|1.12km from city centerThis hotel is beautiful! We loved staying here for a night in March. The included breakfast was one of the best I had while visiting Finland. It had a great selection of fresh food and the dining area was nice. Our sauna in our room was the major reason I booked this hotel, and it was well worth it. Even though it was winter and snowing outside, the balcony was a great feature. After having the sauna on for a while, the room got pretty hot, so I got to open the doors and feel the icy air come into the room. So relaxing. One thing that got old was the videos of the other resorts on repeat in the elevator and dining area. We loved the Sami music playing in the room upon check in though. It was a great touch.

|5.35km from city centerThe hotel is not in the city center but it takes more than 20 minutes by bus, opposite is the forest. The room is on the first floor, the windows can be locked, there is no kettle, it may be borrowed at the front desk, the room is not large, the water heater may not be the conventional method of opening and closing, so I do n’t know if the phone came in at night and asked if I knew the front desk number Is n’t that because they do n’t use this water heater ... Breakfast is good and the sun is plentiful.

|0.55km from city centerThis is an excellent hotel in all respects. The first room we were given was a little small, with an uninspiring view over the internal courtyard, but when we expressed our disappointment at reception, we were moved to a larger room with a view over Helsinki Cathedral. My elderly father was also given a free upgrade to a room more suited to his mobility problems, all this thanks to the kindness and efficiency of the receptionist Anita McRae, who also gave us some very useful practical tourist advice. There is both a sauna and the gym and three lifts so you never have to wait too long. The hotel beds were super comfortable and the rooms fully soundproofed. Each room had a good iron and ironing board, which was very useful. The hotel is in a perfect position just five minutes walk from the main railway station and near to all the major sights. It is also very close to numerous restaurants, and dinner at the hotel restaurant itself was good. Breakfast was varied and tasty. Only a couple of very small negative points: there is not much storage space in the wardrobes and the windows could do with a clean. The restaurant also closed a little early. Otherwise an all-round very positive experience.

|5.34km from city centerFully automatic haha, there are many such unmanned apartments in Finland. I like them, especially the elevators, the doors that pull out, the rooms are very design, and the location is remote. It ’s in the suburbs, but Helsinki is so big. Sit Subway to city center for a while

|1.55km from city centerMy strongest recommendation of a very comfortalbe and pleasant hotel. Rooms are really pleasant and mine had the nicest view to the harbour, nice bed, bath facilitets and little office table for working in the evening. Just perfect. Gym is excellent, as it really a gym club, wtih all facilities. Great breakfast buffet, e.g. with freshmade omleets and nice selection of food. Missed a good cappuchino though, and a wider selcetion og fresh fruit. Generally such a nice stay.

|10.26km from city centerThe Aalto Inn is great for a long-term stay but a nightmare for just a few days. It is NOT a hotel! There is no reception, no restaurant, no bar, no pool, no nothing! No shower soap or shampoo, no amenities. Nobody cleans it each day, and the towels and sheets you start with are the only ones you'll get! But the rooms are large and clean, with a decent kitchen with microwave, fridge, coffee pot, water cooker, utensils, pots, pans, and dishes. Good apartment, not a hotel. You MUST make sure that you get the emailed instructions before hand. These include a punch code to get in the front door and extract your room key from a weird device on the wall. Since I booked through a third-party website those did not arrive. I was literally standing outside in the snow, with no way to get in and nobody to call. Eventually another guest let me in and somehow we found a number to call, and I got into my room - after an hour! Another thing separating Aalto from a real hotel - you must clean up yourself, before you leave. Do the dishes and take out the trash - yes mommy.... But otherwise, pretty good! BTW, walk across the bridge to Min Sushi - wonderful!

|1.53km from city centerYou can relax on the large terrace outside, and the hospitality of the reception is very good. The quality of breakfast is very good and prices and eating out are good.
In Scandinavia, which is very expensive, it is best to get good nutrition at the hotel breakfast.
The only drawback is that it can be said for all Finnish hotels, but since the shower door is open, at first
If I put a towel on the outside of the door without knowing it, it would get wet.
It is better to put the foot towel outside the shower room and take a shower.

|0.28km from city centerAmazing hospitality by ANNA at the breakfast restaurant. She was constantly attending all guest that arrived. Was seen interacting with them and making sure they enjoyed their experience. Since i really needed something to detox. She promoted the ligonberry jucie and the healthy berry shot. She also advised me to have the infused water with cucumber. Constantly kept checking on me if i needed anything else. Tables were kept neat and clean throughout. She even took orders for coffee and served me at the table. I was thoroughly impressed by her gesture and hospitality. I would like to thank her for making this experience wonderful and its a great start of the day. Please give her my regards. Thank you ANNA once again

|0.46km from city centerHotel is located one minute away from railway station, you don´t even have to walk outside if you come via train. From station you can travel easily to Helsinki Centrum, or other direction to airport.(or north) We had room in 6´th floor, windows away from station. We didnt´t hear traffic noise. Room was small, but not too small. Two beds(average), blankets good. Toilet and shower small but ok. Room also had oven if you need that. We didn´t see any personnel, even I think there was someone few hours a day in lobby? We didn´t have breakfast, and don´t know if there was any. But in railway station/mall there are a lot of places where to have breakfast, or food, etc. Room was clean and quite classy. Absolutely worth of that price.

|0.62km from city centerGLO Hotel Kluuvi is an excellent choice for a weekend in Helsinki. First reason is location. 7-10 min walk from the central train station, trams right outside the door, numerous restaurants next door, 5 min walk to the cathedral and 7-10 min walk to market square. Second reason is the price. We stayed in shoulder season, and payed about $150 per night including taxes and fees, internet and breakfast. Third reason is breakfast. Hotel breakfast saves you money, but it’s even better when it’s good. Their buffet offered hot foods (eggs, bacon, sausages and veggies), cereals, cheese, meat, breads, fruit, coffee/tea, and even custom juice from a dispenser controlled by an iPad app. They also had special dietary options including gluten free and lactose free. Fourth reason is the rooms. They were comfortable and spacious with all needed amenities. Overall we are thrilled with our choice to stay at GLO and would stay again.

|0.92km from city centerThere are vacations you take, hotels you stay in and people you meet who enhance the overall experience exponentially. This was all true of our exceptional time in Helsinki and a large part of this experience was owed to our wonderful 3-day stay at Hotel F6. A large amount of this is owed to the sterling staff -- among the elites in all our travels. Our story started a day before our actual stay, when we requested to store extra luggage before our overnight trip to Tallinn, Estonia. Without hesitation, the staff agreed to watch over our large luggage for free before our actual check-in the next day. This kind act greatly helped us during our mini cruise to Estonia. The following day, during our check-in, we met Ida, who became not only our Helsinki dining expert, but also a great person to get to know all around. Ida helped secure every reservation for our culinary journey from the first night. She is an exceptional employee and a great asset to an already amazing staff. We thank her for making our stay at F6 so comfortable and fun. Eimer was also friendly and full of help for restaurant ideas. We appreciate his fun demeanor and fun conversation. Our room was very conveniently located on the first level -- very spacious, clean and so easy to come and go. The hotel layout, especially the lobby and dining/lounge area were easy to access. The complimentary breakfast was fresh, well presented and very flavorful. Perhaps the best breakfast in town. Is this the best hotel in Helsinki? Let's just say the competition is slim. :-)

Helsinki
|0.98km from city center1 / 24-1 / 28, came to visit this city.
1. Hotel traffic: Take the light rail to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport to the Central Railway Station, get off at the terminal (Central Railway Station), about 30 minutes, the ticket is 4.1 Euro; if the luggage is not too heavy, you can walk to the hotel, about 20 Minutes, 1.5 kilometers away, via the National Museum of Finland, the main library of the University of Helsinki.
2. Hotel facilities: clean and simple, typical Scandinavian style, the bed is very soft; remind two points: a) the hotel does not provide a kettle, slippers; b) long-haired girls suggest to bring a hair dryer, the hotel's hair dryer power is small;
3. Breakfast at the hotel: Breakfast is rich in variety, both cold and hot. The hotel provides oatmeal and pickles for friends who are not used to western food. If you are not used to eating cold food for breakfast, there is a microwave oven on the side and you can heat it by yourself. ;
4. Hotel services: The front desk and room attendants are very enthusiastic and friendly, and they also know how to protect the privacy of guests. One reminder: a) If you need to provide room cleaning and finishing services, you must hang the service tag on the door handle;
5. Around the hotel: The city of Helsinki is not big, the hotel can be reached on foot from various attractions, about 20-30 minutes, friends who do not want to hike, there is a taxi at the entrance of the hotel, the bus station is on the side; if you need to buy daily necessities / Food / fruit, there is a large supermarket K-supermarket on the way from the Central Railway Station (mentioned above) to the hotel;
This is a good value hotel, I hope the content I wrote can help you a little.

We stayed in the basic room facing the road & slept blissfully all nights. The Marski has the best best breakfast spread I have ever seen in a hotel in all my 27 years of travel. They have options for every kind of guest. It's unbelievably thoughtful Though we didn't go to the bar, it was packed most evenings with DJ music playing & gave the hotel a lively atmosphere

|0.6km from city centerOn an upper floor of the building with the sign City Forum Hostel above its building entrance, it was an ok 3-night stay at this place in an 8-bed dorm room (with a nice addition of a small two-shelf piece in my bed) with also a spacious ”common room” (with long comfortable sofa chairs & also some nice-sized tables). So yes, with the place itself just an average one, the best part of the stay here I would say is its proximity to ”all the essentials”: for sightseeing with just about a 10-minute walk to the ”downtown waterfront” where to visit are the city's ”premier sites” (Helsinki Cathedral, Uspenski Cathedral, SkyWheel Helsinki & the tent-market) and yes where there's also the ferry dock to the Suomenlinna Sea Fortress; for shopping with just about a 5-minute walk to the two big shopping malls (Stockmann just across the main street and Forum to the left on the main street without crossing it); and for food with really quite a number of places to eat right around here (including the two McDonald's in & around the Forum Mall and the ”pretty nice” buffet restaurant called Luckiefun's for Chinese & Japanese food).

|4.83km from city centerA very cost-effective hotel near the airport local transfer, booked this hotel, there is a bus 🚌 direct access, the location is a bit biased. The winter night in northern Europe is long, about ten minutes walk from the nearby shopping point. There is a supermarket, bought some milk and bread.
There is a separate kitchen table in the room for cooking by yourself.
Suitable for backpackers traveling alone and cheap.
The hotel has a shuttle bus to the airport in the morning.

The rooms are brand new, every detail is thought out & top notch: the hangers in the towels, body lotion, steamer on the shelf, capsule coffee machine in Standard room, blackout curtains! All of these details really matters. The hotel is located right in the downtown area in walking distance to every interesting location you would like to visit. We had a fantastic Xmas dinner in the hotel restaurant: excellent food & serving! Did check out the welcome corner with flavored water & very tasty jellies – this is something incredible!.. The table football is located right in the lobby – it was real fun to play after perfect dinner! Special thank you for staff member Mira & the blond guy at FO desk – they are wow! We’ll come back definitely! See you soon Radisson Red!
