I was very pleased with the choice of the Le Theatre. It is a great little hotel, right on the main square in the old town. It sits behind/above the Brasserie Revue and is entered through their front terrace, Inside, very helpful and kind staff efficiently check you in and issue rooms in the historic building at the front or in a sympathetically built extension at the rear across a nice private courtyard. Rooms in each part are to the same design - modern and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was good quality and fresh. I had no problem using the free WiFi for work purposes and for streaming. The bathrooms are lovely and there was ample hot water in the evening and in the morning. Breakfast is served in the brasserie at the front and you can sit inside or on the terrace. The breakfast menu is nice and they are very flexible with combinations. The price was great value for the room and for the breakfast. I very much recommend you stay at this hotel.

Easy hotel is what it claims to be. Functional and cheap. Some reviewers comment on the small rooms, but that's clear on the website of the hotel. The reception is manned 24/7. There is a vending machine and coffee station at the reception. After check out one can use the large lockers for €3 to store any bags. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. The rooms have nice showers and the temperature can be regulated too. For the price, the hotel is a good deal. Many rooms have wonderful views of the waterfront. An ideal base for a short trip to the city. Perfect for a single person or 2 people sharing the room.

Dear Reader, This is a hotel which gives us mixed feelings. Its a fine hotel. You can walk in a half our to the central train station which is in the city. Beds are fine. Bath and shower ( all in one) is ok. Bar is good and the people who work there are friendly. The thing we did not like were the dirty spots on the floor. Dirty spots in the curtain. The toilet was not working well and the water from the bath did not easaly flushed away. The tempature in the room was far to warm. As we stayed in the hotel for 2 days we reported this at the reception. They fixed the toilet.

From the outside, this is a beautiful French-style hotel, located right on the Maarkt Square, perfect walking distance to the centrum. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly Reception staff who made our check in very smooth. The only thing I thought strange was that we were advised that there was no housekeeping service. At the time, I didn't think much of it, especially when we saw plenty of housekeeping staff on our floor, constantly cleaning rooms. We presumed that the Reception intended to advise that rooms wouldn't be cleaned every day, perhaps every other day or something. Our room was a Deluxe Executive Room and upon first inspection, it was very clean although later we discovered that there was a lot of dust I was also very disappointed that there was no water offered in the room and very minimal tea / coffee facilities. We were staying for three nights and whilst we didn't spend that much time in our room, the 'no housekeeping' thing became an issue. We were advised that if we needed anything, we could request it at Reception but for almost € 600 for three nights, I would have expected better. Clean towels, hoovering the floor, dusting and replacing the bins is something that at this sort of establishment, you should not have to request. In addition, we were woken up by a fire alarm on our first morning - we didn't see anyone else rushing to get out of the building so we inquired about this at Reception (having received no guidance from the hotel as to what was going on), only to be rudely advised that it was an 'issue with the alarm'. Great, but you should be advising your guests of this in a more appropriate manner. I also found the fact that there was no room service / proper breakfast offering very poor. We understood it was corona and there are limitations on usual offerings, but this is a staple of any luxury hotel. All in all, it was a fine stay, especially as we spent the majority of our time in Maastricht out and about, but I'm not sure this would be our choice hotel, if we returned to the city.

We enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff. Nice room though not much of a view from our place. Parking available via hotel is about 1/2 block away. There are a lot of short staircases going up and down in the middle of the levels. This gives hotel character, but if you have trouble doing stairs with bags you may want to ask for something near elevator. Bring eye patch for sleeping as the curtains don’t keep the sun out in the morning. There is no privacy for showers or bath, but both are really nice and spacious. Bed was comfy and place was clean. Location was a few steps from really great restaurants and just across bridge (5-10min walk) from shopping and night life.

I booked a deluxe one-bedroom room. The room is big and touching The poor size of European hotels everyone knows In fact, the concept of the hotel is similar to that of a shared apartment. The design is popular in Northern Europe + industry in recent years, suitable for online celebrities to take pictures. The location is great. It takes only 10 minutes to go to the city center to eat, drink and buy. The cafe downstairs, the organic supermarket, and the surrounding restaurants and cafes The hotel was rebuilt based on a porcelain burning factory, so it is very fashionable with the new and the old~ The concept focuses on "students" sharing, so the hotel service staff are more friendly and casual I gave an ice cream when I checked in. The details are pretty cute. Still have to pay attention: laundry and ironing can only go to the unified laundry room on the first floor of the hotel Laundry, coin-operated self-service type, ironing clothes, there are equipment at will

Although I had a good feeling about this hotel by visiting its website, entering the MABI really over delivered my expectations. Friendly, modern looking staff, a smooth check in & a French & modern lobby gave a real good first impression. Entering my room it was a pleasant surprise. Spacious, bright with a lot of details that put a smile on your face. Bathroom gave me the same happy feeling, having a nice bath. I felt in love with the shower head with massage jet. After a day in Maastricht, the receptionist offert me a ‘welcome back’ glass of wine. Back in my room, after choosing the pillows that where just right for me, The bed was perfect. One minor little thing; heard every step in the room above my head. No other noise, just the movement of the flooring. Breakfast was good, loved the golden accessories, they gave the space a little something extra. Check out was as friendly & smooth as the check in & I felt sorry to leave the nice, warm hotel, situated on just the right spot in Maastricht.

+ Awesome location, right next to the train station and close to shops + Cool art style throughout the hotel + Really warm and welcoming people - The fitness room had a running mat and a chest machine crammed into such a small room, I am not sure it can be associated with the word fitness or the word room. But I guess it's a hotel and not a gym anyway :)

The hotel has a great location on the road parallel to the river. There is a bus stop (2 minutes away) which we used coming from the airport. Buses are very frequent. The location is also 5 minutes by walk away from the market square and maybe 7-10 minutes from the Vrijthof Square. After two minutes you are at the Mosae Forum which is the heart of the shopping area. We stayed for the weekend to go to Andre Rieu's 21/12 concert. The hotel room was more than adequate with an ample bed. The room is nicely decorated with an AC (which worked for both hot/cold - I like to try these things for a good review). Room heating also worked great. Shower room is modern and has ample space with a walk-in shower. Plenty of towels which were changed daily. Breakfast consisted of eggs (any which way you like them) and even a special with deer meat and an omelet together with cheeses, cold cuts etc. We were even given pink champagne. Great service. The hotel is made up of three adjoining old Dutch houses. We stayed in the one where the reception is. The receptionist even called Expedia in the US because the website charged us €120 more for their commission - Expedia is a cheat and will not use again). The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to help you. The only gripe is the stairs although our room was at the back and very very quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel although due to Andre's concert and the proximity to Christmas, the price was a little high.

Good and pleasant stay for family. The room was clean and has all the neccesity that are essential. The location is good and there is parking for those who brings car. The buffet breakfast could be better and could be more generous as its a packed breakfast due to lockdown. Providing 1 butter for few breads is too little and when asked for more you only get one extra is a bit too stingy for the amount that we paid for breakfast. Small food items such as butter and Jam probably can let the customer pick up themself and decide how much they want.

My husband is a platinum member and I stayed at this hotel for a week. My husband booked a room for 3 days on points and we paid for 4 days. As it was May vacation, the prices were high. We paid for 4 days a bit less than $1000. (I believe the rooms were €220 a day. I did not do the breakfast at the hotel as this was an additional €27.50, Parking was €19.50 a day. If the hotel would have been good, I would not have mind as it is on a beautiful spot in Maastricht and very close to the center. The little terras in front of the river is gorgeous. However the room I was given (junior suite) was dirty. Not just dirty, but VERY dirty with stains on the carpet, the couch, the bureau chair and even the lamp. The fridge was hardly working, the airco was not cooling and with the bed up a very steep stairs, it was hot on the sleeping loft. The lock for the balcony door was not only not working, it was hanging loose. One day my room was not cleaned at all (and I was gone all afternoon and part of the night, so ample time), one day the room was cleaned however the trash was not taken out. I did report the problems to the front desk and was told they would forward the complaints to “the right people”. Except for one lady who helped with problems with the Dave in the room, staff was not overly friendly. Needles to say, I will not return to this hotel.

Hotel charges fixed rate per room, but doesn’t say that in their communication. When we changed group size for the second night they confirmed on email that they changed one room into one person. At check-in we found out that the change is only applicable for the tourist tax but not for the rate of the room. When we placed an official complaint they didn’t reply until after a few days and only after our reminder and request for an answer. Although they admit their communication was poor they did not offer a partial refund, only a discount for a next stay. There won’t be a next stay. If you are with an impair group size than this is not the best choice, unless you want to pay for 150 euros a night for one person for a three star hotel while other hotels in the neighborhood offer for less.

tl, dr: Beware -- prices can range from 80 to 380 euros for the 'medium apartment' (actually a tiny, somewhat grim room), but not a good value at even the lowest price. Made a next-day reservation in some haste and assumed from the price (170 euros) this was some kind of luxury hotel. It seems they increase their prices for immediate bookings -- it appears they do demand pricing, like Uber or something. For 170 euros, we did not get an "apartment". We got a fairly grim room that was about 2x the side of the bed, groundfloor, the bed about 1 meter from sidewalk traffic on the other side of the window. Windows were pretty well isolating, so street noise wasn't terrible, but noise inside the building was awful: we were awakened by people arriving around 1am, 2am, and 3am, and leaving starting at 7am. Footsteps on the stairs resonated through the walls, and we could hear people talking above us and on the same level. We could hear the squeaks when they turned on their taps. Furniture, pillows, linens and towels were all cheap quality. A pedestal table was just balanced on top of the pedestal unattached (we fixed it). The coffee machine still had a coffee packet from a previous guest, suggesting those machines are not even emptied, let alone cleaned, between guests. Heating/cooling provided by a ceiling heat pump that did not work well at all (noisy, has a disturbingly bright display when turned on, seemed to oscillate between blowing very hot and very cold air without achieving the set temperature). 170 euros did NOT include breakfast. Want an early check-in or late check-out? This establishment seems designed to separate as much of your money from you as possible, as they offer those standard conveniences for the outrageous surcharge of 25 euros more, each. This was all very salient since we had been in a luxury hotel that cost 2/3 as much in a larger city the days before this stay, which had breakfast included and an actual spa, fitness room, etc.

The natural environment of the hotel is very good, like a large garden, the room can only be said to be clean, but it is not small, and the cost performance is really high in Europe.
