We stayed at this hotel for four nights while in Munich. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. They accepted and held several packages for me in advance of our arrival, had our room ready when we arrived midday, and were helpful arranging an early morning taxi for our departure. I have some mixed feelings about the room. The decor and furnishings in the hotel is certainly from a few decades ago, but the room was clean and well-maintained, so we ended up having a comfortable and pleasant stay and there was value in the price we paid and what we received. The room faced the street, so with the window cracked, it was a bit noisy at times - but it was Oktoberfest season so I guess that's to be expected. The walk to the Theresienwiese was about 12-15 minutes, and the closest bus stop was about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There were some restaurants and shops in the area. The hotel is located about 20-25 minutes away from the Altstadt, depending on what public transport you take (or 10-15 via car). I like staying out of the tourist zone, but there is a lot of time and walking to get to places. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel as a good value with good service.

We stayed at the beautiful Hotel Olympic in December 2019. It is a small, cozy, bed and breakfast with the most excellent and friendly staff! Our stay was made extra special by Andreas (at the front desk). Andreas was extremely welcoming, and told us all about the wonderful neighborhood...including a recommendation of a walking tour. He was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and kind. The hotel has an art exhibit throughout that they change every month or two. The room we were in was beautiful, with a balcony into the courtyard, it was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Breakfast was wonderful with local, organic foods, and Andreas explained to us what everything was and where it had been procured. He also came around, personally, to make sure we were happy and brought us fresh pretzels...this was after he escorted us to the beautiful table with a couch and window into the courtyard. The location was perfect for walking to the Viktualienmarkt and to Marienplatz as well as other central old town sites. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Munich.

Usually, I love unique settings and progressive projects. Still, I'm convinced this has not to affect comfort and fucntionality. Which was not my experience. This hotel is located in a trendy and accessible area, 10 min walking from the Viktualien market. The sorroundigs are full of nice restaurants, cafè and trendy stores. Rooms are at the 4° floor of a quite anonymous building. The check-in took very long as it's made through a laptop that couldn't validate my credit card. The room I've been given was so small it barely fit my baggage! no workdesk, no closet, no fridge... just a bed and a washbasin, the shower and the toilet in a separated "room". I'd say 6 sq. meters altogether. It was adjacent to the bar, which was quite crowded that friday night, so I heard the noise all through the night with people trying to get into my balcony to smoke. Breakfast is served in the same bar and consists in a self-service tray of croissants, coffe from the machine, a couple of bottles of juices from a bowl, bread and marmelades. Definitely awful for an hotel breakfast. At the check-out, nobody showed up at the desk, and I had to leave the hotel without even been given the keys to the garage. That made me late for my flight. All that at the not-so-cheap rate of 180€! Sorry, when I'm travelling for work I need another level of comfort and service.

We stayed here during the Christmas Markets. It was an easy walk from the Salingertor Station (be sure to use the correct exit which has an up escalator but no down escalator). There is a lot of construction in the area and heavy traffic,so exiting on the correct exit is a must! Coming from the airport with luggage, exit the metro car at Marinplatz and change lines to one going to Salinger Tor station. It is an easy walk with no luggage but with luggage and the crowds at the market, we decided to change lines. The check in was easy and friendly. Our prepaid reservation was without breakfast but they did have it available as well as a nice small bar. The elevator is very small but it held both of us and our luggage which is very small. The room was filled with charming antique furniture so if you want new and matching, this is not for you. The room was clean and the linens were nice. Our only complaint was the soap/body wash/shampoo was limited. We asked for more and received it with no problem. The gentleman at the front desk remembered our name and room number each time we saw him, even when we checked out for a few days and returned for a second stay. It is close to everything but away from the craziness.

The location is very close to the subway station. The room is generally ok, the area is relatively large, with a balcony, a small garden in the atrium. You need to bring your own toiletries. Roll paper and shower gel, hand sanitizer is there... This price is 80 points. Slippers need to bring their own.

It is a very simple and ordinary small hotel with small rooms and small beds and toilets, but it is very clean and the transportation is convenient. The price is very good in Munich. The attitude of the front desk is very good, because there are rooms available, the front desk let us check in early. The room is not equipped with a kettle and disposable toiletries, as most European hotels do, you can bring your own if you need it.

Good location, very close to the Marienplatz. The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is 9.8 Euro/person for the outside staff and 8 Euro/person for the guest, and sometimes a breakfast coupon is given. The downside is that the elevator is parked in the middle of the two floors, and the luggage needs to move up half a floor. The car park is a paid car park a few hundred meters away. The two-person room cannot accommodate an extra bed, but you can play the ground floor yourself.

In good faith and with the joyful expectation of a long awaited family vacation we made plans back in early February to stay at the Hotel Exquisit for the final night of a family trip on September 20.  At the time of our booking, we paid $1,179 in good faith using the “non-refundable” price (which saved us maybe $150 at the time). Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus, the German government prohibited our entry as US citizens into the country and all of our flights were canceled making our stay impossible. After working with Hotels.com and calling and emailing the hotel directly multiple times over the course of several months, the hotel has REFUSED TO work with us or REFUND ANY PORTION of our payment. We have been told that our request hdd been passed on to the hotel’s managers, Maria Sperger-Bolla and Ivan Bolla, but they have failed to ever respond to us. Out of the 50 reservations that we have had to adjust this year, the Hotel Exquisit is the ONLY one that has refused any type of refund or response due to COVID cancellations. We may never be able to go to Munich, but if we ever do get the opportunity WE WILL DEFINITELY NOT stay at the Hotel Exquisit and we recommend that you don’t either. Their example is NOT an “Exquisit” experience in any way other than a disappointing one. Support businesses with integrity instead.

You dont get a luxury experience here. But what you get, is a bed, a clean room, and a location VERY close to were all the fun is. Parking is difficult and quite expensive, so another time I would maybe park further away, and take the train or bus to the hotel. I did not buy the breakfast buffet there, because the area is full of cafes and bakerys.

1 minute walk from the subway station. It was very convenient to go to Marienplatz and Central Station in one station, so 5 points! The facility also had a bathtub, so I went there during the frigid season, so it was very helpful for warming up. However, the wash basin is about to come off, so 3 points. The service is unfriendly grandpa check-in. But at other times he smiled. I would also like to use it when I go to Munich.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at this hotel while we were in Munich to see the Christmas markets. The hotel's very convenient to the train station -- it's an easy walk of a mile or so. It's also convenient to the Christmas markets; the few stalls at Senlinger Tor are very close, and it doesn't take long to get to the markets at Marienplatz. The hotel is very modern and clean. Bedrooms seem to be on the smallish side; there's not a lot of room to maneuver around the bed(s). But bathrooms are a decent size. We didn't try the breakfast, which seemed rather expensive (19 Euro per person!). But there are many restaurants and stores nearby where you can purchase food. All rooms are several floors up (the lobby is up a flight from the ground floor, and guest rooms start on the floor above that), so there's virtually no street noise even though the hotel's located in a fairly busy pedestrian area.

Amazing location (5 minutes away from Marienplatz) and everything within walking distance. MRT also 5 minutes away by foot. The breakfast in the hotel is simple but lovely, with fresh coffee on the table, and teabags too. Old but clean hotel, with a hairdryer on request in the room, and shower gel / shampoo. If anything the hotel room was dated & cold, but there were extra duvets in the cupboard

I arrived at the hotel at 18:30 and said that the room had not been waiting for 10 minutes. Then I was told that the room was full and I was arranged to live in another hotel 400 meters away. I have booked and confirmed it in late July. I don’t know Ctrip and the hotel. Confirmation is late or for other reasons, although the waiter's attitude is very sincere, but still very upset. For this reason, I also paid 3 hours of parking fees (2.50Euro/hr, 40.00Euro/day)😒 Note: The score is not objective because the hotel is not staying at the hotel.

The location is very good, very close to the Deutsches Museum, passing through a green belt and a very beautiful river. And even walking to Munich city centre and Marianne Square is 20-30 minutes. And the separation of a river makes the hotel very quiet. And next to the hotel is an Audi 4S shop, you can go in and see the price of Audi in Germany, haha But I have to say that the conditions inside the room are really average. I am giving the room type with a loft inside the top floor. The bedroom was very small, and I could only put down a bed. I was very happy to see that the bedroom was pushed out and there was a large terrace. But then I found that the terrace was completely connected to the next door, which was not in line with the Chinese people’s habits. It also makes people feel unsafe. The air conditioning in the room is almost equal to the display, plus a few days just arrived in Munich, the sun is shining, it is very hot. So it is difficult to sleep at night. I don't know if it is only the top floor room type. This is an apartment-style hotel with a kitchen in the room. If you want to cook for yourself, it is very convenient. I don't know what it is. In the few days we stayed, we saw that almost half of the tourists in the hotel were Indians. The room area was full of curry.

This is a very cost-effective European hotel, the same price, better than the Marriott next door. First of all, the location is very convenient. It is 300 meters on foot from the subway station. The Lufthansa Express Bus at the airport is also at the entrance of the subway station. It can be 10 Euros from here to the airport, 15 minutes. The room was very good, I stayed in a superior room, but the facilities were great and new. There is a capsule coffee machine, there is a glass bottle of water (with a gas without a gas), there are bathrobe slippers, the towel is very thick. The room is very soundproof and the curtains are perfect. Room attendants are well trained and not as cold as most hotels. This hotel is rather biased. When I went there, I didn't know why the Munich hotels were expensive and not suitable for us, so I looked for a hotel not too far from the subway station. But it's really far away from the city. I feel like going there for at least half an hour, and the Munich rail traffic is particularly crowded. It takes 1 hour to go to BMW! There were few people at night, but it felt safe, and there were many houses nearby. Buy a bus ticket, you can't go anywhere. There is a meat roll shop near the downstairs okay. There seems to be no serious restaurant nearby. There is a Burger King which is very low and did not go. There is a supermarket, which is not very cheap. Fortunately, it can be replenished. You have to buy some water and breakfast. Facilities are similar to domestic express hotels, the room is half smaller! Two small single beds, a bit like a hotel in Hong Kong. However, it is clean, the chain is very formal, and living is OK. There is a kettle. I don't know why many hotels in Germany have not completely separated their baths, and they always get a lot of water out. The bathroom is Japanese, with a toilet in the small grid. If there are no cheap hotels in the city, I would still stay here and take a train to the airport for more than an hour.
