Different experience. The boss is elegant and beautiful, and the appearance is also in the city, like Audrey Hepburn. Chinese and English are like their mother tongue, and they go to China School. The location is great. The air conditioner is not turned on during the day and there is a fan. I think this natural state is very comfortable, very healthy, and very close to Malay. First comment.

The room is very cosy. The toilet is built with see thru glass. The curtain is outside. So may not be convenient to stay with friends. Towel rack is abit too high for me. I stayed for 2nights. After checkin, the bedsheet is badly stained. But after feedback to reception, they quickly changed the bedsheet. So its fine. However, 2nd day, I requested for room makeup, they changed to 2 towels. Which is dirtier than the bedsheet ok the first day. My advise is to bring your own towel. The hotel is along the road. I did not experience very noisy commotion outside. But the hotel provides earplug if you are sensitive to noise. The television is not working. Has image but no audio. 4 channel only. Wifi is weak. Regardless, it is still a good hotel with good location. Small and cosy.

Liked · the location is good as its near the main penang street. bathroom is clean with new tiles installed and i can see the bathroom is kept clean. Disliked · first of all, i would like to complain about the room itself. the old furniture smeel from the wardrobe stinks the whole room. aircond is not cold. room 904 9th floor. it was literally at 16 degrees but it was not cold. next, the pillow provided is like ”sotong” (squid) where there is no cotton in. so lembik and i felt that the beggers out there has better pillows to sleep with. i mean, how can a 3 star hotel provide pillow that is worst than a 2 star shoplot hotel. very disappointed on this. the comforter was also very thin its like a white cloth only with fully filling. better give a plain white cloth as a blanket. basically, we been put off with the beautiful pictures from the hotel but what was given below expectation especially with the pillow, comforter and the matress. the main reason to have a stay in hotel to enjoy a good night rest and sleep but this is not achiveable in this hotel with the NON SOUND Prof windows and door, you can hear the sounds of vehicles from the road below. very disturbing for a sleep. basically, i would rate this hotel as BAD and making in my WORST hotel that i have stayed. if can please avoid and choose many other hotels nearby.

It started off rough. Got into the hotel early to leave our luggage and the guy manning the check in was cold, standoffish, and didn’t even bother replying to our pleasantries. When we returned, a misunderstanding ensured. Cos of my earlier encounter, I was just unreasonable. But thank goodness for Suhaila (I think) and her manager - they deescalated the situation with grace and aplomb. That bump aside, I had a lovely time. Was in room 213. Initially I was worried because I have read about noise issues coming from the club next door. But either the club was closed or the soundproofing worked, there were no disturbances. We slept like babies. The room was beautiful, and the location is amazing. This hotel is highly Recommended. Just don’t bother to pay extra for the breakfast. That was just too sad. We tried it on our last day in the hotel as we were leaving early for the airport. It was dismal.

Walking distance to almost everything in Georgetown: blue mansion, little india, St. George Chapel, Fort Cornwallis, Queen Victoria’s Clock Tower, etc. Lots of restaurants around. The hotel is small with two levels only. The room is clean and in good shape. It is not sound proof though. You can hear noises from outside and in the evening, the lights from the hallway comes through the lover glass above the door. A bit disturbing especially if you can’t sleep with lights on. If they could turn if off after midnight, would be great. Hot shower is excellent but the positioning of the shower is a bit weird. Right on top of the toilet. They provide towels, shampoo/body wash and lotion and tv but so far only sports channel is English. Hot and cold water for drinking is outside the ally. They also have a coffee shop that is open early in the for breakfast until afternoon. The mosque is right next door and the first prayer of the day starts at 06:00hrs.

First experience with capsule hotel bed and dormitory with 3 other lovely female travellers. Fortunately, it was an experience exceeding all expectations!! First WOW - look at all the cultural heritage, beautiful art, antique items and furniture, the Feng Shui Koi pond, water fountain, greenery! OMG- better than visiting a museum- you get to live and experience it!!! Second WOW- looking for street food? Walk around and you see stalls selling the local delish: SATAY, Lok Lok, Char Hor Fun and other stalls. Also, the handicraft stores with Batik and wooden sculptures! Other amenities : open swimming pool, 3 shower room next to it and hair dryer (tip: the water pressure and shower much more satisfying compared to bathtub or shower inside dorm room, and a game/ relax room filled with couch to wind down after a tiring day. and just Final WOW- the receptionist and staffs are helpful and well-informed! Guests were invited to join in the fun and you can see guests lounging in the open, relaxed and chatting with the staffs! Room for improvement: mosquitoes... can't seem to get rid of them ( so be prepared) and the places are considered clean... but not spotless. I hope this culturally rich building can be well maintained, and the places be properly upgraded even more as it succeeds as one of the most valuable hotel experience in Georgetown 🥰

The Magazine Vista Hotel in Penang is more cost-effective. When choosing this hotel, I consulted for a long time, such as booking (more reviews, good or bad), Ctrip (only a simple review). Because it only opened in 2018, the hardware is very new, and the hygiene is good. I especially like to have a washing machine, but I have to find a place to dry the clothes indoors. The location of the apartment is very good. On the left is the GAMA supermarket, and on the right is the landmark of Everbright. Fruits and snacks have their own favorites! Call the front desk before arriving at the hotel, because the front desk is not here, so call in advance and the hotel will send staff to wait at the door. When you call, you need to speak English. There is a Chinese-speaking waiter. India borrowed ”Di Li” (transliteration)-Figure 6 this one. If you call him, you will have no difficulty in communication. He will come to collect a tax of MYR 10 per night, introduce room facilities, and even help you set up a taxi app on your phone. The network is poor and it can't be connected for a few days, so it is important to buy a local phone card. Despite reporting this issue to the receptionist, who insisted it was operational, I was even unable to receive messages on WhatsApp. The room, while somewhat compact, is manageable for a brief stay. An odd design choice is the air conditioning unit, which is positioned directly opposite the bed. This made it uncomfortable to use at night, as the airflow directly targeted the sleeping area.

The location is great. Breakfasts very good. Perfect pool to cool down (cold water, seriously), good choice. For me, the location and the swimming pool (because of my daughter) is ok. I recommend it. But: Zero wardrobes, cupboards etc. We had to keep everything in suitcases and there was not even a towel rack in the bathroom. It is much more important than an extra toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. Besides, calls from a nearby mosque are awakened. These are the details that irritate. And the pillows - high and hard. In addition, the hotel complies with the description and you can safely spend a few nights in it.

A Chinese-owned bed and breakfast is very close to the surname bridge. There are also many Chinese-opened tea rooms for breakfast. The room is small, the toilet is cool, and no one can speak Chinese when the boss is absent. The grand birthday of the Tiangong, I do not know whether it is fireworks or someone hit the window. Anyway, when the shower was in the window, the window was so loud that the mother was scared. I thought someone was out of the window. I quickly called to come over and check, and I didn’t find out the reason. The staff was also very good. It’s said that we didn’t change rooms, and we didn’t bother to change the last day.

OPH room is clean and very small, almost like a square cube. A bed to sleep, a working table and a relatively spacious bathroom. Air-condition and water heater works really good. This will be my first time experience stayed in Tido Penang Hostel and really like it. The room is quite cosy and comfortable. Each person got one big locker space with key, pillow and mattress, reading light, a plug, blanket and towel. Free WiFi at all floors and in dorm room too. The hostel consist of 5 floors, 1st to 4th floor comes with 5 rooms & 5 individual bathroom & WC. The lounge on 5th floor was big and had great 2 swinging egg chairs and plenty of space over looking the view of the city. There was also a computer if you need to use one. Every floor has a iron and board. The 5th floor comes with books/magazine cupboard, table bench & high chair, soft sofa, a fridge, refillable hot/cold water filter and a small kitchenette. Free breakfast is at 5th floor overlooking the city in the morning that comes with self service toast, 4 types of spread, biscuits, coffee, tea & filtered water. Every shared bathroom is clean and comes with rain shower hot/cold pressure power and shampoo/body wash. The 8 bedded bunk room is clean and spacious and look exactly the same in the booking website. Open air parking is next to Caltex petrol station. All in all, for a price that am paying, I am happy with my stay and highly recommending and suggested this place for those who want to explore Georgetown The service overall was excellent and the facility was fabulous. The location was in a quiet area and very convenient for eating out. Highly recommend Tido.. :)

Our stay at the blue mansion was amazing from start to finish. The staff were excellent and efficient. The room was great, with some nice touches like biscuits and sarongs to use by the pool. It’s worth noting the room had a fan and air conditioning which we didn’t expect from a historic residence. We were blown away by the hotel and would recommend it to anyone staying in Georgetown. It really added to our trip.

Yes, this is a budget Hotel. For around MYR 100 you get what you pay for. Great location, right in the action. Bars, Restaurants, hawker stalls, shops etc. Clean basic room, clean sheets, bed a little hard but still slept well. good A/C and shower facilities. There is hot and cold water 24/7 and a large balcony area with seating, overlooking the road where you can smoke vape and have a drink. Ironing station available. Only downside to this place is poor Wi-Fi. Could not get any internet in the reception area and definitely not in the rooms. Overall, an ok stay for a night or two. No problem recommending this Hotel.

We had a pleasant three-day stay at this hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location, situated between two large malls with plenty of shops and restaurants and within a reasonable cab ride to both George Town and Batu Ferringhi. The room was quite spacious but a little bit dated and worn down. It could use a refresh. The bed was very comfortable, however, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. We enjoyed using the beautiful infinity pool. Service was friendly and efficient. One area that could use improvement is the breakfast. Although there is a good variety of items offered, many just weren't very tasty. The best thing on the buffet was the homemade ice cream. Overall, this is a good place to stay when exploring the island of Penang.

Loved our stay at Tien Terrace, the whole place is spotlessly clean with such a beautiful finish to all aspects. The room is modern, comfortable and clean. The air con is a dream, it’s quiet so doesn’t disturb your sleep. Location is great too, perfect walking distance to everything. It’s on a quiet little street too which makes it a lot more authentic. The hotel location is strategically placed in central on George Town. Everything is so closed by walking distance. Hotel staff were friendly. The Chinese uncle at the parking area was friendly. He said is the Co-owner of the hotel. Thanks for assisting me getting the parking The room was clean and neat. Although the hotel is by the road side, the road noise were almost to none. The WiFi connection was okay. Was hoping could use a faster connection. But I used it when in hotel. Not much to complain about. Parking lots are limited if you are travelling in evening. The staff will assist you anyway to get you a safe parking. Happy with my 3d2n stay. Recommended. Definitely will come again with a bigger room. Thanks Regards Happy customer and Penang’s food lover
