The place is small but very delicate and tidy. Close to the subway station, it is also convenient to go to Times Square. Similar to the picture on the page. Seeing that there are many hotels in Times Square that are old and dirty, I feel that this is simply worth the price.

I stayed at The Williamsburg hotel while visiting my daughter who lives in the area. The hotel is beautiful with an up- beat feel. The entire hotel staff was amazingly friendly! Beats Manhattan hotels in this category hands down! The neighborhood is wonderful. The rooftop pool is a plus as well. A very young and LIVELY crowd, but I was with my daughter so it was fine. And this IS New York. Views at night from water tower are unbeatable. My room was thoroughly cleaned daily. The bed was very comfortable and views from 8th floor windows were lovely. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will go back when visiting again. I would give it 4.5 stars instead of 5 only because the shower leaked onto the surrounding floor when using the rainfall shower head. Thank you Williamsburg staff for the outstanding hospitality!

We have heard great things about this hotel but have not had the opportunity to stay there yet. What I do want to say though is how great their customer service is and how accomodating there are. My husband was supposed to stay there for a friend's wedding at the end of a business trip to the east coast. Due to the coronavirus scare his flight and trip were canceled. Even though our reservation was non-refundable I called and Saul agreed to cancel it for us due to the circumstances. So thank you, Saul, and thank you Point Plaza Hotel for putting your customers first!

Just wanted to write this review after being spooked about all the recent one-star reviews about the William Vale. We’ve been here two nights so far, and the hotel and service have been uniformly excellent, which was a huge relief after reading the other reviews and wondering what kind of disaster we’d signed up for. All the staff have been pleasant and immediately responsive, elevators were quick (less than a minute every time), rooftop bar was really cool although did require reservations, dinner at Leuca was VERY good, and we’ve had room service twice and everything was delivered on time and as ordered and tasted great. Really, other than the rooms being small (which is more than made up for by the amazing views) we haven’t seen any of the problems that have been reported by a number of recent guests. It’s expensive but feels worth it to us. Just our personal opinion, but hope it helps give a more balanced perspective.

Nice place to stay. Rooms are compact but complete. More TV channels on big screen than any other hotel I've ever stayed in. They used to provide a nice breakfast but pandemic has stopped that for now; hopefully that will return. Parking available usually on site at no extra charge. Staff always pleasant and helpful. We like that it appears to be family run and not part of a large chain. We've stayed there many times, and it's consistently excellent.

The location is in the Jewish residential area, the street is not clean, shopping and eating around is difficult, and the traffic is inconvenient to the subway. The only advantage is that it is close to Pratt. In fact, the choice of downtown hotel is better, the price is almost the same, only 10 minutes walk, the convenience difference is 10 times.

No breakfast at the hotel. The hotel is an express hotel next to the airport. The price is too expensive, that is, for the morning shift night flight. The twin beds are all 1.3 m beds. We passed the check in at 2 o'clock in the middle of the night, took the airtrain to the memorial circle, called the hotel front desk, and arrived in 20 minutes. Fortunately, the phone number of Ctrip's note is correct. Since it is a fast hotel, if the conditions are similar, it is recommended to choose the Holiday Inn directly, their car has been waiting there.

Minimalist breakfast. Because I had to leave for Chicago for two days in the middle of the road, I was able to leave my luggage here after I had a feeling of trying and talking with the front desk. I agreed very quickly. So I decided to live here after I returned to New York from Chicago.

It's okay to stay alone for one night, the room is not large, the breakfast is not much, and it can barely cope. This hotel is not suitable for a few days; the security is OK [Advantages]: Very close to the airport, there is a microwave in the room! !! !! !! And a kettle! !! The hotel provides a free bus to take you to the airport, every 4 hours from 4 am to 11:30 am; every hour from 12 noon to 2 pm. However, there are many black people in this hotel. Among the five or six hotels I have stayed in, there are more black people. The composition of the people in the hotel is about 70% to 75% white Asians and 25% to 30% blacks. I only stayed for one night. It feels safe for me, but it is best not to stay for a long time. no problem

It is a general motel class hotel. However, their pick-up service was particularly good. After getting off the baggage, they called the front desk. The car arrived in about 3 minutes. I have not seen such a fast pick-up service after so many places. I have to pay special awards. Breakfast..... not how, don't expect too much.

The hotel is very good, about 5-10 minutes walk from the subway station, near the NW line, a little farther away from the E, NQRW line. The overall style of the hotel was old and retro. At the beginning, I was afraid of noisy on the second floor (actually soundproofed). The hotel helped me to switch to a 12-room room with a balcony. Finally, when checking out, the average weekly service tax of about 20 knives is collected every day.

The room facilities are complete and pleasant. Free yoga mats and foam shafts are provided. Morning and evening workouts can be played on the TV. Everything is related to the concept of fitness. However, the service of the restaurant electric lemon was really bad. When the breakfast was taken, the waiter gave the menu and left. No one came to ask for coffee or tea. After a few minutes to prepare the order, I couldn't find the waiter ... … Finally stopped a waiter passing by, I said I was ready to order, and she was still unhappy to ask me Are we in a rush? (Is it in a hurry?) This attitude and tone really made me doubt myself Not a five-star hotel.

Check in during the 2020 Chinese New Year. The hotel is located next to the Central Station, about 15 minutes walk from Times Square, and check-in is fast. In addition, each room will have to pay an additional $ 45 destination tax per night (of which 15 per night) The US dollar can be used at hotel convenience stores, and the other 10 US dollars can be used at hotel bar counters. The elevator speed is very, very fast, and generally does not need to wait long. There is 2 pieces of free luggage storage in each room, and the baggage of more than 2 pieces is charged at USD 3 each. Also remind, when checking out, remember to let the front desk print a detailed consumption list to check the specific charges. It is very common for hotels to charge more!

Times Square
There are not many people who comment on it. The hotel is on 49th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues. The roads in Manhattan are easy to recognize, just right and street. Start on Fifth Avenue and then sixth, seventh, Broadway and eighth. In the middle is the street. The Port Authority's main station (that is, the coach station) is on 42nd Street, Times Square is on 47th Street, and the subway can be a 50th Street station, very close. A lot of food nearby (Ichiran Ramen, Shake Burger, Michelin Steak House). The hotel is not a well-known brand in the chain, it is relatively small and not luxurious, but the price is not cheaper than the surrounding Marriott or the like. Last year, I stayed at Marriott very large. The exterior looks larger and more luxurious than this. After all, his infrastructure is very early. But this good place is closer to Times Square than the quiet Marriott there, rooms have microwaves, coffee machines, free fruit and apples, bananas, potato chips, ice water for 24 hours downstairs. There is coffee and tea on the second floor, and friends can sit there. There are slippers, umbrellas and toiletries in the room. L'Occitane. These are not available in American hotels. Dental appliances are not. I booked an agent's twin room at Ctrip at first, which was 500 yuan cheaper than the official website. There are two types of twin beds on the official website. One is ordinary and the other is a barrier-free room with a handrail. The difference between these two types is 500. The double bed marked on Ctrip did not say that it was an accessible room. I booked Ctrip for a small farmer. The fact that I got the room was a barrier-free room, and that 500 was not bad. And it was very low on the third floor. It was super dark in high-rise New York. I went to the front desk to upgrade the suite. The front desk gave me a good discount and added me 50 dollars a day. Hall, bedroom with double bed, double sofa bed in the hall, both bath and shower, and 3 cloakrooms with bathrobe hangers. Ctrip's hotel booking is really very metaphysical, the price and official website are not bad, the room type is difficult to determine, I have learned lessons before. Anyway, the hotel location is convenient and the facilities can be serviced or not. The price is not bad. People do not look at their choices. There is a parking lot on the side of the hotel, and you can also park on behalf of the guests. On the side is the Ambassador Theater staged by Ryoko Micura of Chicago, which is opposite the Mormon Theater.

Chelsea
A colleague and I recently booked a few rooms, 4 nights, mid-week, for a business engagement hosting out of town visitors in NYC. Because I was working, I needed a few amenities: room service, shipments to the front desk, a quiet room…and not much more. Upon check-in it became apparent that Renaissance Chelsea hotel was challenged in providing these very basic amenities, for the “bargain” rate of $600-$800/night, for a single king room. After flying in on a red-eye from the West Coast, upon check-in, I was told the room I booked would not be ready until later in the day. I had to point out the actual calendar date to the reception associate, and also remind them that I had specifically booked the room a night in advance in order to check-in when I arrived early in the day. Once that was sorted out, I made my way to said designated room, only to find that the room key was inoperable. Though it was cumbersome and time consuming, I was moved to another room. While the hotel did make an effort to accommodate my room request (quiet and away from the club on the 30th floor), the hotel restaurant and morning room service was among the worst I have experienced, anywhere. I was required to rise early and attempted to order in-room delivery of, 1) a pot of tea, and 2) toast. Both items appear on the in-room dining menu. First morning, I was told by the woman running the dining service, “No toast. Only bread.” Day two, I attempted to refill my tea cup with hot water directly FROM the restaurant downstairs, and was informed by the SAME woman, “No hot water.” A short walk down the hall to the coffee station revealed, a) coffee to go, b) hot water, and c) all the necessary accoutrements (cups, milk, sweetener, etc.) This woman was by far the rudest, most hostile “hospitality” worker I have encountered, anywhere. It is worth noting that my requests were made politely and patiently, and I have no pre-existing gripe, disagreement or relationship with any of these people. From there, items that were shipped to the front desk for business purposes were misplaced. I was told they had not arrived (they had, and surfaced after much back and forth and several phone calls.) The worst experience of the stay was when a tragic incident occurred on my floor in the room across the hall. I returned to my room one afternoon, and encountered several NYPD officers stationed outside the door. I asked if there was cause for concern, and was not fully satisfied with the response. Leaving the room an hour later and encountering two new NYPD, I inquired again if there was cause for concern. The officer then explained what had happened, and a short time later I witnessed emergency workers pushing a gurney up the hallway. It is worth noting that at no time during my 4 days as a guest did the hotel notify me that there was an “incident” and I was likely to encounter this scene upon returning to my room. Nor did they offer to move me to a new room…or offer any explanation whatsoe

We stayed here during our trip for five days. This was our first time in New York City and it was exceptional. Since it was the first time visiting, I spent weeks researching hotels looking at neighborhoods, reviews, room types, everything! I’m so happy we decided on The Gotham! From the front desk to the restaurant there were no issues. Everyone was very helpful, attentive, and kind. The pictures are exactly like the rooms. We stayed in the king balcony room on the back side of the building which was really cool and quiet. We also stayed in the queen balcony room because we didn’t do our dates correctly lol and thankfully they had a room open. Looking out on the balcony in the queen room was awesome. We are returning over Christmas and have rebooked the queen balcony room and I can’t wait! This room is noisier but it’s not to the point of not being able to sleep. My husband and I live in the country surrounded by cow fields so if I can sleep with the noise level anyone can!

I read a lot of comments and chose this hotel. I really didn't choose the wrong one. The location is very good, whether it is a long-distance bus or subway, or take the airport bus to the airport, or want to go to the Grand Central Railway Station, very close. . . There is also Times Square. . . At the intersection of 41st Street and Madison Avenue, the door is small, mainly the name on the door is written in a special font, which made us not notice when we first went there. 200 meters away from the New York City Public Library, which is not 200 meters away from Fifth Avenue, it is not necessary. There are three types of rooms in the hotel, which are about 19, 25, and 33 square meters, and 19 is relatively small. I booked 25 for the second night, but the order information sent by Ctrip to the hotel was wrong. The first night I checked in was the 19 room. It was very late to react. The size of the room was wrong. I coordinated with the front desk and Ctrip. Ctrip immediately found the problem and made compensation, and moved to the largest room of 33 the next day. If it is a single person, the room of 19 is enough. For two people, the baggage can't be opened, and it can only be put to the bedside. In addition, in particular, after the store, the hotel charges a fee of 20 US dollars per day. This fee is breakfast, all-day coffee snacks, afternoon tea, which is very worthwhile. Especially afternoon tea, with cheese, fruit, a variety of small snacks, red and white wine and champagne. . . . In addition, this location is on 41st Street, when the 99th Street in Central Park in New York is basically a full 2km. I ran in the morning and ran another 10km in Central Park. I am very happy. Central Park is a must-see for everyone who loves sports. Running, cycling, and dog-walking are all very good. . .
