0.05km from Cafe MooyI recently stayed here with my boyfriend for 3 nights. We were originally supposed to be away in May, however due to Covid, we had to move our holiday, which was easy, just a few emails. The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Train station, and in the city centre, meaning most places you are able to walk to within a max of 30 minutes. Although saying that, it is very peaceful and safe. The hotel is very modern and the staff are lovely. The only issue we found was that the breakfast was very bland and not much to choose from, which was abit disappointing when we was expecting a full english. However I am not sure if that was something to do with Covid and limited menus. Our flight landed at 6am and we couldn't check in until 2pm which was a long stent, it would of been nice to check in and have a nap before starting the day. Never the less they held our luggage both on arrival and departure. Loads of restaurants nearby. I would recommend.

0.05km from Cafe MooyWe were due to stay here next weekend but because of Coronavirus we can not physically get to Amsterdam. We explained the situation and asked to move our date in accordance with the airline’s option and we were told no. In times of a global crisis it is morally wrong to take hundreds of pounds off someone when they have no control over it. Amsterdam is also on lockdown so they should be shut anyway but he has said he is still open which is putting his staff at risk. If he has any guests it is probably because they didn’t want to lose their money and also he will be renting out the rooms (like ours) again which he has already got paid for. His attitude was disgusting, I understand he has a business and so I thought it would be fair to rebook for another weekend so he can still keep the money but what he has done is horrible. He even had the cheek to say he would discount 35% if I booked with him again!! His hotel should be boycotted for his actions during this pandemic. Disgusting behaviour and the worst customer service I have experienced.
0.08km from Cafe MooyA perfect location right in amongst it and a 5 minute walk from Centraal Station. Check in/out really easy and the reception is occupied 24/7. You have to give your key in every time you leave which can be slightly annoying but no big deal. The rooms are so basic but ours (number 6) was big enough, clean enough and we hardly heard any noise. Check out is at 11am, however at 10:20 someone knocked on the door to tell us.... found this a bit patronising as we are in our 30’s and not teenagers getting ready for school. Quite expensive for what it is but then Amsterdam always has been. I would definitely stay here again due to location.
0.09km from Cafe MooyLocation is OK, close to the train station. But there are too many mosquitoes on the first floor of the hotel. In winter, the bag was bitten in the middle of the night and called the front desk to solve it. The next night, it was killed by the mosquito. Then I called the front desk the next night and shouted, he said: no shout, I will give you a spray. I did n’t dare to spray too much, and it was poisonous to myself. Then I slept under the quilt all night. Catch the plane the next day, forget it! Will never live here again, the price is not low, about 500 on Ctrip, and paid about 25 euros in taxes and other miscellaneous fees at the store. No WiFi, 3 Euros a day. In short, this shop is not recommended.
0.09km from Cafe MooyThe counter staff is very kind and friendly. Although there is no elevator, it will help to carry luggage. The price of the hotel is really cheap compared with other hotels. Every day, towels and garbage are changed. Although no air-conditioning is the only shortcoming, but for a girl alone In terms of travel, all aspects are very safe, it is recommended here! I will come again next time!

0.1km from Cafe MooyHotel Manofa is ideal for a short trip to Amsterdam. In is on Damrak, the central street, making it very easy to get anywhere with a short walk, which is ideal to pack lots in. The hotel itself is up a flight of stairs, so not particularly accessible for people with wheelchairs and has no lifts for access. However, for people looking to explore Amsterdam on foot, this hotel is ideal. It has single rooms for business travellers or friends. For a 2 star hotel it exceeds expectations. The room has illustrations of Amsterdam's canal houses and has a bedside table, a small wooden block, table to hold a suitcase, wardrobe and private shower room. This is small but towels and shower mats are provided. Each day the room was made up with fresh towels even without asking. For a 3 night stay, this allowed lie-ins and the hotel was not strict about 11am departure and allowed luggage to be left and guarded after check-out. The bed was comfortable, although a little wobbly, but this didn't detract from sleep. I had a view of the central street but the room was well soundproofed. The reception area had a vending machine with water and other drinks as well as a bean to cup coffee machine, which made a lovely espresso for guests to enjoy without charge. the reception staff were all very friendly and helpful and recommended places to go and gave great directions on the map. Will stay there again next time. Booking.com included a free taxi to the hotel, which required finding the Booking.com staff at the meeting point.
0.1km from Cafe MooyStaff were friendly and the location is great. But the room wasnt. Very small, the bathroom had the gone off water smell all the time and the cleaners left the water running after they had cleaned it. We asked for 1 extra pillow as I have back problems and was told no. There wasn't an explanation or anything just no. So I had to use towels and cloths to prop up the pillow. There is 1 very narrow flight of stairs you have to walk up but then there is a lift to the other 3 floors. Probably won't book this hotel again.
0.1km from Cafe MooyThe location is very good, walking distance to the Grand Palace, Dam Square, Central Railway Station and the Red Light District. The next authentic entrance to the hotel is the public parking lot. Buying a parking ticket at the front desk of the hotel is cheaper than buying it yourself. As long as 30 euros a night, there is a supermarket near the store, it is convenient to eat and eat. The service was quite satisfactory. The 323 euros for one night gave the room to the attic on the 6th floor of the top floor. It was worthless because the roof of the top floor was sloping, the window was small like a prison, and it was only able to look up at the sky and not see the street. I don't know if it was because of the reason for booking through Ctrip. The breakfast content is very small, the basic configuration of the Western style, do not expect too high, full of food, and the breakfast coupons on the table when you go out, after cleaning the room, you will find it disappeared, try to go to the front desk, or give it another. Therefore, it is recommended that important things should be locked even if they are placed in a room. Amsterdam is a big city. Everyone has to pay attention to safety.
0.11km from Cafe MooyGreat hotel in the middle of the res light district . Can’t ask for much more than that .it was spotless too and good selection of TV channels in the room . Cozy beds and not much street noise too . 10/10
0.11km from Cafe MooyA really creative hotel with each room telling a different story. Would definitely recommend for its individuality. Finding your room is also part of the fun, with a rabbit warren of little corridors and stairs - feels like you’ve gone through the looking glass! Rooms themselves are clean, warm and with good amenities. Shower gel, shampoo etc. Great cafe as well for morning coffee and pastries. Staff really helpful and friendly. Can’t fault!
0.11km from Cafe MooyWe stayed at Kimpton De Witt for 3 nights in February and our overall experience was very positive. The hotel is located 5-10 minutes away from Amsterdam Centraal so it’s very easy to get to if you’re arriving from Schiphol or by Eurostar. The main attractions in Amsterdam are all within walking distance for the most part but the tram is another option for exploring the city too. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a large supermarket just a few minutes away. The hotel felt very clean (both the guest rooms and public areas) and it looked like it had been renovated quite recently. The rooms are very well equipped and include things like umbrellas which are very useful if you’re visiting in February! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked with shower gel, soap, etc. There was a note in the bathroom which said that they are able to supply things like toothbrushes, shavers and all sorts of other things if you have forgotten them. They even supplied flannels which I was very grateful for - I can’t remember the last time I stayed at a hotel which provided these. There is an on-site restaurant although this is currently being renovated so we were not able to eat there during our stay unfortunately. They do have a separate bar area which serves food too though and this was very good. There is also the option for 24 hour room service but this is not something we tried during our stay. The staff were very good but it was the reception staff who stood out as being particularly helpful and welcoming. If you’re looking for a hotel in central Amsterdam then I would highly recommend Kimpton De Witt. The hotel has all of the things you would expect for a very good quality hotel with a number of extra little things added in which make your stay relaxing, enjoyable and memorable.

Hotels Near Cafe Mooy In Amsterdam Review
Amsterdam Oud Zuid
When booking the hotel, both of my friends and my friends clearly saw that it stated on Ctrip that it was less than two kilometers from Amsterdam Central Station. As a result, when I got off the train and looked at the map, I was about to leave the city of Amsterdam. The traffic was very inconvenient! ! ! It's really inconvenient! ! It takes more than an hour to get to the city center every day. The hotel is remote. If you plan to spend late in the city center every day, the suggestion is to book a hotel near the city. The night is a bit scary.
The Moevenpick Hotel offers a great view over the old town and is convenient accessable by train, tram, ship and car. I arrive on a rainy morning and was please with the friendly welcome by the Fornt Office Manager Mr. John Caucian who went the extra mile to make me feel special. This is very rare these days in a big hotel. He explained the Corona meassures, gave me tips for the town and a arranged a dining table and took time explain the views from my room in the 18th floor and the use the gym. All in a very polite and charming way. Next morning I got a personal welcome from the Manager during my breakfast. This personal service make me feel very special. Together with the clean and comfi room and for sure makes me coming back next time. Well done - Top service, great rooms and a very good location.
Amsterdam Oud Zuid
Overall, the hotel is nice and well located, surrounded by the main museums. There is plenty space in the bedroom. The furnituries are new as well as the bed, bed clothes and comforters. I would say that the room where I stayed was bad illumintated. My only complain is that the hotel did not enforcement what his staff said to me about the breakfast price. It was offered to me for 8 euros per person per day. When I made my check out I was obliged to pay 18 euros per person per day. To me it seems to be a normal practise at that hotel, since I did not see any token saying the breakfast price. Be aware too, when you are making your check out, the hotel will charge city taxe of you. In my case I had to pay 50 euros.
The location of the hotel is good. It is about a minute walk from the tram stop (No. 17), but the location is not in the city center, and it is quite convenient to take the tram. The service staff is very good and provide a lot of assistance. The breakfast provided by the hotel is also good, with a variety of drinks and bread. Since we only have one day of accommodation, we asked if we could leave our luggage when we checked out, and the hotel would be happy to help provide space for us! This is great! No need to run around with your luggage! It ’s just that some of the hot water bottles in the room do n’t work, and the bathroom hair dryers do n’t work either. But overall the price is very high! Cheap and convenient! If you come to Amsterdam next time, you should still stay here! Pretty recommended! The room is quite big overall!
I had another short break at the start of March in Amsterdam and once again stayed at this wonderful hotel. As always my stay was flawless from start to finish. The reception staff were so welcoming and friendly and my check in was handled swiftly and efficiently. Every member of staff, from my contact booking the room, the concierges, breakfast staff and even staff in passing are so helpful and cheerful. My room was immaculate and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable and an excellent bed. Every amenity has been thoughtfully taken care of. The hotel could not be better located for staying in Amsterdam. Although right on busy and lively Dam Square, once inside it is tranquil and elegant throughout. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I am looking forward to returning very soon when the current travel restrictions are no longer in place. I wish everyone at the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky well at this difficult time.
We stayed in this hotel during the Christmas holidays period for 2 nights and chose it due to it being very affordable and not far in distance from the city centre. Upon first arriving, we had to change rooms straight away after receiving a room without a shower head (so just the hose with no attachment..). However, this was quickly resolved by reception and we were moved immediately to another room on another floor with no problems in that room. The rooms are nice and big enough for a short stay, everything being clean and comfortable enough with lots of storage space for luggage etc. The hotel is a little bit of a distance from the centre... I would say about a 10/15 minute walk to the tram and then once you're on the tram depending where you want to go not too long... The travel from the train station from the airport was quite a distance, I think I remember this being about half an hour, but nothing too difficult. Overall, the stay was nice and is fine if willing to travel a little longer everyday to the centre, however I think because we were only on a short 3 day trip, staying somewhere closer would have saved a little bit of time. Also, if flight isn't until later on in the day and you want to explore still after checkout hours (which are early), the hotel keep your luggage which you can come back and collect when ready which is helpful, had no issues with using this service
