Our family spent Christmas and New Year at Le Scribe. We stayed in 6 rooms for almost 2 weeks. The Scribe has more than exceeded our expectations! It was a joy to arrange this complicated holiday with their reservations team months prior to our stay. They were very accommodating and went out of their way to cater to our requests. Farah, the reservations supervisor, was like a genie, who made every possible effort to grant our wishes. Check-in was a breeze. Benedicte, the assistant GM, made sure we are all sorted and she connected us with Concierge and F&B for all our dining requirements. We felt very pampered, to say the least. The bedrooms are fantastic! These newly-renovated rooms are spacious, impeccably decorated, modern but with that old world elegance. Lots of closet/drawer space. The big mirrors on top of the mantle doubled as the TV! Amazing! The beds were super comfortable. The temperature controls in the room were highly responsive. The bathrooms were very spacious, enormous, by Parisian standards. Separate shower and tub, and a separate toilet stall. The hotel has a modern ambiance but retains its old world elegance. Breakfast buffet was a delight. We loved the special seating they arranged for our entire stay. It was like being home, having breakfast at the family table. Arnaud, our waiter for most of our stay, always knew when we needed something. He magically appears with our favorite beverage, and always with a smile. We all missed him when he took his days off. The breakfast offerings were impressive-fruits, yogurts and parfaits stations, hot food, the most delicious croissants. It was always the perfect way to start our days. The bar with its staircase and library feel was a delight! Go have coffee or a drink in the second floor and watch the street below. The lava cake and the free range chicken in the room service menu were winners for all the kids and adults in the family. We must have ordered dozens of them during our stay. The staff. They are the superstars of the Scribe. Cleotilde and the rest of the Concierge staff were our life savers-from magically getting tickets that are practically sold-out, to finding dentists during New Year’s eve, they performed magic! The restaurant staff took very good care of us every time we dined at the hotel. The guest services and front desk personnel were super friendly. The valets and bellmen were always very helpful. 6 rooms, 16 people meant dozens of luggage. They perfectly executed luggage delivery without breaking a sweat and in record time! Housekeeping was efficient. Marie ensured that we liked the salon they let us use for our family Christmas gift exchange. They even put up a Christmas tree. That was sincerely going above and beyond and we really appreciated it. The Scribe is perfectly located, within short walking distance to the Galleries Lafayette, the Opera, Vendôme, the Madeline Church where we heard Sunday Christmas and New Year masses. Plenty of dining options aro

Great location hotel, less than ten minutes walk from the Opera House, the neighborhood is lively and safe. It was a bit uneasy at first to see that Ctrip was more than 500 cheaper than other websites. The result was completely fine. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and quickly confirmed the order information. This price is considered to be cost-effective in Paris. The toilet and shower room are partitioned, especially large, but the bedroom is a bit petite. The two suitcases can only be opened against the wall and cannot be fully expanded. The mattress is very soft. The toiletries are made by Hermès, and the overall feeling is still relatively delicate. I will consider staying here next time I go to Paris.

Elegantly designed modern look, not overly done but comfortable on the eye. Very tidy hotel and room. Select room that faces inner yards and it's quiet. Top location. Small restaurants and super market all around the corner and less than 1 minute walk. Nice staff, not "overly" friendly, but in a way that makes you feel comfortable. Room is small but good at layout. Yet the space for wardrobe is still limited. When staying longer than 1 week (e.g. I stay for 8 nights), it is a bit hard for space management. But the room fee is very good value for money, esp. during French Open. Definitely recommend.

Although the sparrow is a small hotel with well-equipped facilities, the rooms are not big, but they have everything they should, very comfortable. The suitcase was broken, and the front desk took out various tapes and films to help. You can borrow an umbrella when it rains, and there is a shoe sponge in the room. The location is right in the city center, convenient for eating and shopping. Will come again.

As they say, location, location, location! Triangle d'Or is a short-walk-distance from the Louvre, a little bit further but you can reach the fabulous Eiffel Tower, through a lovely pleasant walk along the gorgeous river Seine. If you're into spending hundreds of pounds shopping, Champs Elysees is also walking distance. There are cafes in nearly every corner, and awn they all serve French croissants, and lovely delicious French cuisine. Back to the hotel, it's small, comfy, clean, well decorated, small lift fitting 5 people (which is big for Paris standards!), very silent at night, shower with loads of water-pressure, and a box that doesn't leak water out, TV has normal channels or you can pay-per-view, if instead of walking the wonderful Paris you prefer to stay in. It's a busy hotel though, so unlikely you will get any "late checkout", but they can keep your luggage for you if your trip won't start until much later, and you wish to explore Paris the last hours of your stay! Truly recommend, it's not cheap though, but worth every penny!

I stayed here for four nights. Although I ended up here as a part of airbnb scamming, the hotel manager really tried to help me out to resolve the matters. Location was great and close to everything and the room was really clean. Walkable distance to many museums and also the shopping district. Some of the hotel staff were friendly, some could have been better and more helpful. Look for discounted rated online. This could have been a great pleasant stay, if it weren't for the scamming.

Booked two nights at Hôtel Massena, 16 rue Tronchet, 75008, primarily to see a gig at the Olympia. It promotes itself as a 3-star hotel and it's about right. It's location is great. A massive big tick for that because many attractions are within walkable distance. It is, however, a tiny hotel. Think literally petite and you'll get what I mean! The "lobby" consists of a small group of armchairs with a tiny reception desk. And the broadcast room is around the corner, which is like a smaller living lounge. The lift is also small, fitting only two persons and some smaller luggage. Our room was on the fourth floor. And when I say a "room" it's literally like someone's bedroom. Like the rest of the hotel, it's a smaller size and not much too it other than a double-bed (which was comfortable) and a compact bathroom. While everything is clean, the carpets etc. are worn and the entire place screams out for some modernisation.  For the price we paid, it should have been done already. But this is over-priced Paris for you and any modernisation cost would undoubtedly be added to an already over-priced place, so maybe not worth it. Our room had, however, a nice air conditioning which was welcome as it was around 30 C degrees outside. The most annoying it was that we could loudly hear our neighbours shutting their doors during the night and early in the mornings. Maybe the walls are only made of pot pouri!

We have booked more than four-star hotels this time, this is the worst hotel we regret! Like a domestic farmhouse! The hotel is very small, the name of the store is written on the awning at the door. The font is small and black. When the taxi arrives at the hotel, we find it for a long time to see the name on the door. The door is also very small like the entrance door to the home! There are about five rooms on each floor, four or five floors, the room is small, and the body can't be turned, but the functional design is very complete! There are some domestic hot water bottles! The elevator is only enough for 2-3 people to ride, but not too fat! The breakfast room is a small basement with a tight seat. There are very few varieties available for breakfast. Generally, Chinese people are not accustomed to it. Eggs and hot milk should be sent to the waiter. The most unbearable thing is that the room is very noisy, the car on the road outside has been rumbling, and if you open the window, you feel like sleeping on the road! Also, when we left the store, let the front desk attendant contact the taxi. The four of us said that we would like a big taxi. The waiter said that we must have two cars. We said that we came together as a car, and we It is not easy to contact after separation. As a result, the waiter asked us to call two cars. The first car was big. We could walk with four people and the drivers agreed. As a result, the driver of the second car did not agree to grab our luggage. Two cars sit and argue for a long time! The waiter also helped us to take two cars! Really served!

This would have been a good hotel if not for the bad service! Myself, my 2 daughters and my mom stayed at 2 rooms in this hotel. I shared my room with one of my daughters and my other daughter shared another room with my mom. My room was really spacious for a hotel room in Paris. It had a king bed and another twin bed in an ante room. It had all the amenities you need - refrigerator, coffee pot etc. My reservation was for 4 nights in my room and 3 nights for the one occupied by my mom since she was leaving a day early. I informed the front desk when I checked in that for one night my other daughter will have to share my room since the other room will be given up. The person who checked us in said it was not going to be a problem, they will just add an additional fee to accommodate 3 people in my current room for the last night. On the fourth day, when my other daughter said she was checking out with my mom, the person at the front desk (different one - tall Caucasian) said that there was an error, that it was my room that we had to give up and move in to the room where my mom vacated. I told them that it does not make sense for me to vacate my room, that it should be the other way around for my daughter to just move in to my current room. The front desk said that they cannot do that because my room was larger and that it was provided to me as a courtesy. I said if that was the case, then that room should have been the one provided to my mom and daughter not the other way around. Imagine, my daughter and I was not packed and we now have to pack and move our stuff for one night in another room. He said that I cannot stay on my current room because it was already booked for the night by another customer! All the person at the front desk could do was assist us in moving our luggage! He was not helpful at all and was even rude trying to explain to me that I got the upgraded room as a freebie when in fact, the picture of the room I booked online was exactly the room I was in. He made it appear as if I did not understand what he was saying (seeing that I only spoke English) as if I was dumb not to understand their error and passing it off that I should count myself lucky since I got an upgraded room! I paid a higher rate for my room than the other room because it was the only available room left on line. In addition, I already used a private service to take my mom to the airport and he was very nice so I told the front desk that I wanted the same person to take us to the airport the following day. The same person at the front desk booked someone else and so 2 people showed up and the nice driver that I wanted to use just relented to the other driver. Another thing that really annoyed me is that when I go out for the day, I put on my door 'Do Not Disturb" because I didn't want to lock up my valuables and pack my stuff everyday. But every time, the housekeeping will still enter our room and change the sheets and towels and move my things around which

Me and my teenage son were staying 4 nights. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. Nice and friendly staff. They told us when we arrived that we had a upgrade and that is always a good start. :)(Maybe if we did have had the original room it would have been very small?) If you expect a regular hotel you will be disappointed as this is small apartments yet with a reception. The two minuses I can think of is the “not so fresh smell” in the room when we arrived. Should be easy to fix that I guess and it was not that bad that we made a fuss about it. The other minus was the entrance and I guess it’s outside what the hotel might can fix but again there were a unpleasant smell I guess because of the nightclub which shares the corridor to the courtyard. We would be happy to come back one day!

We booked a Superior Double room at this hotel. We arrived before checkin time so had to store our luggage. We had no assistance in moving our luggage from the tiny lobby into the elevator and down to the luggage room at a lower level. (The only reception staff are 2 young ladies who handle the front desk.) After checking in we got the key to the luggage room from the front desk and moved our luggage up to our room. This Superior room was dark and minimal in decor. The bathroom had lots of mold around the tub/shower as well as in the grout between the floor tiles. Dust was layered on pipes along the bathroom floor next to the wall. Lots of chipped paint and stains on the carpet in the bedroom.Room had a tiny closet in a dark corner. The walls were thin and any movement in rooms above or next door were easily heard. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast room was nicely decorated and the breakfast was good. Just wish the hotel would have extended the cleanliness and decor to our room. The location is very good...near Place Vendome and the Opera. We would not stay at this hotel again

We decided we would like to stay near the Opera and Grands Magasins and we saw good reviews on tripadvisor and also in a book we have on unique hotels in Paris. Normally we would have travelled by metro, but for various reasosnwe took a taxi from the Gare du Nord and the moment we arrived the receptionist rushed out to help us with our bags and hold the door open. The room was ready and a helpful porter took us and our bags to the room which is very nice. Unusually for central Paris the room was large with desk, plenty of chairs and a very comfortable bed. We slept very well , and there was very little street noise. Also unusually for central Paris we had a bathtub as well as a shower,.The breakfast was good- you get a generous bread basket , and can help yourself to cereals, scrambled egg and fruit and extra bread and pastries from the buffet and also can order other kinds of egg,. We had breakfast in our room on my birthday and the order was accurate and arrived at the time we asked, My boiled egg was hardboiled rather than soft boiled, but that was okay. We visit Paris at least once a year and try to say somewhere different each time, but this was the most comfortable bed I have slept in Paris or anywhere else.

The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.

Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!

For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.

Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!

We got a beautiful Junior Suite with Balcony, even in the city and on a street with traffic located, it was very quiet and you couldnt hear anything from outside while the doors are closed. It is very spacious and with a very pretty bathroom with luxury amenities from Hermés! And of course full equipped mini bar with Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is delicious and a mix from a la carte and buffet, what I love. So you can have everything what your heart desire. The best is the amazing Akasha Spa!! It is so big and has everything, big indoor pool, big sauna, big steam bath, big jacuzzi and a cold bath. Even if they are many relax beds to lay on, sometimes you are just alone and its like you have a private spa. Friendly and helpful staff all around the hotel! I definitely will return!
