We visited this hotel with 2 couples for 1 night on our way to Paris. We loved how close it is to the centre and that within a few hundred meters we found lots of restaurants and bars. The rooms are small but very clean, the soaps are organic and very nice, the hotel staff is very friendly and the breakfast was basic but good. We especially enjoyed the filter coffee, which is really good! Note that there is no elevator, so if stairs are problematic for you this might not be the best option, but for us it was no problem at all. The owner was also very kind in helping us bring our suitcases upstairs. The only small disappointment was that I had booked via booking a superior and a standard double room, planning to give my parents some extra luxery, and both rooms were exactly the same! I don't know if this is a mistake from booking or the hotel, but we paid some extra for the superior room which, upon arrival, didn't seem to exist. All in all we enjoyed our stay and will definitely remember this hotel in case we come by Orleans in the future.

We chose this hotel from the decent reviews and convenience of its location close to the railway station. We enjoyed our 1-night stay. The receptionists were charming and helpful. The room was large, bright and airy with a comfortable bed and all the necessary facilities and above all it was clean. It was quirky in that although refurbished it has retained much of its older charm, including an old-fashioned lift and luggage trolley, and decor that looks as if it belongs in how the film sets show bordellos including bright red bedroom doors! It is just a short walk into the centre of the city, although as commented by others there is little in the way of restaurant choice in the immediate vicinity. The receptionists recommended walking down to the main square where there is a choice of restaurants.

We came from America to see our nephew play professional basketball in Orléans. We chose this hotel because is was close to the train station and because it was well rated. It is close to the city center and we loved strolling around the old part of town. They took great care of us during our stay. The room was great. One bonus was blackout blinds, awesome for a day nap because of the time change. The front desk gave excellent choices of restaurants in the area. Breakfast is included. They made eggs to our desired specification and squeezed fresh orange juice for us. The breakfast had many choices of food to eat. Don’t let the small size of the hotel scare you it was a wonderful stay with lots of personal touches, great service and wonderful location! We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed for a stop over on the way to Portugal. Rooms are quite old and the bathroom very small but totally ok for 1 night. Location is good as you are in the City and can directly walk into old town and to the Loire. We used the parking close by that has a corporation with the hotel where you pay then 12, 50€ instead of 30€ per night, totally ok. The man welcoming us at the reception was friendly and gave us good tips. Also he spoke English fluently.

Arrived at this lovely little hotel after a long drive from the UK en route to The Dordogne. We had a lovely welcome from Stephanie. She showed us to our room which was absolutely spotlessly clean and decorated to high standards. Bed was so comfortable and had very high quality and clean linen. Good facilities including free tea and coffee and lovely touches like water and juice placed on the bedside tables and little chocolates by our pillows. Breakfast was fabulous with homemade jams and yoghurts and freshly squeezed orange juice. Stephanie was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Entrance was a little hard to find as behind metal gates but once inside lead to a pretty patio courtyard . Hotel was just a short walk to restaurants , bars and shops in Orléans.

We only spent one night at Fasthotel, but it was a good experience. If you have a rental car there is no issue as it’s only a max ten minutes drive outside the city, parking outside the main building. They offer breakfast for an extra cost which we didn’t take. The rooms are not luxury but also not uninspiring. The bathrooms are less appealing than the actual rooms, reminds me of a bathroom you would see on a cruise ship (not the luxury ones..). The hotel is close to a main road and I feared the traffic would disturb as at night, but it was quiet. All in all this is a hotel for sleeping at a reasonable cost, not enjoying conveniences and luxuries. That said, Fasthotel does enough to make the experience a good memory and I would recommend it to other travellers who comes with a car.

After a horrendous experience somewhere else the night before it was such a relief to arrive here. From the moment we stepped into the reception we knew we'd be happy. Fast, easy check in with multi lingual staff. The rooms were beautifully decorated with a massive bed, TV, sound system. There was a safe, a minibar, dressing gowns and a huge bathroom with a spa bath and beautiful freebies. We had the best night's sleep of the entire week of our roadtrip and feel so grateful to have found this place. After asking about restaurants the receptionist very kindly wrote 4 local good restaurants on a map for us as we stayed on a Monday when most are shut. We went for a lovely walk and found the perfect restaurant from what she'd recommended. Breakfast was lovely buffet style but could have drunk much more of their coffee! Absolutely nothing to complain about here. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is located just outside the city centre which can be easily reached on foot. The staff members we encountered were polite, friendly and helpful. The lobby is inviting, but unfortunately the guest rooms are much less appealing. Our room was clean but the decor is dated and the furniture looks like it hasn't been changed during the last 15 years. Refusing to modernise rooms also has practival implications such as missing power outlets close to the nightstands. The bathroom's ventilation system was too weak, a mirror in the door should have been replaced. We had a family room with two narrow twin beds, although there would have been enough space for at least one comfortable queen size bed. The soundproofing could have been a tad better. The pool is not heated. The breakfast buffet was a festival of mediocrity. The chopped fruits in a bowl were drowing in sugary liquid, the pancakes and waffles were offered at ambient temperature and the selection of bread was limited. I did not notice any special regional or artisinal products. For one night during the last weekend of August we (2 adults, one child) paid about 170 €, including breakfast. Parking was extra at a reasonable cost of 6.50 €. While the hotel might formally fulfill all criteria for four stars, it certainly does not feel like it. It would be unreasonable to expect me to stay at this establishment again in the near future. We stayed at a Mercure in Reims a week before which featured much better rooms and offered significantly better breakfast, all at a much lower price. There was also free on-site parking at the Mercure Reims.

We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of this hotel, it should be higher rated. The rooms were tastefully decorated and our room overlooking an inner courtyard were surprisingly quiet at night, which is was wonder for a place in the middle of the city. A bit of a problem if you are travelling by car is to find a place to park to unload, the hotel provides a very cheap ticket in the nearby public parking house.

Beautifully remodeled old building with modern details and equipment - in walking distance to the city center. Nicely decorated room with a spacious, modern, and bright bathroom. Wonderful little garden in the back of the house; truly a little oasis to unwind and relax. Delicious breakfast with homemade breads, jam, charcuterie, granola and eggs - made of high quality & regional ingredients. We also had dinner at Albert’s and it was very delicious as well! Albert is a great host: friendly, welcoming and very passionate about everything he offers in his B&B - and very professional and unobstrusive at the same time. We would definitely go back next time we are in Orleans!

Our room was hot and noisy; no air-con and impossible to block the traffic noise by closing the window because of the heat; the winter duvet (in mid-June) didn't help matters. Other than that, the room is basic but fine. It's convenient to have a kitchenette with a mini-fridge, kettle and a microwave. Cleanliness level was satisfactory. The shower, like the room, is basic but serviceable. Overall an OK overnight stay, nothing more.
