0.46km from Cafe GlueckWe stayed at this hotel for four nights while in Munich. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. They accepted and held several packages for me in advance of our arrival, had our room ready when we arrived midday, and were helpful arranging an early morning taxi for our departure. I have some mixed feelings about the room. The decor and furnishings in the hotel is certainly from a few decades ago, but the room was clean and well-maintained, so we ended up having a comfortable and pleasant stay and there was value in the price we paid and what we received. The room faced the street, so with the window cracked, it was a bit noisy at times - but it was Oktoberfest season so I guess that's to be expected. The walk to the Theresienwiese was about 12-15 minutes, and the closest bus stop was about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There were some restaurants and shops in the area. The hotel is located about 20-25 minutes away from the Altstadt, depending on what public transport you take (or 10-15 via car). I like staying out of the tourist zone, but there is a lot of time and walking to get to places. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel as a good value with good service.
0.5km from Cafe GlueckWe stayed at the beautiful Hotel Olympic in December 2019. It is a small, cozy, bed and breakfast with the most excellent and friendly staff! Our stay was made extra special by Andreas (at the front desk). Andreas was extremely welcoming, and told us all about the wonderful neighborhood...including a recommendation of a walking tour. He was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and kind. The hotel has an art exhibit throughout that they change every month or two. The room we were in was beautiful, with a balcony into the courtyard, it was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Breakfast was wonderful with local, organic foods, and Andreas explained to us what everything was and where it had been procured. He also came around, personally, to make sure we were happy and brought us fresh pretzels...this was after he escorted us to the beautiful table with a couch and window into the courtyard. The location was perfect for walking to the Viktualienmarkt and to Marienplatz as well as other central old town sites. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Munich.

0.54km from Cafe GlueckUsually, I love unique settings and progressive projects. Still, I'm convinced this has not to affect comfort and fucntionality. Which was not my experience. This hotel is located in a trendy and accessible area, 10 min walking from the Viktualien market. The sorroundigs are full of nice restaurants, cafè and trendy stores. Rooms are at the 4° floor of a quite anonymous building. The check-in took very long as it's made through a laptop that couldn't validate my credit card. The room I've been given was so small it barely fit my baggage! no workdesk, no closet, no fridge... just a bed and a washbasin, the shower and the toilet in a separated "room". I'd say 6 sq. meters altogether. It was adjacent to the bar, which was quite crowded that friday night, so I heard the noise all through the night with people trying to get into my balcony to smoke. Breakfast is served in the same bar and consists in a self-service tray of croissants, coffe from the machine, a couple of bottles of juices from a bowl, bread and marmelades. Definitely awful for an hotel breakfast. At the check-out, nobody showed up at the desk, and I had to leave the hotel without even been given the keys to the garage. That made me late for my flight. All that at the not-so-cheap rate of 180€! Sorry, when I'm travelling for work I need another level of comfort and service.
0.75km from Cafe GlueckThis is the best hotel that I've stayed in so far, and the main reason was the staff. Everyone there is so helpful, hardworking and attentive to the guests' needs. Plus, the rooms are confortable and impeccably clean. The breakfast is amazing and there are lots of options even for people with food intolerances. I just came back from my trip and I already miss this place. It was simply amazing and I recommend it to everyone!
0.77km from Cafe GlueckI recently stayed at the Cocoon Sendlinger Tor in Munich Germany during a visit to see the German reggae/rock band SEEED at the Munich Olympic Arena. The hotel is rather interesting. They try to give off a vibe that they are cool and hip, but alas it was a bit disappointing. The hotel is currently under renovation(they did present us with a small welcome kit to say sorry for the construction work), which is a bit of a distraction, since my room was a bit 'tired/worn'. The room(32) itself is about 10ft x 12ft, and off a long access corridor is a 3 chamber bathroom. The toilet, sink and shower are each in their own compartment, and share a sliding door. A unique setup and allows for a good use of space. The room faced Lindwurm Strasse and did not suffer from street noise. The blankets and sheets were of good quality. We had a good selection of television stations. But the room did not have a clock or telephone( a sign of the times). Breakfast was not included in our room rate( for some reason a lot of hotels do not include breakfast when you book with Expedia.) So we paid 10 Euro a day for it. The selection of fresh fruits, cheeses, breads, eggs and pastries seemed to change everyday. The staff very friendly. A bit distracting is, if you have a cup of coffee or espresso outside of breakfast hours they charge 2.30 Euro for a cup. I would think this would be complimentary like all hotels I have stayed in. The staff(front end) all seemed very young! They have a interesting program if you forgo your room being cleaned they will credit you 5 Euro per day, that can be used towards hotel services excluding the room rate.
0.77km from Cafe GlueckThe location is very good, 5 minutes walk to the subway station, and the main attractions can also be reached on foot. Check in check out is very fast. The apartment has a cooking place and the room is spacious. The breakfast is quite rich, and many local specialties can be eaten at breakfast. The breakfast is long enough for you to taste slowly. There is no air conditioning, there is no problem in the autumn season, and I don’t know it in the summer. The fan is quite powerful.

0.81km from Cafe GlueckWe stayed here during the Christmas Markets. It was an easy walk from the Salingertor Station (be sure to use the correct exit which has an up escalator but no down escalator). There is a lot of construction in the area and heavy traffic,so exiting on the correct exit is a must! Coming from the airport with luggage, exit the metro car at Marinplatz and change lines to one going to Salinger Tor station. It is an easy walk with no luggage but with luggage and the crowds at the market, we decided to change lines. The check in was easy and friendly. Our prepaid reservation was without breakfast but they did have it available as well as a nice small bar. The elevator is very small but it held both of us and our luggage which is very small. The room was filled with charming antique furniture so if you want new and matching, this is not for you. The room was clean and the linens were nice. Our only complaint was the soap/body wash/shampoo was limited. We asked for more and received it with no problem. The gentleman at the front desk remembered our name and room number each time we saw him, even when we checked out for a few days and returned for a second stay. It is close to everything but away from the craziness.
0.84km from Cafe GlueckThis hotel is good but you get what you pay for. Clean and safe but pillows and beds are average with only a doona to cover you at night. There is a fridge in room with electric hot plates but even when we plugged the fridge in it did not work. Also no phone if you need to contact downstairs or call out. Room was kept clean and it is in walking distance to alot of places. The hotel is right next to an underground stop also.
0.94km from Cafe GlueckMy husband and I were scheduled to stay in Munich, as part of our honeymoon, for Euro 2020. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we were forced to postpone our trip. Staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and issued us a voucher to use for when we re-schedule. No fights, no fuss. It was such a wonderful experience -- and I can honestly, say, it proves just why we decided to stay at this hotel. LGBTQ friendly - and super awesome! Customer service is what makes a place amazing -- and there's no doubt in our minds, that Hotel Deutsche Eiche will be out of this world amazing when we stay there next year. Based on the service alone, I would highly recommend this place!
0.94km from Cafe GlueckIn good faith and with the joyful expectation of a long awaited family vacation we made plans back in early February to stay at the Hotel Exquisit for the final night of a family trip on September 20. At the time of our booking, we paid $1,179 in good faith using the “non-refundable” price (which saved us maybe $150 at the time). Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus, the German government prohibited our entry as US citizens into the country and all of our flights were canceled making our stay impossible. After working with Hotels.com and calling and emailing the hotel directly multiple times over the course of several months, the hotel has REFUSED TO work with us or REFUND ANY PORTION of our payment. We have been told that our request hdd been passed on to the hotel’s managers, Maria Sperger-Bolla and Ivan Bolla, but they have failed to ever respond to us. Out of the 50 reservations that we have had to adjust this year, the Hotel Exquisit is the ONLY one that has refused any type of refund or response due to COVID cancellations. We may never be able to go to Munich, but if we ever do get the opportunity WE WILL DEFINITELY NOT stay at the Hotel Exquisit and we recommend that you don’t either. Their example is NOT an “Exquisit” experience in any way other than a disappointing one. Support businesses with integrity instead.
0.94km from Cafe GlueckYou dont get a luxury experience here. But what you get, is a bed, a clean room, and a location VERY close to were all the fun is. Parking is difficult and quite expensive, so another time I would maybe park further away, and take the train or bus to the hotel. I did not buy the breakfast buffet there, because the area is full of cafes and bakerys.
0.99km from Cafe GlueckMy boyfriend and I recently stayed at this hotel while we were in Munich to see the Christmas markets. The hotel's very convenient to the train station -- it's an easy walk of a mile or so. It's also convenient to the Christmas markets; the few stalls at Senlinger Tor are very close, and it doesn't take long to get to the markets at Marienplatz. The hotel is very modern and clean. Bedrooms seem to be on the smallish side; there's not a lot of room to maneuver around the bed(s). But bathrooms are a decent size. We didn't try the breakfast, which seemed rather expensive (19 Euro per person!). But there are many restaurants and stores nearby where you can purchase food. All rooms are several floors up (the lobby is up a flight from the ground floor, and guest rooms start on the floor above that), so there's virtually no street noise even though the hotel's located in a fairly busy pedestrian area.

This is a very cost-effective European hotel, the same price, better than the Marriott next door. First of all, the location is very convenient. It is 300 meters on foot from the subway station. The Lufthansa Express Bus at the airport is also at the entrance of the subway station. It can be 10 Euros from here to the airport, 15 minutes. The room was very good, I stayed in a superior room, but the facilities were great and new. There is a capsule coffee machine, there is a glass bottle of water (with a gas without a gas), there are bathrobe slippers, the towel is very thick. The room is very soundproof and the curtains are perfect. Room attendants are well trained and not as cold as most hotels. Book breakfast at the front desk for 26 Euros at check-in, which is a few dollars cheaper than direct signing. There are many kinds of fruits, a lot of fruits, and a handsome little brother will make you an egg roll.
Tulip inn is one of the many trade show hotels around the Munich messe. Located about 4km from the fair ground in a typical (there’s nothing going on but offices) industrial area. Directly located at the 94 highway thus easy accessible. Reception is understaffed and checking/ checkout might take a while. Rooms are pretty basic but clean (no neighbors noise!) breakfast is not to extensive but provides hot food and the typical bread and Cereals. To sum it up, not a place where you want to spend time with a family but a descend business facinity
Just stayed here for a few nights with the family. We opted for two rooms but where double beds were expected the rooms had two single beds put together. The bathroom was very clean and the showers worked a treat. There were very large TVs in each room and the beds were comfortable. Each room had plenty of storage space and each had air conditioning. We opted not to have breakfast, because the hotel was situated about 100 yards from the train station, so we went there instead. Breakfast here was about 20 Euros a head so we walked to the station for fresh food. As you leave the hotel and walked through the passage to the road, you turned right and the train station was right in front, just across the road. Staff were very friendly, there was free wifi and lifts to the rooms. Overall it was a nice place to stay and it was extremely well sited for trains and trams in and out of the city. Would stay here again, if only because it was so well situated being effectively just across the road from the train station.
We came 2 hours earlier than the check in time but were told that our room were ready. Tobias welcomes us at the check in and he was really friendly and welcoming. The hotel is quite new and about 8 minutes walk to the Station. It was quite fast to go to central Munich. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. Breakfast was a bit pricy at €19 per person per day, so we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel.
The location is excellent, but because of the recent construction near the Munich train station, the outside environment has a little impact, but the room is absolutely quiet and comfortable. We brought two children this time. There was no extra money for breakfast. The suites were arranged on the top floor and the scenery was beautiful. The rooms are fully equipped, all electronically controlled, very scientific and technological! PS: The hotel has a rich breakfast, especially the variety of fruits and high quality. There is also a bar that can make waffles by yourself. The children will make their own meals every day, especially happy.
