Hotels Near Cafe Sax In Munich
0.05km from Cafe SaxWe stayed at the beautiful Hotel Olympic in December 2019. It is a small, cozy, bed and breakfast with the most excellent and friendly staff! Our stay was made extra special by Andreas (at the front desk). Andreas was extremely welcoming, and told us all about the wonderful neighborhood...including a recommendation of a walking tour. He was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and kind. The hotel has an art exhibit throughout that they change every month or two. The room we were in was beautiful, with a balcony into the courtyard, it was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Breakfast was wonderful with local, organic foods, and Andreas explained to us what everything was and where it had been procured. He also came around, personally, to make sure we were happy and brought us fresh pretzels...this was after he escorted us to the beautiful table with a couch and window into the courtyard. The location was perfect for walking to the Viktualienmarkt and to Marienplatz as well as other central old town sites. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Munich.
0.33km from Cafe SaxUsually, I love unique settings and progressive projects. Still, I'm convinced this has not to affect comfort and fucntionality. Which was not my experience. This hotel is located in a trendy and accessible area, 10 min walking from the Viktualien market. The sorroundigs are full of nice restaurants, cafè and trendy stores. Rooms are at the 4° floor of a quite anonymous building. The check-in took very long as it's made through a laptop that couldn't validate my credit card. The room I've been given was so small it barely fit my baggage! no workdesk, no closet, no fridge... just a bed and a washbasin, the shower and the toilet in a separated "room". I'd say 6 sq. meters altogether. It was adjacent to the bar, which was quite crowded that friday night, so I heard the noise all through the night with people trying to get into my balcony to smoke. Breakfast is served in the same bar and consists in a self-service tray of croissants, coffe from the machine, a couple of bottles of juices from a bowl, bread and marmelades. Definitely awful for an hotel breakfast. At the check-out, nobody showed up at the desk, and I had to leave the hotel without even been given the keys to the garage. That made me late for my flight. All that at the not-so-cheap rate of 180€! Sorry, when I'm travelling for work I need another level of comfort and service.

0.38km from Cafe SaxWe stayed here during the Christmas Markets. It was an easy walk from the Salingertor Station (be sure to use the correct exit which has an up escalator but no down escalator). There is a lot of construction in the area and heavy traffic,so exiting on the correct exit is a must! Coming from the airport with luggage, exit the metro car at Marinplatz and change lines to one going to Salinger Tor station. It is an easy walk with no luggage but with luggage and the crowds at the market, we decided to change lines. The check in was easy and friendly. Our prepaid reservation was without breakfast but they did have it available as well as a nice small bar. The elevator is very small but it held both of us and our luggage which is very small. The room was filled with charming antique furniture so if you want new and matching, this is not for you. The room was clean and the linens were nice. Our only complaint was the soap/body wash/shampoo was limited. We asked for more and received it with no problem. The gentleman at the front desk remembered our name and room number each time we saw him, even when we checked out for a few days and returned for a second stay. It is close to everything but away from the craziness.

0.4km from Cafe SaxIt is a very simple and ordinary small hotel with small rooms and small beds and toilets, but it is very clean and the transportation is convenient. The price is very good in Munich. The attitude of the front desk is very good, because there are rooms available, the front desk let us check in early. The room is not equipped with a kettle and disposable toiletries, as most European hotels do, you can bring your own if you need it.
0.51km from Cafe SaxYou dont get a luxury experience here. But what you get, is a bed, a clean room, and a location VERY close to were all the fun is. Parking is difficult and quite expensive, so another time I would maybe park further away, and take the train or bus to the hotel. I did not buy the breakfast buffet there, because the area is full of cafes and bakerys.
0.52km from Cafe SaxGood location, very close to the Marienplatz. The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is 9.8 Euro/person for the outside staff and 8 Euro/person for the guest, and sometimes a breakfast coupon is given. The downside is that the elevator is parked in the middle of the two floors, and the luggage needs to move up half a floor. The car park is a paid car park a few hundred meters away. The two-person room cannot accommodate an extra bed, but you can play the ground floor yourself.
0.54km from Cafe SaxHotel Blauer Bock is perfectly located for both business and leisure guests in Munich. The hotel offers a wide range of amenities and perks to ensure you have a great time. Facilities like free Wi-Fi in all rooms, 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, Wi-Fi in public areas, car park are readily available for you to enjoy. Guestrooms are designed to provide an optimal level of comfort with welcoming decor and some offering convenient amenities like internet access – wireless (complimentary), non smoking rooms, heating, desk, telephone. The hotel offers various recreational opportunities. No matter what your reasons are for visiting Munich, Hotel Blauer Bock will make you feel instantly at home.
0.54km from Cafe SaxMy boyfriend and I recently stayed at this hotel while we were in Munich to see the Christmas markets. The hotel's very convenient to the train station -- it's an easy walk of a mile or so. It's also convenient to the Christmas markets; the few stalls at Senlinger Tor are very close, and it doesn't take long to get to the markets at Marienplatz. The hotel is very modern and clean. Bedrooms seem to be on the smallish side; there's not a lot of room to maneuver around the bed(s). But bathrooms are a decent size. We didn't try the breakfast, which seemed rather expensive (19 Euro per person!). But there are many restaurants and stores nearby where you can purchase food. All rooms are several floors up (the lobby is up a flight from the ground floor, and guest rooms start on the floor above that), so there's virtually no street noise even though the hotel's located in a fairly busy pedestrian area.

0.55km from Cafe SaxAmazing location (5 minutes away from Marienplatz) and everything within walking distance. MRT also 5 minutes away by foot.
The breakfast in the hotel is simple but lovely, with fresh coffee on the table, and teabags too.
Old but clean hotel, with a hairdryer on request in the room, and shower gel / shampoo. If anything the hotel room was dated & cold, but there were extra duvets in the cupboard

0.6km from Cafe SaxThe location is quite close to the main tourist attractions and is very close to the nearest Ubahn station, which was convenient. With the window closed, it was very quiet even though it's on a very bust street. Room was a very nice size and quite clean. Bathroom was also a nice size with all amenities. Beds were quite comfortable. There is an elevator as well, although very tiny, which was handy. On the down side, VERY HARD TO FIND!! VERY CONFUSING! I'm not sure why, but the place you check in is totally around the other side of the street to where you actually stay! You can't access the front desk or breakfast room from where your room is. We had a very hard time finding the correct location. It was quite inconvenient. It's also right in the middle of a very busy street. They were also doing construction right outside our window. But thank goodness for good German engineering on the windows! When it was kept closed, we didn't hear a thing. The only bad thing was, it did get very warm and stuffy with the window closed. We didn't try the breakfast so I'm not sure how it was, but the front desk staff was friendly and helpful nonetheless.
0.61km from Cafe SaxIn good faith and with the joyful expectation of a long awaited family vacation we made plans back in early February to stay at the Hotel Exquisit for the final night of a family trip on September 20. At the time of our booking, we paid $1,179 in good faith using the “non-refundable” price (which saved us maybe $150 at the time). Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus, the German government prohibited our entry as US citizens into the country and all of our flights were canceled making our stay impossible. After working with Hotels.com and calling and emailing the hotel directly multiple times over the course of several months, the hotel has REFUSED TO work with us or REFUND ANY PORTION of our payment. We have been told that our request hdd been passed on to the hotel’s managers, Maria Sperger-Bolla and Ivan Bolla, but they have failed to ever respond to us. Out of the 50 reservations that we have had to adjust this year, the Hotel Exquisit is the ONLY one that has refused any type of refund or response due to COVID cancellations. We may never be able to go to Munich, but if we ever do get the opportunity WE WILL DEFINITELY NOT stay at the Hotel Exquisit and we recommend that you don’t either. Their example is NOT an “Exquisit” experience in any way other than a disappointing one. Support businesses with integrity instead.
Hotels Near Cafe Sax In Munich Review
The hotel is very good, there is a small courtyard to sit and drink beer, the room is clean and tidy. The traffic is also very convenient. The tramway is not far from the tram street station. It takes 5 minutes to go to the central station three stations. There is a supermarket and dm daily opposite the road, very good
Very close to the subway station. There are also supermarkets nearby. But the room is small, small, small. Triple room o(╥_╥)o Street front, noisy at night. There is air conditioning, but not enough. Opening the window is noisy and feels unsafe.
The hotel is in the old town, suitable for shopping and shopping. The room facilities are in the old town. The breakfast is a simple German breakfast, bread, sausage, fruit and cheese. The freshly squeezed orange juice machine is good and tastes good. The hotel does not have its own car park, there is a public car park nearby, 20 Euros a day.
The platform booked a room with a sofa bed according to the hotel and platform information, and indicated that it is bringing children. After arriving at the store, the front desk didn't know if there were children staying. It was a bit unpleasant, but the problem was solved quickly. The price provided by Ctrip is particularly good. The breakfast is good. Hotel facilities are very new. Normal stay during the new crown period. Convenient parking, suitable for self-driving. The check-out procedure is simple.
It is in Munich at night, the hotel location is very close to the Munich train station, and it is a weekend, parking is very convenient (the hotel's parking lot is under maintenance, so temporarily parked on the side of the road near the hotel). The hotel rooms are quite large, clean and tidy, the equipment and furniture are very complete, and the service in the hotel lobby is very thoughtful and meticulous.
Traditional hotel chain, comfortable room, suitable for children. The hotel is 7-8 minutes walk from the subway station. Breakfast is very rich and suitable for travelling with children. The hotel’s gym is always available with a room card, but there are very few devices.
Large room Large room Large room Large room Large room Large room Large room Large room Large room Large room Large room Large room Large room Large room Large room Large room Large room Large The big room is big and it is the biggest house I have stayed in for a week! And the decoration is more Morden, I feel young friends will like it! The front desk attendant, the younger sister and the younger brother are very enthusiastic.
The hotel is four stations away from the central railway station, and the transportation is convenient. The hotel is about 100 meters away from the subway station. There are several bus lines in front of the hotel. There are many types of cheese, ham, and bread for breakfast.
There are three days to left Salzburg, the hotel can store luggage for free.
Very quiet, very comfortable, good experience, easy to find out of the train station, have a good surrounding environment, if you don't mind walking, you can go to the bus terminal and train station, surrounded by supermarkets, and food.
I arrived at the hotel at 18:30 and said that the room had not been waiting for 10 minutes. Then I was told that the room was full and I was arranged to live in another hotel 400 meters away. I have booked and confirmed it in late July. I don’t know Ctrip and the hotel. Confirmation is late or for other reasons, although the waiter's attitude is very sincere, but still very upset. For this reason, I also paid 3 hours of parking fees (2.50Euro/hr, 40.00Euro/day)😒 Note: The score is not objective because the hotel is not staying at the hotel.
The environment is good, the bathroom is not big, the use is quite convenient, the breakfast is better, the lack of air conditioning, the room is very hot during the day, only a small fan, the room TV is small, it seems that some are not used to it.
The internal environment of the hotel is good and the breakfast is very rich. Before going to bed, I found the room window was locked and it was noisy to close it. Called the room service, the other party said to send someone to deal with it, and then lost the following. German rigor, maybe just a legend, this review is not only for this hotel, haha😄
Should be a more upscale and comfortable hotel in my entire trip, check in the credit card to pay 25 yuan deposit, because I can not understand the word of the deposit, the black handsome young man at the front desk spent a long time explaining to me, and asked if I use The gym, I still don't understand, but my English is too bad. 25 yuan check-out in the afternoon to return to the credit card, parking down the downstairs parking lot, the passage is particularly narrow, easy to turn around the car, the charge is 20 euros a day, pay after check-out, there is a kettle and toiletries, the bed is very comfortable, no Everything else is good for breakfast, a little far from the attraction, about 2 kilometers. The price is good.
I stayed just one night with my wife and my son. We enjoyed our stay, rooms were clean and very quite, we appreciated the very comfortable beds. The location is very conveniente to visit the Munich city center, just 5 minutes away. Parking is available in a nearby public park garage (16 Euro/day). Breakfast was good - we will definitely come back the next time we will visit Munich!
breakfast-good room size-good mattress -good towels-soft room-nice& clean location is good close to subway room view is good Staff is friendly the only flaw is the pillow is too thick to sleep with，a bit thinner is better all in all this is a good hotel to stay ！
The location is very good, very close to the Deutsches Museum, passing through a green belt and a very beautiful river. And even walking to Munich city centre and Marianne Square is 20-30 minutes. And the separation of a river makes the hotel very quiet. And next to the hotel is an Audi 4S shop, you can go in and see the price of Audi in Germany, haha But I have to say that the conditions inside the room are really average. I am giving the room type with a loft inside the top floor. The bedroom was very small, and I could only put down a bed. I was very happy to see that the bedroom was pushed out and there was a large terrace. But then I found that the terrace was completely connected to the next door, which was not in line with the Chinese people’s habits. It also makes people feel unsafe. The air conditioning in the room is almost equal to the display, plus a few days just arrived in Munich, the sun is shining, it is very hot. So it is difficult to sleep at night. I don't know if it is only the top floor room type. This is an apartment-style hotel with a kitchen in the room. If you want to cook for yourself, it is very convenient. I don't know what it is. In the few days we stayed, we saw that almost half of the tourists in the hotel were Indians. The room area was full of curry.
This is a very cost-effective European hotel, the same price, better than the Marriott next door. First of all, the location is very convenient. It is 300 meters on foot from the subway station. The Lufthansa Express Bus at the airport is also at the entrance of the subway station. It can be 10 Euros from here to the airport, 15 minutes. The room was very good, I stayed in a superior room, but the facilities were great and new. There is a capsule coffee machine, there is a glass bottle of water (with a gas without a gas), there are bathrobe slippers, the towel is very thick. The room is very soundproof and the curtains are perfect. Room attendants are well trained and not as cold as most hotels. Book breakfast at the front desk for 26 Euros at check-in, which is a few dollars cheaper than direct signing. There are many kinds of fruits, a lot of fruits, and a handsome little brother will make you an egg roll.
We stayed at the Hotel Prinz in October, as we couldn’t praise the place enough. The staff we beyond friendly, always happy to help and offer suggestions on the location and Munich as a city. We have family in Munich so know the city pretty well, but even for us they helped us discover some hidden gems. We stayed for our wedding anniversary and booked a premium room, and whilst yes, people are correct to state no WiFi, there were plenty of windows in the room to allow a good breeze and altogether we found our room to be spacious and comfortable! Again thank you so much to everyone at the hotel, and I’m sure we will visit you again.
It is conveniently located near the Central Railway Station and has convenient transportation. Booked a room with breakfast, Continental breakfast is rich, Mini bar drinks are free. The hotel is designed in a modern minimalist style. Because it is near the train station, the surrounding environment is slightly general.
Hotel location is very good, there is an airport bus direct. The room was booked for a single room breakfast, the room was very clean and the shower water was hot. But be sure to bring your own slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, you can go to the surrounding supermarkets if you really don't bring them. There are more casinos and nightclubs nearby, and girls may have to be careful at night.
My boyfriend and I recently stayed at this hotel while we were in Munich to see the Christmas markets. The hotel's very convenient to the train station -- it's an easy walk of a mile or so. It's also convenient to the Christmas markets; the few stalls at Senlinger Tor are very close, and it doesn't take long to get to the markets at Marienplatz. The hotel is very modern and clean. The rooms are big and stunned, 3 times more than the average room. There is a sofa and there is a min kitchen. The restaurant is good around. Basically impeccable. Is the location is relatively biased, from the Reim and U2 subway station, walking 20 minutes, or transfer to the bus. There is also a supermarket within a 10-minute walk.
This hotel is located across the street from platform exit 5-36 of Munich Central Station, Germany. The location is very easy to find, it is very convenient to go, there are pizzerias around the door, dm, muller supermarket, it is very convenient to buy daily necessities, and the price is cheaper than domestic A lot, great! I like this hotel very much. Although the room is small, it is enough for a night out, the sanitation is clean and the service staff is very nice! Satisfied! Will come to live next time in Germany!
The hotel is within 10 minutes from the Central Railway Station, the location is ok, the hotel facilities are relatively old, especially the beds and bedding. Although the breakfast is not particularly rich, there should be everything, especially the green apple ravioli every day, favorite!
Very nice Ibis, the room is bigger and more new than other Ibis. There is a bar in the lobby downstairs where you can have a beer in the small garden. There is a big supermarket next to it, there is a bakery and coffee shop nearby, there is Tram at the door, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the subway.
Directly opposite the train station, it is very convenient, diagonally opposite is Sofitel. Very comfortable and quiet hotel, handsome guys at the front desk, very nice. The room is not bad, the hotel can give the child an extra bed free of charge. Breakfast is also very rich, the hotel restaurant is not open at noon, at 11 o'clock in the evening, Munich is still at 10 o'clock in the daytime, eating is too late, the meal is not expensive, it is much better than the Paulina on the edge of the hotel. The price is also reasonable. It is very convenient to go out.
We stayed here during the Christmas Markets. It was an easy walk from the Salingertor Station (be sure to use the correct exit which has an up escalator but no down escalator). Very good, health, service in place
Nice room with even a small fridge. Good bathroom size. Nice location near HBF. Clean and tidy with all you need.
This hotel is rather biased. When I went there, I didn't know why the Munich hotels were expensive and not suitable for us, so I looked for a hotel not too far from the subway station. But it's really far away from the city. I feel like going there for at least half an hour, and the Munich rail traffic is particularly crowded. It takes 1 hour to go to BMW! There were few people at night, but it felt safe, and there were many houses nearby. Buy a bus ticket, you can't go anywhere. There is a meat roll shop near the downstairs okay. There seems to be no serious restaurant nearby. There is a Burger King which is very low and did not go. There is a supermarket, which is not very cheap. Fortunately, it can be replenished. You have to buy some water and breakfast.
Facilities are similar to domestic express hotels, the room is half smaller! Two small single beds, a bit like a hotel in Hong Kong. However, it is clean, the chain is very formal, and living is OK. There is a kettle. I don't know why many hotels in Germany have not completely separated their baths, and they always get a lot of water out. The bathroom is Japanese, with a toilet in the small grid.
If there are no cheap hotels in the city, I would still stay here and take a train to the airport for more than an hour.
