      No frills, nothing fancy, just a decent, honest hotel that is a great place to put your head down for a couple of nights. Stayed here for 2 nights pre/post the Death Ride in Markleeville...a few other cyclists here too. Didn't really use any of the facilities, but had b'fats and evening meals in the hotel and both were good value, with attentive staff and a good selection to choose from. If I ever came back to do the ride again, I'd stay here.

      This south of market motel was the best I can find on short notice. It’s within walking distance to the shopping area near market street, Merton and SFMOMA. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was the cleaning lady knocked only once and proceed to open the door while I was sleeping in the room. It did make me feel a little unsafe staying there. Not the best place to stay in SF but the price and location makes it an option for people attending conferences nearby.

      The location is good. There are two supermarkets in the center of Los Angeles. You can buy ingredients to cook in the kitchen. The hostel provides cups, Yantai and microwave ovens. The 6-person room is a bit crowded. There is a refrigerator in the room. There are two bathrooms on each floor. The shower water is also quite hot. The downside is that the police car sometimes makes loud noises at night, and the surrounding homeless people talk loudly, which can easily affect poor sleep. People, if they only live for a short time, it's okay.

      I was in town during a major conference and all the typical business hotels were either full or exorbitantly priced. SOMA Park Inn was an excellent alternative. The style is what used to be called a motor hotel, which is a multi-story version of the classic park-at-your-door motels that used to be ubiquitous. The room was very nice: comfortable bed, good linens, plenty of hot water, and clean. It had in addition to the usual coffee maker a small fridge and microwave. The WiFi worked fine. The location is reasonably convenient: right on the Mission MUNI bus route and a quick walk to the Civic Center station on Market. There’s a nice coffee shop across the street and a good Ethiopian cafe a couple doors down the street. As others have noted, the area is a little sketchy. But I never felt unsafe or concerned about security. If you want a full service hotel with a bar, restaurant, business center, room service, pool, and fancy lobby, this is not your place. If you need a comfortable room not far from the business district on a budget, this is a good choice.

      Booked up here with my partner very short notice after our air b n b fell through. No where else in San Fran you can get this reasonable. Shared bathrooms which are adequate. The beds are about the only thing that gets cleaned in the room however. Years worth of dust has collected and never been cleaned. If you need somewhere cheap to suffice for a few nights and San Fran this is more than doable. Reception guy is really nice too!

      Our family of four, including two teens, just stayed at Seaside Inn for a couple of nights and we were very happy with our stay. The room overall was comfortable. It isn't a huge room, but was enough space for the four of us for relaxing/getting ready etc. The sheets and blankets were soft, which made for cozy sleeping. We could hear a bit of road noise at times, which is understandable in a city, but it was fairly muffled and not an issue at all for sleeping. The shower was hot and had good pressure. The location felt safe. We walked at night the couple of blocks to Union Street for dinner and then again early morning for coffee and didn't have any concerns. The location was close enough to walk to Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square, Union Square and China Town etc, again feeling safe. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. (Our initial flight to San Franciso had been delayed and then cancelled and we couldn't get another flight for two days. They had availability and allowed us to change our reservation without penalty.) We felt the price for the quality we received was very good and definitely would recommend Seaside Inn.

      Please be aware that this hotel is not in the best part of town and parking will be first come only. The rooms are smaller than what I expected but we spent little time there. Due to covid the front desk had no city maps so research before you come. It could be considered within walking distance to Fisherman's Warf but we had limited time so paid for parking in a garage for 5/hour. The hilight of our trip was the Cable cars that opened while we were there at no cost!

San Francisco's famous Dangdang Departure Station is next door, and you can directly go to Dangdang City Center. In addition, Uber is expected to get it within 10-15 yuan for the ordinary car of the Golden Gate Bridge. All in all a hotel worth recommending. If you use the hotel's parking service, it is expected to cost about $ 100 per day, which is a bit painful. Expensive parking in San Francisco is obvious to all.

      I have been twice to this fantastic hostel, I really love the design. The first time I booked for a 6 beds room with a private bathroom and it was really big, the room was small for 6 people, especially in covid time, it had a small kitchenette. the beds were comfortable but to close each other, I refuse to have the middle down and I change it with first on top. Nice staying. The second time I choose 4 beds with a shared bathroom and I had been alone 3 nights on 4 fortunately because the room again was so small for 4 people, there was a sink and 2 tables with chairs, not too bad! both of the rooms were clean and tidy, nice smell and black carpet as I love! look like everybody was quiet and I had a nice stay, in the second room bed number 4 a big one was a bit uncomfortable and noisy when I moved but nothing more. Nice people at the reception all the time, helpful and policies, fresh fruit every day, coffee and tea, microwave and tap water sink for everybody. The bathrooms shared outside the room was mostly clean but I found it quite dirty once, isn t the property fault if someone is unrespectful. To finish the position, at first, I noticed it was a perfect position to reach everything, but the second time I was annoyed by the stench of piss outside.

There is only one room above you and that will give you the best sleep. Both the happy hour and breakfast are at the hotel next door. The wine hour is great.       I stayed here during a conference where the price was raised to $240/night. If the price had been quite a bit lower as it might normally be, I probably wouldn't complain much. The location is hard to beat in terms of proximity to Union Square and the Moscone Center, and the front desk staff was friendly. Other reviews have noted that the rooms are dated--and I found that to be true as well. But, my room was clean. The wifi worked, and the rooms were insulated from noise from adjoining rooms. However, there was hardly any noise isolation from the outside. I was on the 6th floor facing Geary Street, and I could hear just about everything going on well into the evening. The heat in my room was also not working until my last night there--and that combined with very thin covers left me pretty cold (though the bed itself was comfortable). When the heat did work, it made a strange noise reminiscent of a dying cat, so I ended up turning it off anyway. One tip for taller or larger travelers: I am 5' 2'', and the shower head was only 2 inches above my head. So if you're much taller than me, you'll be bending down to rinse your hair. You'll also find the bathroom overall to be quite small.

      For the prices that are handled in SFO, it was a success, in the Nob Hill neighborhood, very clean and safe, with very good facilities, and very friendly staff. With the hotel fees (compulsory, around €35-40) you can have coffee in the mornings, it's itchy but it's something. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone.

While the room is small, it is sufficient , after all, what i need is a heater and hot water bath in the winter. The room has a ensuite bathroom with a bathtub. The only feedback I have is on the small basin in the bathroom and the small work desk. The window is double-glazed, so the room is quite insulated from the outside noise. I am not sure about the condition in the summer - as there is no air-con, just only a ceiling fan. Overall, this hotel has satisfied my needs.

      The property is conveniently located in Union Square area. The airport is accessible through metro from Union Square station although one had to drag the luggage uphill making it challenging task. In the evening, the area appears deserted as SFO closes early on weekdays. Union Square shopping area and Restraunts are within walking distance. Weekends are lively. We had stayed in a suite with 2 beds and a sofa bed. The room was spotless. Extra blankets were promptly provided. The ante room in the suite also had a flat screen TV. The bathroom had a shower and was cleaned daily. The property is well maintained and very clean. Breakfast is provided on 2nd floor. It is quite basic with tea/coffee, yogurt, cereal, fruits and some danish/ cinnamon rolls. There is a microwave in the breakfast room Front desk is manned 24 hours and the staff is very responsive.
