Da evitare, solo se si soggiorna una notte può andare, appena riaprono gli altri alberghi è meglio optare su altri.

I really enjoy hotels that are small and independently owned, versus big corporate chains. This hotel really delivered in terms of personalized service and I can recommend it very highly. This is not a fancy hotel. So keep expectations realistic for the 3 to 4 star level, and the furniture in the rooms is old and dull. So I wasn't immediately thrilled when be first arrived. But there are many things that made up for these weaknesses and I would clearly stay here again if I returned to Novara. First, the rooms are really quite a decent size by European standards, and I found the bed and linens exceptionally comfortable. Second, the location was very convenient and just a short walk from the train station and to the downtown area. Third, the complementary breakfast served was just lovely- with homemade breads and cakes that were simply delicious (in addition to cheeses, fruits, etc. . .but I especially appreciated the home baked items). What impressed me most was the warm and personalized service. We had reserved a triple room and when we arrived the proprietor told us that the television in our room wasn't working well, and offered us a double room plus a separate single room for our teenager, just across the hall. That worked out well for us and it was a generous switch that we hadn't even asked for. We had an early departure and had to get to the Milan airport. The hotel owner not only arranged our transportation, but offered to come in early to open the breakfast before its scheduled opening so that we could have a meal before we left. We really appreciated that. The day of our departure, we have a very long flight delay, and the hotel owner rearranged all of our travel for us. Check out was easy with everything as promised and no additional fees or charges appearing on the bill. We appreciated the complimentary bottles of water that were replenished in the room daily. Overall, a warm and welcoming stay with charming service from kind staff. Reasonable prices and a good location. One note: From google maps, it looks like this hotel is close to the train station. We had booked it planning to walk with our luggage from the train to the hotel. But be aware that the entrance and exit from the train station is not that close to the hotel- it is a 15 minute walk or so- completely manageable unless one has a lot of heavy luggage.

When we came it looked like any of hotels at the outskirts of town. We didn't pay much so we didn't expect much. But once we entered the hotel it was a pleasant surprise. Hotel has a big reception (I love it) furnished with all kind wall watches. Friendly staff told us everything we need to know for one day in Novara. The city itself was a discovery too. Hotel is 25 minutes walk to the city center which has a full Italian charm. Good to mention that parking is free of charge in front of the hotel.

Overview: They only have 4 bedrooms for now but they are fantastic. Modern, big and very comfy - especially the bed!! It is tucked away down a farm lane so you will need a car to get there but it is so peaceful so worth the drive. The views are breathe taking. Roberto and his family are very accommodating and always there when you need something. Bedroom: We have room 1 and this was a very very spacious room. An European double bed so you will have plenty of room for 2 of you and the length was perfect as my husband is over 6ft 6. Lovely barn conversion high ceilings, tea/coffee making facilities, work table, 2 very comfy chairs and table in sitting area, 1 wardrobe, a hat stand and a wooden bench to put your suitcase on. Bathroom: Very big. Full walk in shower, a b-day and even a hat stand in the bathroom to help you hang up towels - simple but effective idea. Breakfast room: Plenty of room for everyone and a help yourself Italian breakfast. Cold cuts, home made bread, jams, pastries, cereal, fruit salad (fresh), yogurts etc...They make you a fresh coffee when ever you wanted one. Very good breakfast!! There is enough parking for 4 cars and the surrounding area outside the reception desk has a patio with seating to enjoy your breakfast/coffee outside. I will defiantly be coming back to this beautiful place. Thank you - even though it was a very short stay (2 nights) it was a great find!

The location is convenient due to its proximity to the airport, however we found that the town itself was worth the visit. We were close to numerous cafes and restaurants, as well as buses to adjacent towns and a direct train to Milan. The B&B was well-maintained by its owner, who readily offered advice and impeccable service. We stayed here for four nights to rest during our roadtrip. The B&B suited our needs perfectly. The room was simple, but was good value for money in consideration of the price we paid. We had a private bathroom, wardrobe, fan, WI-FI and a TV. We were also able to borrow bikes, as a bonus. The owner speaks fluent Italian and has a strong grasp of English. We were able to communicate with him without any problems.

We didn't have high expectations when we pulled in here after having reserved on Expedia. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! Check-in was quick and easy, and we were prepaid. Getting a lot of luggage upstairs was easy. They will tell you it's possible to drive around to the back and load your luggage right into the elevator. Too easy. The room was not fancy, but we didn't need fancy. It was spotlessly clean, with new clean towels, plenty of hot water, and a comfortable bed. Perfect for our night before a very early departure from Malpensa. Couple of things.... Get gas early. In the evening, we, as well as about 10 other people, were unable to make the pumps at the gas station across the street work. Driving around town, we found other stations, but not one would work at night, though they appeared to be setup for off-hours use. Same again early in the morning. No place to get gas at 7am. NOWHERE from here to the airport, so had to deliver the car as-is and pay the consequences. Perhaps a later departure would have made refueling easier, but that was not the case for us. The hotel does not list hours for the restaurant. Don't count on it being open. There are lots of other places you can go, and there is a Coop supermarket practically right next store. Check their hours. Breakfast was included, but we knew we'd be up and out early, probably too early. We were, indeed quite early, but breakfast was already set, and they let us sit down and eat. It's self-service, except that they will make you coffee drinks. Hot food, too! Wonderful. Overall this was a perfect hotel for the purpose. No luxury here, just perfection in the basics. One other thing: we paid Expedia around $51, which was cheap. When we checked out we were handed a receipt for 39 euros. Maybe better to book directly with the hotel.
