The staff at this Quality Inn were always pleasant and welcoming. The price was great. The breakfast was much better than other Quality Inn's I've stayed at. Parking space was good. They are located between a Sonic and an Arbys. Right around the corner is The Spicy Taco which is amazing. I highly recommend this Hotel.

We didn’t want to drive home in the dark after our flight and we didn’t know how much snow we would encounter in our driveway, so we stayed here over night. The young ladies checking us in were really friendly and nice. The room was excellent, we liked how the bed was placed against the bathroom wall, rather than one adjacent to another room. The room was warm and clean! The breakfast room was clean and filled with yummy delights, we didn’t have the chocolate waffles, as plain waffles were the only choice at several of our Vacation hotels, but chocolate sounded fun. They had Greek yogurt smoothies and pressed juices.

I've always loved to travel and normally am on a plane at least once a month. But like many others, I suspended my travel because of Covid. I delayed a trip to Denver at least twice. When Google reminded me I was to fly again, I finally decided to take the chance. Suffice to say, that the travel experience with the airport is a lot more tedious than it used to be. You have to carry a Covid pack with you (masks, gloves, surface sanitizer, hand sanitizer, face shield and more). A pain! Plus you have no control of other passengers in the airport (some who only put on their mask to make it through security, took them off and then put them back on to get on the plane. That said. I decided to choose an reasonably priced hotel, about $89 a night, that was a good distance away from the city. It's requirement is that it had to have a kitchen, so I wouldn't have to 'eat inside' of a restaurant in an unfamiliar city. The other requirement is that the hotel be far away from the city, but not too far from the airport, so I could freshen up, before getting back on a plane. This Candlewood Suites Denver Northeast-Brighton, was the perfect spot. It was clustered in next to a Hampton Inn and a Comfort Suites. Location-Let me say this is about 40 minutes from Downtown Denver, if there is any significant traffic. Although there is a mall of some kind nearby, this area does not have a lot of development. Which is good, because there wasn't a lot of traffic cruising through the property. There is a highway that runs next to the hotel, but I heard absolutely no sound from it, during my visit. Surroundings- Not a lot of vegetation around, mainly a nice size parking lot, which seems to be shared with the next hotel. Downtown Brighton is about 6 minutes away from the hotel. I found the, "Main Street Cafe" there, the breakfast was absolutely huge and delicious. Check-In- Well things have changed. Mask are required to enter the public spaces of the property, which is good. The staff shows where they soak the key card in an anti-virus pool of liquid. The person explain to me in depth what procedures they take to reduce the chances of Covid exposure in the rooms, like letting them sit longer after a guest leaves and it is cleaned. Also that they strip the beds entirely and replace the linen. I was satisfied. The room, was a nice, clean and large comfortable size for one person or two. I used sanitation wipes on areas that I know I normally touch in a room, but it appeared already thoroughly clean. I also brought with me, some new clean sheets to put on top of their sheets. Again, I was being extra cautious. It is NOT saying there was an issue with their bedding. The refrigerator and microwave came in handy. To minimize eating out, I used the Cracker Barrel app on my phone to order dinner from a location outside of Denver on my way back to the hotel from photography around the city. Cracker Barrel, brings the food

1. Holiday Inn, Brighton, Denver We stayed at this new hotel at the beginning and end of our 4 week holiday in June/July 2019. We chose it for it’s proximity to Denver Airport and this proved to be ideal at approx.20 mins drive. The staff were extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. We had experienced stressful lengthy delays, re-routing and cancellation of flights at the start of our holiday from the UK to Denver, which altered our booking and arrival times, etc. The staff accommodated our requests for changes with ease and were so helpful; they turned around a horrible start to our holiday and we were then able to get on with our ‘Great Adventure’ . The rooms were fresh, clean and comfortable with many USB points and the amenities, pool etc. were very good. The buffet breakfast was as a good start to the day and had vegetarian options, as well as the usual items, including newspapers. There are shops and restaurants nearby and it is a good hotel as a base for exploring Denver, the Rockies, etc. as it is a quiet and peaceful place to return to at the end of a busy day or to spend some time relaxing and resting.

I highly discourage everyone to not stay here. Pictures are very deceiving. I stay at La Quinta's all over and all the ones around the Denver area are definitely not up to LA Quinta's normal standards. Due to our family size and dogs we always stay in a suite. Upon entering our room it was smaller than even the normal standard rooms. We were supposed to have a sofa bed and the 'couch' was the size of a small loveseat. My husband then pulled the cushion off to make sure it was a pullout bed only to find a sex toy 🤢. Luckily we didn't unload all of our stuff yet. We immediately left the room and requested a refund as we weren't going to stay there. As of this moment they are trying to charge us for that night which I will be in contact with the hotel and corporate if the charge does go through. If your looking for a place to stay I suggest Candlewood Suites in Thornton. Nice large rooms with full kitchenettes and right next to lots of shopping and an outside playground for the kids.
