Lovely bright clean and smart apartment, with (in our case) a nice view out to the church and flowerbeds beneath. The bed was large and the carpet was plush. The shower was hot and powerful. Service over the phone was friendly and well-organised. There were some downsides - the town centre location was very convenient and generally quiet, but on Friday and Saturday nights, the drunken youth of Falkirk made their presence felt as they used the busy taxi rank just outside. Closing the windows reduced the noise but at the expense of keeping the room warm, with no fan or aircon. The large first-floor windows looked out onto the top decks of passing buses, but unfortunately lacked net curtains or similar. An ironing board was available but only on request - it was brought the next day, which was later than we needed. The kitchen area with microwave and sink was appreciated but the food preparation area was very small - about the size of a chopping board. The fridge unfortunately only cooled items marginally, and our milk went off within a day or so. And there was something strange going on with the electrics - the bedside lamp flickered off when I moved around in bed. And the kettle actually started boiling in the middle of the night, disturbingly - seemingly the result of a lengthy power interruption coming to an end.

3 couples had a 2 night stay her while attending a wedding,First impressions very good arrived in the lounge after a drive from Edinburgh and had a few drinks in the lovely lounge. Nice decor and comfy seats, good bar prices for a hotel. We were in room 74 which looked like it was refurbished to a high standard. comfy bed, excellent power shower and large HD TV. Now I am always wary of hotel prices for food and to be honest had looked up surrounding places for dinner.Need,nt have bothered, a great menu here (3 courses for £13, really?) was excellent value and totally stuffed Chicken stuffed with haggis was very good(Vino £16 a bottle) Needless to say had an amazing night. Great service and atmosphere. Breakfast, buffett with loads of choices and quality produce, While all the staff were attentive, a special mention to the night porter who greeted you home with some chocolate before going to bed. What a refreshing change from some of the staff you find at the big chains. Well done guys, will be back

We stayed from Monday to Friday .all the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful we asked reception if it would be possible to have a lighter quilt or a couple of sheets as quilt was a winter one and was too hot ,we got back to room and they had provided extra sheets so thank you ,it was centrally located for local attractions ,one hour walk to kelpies and half hour walk to Falkirk wheel along the canal at side ,the only reason we've scored it four is because of the traffic noise which is no fault of the hotel but kept us awake quite a lot in the night when lorries were going by

I actually didn't stay at the hotel (unfortunately) but my son and husband did and said it was one of the best finds that I have ever got! The staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. Certainly would use again without hesitation. The female staff in particular were very friendly especially Stacey, however the male staff late evening were less friendly which was a little unfortunate. The hotel was exceptionally clean, good sized rooms and en-suite facilities. I would certainly highly recommend. This is a modern hotel with no restaurant facilities but plenty restaurants around. Very central. Not sure about conference facilities you would need to check.

Myself and my hubby had an overnight stay which was part of an it is on deal which included breakfast and a bottle of fizz. Arrival- we did arrive a bit early ( just after 1 on Friday the 7th) but thought we would go in and check as sometimes in last hotels you can get in earlier, there was a couple in front of us and we waited but we were asked quite abruptly, can I help you with a girl on the reception ( tied back black hair) when we said that we knew we were early but just wondered if the room was ready, again she was quite abrupt in saying that no rooms are guaranteed until after 3 but her attitude was just not nice for a first impression. We there for left at this point and made our way into the town, we were planning on eating at the hotel but after this we decided to eat in town. Anyway we came back after 8pm that night and were booked in by a lovely gentleman, total contrast to early in the day. Rooms- rooms were lovely and a great size, bed was very comfortable and a bottle of Prosecco also waiting. Breakfast - we went down to breakfast and we were greeted with a lovely lady who showed us to our table, tea was brought along with some OJ ( there was a choice ) and toast, we had some pastries , my only point to make here was the milk was not chilled for the cereal. We also had a full breakfast which was really nice, no complaints at all here. Location- we had to get a bus into town which cost £2 each and was a 10 min journey so close enough. Over all we would stay again here and would recommend just not the best first impression

Me,Lisa hall went to Scotland on January 11th Nd stayed in the premier inn Falkirk east hotel for the weekend Nd came away on the Monday the 13th. The weekend was a treat for my wife birthday which we then went and did a ghost hunt on the Saturday night at Bo’ness town hall then on the Sunday we spent the whole day with a very good friend looking around Linlithgow palace then on the evening we went to more friends for food, drinks on Sunday night. The premier inn was a very nice hotel we have stayed there a few times now the staff are very friendly and helpful and always make you feel welcome so we can not fault them in anyway and would definitely recommend people to stay here.

First time at this lodge and not disappointed. Room, bathroom, towels all very clean and great value for money. Adjacent restaurant was also great value. The friendly and helpful chap at reception, Roy, deserves a mention. I was booked for two nights. I only needed short quick access to internet. The room key wallet states " *30 minutes free per 24 - hour period 24 hour customer helpdesk 03306601141 " My first day 30 minutes was OK but there was no second day 30 minutes. Why not?

I totally agree this place should be advertised as a hostel, then I reckon it would get better reviews overall by the people who stay here. But based on the price paid, I had a decent sleep, had a tv, free wifi. Okay not great that it was a shared bathroom, however, shower was hot and very powerful. Have the use of the kitchen to make a meal. Room was spotless and lady at reception was lovely. Have stayed here before and would definetly stay again.

Had the absolute pleasure of stay here for 1 night on the 2nd November, travelled through from Glasgow, called ahead to check in early which wasn’t a problem. On check in, Stacey the receptionist was a real pleasure, so friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and bright with everything needed for an overnight stay. My husband wasn’t joining me until later in the evening due to work commitments and while waiting on my lift to a family party I needed safety pins, had the pleasure of meeting Scott the chef who took the time to help Stacey find these for me, nothing was to much trouble, both of them even took the time to engage in conversation with me making me feel more at ease as I was on my own at this point. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and keep up the good work Stacey and Scott, both a credit to the Helix

Stayed here for two nights whilst I visited my mum in Larbert village .The room was lovely on the first floor it was spotless ,comfortable bed and had hairdryer and tea making facilities .I opted for the cooked breakfast in the morning I was greeted by Bridie both mornings and what a friendly and polite lady she was. She asked me if I was allergic to anything and because of covid directed me to my table and took my order .The chef Gordon made a lovely breakfast and it was 5 star hot and fresh .I have to say all the staff made me feel so welcome nothing was a bother in such difficult times I would highly recommend this hotel handy location as well already planning my next family visit .

I stayed at MacDonald Inchyra with one of my friends for a midweek getaway. We chose this hotel as it had a spa. On arrival the hotel receptionist, Chelsea, was so friendly and helpful. It really did give the best start to our stay. The spa area was beautiful and the facilities were excellent. Following our time in the spa we went to the restaurant for dinner. The service was excellent and the food very tasty. Likewise, breakfast the next morning was also lovely. We really were impressed with this hotel and it was excellent value for money too. I have already recommended to others. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

Stayed at this Premier inn for 1 night on our way to a break in the highlands and it was pretty much everything you would expect from a Premier inn. Arrived very late after a ridiculously long journey to be greeted by a very friendly and helpful lady on the reception desk, I dont recall her name but she was working late (possibly overnight because she was there when we checked out the next day too) on Friday October 25th and she should get a Christmas bonus the room was pretty standard, not REALLY as clean as you would expect from a premier inn but clean enough and we got a good nights sleep. The following morning we had a PI breakfast at the adjoining pub and it was a little disappointing, not very hot and some items unavailable. This and the slight cleanliness issues take my rating down to a 3 but the friendly helpful receptionist pushes it back up to a 4. Would stay again
