Another fantastic stay at The Hoxton Holborn. Staff are fantastic, as always. Special mention to Deborah who checked us in. Michele who supplied us with delicious cocktails. Martina, Yassin, Claudiu in the restaurant. Amazing new menu, thanks to the chef James! Looking forward to staying again very soon!

We stayed at L’Oscar for three nights in a junior suite, and enjoyed our stay very much. The staff in particular are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is small but good - we had breakfast there every morning, and one dinner. The only complaint is that the rooms have odd wiring for lighting, so it was impossible to have just one or two lamps by the bed on at night. Also several different red and green lights emanating from both tv’s, and the fire alarm sensor. If you like a dark room for sleep, bring an eye mask. The Holborn tube stop is just steps away, so that’s very convenient for getting around quickly, and Covent Garden is about a 10 minute walk. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to London.

Booked a 2-week long stay at Middle Eight for both business and leisure and was able to experience 2 types of room tiers during my stay. Specifically for the Urban room which was a larger sized room, the room was large (by London standards) and the bed was extremely comfortable. Toilets are small but had all of the great amenities including an excellent rain shower with good water pressure! The hotel property is very new, very beautifully designed and the location of the hotel is perhaps one of it's best traits - you're within a 5 minute brisk walk from 2 underground stations (Holborn & Covent Garden) - there are lots of great dining options in the near vicinity of the hotel however this also means that on weekend nights noise from surrounding pubs can be heard by hotel guests. Aside from this though, my stay was excellent, and I will definitely be rebooking with Middle Eight during my next visit to London!

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. Spotlessly clean rooms, with kettle, tea, coffee and everything you need for a basic breakfast (being Christmas they provided us with sweet Christmas popcorn). Very kind staff, we made friends with Gioia, an Italian employee who works here. Being in Covent Garden, you can get anywhere in a few minutes on foot, and the metro stop is also just a few meters away. We paid relatively little given the days we stayed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

These apartments in Bloomsbury are very close to The British Museum (2 minutes walk) as well as notable landmarks including Covent Garden Market and large garden squares such as Russell Square and Bloomsbury Square. The location is neighboured by many pubs, restaurants, theatres and outstanding shopping opportunities. The building offers studio and one-bedroom apartments, beautifully decorated and appointed. The on-trend exposed brickwork (in some apartments) high spec furnishings and attention to detail in the décor have received many positive reviews from guests.Studios are modest in size and come with basic kitchenettes (please see photos). The one-bedroom apartments offer a kitchen area with a full-sized fridge/freezer, washing machine, hob, oven and microwave. All apartments are air-conditioned, individually furnished and beautifully decorated. Each apartment features free WiFi and free wired Internet, plus a rainfall shower, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, iron/ironing board and a Smart TV with digital channels. Two underground stations are in easy walking distance: Tottenham Court Road (5 mins) and Holborn (9 mins). Both stations offer excellent transport links around the capital. The major train stations of London Paddington, King’s Cross and St Pancras International can be reached in 10-15 minutes via the underground, for easy and accessible onward travel to the regions, Heathrow Airport and European destinations via the Eurostar. We operate several wonderful apartments in this building. BEST HOTEL we’ve ever stayed in! Location is unbeatable and Everyone in the staff was so professional and attentive. Manager Shana Thomas was extremely kind and made our stay superb! After checking several hotels for our first stay in London we noticed most of them were just sooo small and we wanted a roomier place. We booked the NYX at a reasonable price and with a King size bed. The check in was so easy and whatever we needed the staff was there for us. They have a pool, gym and the rooftop bar is amazing. Breakfast there is also great. Location is just a block from metro and everything is close by! We will definitely come back

Hotel location is good, a little distance from the subway, but belongs to the first district of London, the British Museum is a five minute walk, the room is large, the bed is suitable for three people. The disadvantage is that there is no air conditioning. I have learned this before, but it happened to be hot in London these days, and the room on our top floor was similar to a loft. It is said to be remodeled because the floor of the room is obviously inclined and occasionally has a sense of dizziness. After reading the previous comments, there are also people who live in the basement. It is not because Ctrip agents gave such low or high rooms.

Let start with some positives:- Great location, very close to tube station, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and within walking distance of many tourist attractions. The area is very safe with both foot and vehicle traffic, travelling as a solo female I never felt unsafe at any time of the day or early evening. The room was well appointed with all you needed in a well set up mini kitchen for cooking some meals, although there was occasionally a cooking smell in the hallways when other guests were cooking something very strong. The main areas, including a fantastic (app. required) laundry were always clean and tidy. There is a seating area adjacent to reception where you can make yourself a drink and relax. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom mid grade with hot water (more about that later) Now to the negatives:- There were two issues whilst I was staying here, one was no hot water for one weekend and no wifi for another weekend. Whilst these issues do occur I'm sure at other hotels from time to time the communication was poor around these issues, with staff not able to answer when these issues would be resolved. After quite a few to and fro's the reception staff finally found another hotel for me for one night so at least I could have a shower. Before I checked out I took the oppurtunity to sit down with Marco, the front officer manager to provide him with my constructive feedback about my stay and the issues including communication. Marco thanked me for taking the time to speak to him, and hopefully my feedback will assist management in future if issues like this arise again. Although these issues did arise and detracted from my overall happiness with the stay I would be happy to stay here again in future as long as issues identified are dealt with promptly and communication has improved.

The Edison is as good as ever and of such quality. Hotels in London are too expensive, so I booked the cheapest room type. On the downside, there is no view from the window. This hotel has a great feeling, the entrance is very beautiful, but there are many bars around at night, it would be scary to walk on foot. The toiletries are still specially customized by le labo. In the morning, the downstairs smells like coffee, and when you come back at night, it smells like le labo the noir, which is very comfortable. The room is fully equipped, the toilet is fully surrounded by rain, and there is mineral water. The light switch is also very delicate.

Stayed here last night with my son, we were at the stadium for a concert. This place is literally a walk down the hill to the stadium so perfect location. I couldn’t fault it really, it is a pub with rooms above- not a fancy hotel. I feel other reviews are very unfair… We paid 1/4 of the price to other places at Wembley. Our room was spotlessly clean with super comfy beds. would definitely book again!

We had to leave very unexpectedly, but did find the hotel a little run down looking from the outside. We had arrived early and the room was ready, but we could only check in early for an extra charge which we declined, as we were going out anyway so just left our bags in the car. The room was supposed to be an executive room however, it was like any other room we had ever stayed in so don’t know what was executive about it. Tea tray was a bit stingy with 1 packet of biscuits between 2 of us (1 biscuit each). Only 4 milk cartons, but plenty of tea and coffee sachets. The bathroom had nice shower gel and lotion supplied with plenty of towels but, also had blue insulation tape on the radiator and the ceiling above the bath was peeling it all looked a little tired. The room was clean and perfectly comfortable, but definitely lacked that added luxury that I thought we had upgraded to with executive. Maybe that was my own fault not checking exactly what the difference was between normal and executive aside from the price. Sadly, our trip was cut short with an emergency, so we never got to stay overnight or sample the breakfast.

The hotel is near Stop J where the national express bus to the airport stops. It is convenient if you plan to travel in and out of the city. It’s still quite a bit of a walk to the bus stop and train station, not at the door step but manageable. The security is also very tight at the hotel. Staff was very accommodating. I checked in late and checked out early. Everything went smoothly. They also gave me a cake for my birthday which was sweet. Room is generally clean. Carpet could be cleaner. Also, the room is spacious for London’s standard.

I lived in this hotel for the first time in the UK. The experience was very good at the time, the hotel is in a good location and cost-effective, so I thought I would choose to stay here afterwards. I wanted to book a room in advance for the second time this time, but chose a lot of dates without a room. Later only accessible rooms were available. Think about staying alive for two nights. Because one of them happens to be a New Year's Eve, it goes without saying that the price is not cost-effective. The room I gave was facing the street, and I didn't sleep well after a night of noisy. And this time the service attitude was very average. Retaining luggage is also reluctant. The front desk was also lazy. In short, I won't come next time. In the end, a penny is a penny, and a willingness to spend money on Mayfair's Marriott.

Staff were amazing and attentive when issues arose. Booked the king size room which was large and spacious but that’s where the good parts end. - Air Condition did not work (Told reception when we got in at night and was given a fan) - Mini fridge did not work, so gave the food we bought to amazing receptionist - lamp in the corner was not plugged in, had to move the table from the wall to switch it on. - Bathroom wasn’t wiped down properly so you could see the residue of the last guests. Besides the amazing staff who helped and gave good local recommendations for bars and restaurants the quality of the hotel was lacking. Would not be staying again.

The ferry was a great plus in terms of getting around. I think there needs to be an explanation of how the taps work - we were unable to get hot water and then when the maintenance guy came he twiddled them so that we did have. However, later on, we were unable to get hot water again.

The only issues were the missing table as shown in the photos for Family Room and the hotel only use bathroom curtains instead of glass, which was weird aesthetically given how nicely furnished the rest of the room is. Very nice stay at the Bankside hotel though not without some difficulties. We had asked for a quiet room but were placed right next to the lift lobby and opposite the water dispenser, and with hard floors throughout the lift lobby and entrance area of the rooms this meant a LOT of noise coming in the room at all hours. In fairness, the front desk tried to find an alternative but it was not what we were looking for so we opted to stay where we were and made the best of it. Aside from this everything else about the stay was great, a really lovely modern hotel with very friendly and fun staff, great breakfast (though not cheap) and good location on the South Bank. We would definitely stay here again (though ask not to be in this room location). Special mention to breakfast staff who helped get extra fruit for our toddler and concierge who gave him Christmas gifts from the tree... lovely touches.

Everything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

Good location, very close to Imperial College, in the middle of Gloucester Road and South Kensington subway station, it is more convenient to transfer to anywhere. The hotel faces the street and is more or less noisy at night. It is also a residential renovation. Although the facilities are not old (in the case of Britain), the house is a bit crowded. The self-service ibis is quite good value for money and the Crowne Plaza next to it doesn't feel much better than it.

Double check when booking about breakfast being included in your rate and be aware it is a simple boxed 'continental' breakfast; Parking, though advertised is not free - from £10 per night, again check when booking and spaces are limited. Receptionist very helpful, room was ready when we arrived at 11am, which was great, it was very clean with a good supply of coffee and tea plus biscuits all good quality. Slight down side was a vey small shower room and toilet, the shower itself was very weak. The room was cleaned to a high standard every day. I cannot recommend this pub/hotel highly enough. Location was perfect for Olympia (my reason for travel was attending a 2 day even there), the team were all helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome, including offering to hold my luggage and help me up to my room (as no lift). The room (a 2nd floor twin facing Olympia) was also a very good size, excellently equipped (lovely drinks, comfy chair, spacious desk) and amazingly soundproof from both the road and train right outside, and the pub downstairs. The breakfast was possibly the best English breakfast I've ever had, and the coffee just superb. On top of that the stay was excellent value for the area, and I felt safe and looked after as a lone female traveller. Would look for a reason to come and enjoy this place again, and ideally have time to try to food too next time if the breakfast is anything to go by!

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Room is tiny and windowless. While not an issue in itself (I knew this when booking) the room is barely larger than the bed. I doubt that two adults could stand simultaneously in the floor space of the room. Shower was great (powerful and hot) but the bathroom stunk of drains. It also felt like there was no extraction or clean air in the bathroom. There was air conditioning in the room but it didn’t work. Just seemed to circulate the hot air around not cool it. The room was therefore uncomfortably hot all night and I hardly slept. Pillows as thin as paper and even with both of them (only two in total on the bed) I needed more. Final insult was wall light switch (an over-complicated digital thing) stuck on so had to get someone in the middle of the night to work out how to turn the lights off. In summary - good location, nice shower, far too small, smelly, hot, sleepless. Won’t stay again and advise you not to either. No idea who placed such positive reviews. Feel duped!

Absolutely thrilled with my experience at the Moxy London Heathrow airport hotel! The amenities provided were nothing short of fantastic – from the well-appointed rooms to the thoughtful extras, they truly went above and beyond. The vibrant and lively atmosphere, set by the great music throughout the hotel, added a unique and enjoyable touch to my stay. However, what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional staff. Their friendliness and attentiveness made me feel genuinely welcomed. They were not only helpful but also seemed genuinely passionate about ensuring guests have a memorable stay. Kudos to the team for creating a positive and engaging environment. Overall, my time at Moxy London Heathrow was nothing short of delightful. If you're looking for a hotel that combines great amenities, fantastic music, and a staff that goes the extra mile, this is the place to be! 🌟

I stay with the IHG group every week and one hotel stay rolls into another. However tonight's stay deserves a positive review thanks to young man on reception called Joshua. I arrived at the hotel extremely early, just after 14:00 and understandly my room was not yet ready. Joshua gave me a drinks voucher and set me up in the downstairs bar / restaurant. It's comfy and quiet down there and I was able to get on with some work. Once my room was ready I discovered that I had been upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. Then later in the evening Joshua was kind enough to bring me up a fan along with a key that allowed him to open the windows. So often you're just another number, but not tonight. Joshua was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and polite. I will use this hotel as often as possible and recommend it to others.

The hotel is about 15 mins walk from High Street Kensington tube station. There is also a bus stop just 2 mins from the hotel that takes you to Piccadilly Circus and other parts of the city. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants along near the hotel and Holland Park is also just a doorstep away. Overall, the hotel itself is a bit old but the room is very clean and spacious. The bed and the pillows are perhaps too soft for my liking but not uncomfortable in means. The bathroom is big and they do provide you with shower wash and body lotion. However, I was not sure how to adjust the temperature of the AC and the room was a bit cold. Overall, this is more a business hotel which provides all the basic amenities fairly well. If you are travelling with small children then there could be better opinions in town.

Location is wonderful. You can see walk to almost everything you want. The breakfast was very well stocked and quite good. There are two bars with two different vibes but both had good drinks (try the 1920’s). The deluxe queen room was plenty spacious and had everything you need. It’s a renovated old building- which you can tell but it also adds to the charm.
