is why we choose to stay here. I want to give a shout out to Antonella & Dan (shuttle driver) they made our stay extra nice, along with great customer service, and can't forget Booboo, (local resident) that loves to greet people in the morning. We'll be back for sure in 2024!

We have just returned from a 2-night stay at this lovely hotel. It is well positioned for all the sights and there is a public water taxi stop next to the front of the hotel. The staff make all the difference. Valentino and another young man, whose name I didn’t get, were on reception for the 2 nights we were there. They didn’t stay behind the desk but came out and circulated and were engaging with all the customers, genuinely interested in what everyone had been doing. As front of house, they were outstanding. We had a side canal view. We paid a premium and being only 5’2” if I leant out, with my husband holding my ankles, I could see the Grand Canal. Not sure I would go for this option again. The room itself was small but very comfortable. We both slept very well. The only ****** was breakfast. I would like this to be self-service. On entering the breakfast room, we were advised that we had to have table service we were automatically given some bread rolls and croissants on the table. I like to have a look and then choose my own size portions, normally small. I observed that several people seemed to want to do self-service, but this wasn’t an option. A lot of rolls and croissants weren’t used as not everyone wanted them and I assume went to the bin. Also I just like to be left to do my own thing at breakfast. Table service for tea and coffee would be good. Unfortunately, this is something that would put me off using the hotel again. The only other small issue for me is the individual shampoo etc in the bathroom. I much prefer refillable dispensers which create far less plastic waste.

This was a fantastic place to base for our 4 nights in Venice. It was not far from the vaporetto stops and also it was easy to walk to the nearby attractions and had many food choices just south of the accommodation. Not to mention the little cafe below the building and the gelato shop. The host, Giampaulo, was always very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. He would always listen to me rambling with a new Italian word on each occasion he was in the front office with a cheerful smile. The room had a view of the canal right in front and was breathtakingly beautiful. The room was very comfortable and on the first night Giampaulo supplied a bottle of wine and on departing some venetian biscuits were also given to us as a thankyou. I would not hesitate to stay again as it is quite peaceful and very comfortable within walking distance of main attractions.

We stayed 3 nights in order to visit Venice. The staff are wonderful, polite and helpful. They made us a takeaway breakfast for the airport without us even asking. This place is incredibly good value, Our room was big & had a king size bed. The bathroom had a really powerful shower. Everything was spotless, we had towels changed and the room serviced daily. There is a brilliant restaurant around the corner on Dante Street, good quality food and not expensive. I would recommend this hotel for Venice, the bus is only 2 minutes walk and is very regular. The train station is 10 mins walk. You can get a shuttle bus from the airport for about 8€ and just walk down 1 street to the hotel. The breakfast was ok, croissants, nice fresh bread rolls, yoghurt, juice, cereal. Plenty for a speedy breakfast before an early start in Venice. (Get there as early as you can to beat the crowds and see the massive operation of getting the City into action) The Wifi in the hotel was great. There was a TV with only Italian channels, but it did have music channels as well. This hotel is such a bargain. Enjoy!

My husband I stayed here for a couple days after finishing a cruise. We had no idea what to expect and were a little concerned about finding the hotel, how the service would be and how on earth to find our way to the airport when it was time to leave. Fortunately, luggage porters were eagerly waiting for travelers at the bus station to help us over the bridge to our hotel and it was a very short walk once we crossed the bridge. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was totally modern. And, breakfast? The options were endless and delicious. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Stefan and Degu who were the best hosts we could have dreamed of! Not only did they speak fluent English but they totally made us feel like we were at home! They were incredible! With so many hotels to pick from, we felt like we won the lottery with these guys! Stefan recommended a restaurant for dinner and we could not have been happier with our last meal in Venice. He even helped us with getting bus tickets to the airport for our journey home. I have to admit, it tugged at my heart to say goodbye, even after only knowing them for 2 days. What an incredible way to end our vacation! We could not have asked for better!

My wife and I traveled to Italy for two week in October . Our trip started in Venice and we spent 4 days and 3 nights @ Ca Rialto House Hotel . The hotel in located steps away from Rialto bridge and the water taxi is located steps away form hotel front door The hotel is very old as our most things in Venice , the lobby is nice , the staff is wonderful and go out of their way to to take care of their guest Are room was on the small side , we had 2 Windows that over looked an alley , so not much of view . Room was decorated in traditional Old Italian decor , it was reallnice and I came to appreciate it more and more . We had nice bathroom , shower had lots of water pressure and hot water . The AC worked fantastic I mentioned the room ws on smaller side , but once we organized our suits cases it was more than ample space . We were out all day and if the afternoons we would come back and enjoy our room . The hotel offered a nice breakfast every morning , and there were 2 or 3 restaurants and coffee bars right outside of the front door Hotel is centrally located at rialto bridge , it is an easy walk to San Marks square and other areas of Venice . We venture to the neighborhoods across the Rialto bridge , we found lots of great restaurants and cafes with a lot less tourist . Overall we loved our stay at Ca Rialto and would definitey stay here again The also have outside deck that offers a view of the Grand Cannel , great spot to bring bottle of wine and drink on the deck and enjoy the view

We were helped with our bags to our apartment, settled in and shown where things were. It was a great way to have an additional bed without the cost of an extra hotel room. We were impressed with the lovely European styling of the apartment and excellent facilities - a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave. Our bins were emptied each day, we were there for 3 nights and felt safe, secure.

The hotel is on a separate island and there is only this hotel on the island. The environment is well maintained. There is a pool and restaurant on the roof. You can see the main island of Venice. In terms of transportation, there is a ferry to and from San Marco Square on the main island. The boat and the one-way shuttle bus to St. Lucia Railway Station on the main island are free. We live in small suites, the rooms and beds are large, the bathrooms and cloakrooms are large, and the experience is very good!

It was already 11 o'clock in the evening at the airport. I took a bus to the hotel and it was very convenient. It will arrive in five minutes. The hotel room is large. One room and one living room. Can live 4 people, we are more than enough to live. The front desk also has a bus ticket to Venice Island, which is very convenient. This price is at the hotel and the price is very high.

We stayed here for 3 nights early September for our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was the first time we’d been to Venice and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Before I write the hotel review, I would like to highlight to travellers that haven’t been to Venice before and perhaps aren’t aware of how the travel works to and from the airport that no cars are allowed onto the Venice island. We weren’t aware of this before we travelled and paid €90 (£80) for a taxi that drops you at the termini. You then head over a very large bridge and walk to your hotel. I would recommend that you take the bus from the airport which takes the same length of time for around €11 (£10). The buses leave the airport terminal frequently. The hotel is around a 20 minute walk from the termini. I would recommend paying the £2 roaming fees (check price with your network provider) as it would have been impossible to find the hotel without- we arrived quite late at night. We had let the hotel know that we would be arriving late and they arranged for a member of staff to be there to greet us. The hotel is small, with very few rooms, but lovely and very comfortable. Our bedroom had a balcony that looked onto the canal- not sure all rooms do, so definitely ask if this option is available as the view was beautiful in the morning. Although the room also overlooked the streets it was very quiet and we weren’t disturbed. Breakfast was tasty- it was a cold breakfast of cereal, yogurt, meats, cheese, rolls and pastries and the coffee was delicious! There are lots restaurants and bars close to the hotel. You will find that a lot of them around lunch and dinner will not serve drinks only- you will need to search out these places that will. A lot of people tend to head towards the Grand Canal for meals. You will pay extra in these places and to be honest they aren’t as nice as the cute quirky places around the side streets. There is a very small pizza/pasta place with canal side eating, close to the hotel called Al Garzoti. It’s highly rated on trip advisor and was delicious and cheap- it gets very busy so you will need to book. We didn’t take a gondola, but there are plenty of these available. If I remember rightly a 30 minute ride was around €70. We did take one of the boat trips to a couple of the neighbouring islands- I would definitely recommend seeing Burano. The colourful houses and buildings are so pretty! These boat rides are pretty reasonably priced. Enjoy your trip to Venice! :)

There are not many recent reviews on Trip Advisor so we didn't know what to expect. We were contacted ahead of our trip and told to call a number when we arrived. We did and were given a code, we entered the property to find our keys waiting. The room was dark but I imagine that is the norm for Venice! The room was perfect for us, very central, easy to find and the ideal base to explore Venice. Nice bed, clean and checked daily. This is not a typical hotel with reception staff etc. I imagine if we had issues we could call (they allowed us to leave our bags in the hall due to our flight time), but we didn't so no need. You preorder breakfast from a list and it's bought to your room each morning. Huge portion of scrambled eggs and bacon and then bread/pastries. My only requests would be: Mirror in the bedroom rather than just the bathroom The other not ideal thing is that our room was directly next to the small kitchen area where they prepare breakfast. Whilst I appreciate the housekeeper was trying to be quiet it did disturb me each morning (I am a light sleeper!)

The reading reviews had made me fear to find a sophisticating structure, but the opposite is, my fellow and I were very good, the comfortable, clean, comfortable room. It was my first stay at Master and, hopefully, I will always choose this hotel for your stay. ...

This hotel is located in a great part of Venice that is incredibly walkable to all of the big landmarks and to so so many local restaurants. While many reviews say it is hard to find - it is not. Google walking instructions TOTALLY WORK. Look at signs on the buildings - they are small but there. The hotel e-mailed me AND WhatsApp messaged me before the stay to make sure I filled out the visitor paperwork / information they need. The hotel then e-mailed me the codes to get in to the building and our room. They do have someone on site - the house keeper is there in the morning through around 2:00 pm. There is no breakfast that we could see but we did not pay for one. The room was comfortable, the location fantastic, and we were very happy with our stay.

Everything you read about Ca’Maria Callas is true - the fantastic location, elegant rooms, helpful and friendly employees, great breakfast, and magical atmosphere created by the church bells and singing gondoliers passing by your window on the picturesque canal beneath. We arrived late so nobody was on duty at this time. However, clear instructions had kindly been sent to us via phone by Chiara so this was not a problem. We did not get the actual room I’d seen online with small balcony - but I soon realised that this was because we’d been given a newly refurbished one. This was the occasion of my 60th birthday, and thoughtful touches such as this and the complimentary gift received were both surprising and greatly appreciated. (Note: For the info of any older guests, I have been remiss in not taking photos inside, but would just point out that the bedroom of this particular room was quite dark and there was a fairly steep staircase leading to the bathroom above). The bed was extremely comfortable and WiFi very efficient, whilst the bathroom upstairs was clean, lovely and light, modern, and well equipped - and it too overlooked the canal, which I had not anticipated so this was an added bonus! Breakfasts were substantial and delicious and the waitresses warm and friendly. Unfortunately, I have mislaid the name of the young man on Reception, but he was exceptional. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for him, and he made everything so easy when answering our questions with a smile. He also recommended a great spot for hiring a gondolier for my special birthday gondola ride, which was just perfect! This property really does have something special in my opinion - you feel instantly at home in this traditional building with its internal courtyard, downstairs door opening directly onto a canal, and warm hospitality. Despite being in the San Marco area within such easy walking distance of vaporetto stops and lively restaurants and bars, its quiet and peaceful location tucked away behind La Fenice Theatre is such that it makes you feel as if you’re in the very heart of am authentic local area of Venice!

We thought our stay at the hotel was quite good. It is in a quieter part of Venice, but only a 10 minute walk from abundant numbers of restaurants, stores, etc. The physical building of the hotel is quite beautiful and very well-maintained with impressive public spaces. It has a gorgeous garden, which leads to the dock that is on the lagoon. The water taxi ride from the hotel to the airport was a short as you can have in Venice. While the hotel is not especially near the busiest parts of the city (which we regarded as somewhat of a plus) it offers a reasonably priced water shuttle service that drops you off right in the epicenter of the city. And, we found that walking around the area of the hotel was quite interesting in terms of seeing how the real people of Venice live, rather than feeling that we were caught up in a perpetual tourist trap. Because one thing Venice is not short of is tourists, who seem to outnumber Venitians by a factor of 3 to 1. Our room was excellent, beautifully decorated and quiet. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but breakfast service was very good. And, the hotel staff went out of their way to answer questions and be sure we were pointed in the right direction at all times. All in all we would call our stay a real plus.
