The location of the hotel is very good to go out and walk to the bar in the Seminyak neighborhood. Many of the bars on the left are the net red homes. Kimsoo is opposite the beautiful sunset restaurant Breeze at Samaya. The clean and simple style is ins wind fit. The photo service is also very good. Every waiter is smiling and the breakfast is rich and highly recommended! ! !

Everything was really great. I stayed for two nights, but I was very sorry to return at a place where I wanted to stay for more than a week. We can choose several kinds of breakfast and think whether we do not get tired even if we stay consecutively. You can go shopping just a few minutes outside, or enjoy a night out at the club next door. The outside is lively, but the inside of the villa is private and very quiet and calm.

This review is from someone who is just honestly trying to save you from staying somewhere you'll regret like we unfortunately did: We have stayed all over in Bali over 20 times (even including a lot of the $20ish per night budget hotels) and we fully understand that you get what you pay for... but this has been the only hotel that we have checked out early from losing our money as we had no choice but to leave. We moved from our first room in hopes another room would be somewhat better as the smell was so bad we couldnt bare it any longer. When we were moved to the other room it was even worse as we couldnt just smell it from the heavily moulded bathroom but from the damp bedding. We pulled back the damp sheets to find not normal hotel stains but heavy blood stains and super heavy urine stains. We then packed up and went down with our bags to let the reception know we had to leave as it wasn't somewhere we could be any longer. I won't go into too much detail about the other things such a dirty floors so bad that your feet turned black walking around the room, beds that felt like rocks, the sunless swamp of a pool which not one person had dared swim in the entire time, thick moulded sink taps, slimey shower floors & a sewerage smell so bad from the bathroom that the door couldn't be opened without gagging. As we booked through Agoda we were told by the manager on at the time that we could email & ask for a refund through them which we did... we have now been told by Agoda that Sense Hotel Seminyak has chosen not to refund anything which is apparently due to their refund policy. I thought that I should at least show other people what they'll be sleeping on & let them know what they would be smelling if they book here (which I am sure most won't after reading this review). I am in no way being that person who whinges about the all the bits of Bali hotels that can be somewhat dodgy here and there because I don't mind that at all but trust me when I say that this hotel isn't what you're looking for. Hope everyone has a great holiday elsewhere 🙌🏻

We booked a few nights here after doing a lot of research (there are tons of reviews on booking.com and the pictures make this place look amazing). We didn't expect much for $29 per night, however, we arrived and a few things went wrong: there wasn't anyone working there- and there's no official entryway to make it obvious where to check in, find help, etc- when we did find the elderly man there doing odds jobs he came to the front and helped us for a min. Then we got to the room, which was just a few steps away (the whole place is very small- like a villa with 4 bedrooms sharing the same patio) it was clean enough, but we opened the door to the bathroom and it smelled just like a porta potty. It was extremely strong- we couldn't use it. The door separating the room from the common patio was a rickety folding door that we didn't trust to stay locked/be a good safety barrier, so we didn't want to leave anything in the room. Everything was just extremely uncomfortable. We were there for maybe 2hrs before we left to stay at a different hotel (and only that long because the elderly man had to call/find the manager to figure out how to cancel our stay, as he didn't run the place and no one else was on site). But there were some positives: an a/c unit in the bedroom that worked and the wifi had a great connection and was very fast. The place is also in a cool location. Unfortunately though we wouldn't go back.

Just around the corner from Motel Mexicola on one side and Potato head, and a short walk to the beach and plenty of other great coffee shops, western and local cafes nearby. But the hotel itself is down a side road that is really quiet and peaceful. Room was nice and clean and a good size for the price. Garden and pool are beautiful any time of the day. Breakfast is either at the lobby dining area or they bring it to your room (at a time you book the night before), and lay it out on the balcony for you. We took ours on the balcony both times and it was the perfect start to the day. Staff were super friendly and helpful. There is a Re spa right next door. No complaints at all.

We stayed in the 1-bedroom villa with queen bed, a huge bathroom, own private pool, living room area and a kitchen. The location is awesome as it is just a short walk to restaurants, shopping streets and a shopping mall. A lot of reviewers were not pleased with the noise from the street outside the villas, but it’s not that bad. Pros 1. Breakfast is ordered the night before, before 8pm, and cooks would come in the morning, cooked and served fresh and hot from your villa. 2. Good-sized pool, clean and enough for a family. 3. Living room is really comfortable for hang out for a chat or a glass of wine. 4. Housekeeping staff Rai who was also the cook on our first day was awesome and very meticulous. 5. The bathroom is beautiful, with little details property thought of, but the water in the bathtub was not draining after the first bath. 6. My friend and I were amazed that there were no mosquitoes in the villa, at all!! Cons 1. Our experience with the front desk staff were not very pleasant from our check-in to when we had our phone calls with them. It could just be the communication barrier. They were overall very polite. 2. For a property that is 20-year-old, Bvilla seaside is in a very good condition. Perhaps the management would like to consider refreshing some areas of their villa: bathroom seat, water heater coming on and off, bathtub drainpipe, replace storage cabinets and drawers in the kitchen, towels were very tired and definitely need replacement. 3. Aircon in the room is recommended to be replaced with a bigger horsepower aircon. We couldn’t sleep the first night as we couldn’t feel the aircon at all. Maintenance guy came and checked that the aircon was operating fine. It was probably the side table lamps exuding heat as we turned those lamps off the second night and the air was cooler.

The privacy of a single "villa" is very good. The design of all the spaces except the bedroom is very unique. Breakfast and spa are all on-site services. The living process is very pleasant.

Good facilities. Friendly staff. Good location. Beautiful beach ... hotel with many advantages. However, there may be situations where check-in time is 3 o'clock and you cannot check in immediately at 3 o'clock because the room is not ready. This is a five star hotel and I think it's a shocking flaw. The first day waited 40 minutes and the second day waited more than an hour to see if there was any confusion in changing rooms. I checked in just before the sunset ~ ㅠ ~ I talked to the counter in advance to change the room the day before and left a note, but the staff didn't transfer the contents ~ I think it's better to hurry. Another disadvantage of this hotel is that it is difficult for customers to easily judge the structure of the building and the location of the rooms. Infinity pool and sea view in the main picture, pool view or pool and beach view in front of the building, and other city views. Naturally, the main building with the infinity pool and the beach is good. Infinity Pool View is open late at night, so if you are looking for a quiet place, Ocean View 1F is recommended. The first floor of the Ocean View has direct access to the picturesque beach and offers private sunsets from the terrace of the room. Studio at Seminyak and Deluxe Room are separated by annex so it's inconvenient to move around but it's cheaper ~ Only one room has the advantage of Bali. I wonder why I'm here at this hotel. I booked because it was a discount event from the beginning, and I regretted very much and changed it to Ocean View Terrace Suite on the second day. The point is that you can't know at all when you book these things.

We stayed here for 9 nights. Central to all cafes & Bars... mins from Circus Circus, Mexicola, Clean Canteen W hotel, Tropicola Potatoe Head, Mrs Sippy... next to Peppers Resort .. easy walk 10 min walk to Seminyak square. These villas are in a quite area, no road noise & just mins from the action. Easy 6 min walk to beach. the villas are a home away from home & very roomy with a huge pool 1.5mtrs deep ... just lovely. Staying here was our home away from home and we will definitely be booking for our next visit to Bali. Customer service was excellent, it was as close to a home stay you can get. Great breakfast as much as you could eat. We have travelled around Thailand & Vietnam and Koenokoeni is definitely our go to place on a regular basis from now on. It’s no quiet your 5 star resort, it’s better than that. It’s Personable, Spotless, priced right from villa price to room service. Thank you to all the staff for you friendly, attentive service with a home stay feel. We look forward to our next stay at Koenokoeni Villas in the near future. Marie & Daryl from Torquay Australia
