We stayed a night just to catch a train out of Milano Centrale (about a 15min walk) the next morning. The room seemed clean but the bathroom smelled overwhelmingly of urine. We washed the floor and all the surfaces ourselves and that helped somewhat--the bathroom clearly had not been cleaned before our arrival. The lack of air conditioning would not have been a problem (there was a single fan in the room) if we could have kept the window open at night, but the only window looked out directly onto a neighboring building's brightly lit balcony and we had to keep the curtain drawn to have any darkness/privacy. This made the room so suffocatingly hot that I barely slept at all. Way overpriced for the cleanliness/comfort of the room.

Went up to a rating of 'very good' only because of two of the staff members. They were both female and very helpful to us as we were in constant need of directions. However, the day of check out we were asked how many waters were in the fridge and informed we would need to pay for them by a male staff member. Other than this issue, the stay was pleasant. About Milan transportation to/from this hotel...if you are flying to MXP (Milan-Malpensa) this hotel is an hour away by taxi and very expensive. This hotel to Milan Centrale Station is about 5-7 min by taxi (about 7 -8 Euro) then you can take the bus from centrale station for about (8 Euro), if you take a taxi from centrale station to MXP it will about 95 Euro (it is a flat rate printed on the taxi window). And taking Uber for 4 ppl was 203 Euro!

City Bio Hotel is just on El Dolo,a stone's throw from Sondrio train station and a 5-10 minutes walk feom Centrales FS-main train, easily accessed from airport! Now,this is a hidden and quiet place. When you check in,you night not see anybody aside from the front desk agent! Its only at breakfast that you'll find the tables are all taken if you go to restaurant around 8:45/9 am!! So,its quite popular! The rooms are smallish, but VERY clean-house keeping lady is quite thorough..she beats many bigger hotels i've been to! Breakfast buffet- it was much more than i imagined and expected for such a minimalistic/very basic hotel( eggs are awesome and fresh, freshly made pastries-i mean, they bake them during breakfast and served hot!!!) The staff are fantastic(well, sadly, their English is non existent, like most other hospitality places we visited in Milan(restaurants, coffee shops, hotels) which is weird! The lady who serves breakfast is quite awesome at what she does and makesup for the zero English!!! Thank you Bio City!!! I'd very highly recommend it,especially since its also affordable.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, had some problem with before staying in this hotel, such as trying to send me to another hotel because they couldn't confirm this hotel was open, but i knew the hotel was open because i emailed them before. So i was having it and tried everything i could to stay in hotel venini. Mainly because of the location, its close to the central train station 20 minutes to be precised the closest you're gonna get for a cheap price. There are some cheap restaurants around mainly chinese and italian based, some big shops near by. The other hotel was very badly located, 40 minutes away from the central train station and closer to the cathedral meaning no cheap restaurants. But all this confusion was due to coronavirus. But the worst was yet to come when we found out about city tax something that is common in italy but nowhere on the internet warns you about. In Milan it is €4 per night for 3 star hotels and below and €5 for 4 and 5 star hotels. This caught us of guard expecially when we were staying for 16 nights and had to pay €65. When we went it was a room serviced breakfast that was a form you filled out the night before. You could tick as much as you want as long as it fitted on the tray they brought up in the morning. The breakfast was great, toast, boiled eggs, omlet, muffins, lemon cake, chocolate cake, fruit cake, cereals. The drinks were, orange juice, apricot juice, coffee but small cups not like the british or americans like, tea and hot chocolate. The menu was changing everyday. The first couple of days i was enjoying the hot chocolate until they started charging €3 for it. Sometimes stuff was taken off the menu then was back on. It was on time almost all the time. But all these complaints is due to the pandemic if it wasn't i wouldn't be complaining. The hotel is very clean inside and out, they make the beds and change the towels regularly. The hotel staff were very friendly and talkitive especially the guy who worked the night shifts. The room we had had the biggest balcony, some of the other rooms don't have balconies. I would recommend this hotel, but probably best to wait when the pandemic is over.

Booked into here late evening as unable to make flight, next to the central station,. Not my first choice but it came down to availability, A somewhat tired hotel to say the least, in serious need of refurbishment, the pictures shown on booking sites show a idealised view, The hotel is on the gloomier side of the station, pretty much old school district, no glossy hotels here, or restaurants ,, or bars,, but easy to get to,. The staff ,, mainly Chinese, are best described as restrained, not overly friendly, but certainly not rude, On the plus side I found the beds ok,,, pillows rather hard,, good clean sheets and towels, plenty of hot water, and the maid did a good job of keeping our room clean ,,

I was with my boyfriend here. Is a quit and nice hotel, near the Pasteur metro station. Stuff very kind. We arrived at 1 o’clock and receive a room. The problem was that in a corner was wet on the wall and stincked. Next day I asked for another room and they gave me. This one was perfect, very clean, hot, no wet on walls. Every day changed the towels and clean the room. In front there is an auchan market. Rooms don’t have hair dryer. Breakfast was ok, cheese salami Nutella gem tee coffee croissant butter and yougurt milk and cereals. Is ok to spend some nights here.

Definitely wouldn't stay here again. Visited the place in the summer of 2019, was instantly met by a receptionist who seemed very dodgy. Had some problems with the payment and the man seemed to make fun of me while we were trying to resolve the problem. The building appears to be old and is quite out of the way from the city centre. My room had broken shutters, toilet was not pleasant either. The bed was not comfortable and you had one pillow, if you could even call it that. The strangest thing that occurred to me was, as i was about to leave the premises to go get some food with my partner, we were asked to leave the key to our room behind?? Upon our return, it was obvious that someone came into the room to tidy it up as our stuff were moved, although to be clear- nothing was taken. Nevertheless, did it once but did not do it again during the stay as it felt unsafe and completely not trustworthy. Would not recommend the place, ESPECIALLY for the price it is at. You can easily find something closer to the centre and somewhere where you can feel safe when you stay.

Milan Stazione Centrale
Surprisingly good! Very close to the Central Railway Station, across the square, and walk about 100 meters ahead on the right street. The rooms are large and the front desk is friendly. We went to the Notre Dame early in the morning and came back at 10 o'clock to return to the hotel for breakfast. Breakfast was good. Children will be charged € 50 for extra beds and € 20 for shared beds.

Location is very remote with no shopping and limited restaurant and fast food. Even though there is a subway station nearby but you might have to prepare spending hefty taxi charges if you intend to go around town without getting tired. It's a very simple hotel with basic service and food and I don't complaint much for the price.

Porta Venzia
The hotel creates a good impression when you arrive, bright and elegant. It is right by Lima station with a variety of shops around and a short walk from Central Station so very convenient. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful and the bedroom well appointed with very good sound proofing so you have the advantage of a busy area without the noise! The Spa suite is very well set out. I just wished the swimming pool was not so warm....but the jets are refreshing. Excellent breakfast which includes hot savoury dishes. The only draw back was the cord for the net curtains being hidden within the curtains, from the snagging at the top I was not the first person to not be able to find it at first and open the curtains to fully to get onto the pleasant little balcony. The calm hotel was especially appreciated at the virus was causing a lot of panic and unfortunately I had to cut short my stay.

Suite space is huge! The balcony is also large, the breakfast is good, and I feel tired after staying for 4 days. It is about ten minutes walk from the subway station, and it is relatively quiet nearby. The hotel can provide a taxi service. Do not use Uber or the hotel shuttle bus to the airport. It's expensive, just ask the front desk to call you a car. The cars you call are all regular operations. They are very enthusiastic. It costs 20 euros to Linate Airport and 35 euros to Uber.

Anything is good . But only one thing is unacceptable. My 4 days booking was cancelled as next day check -in. I need to book another room for another 3 days and they said there are a luxury room only that is available and it is very expensive for me .finally, I used to book a premier room with a comfortable price immediately.i don’t know is it 5 stars hotel service in Italy. Very awful experience for me.thanks for I can get the partial refund.

My family enjoy the stay in this hotel because of the clean and comfortable room and bed. The location is not very near to city centre however no issue with transport to go to the city centre. The hotel breakfast was specially arranged for our group because we have to leave at 6am to go to the airport.
