We stayed here last weekend. I can't say enough about our experience. The hotel was extremely clean, as was our room. Every member of the staff was kind and attentive. I'd like to specifically mention how courteous, wonderful and accommodating Lanita was. She is a ray of sunshine and went above and beyond for us and every other person she encountered. It was great to walk everywhere and leave the car parked while we were there. The location is perfect and the hotel is a great value. We will be back!!

The people here are rude. The lady at the desk when we checked in told us breakfast ended at 10 am on weekdays, yet when we came down the next morning at 9 am they had already had the entire breakfast section cleaned up and gave my husband and I nasty looks and eye rolls when we mentioned we thought it was open later. The rooms were nice, there were some questionable things on a wall and door here and there that housekeeping missed, I just hope they remembered to change the sheets before we laid down. The location was beautiful. We drove down to Falls Park on the Reedy River before we realized we could have just walked! We took the car back afterwards and just walked to dinner, which was not the greatest but that's another review. The parking is mostly valet, unless you can find yourself a close enough spot somewhere else. We took the valet, and it seemed as though the price of the valet was already included in the price I paid to Trip.com! The gentlemen we so sweet, the only problem was one of them seemed to be sweating a LOT. We were afraid the car was going to smell from his sweat soaking into our seats! LOL. The lady at the desk when we checked out was the worst, she rolled her eyes and gave me attitude when I asked about the second charge on my bank account. She told me that it was an authorization charge, but guess what honey? It went through and I have been double charged for this room. I'm going to tell you right now it does not deserve that much money. A week after my trip, when the charge finally went completely through, I called the hotel and explained my situation and asked for a refund. She told me there must have been something wrong with the website I paid to and refused to look any further into it for me. So I called Trip.com and spoke to Yolanda. She heard what I was saying, told me she was going to call the hotel and get it straightened out, and when she came back she had the name of the person she spoke to at the hotel (Maria), told me Maria sees now how it was a mistake to charge me and is promising a full refund within a few days. Yolanda went above and beyond to make sure I got my refund. She could have just told me to call the hotel again and explain it better, but she took it into her own hands and got me what I wanted. The people at this hotel are awful, but the location is convenient and beautiful. If you are willing to deal with stupid people for the length of your stay, just keep in mind you might be like me and have to deal with them even a week after.

Nice hotel and location is perfect to walk down Main St. Only a few feet away from 50 restaurants! Only complaint was the bathroom was not as clean as we would have liked. I expect empty frsh trash can liners, not half full trashcan in the bathroom with tissues and personal items.

I was pleasantly surprised, especially after having read not so positive previous reviews. We had an end room-which was enormous and clean! Perfect space for two large dogs. We visited the dog run, small, but effective. The bar and common area were welcoming and fun! Unfortunately the lack of basic customer service was severely lacking, especially at check in. The young ladies seemed annoyed that we had dogs, despite this being a dog friendly hotel with rave reviews about all the things they provide for your pets. I asked for dogs beds, they never came. We asked for the doggy welcome bag-they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. I will say the bartender was attentive and as well as a gentlemen we encountered in the hall. It was a short stay, and we enjoyed it for the time we had. The location is great with restaurants very close by.

We stayed here over the July 4th weekend. The hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to most downtown Greenville attractions. It is also co-located with a Residence Inn and was very busy, though the bustle generally didn't affect the service. When we arrived (after the scheduled check-in time of 4pm) our room wasn't ready, but the front desk (a Mr. Randolph) handled the delay professionally and refunded our parking due to the inconvenience. Once we checked in, the room was huge and very well appointed. The only downside to the stay involved the evening valet parking attendant who took 20-30 minutes to get our car despite there only being 2-3 retrieving cars and no guests checking in at the time. (In contrast the morning valet attendant was very quick, less than 5 minutes both times.) Although we didn't say anything, we heard from other guests that they had complained to the hotel management about the valet, and evidently the criticism had come back to him since he was surly when he brought our car and even surlier when we returned it late that evening. Apparently, he also decided to exact some petty revenge (or was absurdly careless) against us (and maybe against other guests who had complained) because the next morning, our bottle of hand sanitizer had mysteriously spilled all over the door console despite having the cap screwed on tightly the night before. Because the valet attendants are contractors rather than employees, there is little the hotel can do about them, but future guests should be forewarned. Otherwise, the hotel itself is great, and we will make this our go-to hotel for future trips to Greenville.

We have stayed at this hotel several times, the location, cleanliness, ease of walking to nearby restaurants and park. Rooms are large, have refrigerator, very clean, nice view. Walter at check in made us feel very welcome. Walter is professional, knowledgeable and efficient and friendly. He makes you feel very welcome. Breakfast is very good, best we have ever had at a Hyatt. Did not get the woman’s name that did breakfast bar on 2/4, 2/5…but she was friendly and kept area clean, everything was fresh and restocked…very attentive to guests. The only complaint we had…not a big deal but all the ladies at front desk on 2/3 and 2/4… might want to smile or acknowledge guests….maybe management could have Walter and dining area staff train them on customer care. Another great weekend at Hyatt Place…thank you!

Pulled into the hotel about 6:00 PM. They have valet parking but just next to the hotel's front door is a entrance to the city lot, it is actually under the hotel and is only $7.00 per day. We are Hilton Honor members and booked on their site so check in was a one minute process. Our room was large and clean. Furnishings were up to date and not worn. Bathroom was the same, very clean with good water pressure in the shower. Our room faced the front overlooking the carillon, a tower of bells that play a different melody every hour from 9:00Am to 9:00 PM. Breakfast was complimentary. Waffles, eggs bacon, cereals...standard fare. It was good, and the staff kept everything stocked and clean. Speaking of the staff, everyone we encountered was very nice and accommodating. Really there is nothing negative to report on this property. To top it off it's location was perfect! Just outside the front entrance there were steps next to a waterfall, leading you down to the river walk. And it was a block away from main street and all it's shops and restaurants. And it's price was better than many of the other hotels in the same area. Definitely would stay again!!

Had the pleasure of staying at the hotel early May. From the beginning being picked up at the Airport by Monty could tell this was a very nice place He is so friendly and full of information with a smile that goes on forever. ! We were checked in by Marion Brayboy who was available to us for our many questions during the day- always smiling and tolerant 😀. This is a nice older hotel that has conference rooms available. It also has a restaurant where the food was delicious. Marie made the dinner even better. So pleasant and accommodating to our every whim. Also there is a bar attached that has televisions so you don’t have to miss a game. Louis was also great to work with. The beds were very comfortable and for the first time in a long time the hotel pillows were great. If you’re ever headed that way, this is the place to stay.

Nice, new-ish hotel about two blocks from the Falls at Reedy Creek trail and directly across the street of the minor league baseball stadium. About five blocks from the main shopping district downtown; an easy stroll. We had a top floor room (8th floor) and was pretty quite overall. You can still hear traffic noise even that high up. The hotel was very clean and well managed. I liked the onsite parking garage included with the room. Don't know if I'll ever get used to paying $300 or so a night for any hotel, but it is what it is. And at least it has a kitchenette. Breakfast was much improved from the time I was there during COVID, which was nothing more than a granola bar and water. I would definitely stay again, even with the price.

Took my wife for a bike ride vacation to Swamp Rabbit Trail. Hotel is right next to trail. Immaculate grounds, spotless clean inside and well maintained. Mama T made sure our breakfast exceeded expectations (it did) and Mary Ann at front desk was kind to tell us all about where to go in Greenville. Had a minor maintenance issue that was resolved immediately. These folks obviously like where they work and made our stay feel like being at home. Southern hospitality at its finest, the gratitude expressed for staying here was evident and genuine. Looking forward to a return very soon. Many thanks from a Hilton Diamond member.

We had an outstanding stay at this hotel. We needed their handicapped room with the roll in shower. Yes, the room we had was at the end of a long hallway on the second floor...Yes they had an elevator. They also have a handicapped room on the first floor but we were checking in early and the first floor room was not ready but the second floor room was....We took it and it was a very nice room. Hotel had a minimal issues with TV service but it was resolved quickly and was not an issue. We very much appreciated the early check in. The room met our needs easily and was very pleasant. Everything worked and breakfast was very good. This hotel will likely be our choice for future stays in Greenville as we are very likely to return and is convenient but also in a quiet location; just hope their handicapped room will be available for our next visit

Perfect location and convenient to many spots from fun to food for date stays or family. My only negative would be the fact certain rooms are literally pool rooms and I witnessed two different moments where only selected parents were rudely addressed about ALL the children (even ones not with them) being loud in the pool due to complaints and was verbally informed that it was a privilege for them to be at the pool until closing which is at 11pm! Other than that being addressed incorrectly I’ll say it’s a great spot, just don’t take your kids to the pool because if they get too loud the pool will close early for “maintenance” bs!

I originally booked a nearby budget hotel/motel that turned out to be a complete disaster. For only a few more dollars per night, I moved to the Best Western Plus Greenville, but it felt like I had discovered the Ritz-Carlton Greenville! I don't know when this hotel was built, but it certainly looked almost brand new. It was clean and beautifully decorated. And the walk-in shower -- well, I could've spent a couple of hours in there! I'm on my 1st cross-country vacation...1800 miles from home. I book a hotel through Hotwires Hot Rate deals. Made the reservation 24 hours prior to arrival. When I checked in with my email confirmation and proof of stay already pulled from my bank account, I was informed they had overbooked and my reservation was cancelled. I immediately called Hotwire. They put me on hold while they contacted the hotel. This call did take place as I returned to the hotel lobby to listen in and confirm it did! Hotwire let them know that I had confirmation the day before! Abe was back on the line with me within 3 minutes. He found me a similar hotel with the same amenities within a mile and a half. The price was appropriately $65 more including taxes. I was not billed a cent more than what I had already paid! Hotwire absorbed these costs. The hotel we were directed to was MUCH nicer. Abe was very professional, helpful, and empathetic to our plight. We couldn't have expected anything more than what Abe did. The room is wonderful! Thanks Abe!

Wow! What a great experience we had here! We have family that lives nearby, so we have tried out almost all of the local hotels. No more searching around- this is it from now on! New, clean, friendly, modern, very very comfy beds, spacious rooms! Breakfast was a bit lacking for me, but they had a pancake maker so my kids were over the moon! I highly recommend this hotel- and even better, don’t have to drive into Greenville to stay there!

She told me that it was an authorization charge, but guess what honey? It went through and I have been double charged for this room. I'm going to tell you right now it does not deserve that much money. A week after my trip, when the charge finally went completely through, I called the hotel and explained my situation and asked for a refund. She told me there must have been something wrong with the website I paid to and refused to look any further into it for me. So I called Trip.com and spoke to Yolanda. She heard what I was saying, told me she was going to call the hotel and get it straightened out, and when she came back she had the name of the person she spoke to at the hotel (Maria), told me Maria sees now how it was a mistake to charge me and is promising a full refund within a few days. Yolanda went above and beyond to make sure I got my refund. She could have just told me to call the hotel again and explain it better, but she took it into her own hands and got me what I wanted. The people at this hotel are awful, but the location is convenient and beautiful. If you are willing to deal with stupid people for the length of your stay, just keep in mind you might be like me and have to deal with them even a week after.

Nice hotel and location is perfect to walk down Main St. Only a few feet away from 50 restaurants! Only complaint was the bathroom was not as clean as we would have liked. I expect empty frsh trash can liners, not half full trashcan in the bathroom with tissues and personal items.

This hotel is really nice. There's a huge restaurant called Twin Peaks maybe 100 feet from this hotel so you don't have to go far for food. The front desk was nice. I had to wait for my room to be ready but that wasn't so bad. I booked a king bed room. The room was very spacious. It was very clean and had great lighting. The bed was extremely comfortable and clean. The hotel provides shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in the room just in case you forget yours. There's a nice sized TV in the room and decent channels. There's comfortable seating in the room as well. It was extremely quiet and I loved that.. Overall I like my stay.

I went back to check my receipt to make sure this was the same HIE after reading the negative reviews. I'm not sure what's going on, but I thought this was a good option. The property is near the 85 exit but not right at the exit so it's in a quieter area. I didn't notice any traffic noise but we may have bene on the side that doesn't face the highway. Our room was clean and updated. It was actually pretty good for a HIE brand hotel. The A/C worked well and there is ample easy parking. We took the shuttle to the airport - which is actually an Uber (hotel pays) but that may have been because we left really early. You can pay a small fee and leave your car there. Overall, I thought this was a good option and I would return.

It is very close to Highway 85 and less than one kilometer from the expressway. There are many Western-style fast food restaurants nearby, such as McDonald's, Burger King, and Wendy's. The room was ok, the mattress was messy and it was very comfortable to sleep.

Pulled into the hotel about 6:00 PM. They have valet parking but just next to the hotel's front door is a entrance to the city lot, it is actually under the hotel and is only $7.00 per day. We are Hilton Honor members and booked on their site so check in was a one minute process. Our room was large and clean. Furnishings were up to date and not worn. Bathroom was the same, very clean with good water pressure in the shower. Our room faced the front overlooking the carillon, a tower of bells that play a different melody every hour from 9:00Am to 9:00 PM. Breakfast was complimentary. Waffles, eggs bacon, cereals...standard fare. It was good, and the staff kept everything stocked and clean. Speaking of the staff, everyone we encountered was very nice and accommodating. Really there is nothing negative to report on this property. To top it off it's location was perfect! Just outside the front entrance there were steps next to a waterfall, leading you down to the river walk. And it was a block away from main street and all it's shops and restaurants. And it's price was better than many of the other hotels in the same area. Definitely would stay again!!

We stayed here last weekend. I can't say enough about our experience. The hotel was extremely clean, as was our room. Every member of the staff was kind and attentive. I'd like to specifically mention how courteous, wonderful and accommodating Lanita was. She is a ray of sunshine and went above and beyond for us and every other person she encountered. It was great to walk everywhere and leave the car parked while we were there. The location is perfect and the hotel is a great value. We will be back!!

I was pleasantly surprised, especially after having read not so positive previous reviews. We had an end room-which was enormous and clean! Perfect space for two large dogs. We visited the dog run, small, but effective. The bar and common area were welcoming and fun! Unfortunately the lack of basic customer service was severely lacking, especially at check in. The young ladies seemed annoyed that we had dogs, despite this being a dog friendly hotel with rave reviews about all the things they provide for your pets. I asked for dogs beds, they never came. We asked for the doggy welcome bag-they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. I will say the bartender was attentive and as well as a gentlemen we encountered in the hall. It was a short stay, and we enjoyed it for the time we had. The location is great with restaurants very close by.

I made a reservation at this hotel because it was cheap and as a Wyndham Rewards member I could use a few points and save some money. I was not expecting a luxury hotel but simply a clean, quiet and comfortable place to crash for the night before an early morning departure. I still ended up disappointed. The first disappointment was at check in when I compared my receipt to my email confirmation. This hotel charges $1.50 ($1.61 with tax) for the privilege of having a safe in the room. They would not remove that charge even though I had no need for or intention of using it. I checked my confirmation from Wyndham and it states: ”Room Description Free WiFi, free continental breakfast, mini-refrigerator, microwave, air conditioning, coffee/tea maker, hair dryer, bathroom amenities, alarm clock, desk, iron, ironing board, in-room safe”. No where on the confirmation email does it indicate there would be a charge for the in-room safe. I guess I should be happy the hotel did not charge a fee for the coffee/tea maker, alarm clock, iron and ironing board - none of which I used either. The second disappointment was when I went to shower before bed. I looked up and stuff was hanging from the ceiling in the shower. Yuck. I didn't realize it was an ongoing problem until some of the stuff fell on me as I was showering. I looked up and the shower head was spraying water at the ceiling as I used it. I quickly finished and got out of there feeling less than clean. I was also disappointed with the poorly fitted drapes that didn't cover the window very well and let in a lot of light from the parking lot and the poorly fitted door which did nothing to block the noise from the hallway. Needless to say, I won't be staying at this property again and most likely will be avoiding the Wyndham properties in general as I can't trust the room cost on their site and what I will actually be charged. How will I know that the next Wyndham chain won't charge me junk fees as this one did. P.S. - If for some reason you have to stay here make sure you get a second floor room. The noise from above resonates through the floor and you'll hear every footstep from above.
